In some young people, in some classes, at some periods in history, this crisis will be minimal; in other people, classes, and periods, the crisis will be clearly marked off as a critical period, a kind of “second birth,” apt to be aggravated either by widespread neuroticisms of by pervasive ideological unrest. Adolescence is the identity crisis; it occurs in that period of life cycle when each youth must forge for himself some central perspective and direction, some working unity, out of the effective remnants of his childhood and the hopes of his anticipated adulthood; he must detect some meaningful resemblance between what he has come to see in himself and what his sharpened awareness tells him others judge and expect him to be. This sounds dangerously like common sense; like all health, however, it is a matter of course only to those who possess it, and appears as a most complex achievement to those who have tasted its absence. Only in ill health does one realize the intricacy of the body; and only in a crisis, individual or historical, does it become obvious what a sensitive combination of interrelated factors the human personality is—a combination of capacities created in the distant past and of opportunities divined in the present; a combination of totally unconscious preconditions developed in individual growth and of social conditions created and recreated in the precarious interplay of generations. #RandolphHarris 1 of 28

Some young individuals will succumb to this crisis in all manners of neurotic, psychotic, or delinquent behavior; others will resolve it through participation in ideological movements passionately concerned with religion or politics, nature, or art. Still others, through suffering and deviating dangerously through what appears to be a prolonged adolescence, eventually come to contribute an original bit to an emerging style of life: the very danger which they have sensed has forced them to mobilize capacities to see and say, to dream and plan, to design and construct, in new ways. Some men are rather endangered young men, beset with syndromes of conflict whose outline we have learned to recognize, and whose components we can analyze. We will undoubtedly see a tragic re-evaluation of the first attempts by youth to ritualize life for themselves, against us, and by themselves, and of the way in which, in the face of such provocation and challenge, the elder generation abdicates too willingly and too quickly its vital role as sanctioners and critics. For without some leadership—and, if need be, leadership that can lustily resisted—the young humanists are in danger of becoming irrelevant and ending up, each individual and each clique, stewing in strictly episodical “consciousness expansions.” And now from speculation to utopia. The possibility of a true polarization of the new specialized-technological identity and the universalist-humanist one must be allowed for the simple reason that such a polarization is the mark of the over-all identity of any period. #RandolphHarris 2 of 28

A new generation growing up with and in technological and scientific progress as a matter of course will be prepared by the daily confrontation with radically new practical possibilities to entertain radically new modes of thought. This may form a link between a new culture and new forms of society, allowing for ways of balancing specialization with new inner freedom. And neohumanist youth will find some accommodation with the machine age in which they already fully participate in their daily habits. Thus, each group may reach into the other that sensitivity or sturdiness which may be ready for activation. Polarization, however, is continued tension and dynamic interplay. I do not mean, then, to predict or even to wish that the clarity of opposition of the technological and the neohumansit identity be blurred, for dynamic interplay needs clear poles. What I mean to suggest is that youth, in all its diversities, will share a common fate, namely, a change in the generational process itself. I am not, however, abandoning my conception of the human life cycle or the place of identity in it. Yet, I will submit that subdivisions in the stages of greatest importance for identity will distribute generational functions somewhat differently. Already today, the mere division into an older, id est, parent, generation and a younger, id est, pre-parent, generation is becoming rather superannuated. #RandolphHarris 3 of

Rapid technological changes make it impossible for any traditional way of being older to become so institutionalized that the younger generation can step into it or, indeed, resist it in revolutionary fashion. Aging, for example, will be (or already is) a quite different experience for those who have something somewhat more lasting to offer. By the same token, young adulthood will be divided into older and younger adults, the not-too-young and not too old specialists, probably moving into the position of principal arbiters—each for the limited period of the ascendance of a particular stage of his specialty. His power, in many ways, will replace tradition as the sanction of parenthood. However, this also means that the, “younger generation” will be (or already is, as I will testify from my observations as college professor) divided more clearly into the older and the younger young generation, where the former will have to take (and is eager to take) much of the direction of the conduct of the latter. Thus, the relative waning of the parents and the emergence of the young adult specialist as the permanent and permanently changing authority is bringing about a shift by which older youth guided by such young authority will have to take increasing responsibility for the conduct of younger youth—and we for the orientation of the specialists and of older youth. #RandolphHarris 4 of 28

This, however, we can only do by recognizing and cultivating an age-specific ethical capacity in older youth—which is the true criterion of identity. That we consistently neglect this potential and even deny it in good paternalistic fashion is probably resented much more by youth than our dutiful and feeble attempts to keep order by prohibition. At any rate, the ethics of the future will be less concerned with the relationship of generations to each other than with the interplay of individuals in a scheme in which the whole life span is extended; in which new roles for both genders will emerge in all life stages; and in which a certain measure of choice and identity must be the common value, to be guaranteed in principle to every child planned to be born anywhere. As this can never again become a matter of fixed tradition, it probably cannot be the concern of old-fashioned “movements.” New social inventions will replace both, but they can emerge only from a new and young sense of ethics which values the vital moment in relentless change. When it comes to self-accusations, a person may feel haunted by guilt-feelings without being able to attach them to anything definite. In his desperate search for a reason, he may finally resort to the idea that perhaps they concern a guilt incurred in some previous incarnation. Sometimes, through a more concrete self-accusation will emerge and he will believe that now he had found the reason that he hates himself. #RandolphHarris 5 of 28

Let us assume for instance that he has realized that he is not interested in other people and does not do enough for them. He tries hard to change this attitude and hopes, by doing so, to get rid of his self-hate. However, if he has really turned against himself, such efforts—though all to his credit—will not rid him of the enemy because he has put the cart before the horse. He does not hate himself because his self-reproach is in part valid, but rather accuses himself because he hates himself. And one self-accusation will follow another. He does not take revenge; therefore, he is a weakling. He is vindictive; therefore, he is a brute. He is helpful; therefore, he is a sucker. He is not helpful; therefore, he is a selfish pig; and so on. If he externalizes the self-accusations, he may feel that everybody is imputing ulterior motives to everything he does. This may be so real to him that he resents others as unfair. In defense, he may wear a rigid mask so that nobody will guess from his facial expressions, his tone of voice, or his gestures what is going on within him. Or he may even be unaware of such externalizations. In his conscious mind, then, everybody is very nice. And only during the analytic process will he realize that he actually feels under constant suspicion. Like Damocles, he may live in terror lest the sword of some severe accusation fall on him at any moment. #RandolphHarris 6 of 28

In general, the reality of everyday life is organized around the “here” of my body and the “now” of my present. This “here and now” is the focus of my attention to the reality of everyday life. What is “here and now” presented to me in everyday life the realissimum of my consciousness. The reality of everyday life is not, however, exhausted by these immediate presences, but embraces phenomena that are not present “here and now.” This means that I experience everyday life in terms of differing degrees of closeness and remoteness, both spatially and temporally. Closest to me is the zone of everyday life that is directly accessible to my bodily manipulation. This zone contains the world within my reach, the world in which I act to modify its reality, or the world in which I work. In this world of working, my consciousness is dominated by the pragmatic motive, that is, my attention to this world is mainly determined by what I am doing, have done, or plan to do in it. In this way, it is my world par excellence. I know, of course, that the reality of everyday life contains zones that are not accessible to me in this manner. However, either I have no pragmatic interest in these zones or my interest in them is indirect insofar as they may be, potentially, manipulative zones for me. Typically, my interest in the far zones is less intense and certainly less urgent. I am intensely interested in the cluster of objects involved in my daily occupation—say, the world of the garage, if I am a mechanic. #RandolphHarris 7 of 28

I am interested, though less directly, in what goes on in the testing laboratories of the automobile industry in Detroit—I am unlikely ever to be in one of these laboratories, but the work done there will eventually affect my everyday life. I am also interested in what goes on at The Winchester Mystery House or in outer space, but this interest is a matter of private, “leisure-time” choice rather than an urgent necessity of my everyday life. The reality of everyday life further presents itself to me as an intersubjective world, a world that I share with others. This intersubjectivity sharply differentiates everyday life from other realities of which I am conscious. I am alone in the world of my dreams, but I know that the world of everyday life is as real to others as it is to myself. Indeed, I cannot exist in everyday life without continually interacting and communicating with others. I know that my natural attitude to this world corresponds to the natural attitude of others, that they also comprehend the objectifications by which this world is ordered, that they also organize this world around the “here and now” of their being in it, and have projects for working in it. I also know, of course, that the others have a perspective on this common world that is not identical with mine. My “here” is their “there.” My “now” does not fully overlap with theirs. My projects differ from and may even conflict with theirs. All the same, I know that there is an ongoing correspondence between my meanings and their meanings in this world, that we share a common sense about its reality. The natural attitude is the attitude of commonsense consciousness precisely because it refers to a world that is common to many men. Commonsense knowledge is the knowledge I share with others in the normal, self-evident routines of everyday life. #RandolphHarris 8 of 28

In his preliminary ventures into therapy, the patient gets “couch-broken,” which means that he learns to play his own games lying down, literally, or figuratively, and he also learns to play the therapist’s games well enough to keep the doctor happy. This is best seen on psychiatric in-patient wards, where the patient is taught the rules of mental illness well enough so that he can choose at will between staying on indefinitely (or as long as the family finances hold out), being transferred to a less demanding environment such as a state hospital, or going wherever he is ready. He also learns how to behave to be readmitted. After several stays in the hospital, such patients become adept at “training” younger therapists and psychiatric residents. They know how to cater to the doctor’s hobbies, such as dream interpretation, and how to indulge in their own particular hobbies, such as “producing interesting material.” All of this confirms the basic assumption that patients are good sports. There are a few exceptions, however. Some refuse to play the ward games or the doctor’s games by maintaining that they are innocent of mental illness. Others stubbornly or sulkily refuse to get well, even though they admit that there is something wrong or actively complain about it. Some of these can be placated by allowing them to rest up for a week or two before demanding that they get better. #RandolphHarris 9 of 28

There is a small number of unfortunantes who would like to be good sports, but are helpless in the grip of organic conditions such as Pick’s disease, or quasi-organic illnesses like “process” schizophrenia, agitated melancholia, or mania. Once the latter receive adequate doses of medication such as phenothiazines, dibenzazepines, or lithium, however, they usually become as tractable as needed. Some hospitals, deplorably, use shock treatment to whip headstrong patients into shape. In any case, the first stage in the hospital treatment of psychiatric patients should be to discuss the various aspects of tractability in ward meetings attended by patients, staff, and visiting clinicians. If they understand that the object of psychotherapy is not to get patients out of the hospital, but to get them well, any of these may offer valuable suggestions. If such meetings are conducted with the proper attitude, not only are numerous games short-circuited very quickly, but “making progress” may be given up in favor of getting well and staying well, with the exceptions mentioned above. Furthermore, almost all the patients are grateful for this frank approach. After the meeting, nearly always some of them come up to shake hands with the therapist and perhaps remark: “This is the first time a doctor has treated me like a real person and talked straight to me.” This happens because hospital games are by no means “unconscious.” The patient knows very well what he is doing and why he is doing it, and appreciates an understanding therapist who is not taken in by it. Even if he does not admit this on the first try, the patient is grateful because this approach relieves the tedium of conventional psychotherapy. #RandolphHarris 10 of 28

Self-disclosure refers to the act of communicating one’s experience to others through words and actions. If persons wish others to know them the way they know themselves, they will disclose themselves in truth. If they wish to present a false public self, they will lie, pretending to be someone else, as it were. Authentic self-disclosure is not merely a way to make oneself known to others; it is a way to develop relationships with others that are themselves conducive to a healthy personality. If a person feels it necessary to mislead others about the kind of person he or she is, that person will engage in false disclosure, like an actor trying to convince the audience of his or her authenticity. If person feels it necessary to mislead others about the kind of person he or she is, that person will engage in false disclosure, like an actor trying to convince the audience of his or her authenticity. However, such chronic misrepresentation of self leads to serious consequences. If persons lie chronically to others about their real feelings, wishes, memories, and plans, they will eventually lose touch with their authentic experiencing. They will not know who they really are, so lost are they in their assumed identities. This loss of self, or self-alienation, results from repression of one’s real experiencing, as one pretends to be the person projected as the public self. Self-alienation is the source of most psychological illness (neurosis and psychosis), and it also is a factor in the development of physical illness. Persons with high degrees of self-alienation are out of touch with reality, especially the reality of their own bodies and needs. Consequently, their actions do not serve their wellbeing and growth; it only protects their public selves. #RandolphHarris 11 of 28

Egotism is plain unhandy. Insofar as I am Somebody, I cut myself off from other-buddies. I am trapped in should/oughts, moment by moment weighed and evaluated in the eyes of others, a victim of opinion (mine and theirs), constrained to put on my best shopkeeper’s face and coat. This happens insofar as I am Nobody, too. It is the same whether I am looked up to or looked down on (mine and theirs. My only freedom is in being equal—not with the I cannot feel myself to be above someone else without putting someone else down. I cannot feel myself to be below someone else without putting someone else up. If only we will regard them so, all men are equal. When I live with equalness, the Nobodies usually like me but the Somebodies are not always so happy about it. I am not showing them due respect. When I was twelve, my mother told me that my first-grade teacher said, “I don’t know what to do with your son, Mrs. Winchester. He treats me as if he were Lord Mayor of London.” I was very sad to hear this, for I had loved and respected Miss Livingstone very much to learn from her, but still, she was my equal. I felt that way about Brad Pitt, too, when I was in my twenties. He liked this. To me, it is democracy. Equalness is with honesty, and accepting me as I am. Am I any different when I am a university press editor or when I am working as a cook in a boarding house? It is good for me to switch around this way in my living and notice the nonsense—that my views carry more weight as an editor than as a cook, when I am still the same person with the same views. #RandolphHarris 12 of 28

It was good for me to notice years ago that I was deferentially received by clerks when I was wearing a British wool suit, with my hair in place, and ignored by the same clerks when I was wearing Levi’s and a flannel shirt, with my hair blown about by riding in a convertible BMW. In both cases, I was not being met. And who—or what—was meeting me? If it denies itself, the open self is false, for then it is not open to its own needs. If it were not so easy to get mixed up, it would be nice. When I came to know my own need not to use force on others or myself, and that I must “let things happen,” and all would be well, I was so carefully guarding against imposing on others (looking outward) and so sure that what I needed would come about—and then it did not. It was a long time before I realized that I was making this non-happening happen by not permitting the happening of myself, that I was using force on me. We come upon those knowings in ourselves and misconstrue them, in terms of living by them, as I did. “I do not have to do anything—it will all come to me.” The words are all right when I read them in the right place in me. I should not do something intentionally to produce something. However, if I do not let myself happen, I cannot move into it, which is where the happenings take place. I still make this mistake sometimes, but I am quicker at noticing, now. When I knew that it was right for me to leave a place, I was waiting for circumstances or people to make this come about—to make it happen. I knew it was right: therefore, it should happen. Then I noticed that I was waiting for the decision to come from outside, forcing me. #RandolphHarris 13 of 28

At that point, I made the decision myself. In reality, it had already been made in me but I was not letting it act. When I did, then other happenings took place around me and they happened (on the whole) very well, not only for me but also for others—in ways that I could not have foreseen. True quiet means keeping still when the time has come to keep still, and going forward when the time has come to go forward. In this way, rest and movement are in agreement with the demands of the time, and then there is light in life. In general, of historical dynamics in terms of charisma and routinization is an attempt to answer the paradox of unintended consequences. For the charisma of the first hour may incite the followers of a warrior hero or prophet to forsake expediency for ultimate values. However, during the routinization of charisma, the material interests of an increased following are the compelling factor. A charismatic movement may be routinized into traditionalism or into bureaucratization. Which course is taken does not depend primarily upon the subjective intentional framework of the movement, and especially upon the economic order. “The routinization of charisma, in quite essential respects, is identical with adjustment to the conditions of the economy, that is, to the continuously effective routines of workaday life. In this, the economy leads and is not led.” Just as in this particular context leading role is given to the economy, and there is an appreciation of the determining weight of the economic bases. #RandolphHarris 14 of 28

Man’s spontaneity and freedom are placed on the side of heroic enthusiasm, and thus there is an aristocratic emphasis upon elites (“virtuosos”!). Man’s spontaneity and freedom are placed on the side of heroic enthusiasm, and thus there is an aristocratic emphasis upon elites (“virtuosos”!). This emphasis is intimately associated with the attitude of modern democracy. By skillfully selecting some facts but suppressing more facts, by emphasizing a few and ignoring many, by distortion and dishonesty, a case could be built up for evil as good and for good as evil. The futility of logic lies in this, that where facts please a man’s fancy, he will trot them forward in his oh-so-logical arguments, whereas where they are not to his taste, he will unblushingly suppress them. Those who take the trouble to form a rational opinion upon any matter by investigating the facts at first hand, have a stronger claim upon the attention of the thoughtful than those who receive ready-made opinions from books or hearsay. It should never be necessary for anyone to encircle the fine philosophy of the Spirit with the unworthy defenses of a refusal to face facts. We may measure the worth of a teaching by pressing it to its ultimate theoretical conclusion and by ascertaining clearly its ultimate practical destination. How factual is their teaching? So its tenets find confirmation in rigid observation in the factor of experiencing and the thoughts of reason? If his training of the intellect is to bear spiritual fruit, this is what he must ask himself. #RandolphHarris 15 of 28

Allyship benefits organizations, communities, and allies themselves. People who confront prejudice experience a sense of empowerment and confidence. However, allies need specific skills to effectively confront prejudice (such as the knowledge and ability to confront in an optimistic and calm tone). In light of this, an important direction of research is the development of allyship skills for the benefit of workers and organizations. Allyship for gender identity minorities could include one’s pronouns on written materials, such as name tags and email signatures. In doing this, the majority group members could confront prejudice and discrimination that would otherwise be directed at gender minorities. For many of the award-winning members of the Sacramento Fire Department, officers, EMTs, and paramedics, the certification and training offered is often complemented by an educational degree. Some departments give incentives to further one’s education or require it for promotion to administrative positions. Community colleges and universities offer associates, bachelors, masters, and even PhDs in subjects that are related to their field. The fire service also has higher education opportunities. The United States Fire Administration/National Fire Academy offers the Executive Fire Officer Program (EFOP). The EFOP is designed to provide senior fire officers with a broad perspective on various facets of fire and emergency services administration. Although the application process and prerequisites vary over time, interested students who have higher rank and higher education levels are generally given preference. #RandolphHarris 16 of 28

One summer, in the early mornings, a flash of lightning and a tremendous crash of what seemed to be thunder awakened the entire population of the city during a heavy rainstorm. Minutes later, a red glare appeared in the sky, and residents poured into the streets. What they found there was a scene of destruction never before witnessed in the history of the young city. Over 40 homes were destroyed, with another 100 homes sustaining serious damage from the concussion of the explosion. Witnesses could see the damage in the glare of the fire. Windows had been shattered, chimneys blown down, and siding stripped away from homes. Some roofs were blown off and complete destruction had ensued. Dazed and bloody people were wandering around what was left of their destroyed homes. Apparently, a bolt of lightning had struck a factory and caused the explosion. People were shaken awake by the crash of breaking glass. Windows had been blown out in several stores. The sound of the explosion was heard 15 miles to the north and to the south. The fire department and many doctors were immediately summoned to the scene. Despite the ferocity of the blast, there was only one fatality: a sleeping man who was struck by a brick. Many others reported injuries such as cuts and bruises from flying debris or being covered with plaster and debris while in their beds. Stories of near misses were abundant. Many said that bricks had been blown through the walls of their homes, bouncing off the headboards of their beds. Therefore, if you ever hear an unattended fire alarm or if there is a fire alarm going off, it is generally a good idea to call the fire department and evacuate a structure. Sometimes people have chemicals or other things that could cause an explosion. #RandolphHarris 17 of 28

If you see a fire truck stopped in the street without the lights on, be very careful. Sometimes there is an emergency, and you should not pass the fire truck. It might be a good idea to safely turn around and go another way because if you hit someone and they happen to die, you could be charged with manslaughter. Sometimes fire firefighters are getting back into their vehicle, and if you pass the apparatus, you may collide with a firefighter who is on foot. Also, be sure to look at their signals; sometimes emergency vehicles are in motion, albeit slowly, and drivers try to pass them, and this could lead to a dangerous situation. Also, if you are in an intersection when you see an emergency vehicle, continue through the intersection. Drive to the right as soon as it is safe and stop. Obey any direction, order, or signal given by a law enforcement officer or a firefighter. Even if they conflict with existing signs, signals, or laws, follow their orders. When their siren or flashing lights are on, it is against the law to follow within 300 feet of any fire engine, law enforcement vehicle, ambulance, or other emergency vehicle. If you drive to the scene of a fire, collision, or other disaster, you can be arrested. When you do this, you are getting in the way of firefighters, ambulance crews, or other rescue and emergency personnel. The concept of professional courage does not always mean being as tough as nails, either. It also suggests a willingness to listen to other people’s problems, to go to bat for them in a tough situation, and it means knowing just how far they can go. It also means being willing to tell the boss when he or she is wrong. #RandolphHarris 18 of 28

California is the third most expensive state in the nation. A single person making an income above $100,000 is now considered low-income in five counties in California. This distinction now applies to individuals living in Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco, and Marin counties. In 37 percent of counties, a family of four living on a six-figure income is now considered low-income. In fact, Governor Gavin Newsom of Democratic controlled California, brags about being the world’s “fifth largest economy,” but it also facing a $12 billion deficit, looking to cut $747 million for state worker’s pay, pushing to keep medical insurance for illegal immigrants, but wants to cut medical for anyone who has assets over $2,000 and the state has the largest homeless population in the nation. If they are all officially counted, California has approximately 4 million homeless people. The highest home prices in the nation, the highest taxes, and the most unfriendly business regulations known to man. The average home price in California is nearly $1,000,000.00 USD, while the average salary is $96,036.00, meaning that most Californians cannot even afford to buy a home. California is having an affordability crisis. In 2025, many people in California saw their bills increase by an estimated $500 a month. This includes items such as food, automobile insurance, homeowners’ insurance, and electricity. In fact, more than 3 million people in California are facing household hardship, and more than 300,000 of them are facing eviction soon. This comes at a time when California is having a shortage of affordable housing. This is caused by nearly half a century-old laws that discourage home sales and encourage higher rents. #RandolphHarris 19 of 28

Meanwhile, China, where we are sending all our jobs and money, has more than 50 ghost cities, with 65 million vacant homes. Ghost cities are regions will housing has been overdeveloped to the point that these places are uninhabited. Because California is so hostile towards people and businesses, more than 360 companies have fled the state since 2020. Businesses like Chevron, SpaceX, Oracle, and Hewlett-Packard are among the names on that list. Also, more than 500,000 people a year are abandoning California because it is too expensive to live in, Gavin Newsom has criminalized homelessness and actually started arresting people without homes, crime is out of control, and they are losing their jobs due to companies relocating. More than 100 companies have announced layoffs in California for 2025. Intel is cutting 15,000 jobs, PayPal 2,500, and Meta has terminated 4,000 employees. California also has the highest unemployment rate in the country at 5.4 percent, while the national average is 4.1 percent. The California crisis created by Democrats is driving up home prices and mortgages, and rents all over the nation and the world, making living unaffordable for all, and advocates say the crisis is far from over. Accordingly, California has more than 3.5 million illegal immigrants. Having the Southern American boarder open and not having American farmland protected, not producing beef, poultry, fish, fruit, produce and dairy in America, and without American goods and services being our number one manufactured and selling items, America has created a dangerous and significantly elevated risks to national security, national economic security, and national public health. Some people may believe that these claims are overstated, but by not routinely monitoring Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CEVs) or other security-relevant alerts, such as the end-of-life of machinery is how the Oroville Dam Crisis occurred in 2017. #RandolphHarris 20 of 28

Other crises that have occurred due to neglect of critical infrastructure are the 2025 Palisades fires because Southern California ran out of water, when they are located next to an ocean and they could have simply created desalination plants to help with the water shortage. The water is so plentiful that it is currently eroding land and causing homes to fall into the sea. Desalination has been identified as one technology that will help solve California’s water scarcity problem. Desalination is a cost-effective technology that can transform an abundance of salt water into a reliable supply of potable, fresh water, which is a great way to fight climate change and have enough water for our region’s water requirements. Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia, is producing 1,036,000 meters (273,682,192) per day of desalinated water. As we see gangs fighting with federal law enforcement, states and cities refusing to honor federal laws, and politicians showing an utter disregard for the Constitution of the United States of America, anarchy is becoming increasingly common. Anarchism is a cluster of doctrines and attitudes centered on the belief that government is both harmful and unnecessary. Derived from the Greek root anarchos, meaning “without authority,” anarchism, anarchist, and anarchy are used to express both approval and disapproval. The anarchist denies man-made laws, regards property as a means of tyranny, and believes that crimes is merely the product of property and authority. #RandolphHarris 21 of 26

However, the anarchist would argue that their denial of constitutions and governments leads not to “no justice” but to the real justice inherent in the free development of human sociality—the natural inclination, when unfettered by laws, to live according to the principles and practice of mutual aid. Anarchism is also a form of treason. Treason, the crime of betraying a nation or a sovereign by acts considered dangerous to security. In English law, treason includes the levying of war against the government and the giving of aid and comfort to the monarch’s enemies. In the United States of America, treason was defined restrictively by the framers of the Constitution. Treason against the United States of America “shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them aid and comfort,” which is something that many politicians are currently guilty of. The American government should know all exploitable vulnerabilities and fix them before the situation becomes a crisis. Failure to take such mitigating actions is dangerous and significantly elevates risk to national security, national economic security, and national public health and safety. The American government must understand that significant time and resources must be invested in America. They must also encourage corporations to plan for both mitigating safety vulnerabilities in the short term and eliminating them in the long term. For instance, a company might begin by reaching out to the federal, state, or local government and requesting tax incentives to provide security to dangerous communities, to help the government repair bridges and potholes. #RandolphHarris 22 of 26

America needs an approach to eliminate safety vulnerabilities in American cities. There needs to be a road map by the end of 2025, outlining a prioritized approach to eliminate crisis situations in America. There is enough money to send aid to foreign nations, but the American government does not have enough money to care for its infrastructure, provide adequate resources, or end the affordable housing crisis. Nor is there enough money to fund other national critical functions (NCFs). These bad practices of putting America and Americans last are considered exceptionally risky, particularly to national security, national economic security, and national public health and safety. In 2024, Americans spent $100 billion on Japanese cars. As a result, the American automobile trade deficit with Japan was $39 billion. The maximum percentage of your gross income that you should earmark for a monthly mortgage payment is calculated at 28 percent, and no more than 36 percent of your gross income to all debts, including mortgage. If you take 28 percent of the median household income per home in Sacramento County, homeowners can only afford a mortgage of $2,070.23 per month. And if you take 36 percent of their gross income to all debts, including mortgage, they should be devoting no more than $2,661.72 a month to these debts. The mortgage lenders must be using some kind of sorcery to get buyers into these expensive homes. To afford one of these homes using traditional guidelines, a household would need to gross $11,280.24 per month or $135,362.88 per year, but the median household in Sacramento County is grossing $7,393.67 or $88,724.00, and that typically means two to four people in the home are working and contributing to the mortgage. #RandolphHarris 23 of 28

Home prices in Sacramento County are rivaling the Bay Area. Historically, homes in the Bay Area have been more expensive because they have higher-paying jobs, a larger population, and the Bay Area is a tourist destination. Contributing to the housing affordability crisis is Gavin Newsom, who has been lavishing illegal immigrants with taxpayer-funded resources and cash aid. The State of California has a budget deficit of $12 billion because Governor Gavin Newsom granted 700,000 illegal immigrants free health care, which costs taxpayers $3 billion annually. At the same time, Newsom cut vital programs for veterans, school children, the disabled, and the homeless. Additionally, Newsom seems to be uneducated about economics and is proposing to fast-track his plan to build a $20 billion water tunnel beneath the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, which would eliminate environmental reviews and limit avenues for legal challenges. Gavin Newsom only cares about the environment when his policies allow him to raise taxes and restrict freedoms. To further highlight this illustration, Mexico has been causing one of America’s worst environmental disasters. Fifty million gallons a day of industrial chemicals, untreated sewage, and trash flow from Tijuana, Mexico, into southern San Diego County daily. This toxic waste has been turning up on Imperial Beach and is causing the miles of white sands to become polluted and the ocean breeze to smell of poop, which has been sickening residents and wildlife and costing San Diego millions in the form of lost tourism and health problems. The problem has been going on for more than a century. #RandolphHarris 24 of 28

Drug cartels have been threatening the health and safety of Native American communities. The trafficking of dangerous and illegal drugs into their territories is leading to a second genocide. The overdose rate for Indigenous people is 42 percent higher than the national average. A recent bust on Montana’s Blackfeet Nation’s Tribal Reservation resulted in the seizure of more than 700,000 fentanyl pills, which was the largest bust in Montana history. Recently, the Blackfeet Nation had to declare a state of emergency after facing 17 overdoses in just one week. There are only 6.8 million Native Americans left in the world, which is 2 percent of the American population. We should be doing more to protect these proud and honorable people; they should not want for anything. People rush and give away resources to illegal immigrants, but totally disregard the Indigenous people of this land, as their race silently fades away into extinction. We must secure our borders and increase federal funding to Native American tribes so we can save this precious population. Meanwhile, Gavin Newsom has given billions of taxpayer dollars away to illegal immigrants and protected them from law enforcement, while arresting law-abiding Americans because they cannot afford to pay rent or mortgage, and the homeless shelters are unsafe, overcrowded, and have restrictions on who is allowed inside. He has also totally ignored the cartel problems on American lands. Clean air, water, land, and preserving our heritage are extremely important. We cannot just allow criminals to kill off the people who are native to this land and do nothing about it. Wars have been started over governments that tax citizens without representation. Taxation without representation is what led to the American Revolution. #RandolphHarris 25 of 28

Much like the land crisis in Las Vegas, we could also run out of land to farm and will not be able to grow or cultivate our own food. We can protect American farmland and support American farmers by buying American made beef, poultry, dairy, and produce. Also, country of origin labeling is very important so Americans can know where their food is coming from and can support American farmers and ranchers. As money flows, it influences further investment. Save the land that sustains us by protecting American farmland. Once the land is built on, we lose it forever. And in the future, there may be food wars. Also, to ensure that we have farmland and buildable land for future use, we need to start limiting the number of people allowed to immigrate to America. Perhaps with the immigrants we do allow into America, there needs to be a diversity program to make sure we have a population that equally represents all races of people. If Americans continue to spend money on American products, then more need to be made to keep up the inventory. When investors notice these goods are selling, it gives them the confidence to pour more money into that local business. It shows that people want these goods made in America and pressures investors to keep these goods and services in America. The jobs stay here, the business stays in America, wages naturally increase, and more money is invested to keep up with demand. This reduces the burden on the taxpayer. When you support American businesses, that money stays in our economy and can help to reduce the national debt. The government creates debt by borrowing from businesses in the private sector or from foreign countries. It also increases the national debt by spending more than it gains in tax revenue in a fiscal year. #RandolphHarris 26 of 28

When people shop locally, more tax money stays in the economy and goes to the government. This way, it keeps more money in our national economy and keeps more jobs located in America which also sends more taxes to the government, which can again help to reduce the national debt. When you buy foreign goods, these companies usually have lighter tax loads or exemptions, meaning less money for the national debt, plus you are helping to strengthen these foreign nations by sending more money overseas. Buying American-made products is also better for the environment and helps to reduce the carbon footprint because these products do not have to travel nearly as far. Furthermore, American companies and manufacturers are held to much higher standards on pollution. American companies must be more careful about air, land, and water pollution and have proper ways to dispose of waste. Moreover, please remember to respect law and order and treat your elders with the utmost dignity and kindness possible. And take your education seriously so that you will be successful in life and make your family proud. It is inborn in the human mind to wish to know. If this begins with the endless surface questions of a child’s curiosity, if it continues into deeper questions of a scientist’s probing investigation, it cannot and does not stop there. For the higher part of the mind will eventually come into unfoldment, that union of abstract reflective thought with mystical intuition, which is true intelligence, which needs and sees a view of the whole of things. And so, the knowing faculty enters the realm of philosophy. #RandolphHarris 27 of 28

As you can see, President Donald Trump and his pledge to “Make America Great Again” is exactly what America needs to save the country and the American people. As of 31 August 2025, President Trump has brought $8 Billion in Tariff revenue into America and hundreds of thousands of new jobs. And yes, diversity is important, so you can see why it is also important to preserve blonde hair and blue eyes, as the people with these characteristics are becoming a minority in America. We must think before we can understand the soul’s existence; we must understand before we can realize it. The earliest beginnings of thought, as apart from instinct, when it was itself still but a lurking tendency, belong far back in primeval time. The human intellect as we find it today, so rich and developed an instrument for the consciousness of the ego, did not arrive at this fulness without a series of graduated stages. We have had plenty of scientific thinking, business thinking, and political thinking long enough, but we have had very little inspired thinking. That is the world’s need. The intellect is cradled in selfishness but runs the evolutionary track into reason, where it will one day finish at the winning-post of selflessness. As a reminder, parents, please teach your children to love America and be patriotic citizens, and to buy goods and services made in America. It is also important to respect law and order and treat your elders with respect. Also, to make sure they have all the resources required, please donate to the Sacramento Fire Department to help improve our national security. “Oh, thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand between their loved home and the war’s desolation! Blest with victory and peace, may the heav’n-rescued land Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause is just, and this be our motto: ‘In God is our trust.’ And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.” #RandolphHarris 28 of 28

According to locals, over a century ago, the land that houses The Winchester Mansion had been vacant forever. Then, sometime in the early afternoon of Saturday, March 13, 1886, Sheriff Angel Camilio began getting reports that a massive castle made of wood had suddenly appeared. Gables rose, towers peaked into the sky as the mansion mushroomed into a labyrinth overnight.

The house’s sudden manifestation had been both disconcerting and fascinating to the community. Some felt dark curses flowing from the estate, and things moving around in the darkness. Others saw a fairytale castle glimmering in the spring sunlight. Perhaps this is why there are no records of construction, no blueprints, and no permits filed with the county. Come and see what secrets this so-called, “Winchester Mystery House” may hold.

Ah, yes. The BMW 3 Series. Happy 50th birthday to the most iconic BMW ever! It is really hard to decide on a BMW model. However, the 3 series is a favorite of everyone. All the upper-class suburban families had one in the 1980s and 1990s; everyone from teenagers and housewives to executives and diplomats. Now that they are larger in size, but still sporty and luxurious, the audience has grown tremendously. These are very stylish and reliable cars, which is why BMW continues to dominate the luxury car space.

With its top ranking in Consumer Reports’ Auto Brand Report Card and consistent market share growth, BMW has demonstrated its ability to produce high-performing, reliable vehicles that meet consumer demands. BMW stands out due to its focus on driving dynamics and engineering excellence. While other luxury brands prioritize comfort and opulence, BMW is known for creating cars that are fun to drive and offer a unique connection between the driver and the machine. This is why BMW is known as the Ultimate Driving Machine. https://www.brianharrisbmw.com/

Building strong and lasting client relationships is crucial for a successful legal career. Many lawyers mistakenly believe that mastering legal skills alone ensures success, but law is fundamentally a service industry—our job is to solve problems through the time we sell. To build long-term relationships, attorneys must focus on three core elements: knowing their clients, understanding how their legal issues fit into a larger context, and consistently delivering exceptional service.

Randy advises clients with regard to business transition, taxable and tax-deferred mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructuring, integrated tax planning, federal and state tax controversy resolution, and real estate transactions. Trust is the cornerstone of any client relationship. Ultimately, my clients feel they are in capable hands with someone who genuinely understands their problems and goals. https://www.jmbm.com/l-randolph-harris.html
