Being Human throughout History

Do not be sad because it is over, rejoice that you had a chance. The human being is a blind being, who dreams that one can see. We think the ultimate goal of the humanology is to improve the condition of all individuals. A fully human person appreciates his or her own uniqueness and individuality. Many parents teach their children to try and emulate some imaginary perfect human being. Therefore, each person is unique, and a healthy person appreciates their own special qualities. Some people are more gifted at living than others, they do have an effect on those around them, but the process stops there, because there is no way of describing in technical terms just what it is they do. Therefore, not all people are created equal. A fully human person is aware of the common bond he or she has with all other people. Humans know they are like other people, in having physical and emotional needs, which must be expressed and satisfied. Humans look for the common thread in all human experiences. The average person recognizes that there are differences, such as nationality or religion, and they are artificially imposed and less important than the similarities among humankind. You are all more alike, than not, but some have healthier minds and attitudes about life and the human condition. A fully human person knows that he or she is fully responsible for their own existence. Most people evaluate the teachings of society, making an honest decision to reject what is considered undesirable or dehumanizing. People tend to dislike conflict and crime, but they love peace and happiness. A rational person then bases their personal philosophy and life on their decision and will take full responsibility for their actions.

A complete human does not demand perfection, but tries to fulfill your own potential. Rational people understand that they will make mistakes and accept the responsibility for their actions, try to correct them and move on. Do not say sorry, because you are not, simply correct your actions and try not to repeat those mistakes. Success or failure does not prove that you are superior or inferior, to other people, it simply means you got lucky or have more work to do. As Rebecca Jarvis says, “Never, never, never give up.” And never get too comfortable, you can always be replaced. A true human values people above material goods. A rational person rejects any value system that places the accumulation of wealth above the well-being of other individuals. Rational humans feel strongly that human rights are far more important than material rights. These people recognize are fully human and they recognize that they have a capacity for enjoyment and pleasure. Real people see that life is fun, and they enjoy living. They are thankful to go to school, work and interact with others. They are not afraid of pleasure and these people seek to share the happiness with others. Rational people realize that life must be a balance between seriousness and fun. Good humans can be innocent and pure like children, and open to spontaneous enjoyment of life. A fully human person tries to be real and open in their relationships with others. Good people are willing to risk another person’s reaction to open their expression of feelings. Rational people use openness and authenticity, not to manipulate or control, but to share knowledge of yourself with others. “See I am tired of all the games, which you seem to like to play, see what you need to do is forget you knew my name. I am a play you to left because your words are hurting me. See I am never even said that I am here all by myself,” says Aaliyah.

A physically healthy and mature person, who does not engage in sexual activity is called celibate. Celibacy is actually a form of sexual expression because an individual makes a conscious decision not to engage in sexual behavior, this decision in itself is an expression of one’s sexuality. There are two different forms of sexuality. There is complete celibacy in which a person does not masturbate, nor do they have interpersonal sexual contact. Partial celibacy is a little different. With partial celibacy, a person does not engage in interpersonal sexual activity, but they do masturbate. There are many different reasons why people are celibate, some people are celibate because of their religion. Some people are celibate because they are saving their virginity for marriage, so it is a moral obligation. And, others are celibate, until they meet someone who is up to their standards. Then there are others who are celibate because they have been sexually abused, or they do not want to confusing love with sex. Also, celibacy is the best form of birth control and it is also very safe, you will not contract anything because you are not sexually active. Some people suffer from Mysophobia. People who suffer from mysophobia are individuals who are obsessed with cleanliness and defeating bacteria. The human body is a major source of bacteria and sex, with multiple partners, can be very dirty. All of the fluids, and juices and openings used for sexual interaction are gross to some people. Hebrews 13.4 reports, let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

People are so cautious about where they eat, what they eat and the things they put in their mouth, but they turn around and perform oral sex on random people. Also, I think you really need to know someone before you have sex with them. You would not go and lick a random person’s figures, so why put their penis, anus or vagina in your mouth? There is another group of people, who do not have sex, but they are not physically attracted to anything or anyone. These people are called Asexual. They may be heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual, but just have not bloomed. Only one present of the people in the World are Asexual. It is possible that, at some point in their lives, Asexual people may develop their sexuality and find someone they are sexually attracted to. One famous person, who is partially celibate, it Taylor Momsen, former star of Gossip Girl, and lead singer of the Pretty Reckless; Taylor Momsen is healthy, but she prefers to masturbate. Taylor Momsen reports,” I think women should equally be allowed to pleasure themselves as much as men. There’s something wrong with the world. I just think men and women should be treated equally. I’m not a whore for masturbating.” Therefore, one must protect themselves and do what is best for them. If you do not want to have sex, do not. Do not let anyone pressure you into having sex because they may break up with you after they get what they want, so make sure you are ready and as always consult your doctor. “Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens,” says Jimi Hendrix.

I suspect Ancient Egypt is older than 5000 Before Christ because there was life in California 14,000 years ago, and it cannot possibly predate Egypt. Akasha (Maat) was originally from Uruk, or modern day Iraq. She was born 7000 years ago, long before the first pharaoh, Menes, built the first pyramid. At a young age Akasha married Enkil, King of Kemet, which would later become Egypt. Akasha and her husband Enkil wanted their subjects to turn away from cannibalism and encouraged them to eat grains by farming. Ancient Egyptians always believed in natural law that embraced social justice and morality. This rule over the land was supplemented by decrees and laws of the kings, which were kept in writing and archived. The following statement by Horehheb is older than the Christian Bible: (1323-1295 BC) has been recorded, I gave rulers to their face (the officials) and added laws to their collection. Therefore, laws are in the New Kingdom were cited as ‘Pharaoh’s Law’ or began with the introduction ‘Pharaoh reports’. In any case, the legal idea of Maat– goddess of justice, the daughter of the Sun God Ra, Maat personified order, truth, and justice among both gods and humans. As the embodiment of the harmony of the universe, she was considered to possess knowledge of the original gods on Earth. Maat’s symbol, her hieroglyphic sign was the symbol depicted on the scales at the judgment of the dead, and it was weighed against the deeds of the deceased, symbolized as the all Seeing Eye. The weighing of the heart decided the fate of the dead in the afterlife. Maat was also the protective goddess of the judges. Even the laws and actions of the king were answerable to Maat and had to be in harmony with her, as this was vital for the country’s order and economic growth. Maat and the officials appointed by the pharaoh were legally bound to Maat, who represented the ethical basis of the structure of the state. The high-ranking vizier, as well as the low-ranking scribe, was considered to be a keeper of Maat.

The vizier was the most important officials of the state and the second-highest judge, after the Pharaoh. His job was to supervise the observance of the laws of the country. The vizier was also responsible for making offerings to the gods, by keeping the gods happy, the land was happy. At the judgment of the dead, Horus also known as a creator god, the falcon who flew up at the beginning of time—weighs the heart as the seat of the soul and good and bad deeds, against the feather of Maat. If the deceased spoke the truth in front of Osiris– Osiris was the Egyptian god of the underworld, although he was also worshipped as a fertility, resurrection, and vegetation god. He was married to Isis, a sky goddess. He was father to Horus, the god of sky, and protector of the dead; then the scale dipped in his favor to the side of Maat. Crimes not punished in this World could be the subject of the judicial hearing in the next. People only think they are getting away with murder and that they are god’s people, but there is more to the story. The dispensation of justice was mainly the job of the vizier, but there were special cases that fell outside his sphere or responsibility, such as crime and theft of the royal necropolis (“I know nothing about this case, it is a matter of life and death”). When such a serious crime had been committed, the pharaoh ordered the vizier and high officials to examine the case. After the investigations were finished, the king received a written report. He discussed it with his advisers and passed a judgment suited to the seriousness of the crime. In addition to royal jurisdiction, royal official made sure their law was upheld on a on a local level. Royal officials performed their duties alone or with fellow judges, in a council of elders. Witnesses had to give evidence and after the jury had met, judgment was passed and the protocols of the proceedings were handed over to the vizier’s office, depending on the severity of the case. Some rulings will be handed down, in the next lifetime, you did not get away. “Above all else, guard your heart for it affects everything else you do,” says William Randolph Hearst

Let me now, therefor, turn directly to the question of the European individual and, for a start, cite the observations of the German psychologist, at Harris International, throughout whose work the term ‘individual’ to designate the psychological process of achieving individual wholeness, everyone is required by society to play some specific role. As the traditional structure of the Ancient Egyptian state dissolved at the end of the Old Kingdom (2686-2181 BC), Egypt entered a period of political and economic uncertainty, with no central figure to lead the city; at the close of the 6th Dynasty, Egypt suffered social and political decline. Egypt was the World’s most powerful empire. Insurrections wreaked and divided the central government in Memphis. For more than a century, the country was torn apart by continuing social unrest– bad behavior is contagious. Contagious behavior means that bad behavior can and will excite similar emotions or conduct in others, political anarchy and invasions by Bedouin peoples, very little is known about this period, except that it saw the growth of political power. The monarchs, whose positions had been hereditary since the 5th Dynasty (2494-2345 BC), reigned supreme in their constituencies. Decline of the monarchy—the old Kingdom reached the height of its glory under the great pyramid-building pharaohs of the 4th Dynasty—Khufu, Khafra and Menkaura.

By the 6th Dynasty, the Egyptian state was in terminal decline, as the power of the pharaoh weakened. The nomarchs, since the late 5th Dynasty, the provincial governors—had gained more power and began to demonstrate their independence by building their homes in provinces and styles of their desire. The officials, up to the middle of the 5th Dynasty, all high ranking officials were appointed by all the king and were under his direct control. The rewards were high. Ptahshpses (circa 2445-2421 BC), was given this magnificent mastaba home at Abusir. The trouble began with Pepy II (2278-2184 BC), his old age and long reign caused him to lose control of the country. Many temples were freed from taxations and the chief administrators of the provinces no longer had to pay tributes. The country became bankrupt because the government could not collect taxes are manufactured to produce revenue to run the Kingdom. The pharaohs, residing at Memphis, now ruled all of Egypt in the name only. Their actual influence was limited to a rather small area, as the Delta, too, was independent. All of this led to a rapid turnover of rulers—in the mere 50 years of the 7th and 8th Dynasties there were more than 25 kings. The provincial governors of Herakleopolis took overpower in the north and founded the 9th and 10th Dynasties in 2160 BC, claiming sovereignty over all of Egypt. However, a second power base developed in Thebes, and the local nobles founded the 11th Dynasty in 2125 BC. Both princely houses assumed the title of king of all Egypt—and with this, a fight for supremacy began that would last for decades.

While the Herakleopolitans tried to expel the immigrants from the Near East, the Thebans started to expand their territory from the Delta, under Intef I (2125-2112 BC) and Intef II (2112-2063 BC). The border of the northern part of their country was Thinis; any further expansion was opposed by the provincial governors of Asyut, who at that time, still supported Herakleopolis. Eventually, Mentuhotep II (2055-2004 BC) began to conquer Lower Egypt, reunify the country and found the Middle Kingdom. Provincial governors established their own armies comprising numerous Nubian mercenaries, a large colony of whom seems to have existed at Gebelein, about 30km (18 milmes) south of Thebes. The Nubians are depicted as having curly hair. And the demise of the emipre was the result of an implosion, the empire was ripped apart inside out, the exterior conflict was a distraction method. And Jehovah is a figure like satan, what he does not know, is he cannot predict, what he don’t know. You do not know the spirit of the Lord. “I sought to hear the voice of God and climbed the topmost steeple, but God declared: “Go down again – I dwell among the people.” And keep in mind, “Hearts are dust, hearts love remains, to love in hearts, what we leave behind will not die. The dead shall rise.”

Balancing Family and Work Version

Now that we are in the twenty-first century, about 63 percent of women with children have a stable career. Additionally, there are more homes with two parents working, about 50 percent of households have two working parents and only 3.4 of households have stay me dads. Working fathers work and average of 51 hours a week; which is about 11 hours more than a full-time job. Working mothers work an average 42 hours a week, and are paid about 25 percent less than men, who work the same hours and have the same career. Co-provider families are considered experimental, and they have problems that a single provider family does not have. There are more women in the work force, yet, they domestic responsibilities have not changed much at all. Working women are stilled expected to do the shopping, cook, take care of the kids, and preform house work. While working men mostly just work and hire people to do manly duties around the house like building the fence, remodeling the kitchen and gardening. Sometimes if they have a male son, then he will simply do the yard work, and the mother takes care of all other responsibilities. Many are saying that it is unjust that women continue to carry a disproportionate share of family responsibilities, and are paid less, for the same job. It is almost like working mothers only get time off when they are sleeping.

There have been improvements in men’s participation in childcare and other domestic responsibilities. In 2001, only 1.2 percent of fathers were stay at home dads, today that number is almost 4 percent. Even daytime television is starting to target stay at home dads by airing manly TV shows, in the morning and afternoon, and targeting men with cleaning products and hygiene products. Day time TV used to mostly target women and that is why there were so many soap operas on TV about ten years ago. In 1980, less than 15 percent of children were cared for by their fathers, today that number is up to 18 percent. Some of these days may be taking time off of work, just to support their working wife, and spend time with their children. However, when both parents are home, women are usually expected to deal with the children. It is estimated that women spend about 33 hours a week doing housework, and men spend about 20 hours, but I bet working men spend far less than 20 hours a week on housework. Working men usually do not do housework, unless they know their wife is overloaded and the house is a disaster. And, even though so women earn more than men, men still expect the women to do the housework. I think whoever makes the most should be the one to delegate housework. In addition, men think that working women are a threat because they are competing with their husband and not taking care of their children, like the men expect them to. Psalm 112:7 reports, righteous people are not afraid of unscrupulous news. Their minds are stable. They trust the Lord.

When both parents are working, it does create conflict. Childcare is very expensive, about $500 a month per child. Also, more parents would like to see subsides day care for working parents with high incomes, and maybe a babysitter in the corporate office, so it is easier to deal with children. You can take them to work with you, and drop them off in the day care center located in your office. Sweden is actually believed to be the most family friendly and progressive environment in the industrial World. To keep balance in your home and peace in the family, just be flexible. Try to understand where your spouse is coming from. The keys to success start with self-confidence, which is the belief that one can effectively carry out an activity or reach an objective. Changes are not going to happen overnight, but let your family and corporation know you wishes, but be very polite and just say, “These are some options I would like to consider in the future.” Until then, just keep in mind that you are whole, perfect, complete, fair, rich, simple, alive, beautiful, good, unique, happy, honest, self-sufficient, and very intelligent. Psalms 41.1-2 reports, blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the Lord delivers in times of trouble. The Lord will protect and preserve your life. When you are professional and there is good coming from inside of you, people are likely to listen because you are intrinsically motivating them and setting a good example.

Matthew 12.35 reports, good people bring out good things from the good stored in them. Remember, tied to quality work is responsibility, a good attitude, and good salaries, promotions, and bonuses. By following these guidelines, you can avoid taking spontaneous risk. I have done so many things in my life. Evil things, perhaps. But never inattentively, never wastefully…was I wrong? It is okay to admire other people and be respectful and smile. You can appreciate the beauty of another without being angry, bitter, or jealous. James 5.16 says to pray for each other and wish people well. You get what you put out in the World. Perhaps you are unhappy because you make a lot of other people unhappy. Your bad vibes, thoughts, actions and words are the reason you feel like you are less of a person. To be happy, you have to love yourself and find something that makes you feel connected to reality. On a personal level, psychologists have succeeded in teaching some people to control their anger and aggressive impulses. Anger control is a personal strategy for reducing or curbing anger. The key to self-control and keeping calm is to figure out what is upsetting you. Do you have a mental issue or is there a legitimate reason for you to be so angry and project that anger on to others? A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly (Prov 14:25).

To figure out what is truly going on, to limit anger, people are advised to: define the problem as precisely as possible. Are you mad because he took your parking space, or are you mad because you work up too late and did not make it to work in time to get your favorite parking space? Secondly, make a list of all of the possible solutions to deal with your anger issues. For example, are mad at Buffy because she is annoyingly happy and pretty, or do you just wish you had the same qualities as Buffy, and instead of trying to be a better person, you just hate her? Next, think about some solutions to your problems. If you want to be more like Buffy, maybe you can get to know her and find out what she is doing to be so happy. Then, choose a solution to your problem. If you want that parking space, go to bed earlier and wake up on time. If you want to be as smart as Kurtis, then spend more time studying. In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. (James 2:17). And lastly, consider how successful the solution to your problem is and make adjustments if necessary. Taking these steps has helped many people to lessen tendencies toward child abuse, family violence, and other destructive outburst. There are also programs out there to help you deal with your anger issues talk to your doctor and I am sure they can help you. It is clear that there are a lot of mentally unhealthy people in society, they do not smile, and they are constantly spreading their unhappiness.

Isaiah 35:8 reports, a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it. However, there are still a lot of good people in society, who believe in being prosocial. Prosocial behavior is actions that are constructive, altruistic, or helpful for others. You have to notice others and care about their well-being. What would happen if you got beat up and were left lying in a pool of your own blood and people walk by and laughed at you? Would you want someone to stop? Or would you like them to ignore you and let you die? “In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 7:12). Another good idea is to take responsibility, do not be a victim; you are the architect of your own fate and happiness. Being angry with others will get you nowhere, try to be a good person, try to help others, and try to care. You have to do this with a true heart and no malice. It is okay to talk to other people and say nice things to them. Everyone wants to feel included, and clearly you do too, or else you would not be so angry and mean. “For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Galatians 5:14).

Agent Orange and the Vietnam Conflict
No wars are so furious and bloody, or of so long continuance, as those occasioned by difference in opinion, especially if it be in things indifferent. The friend-like skill we display in the invention of all manner of death-dealing engines, the vindictiveness with which we carry on our wars, and the misery and desolation that follow in their train, are enough of themselves to distinguish most humans as the most ferocious animal on the face of the Earth. Warfare, it has the ability to dramatically alter the lives of people for many generations. War is usually a long-term armed conflict amongst politically organized groups, which results in extensive violence, traumatic injuries, and substantial fatalities.
Although war usually involves two different nations, sometimes conflicts arise between to different political or religious groups in the same country. Conflicts arise because of overpopulation, land, inequality, limited resources or emotions. Prior to the 16th century, combats were typically small, they did not consist of more than 50,000 people and they did not last for a long. However, because of new technology developed in the 19th and 20th centuries, which include nuclear weapons, machine guns, mass transportation and superior communication devices, war now drag on years, and even decades. The Vietnam War is an example of a long lasting conflict.
The Vietnam War began in 1954 and ended in 1975. It took place in Vietnam, which is located in Southeast Asia. This conflict was caused by the Geneva Accords, which split the country into two parts. Ho Chi Minh ruled the communist north and Ngo Dinh Diem was the leader of the south. Ho Chi Minh wanted to unify the country under communist leadership. Nevertheless, the United States was determined to stop the spread of communism. The U.S. trained the Army of the Republic of Vietnam and provided military advisors to help rebuff Ho Chi Minh’s efforts of unifying Vietnam under communistic dictatorship. The summer of August 1964, a U.S. defense ship was attacked by Ho Chi Minh’s army, which led to deployment of U.S. troops, and March 2, 1965, U.S. aircrafts started bombing targets in North Vietnam.
Because Vietnam is a tropical country, with dense vegetation, it was like fighting a war in the jungle. To make matters worse, Ho Chi Minh’s troops, the Viet Cong, knew the land of Vietnam; they would set traps for the Americans, sneak up on them and kill them, then duck into an underground escape tunnel and get away. Americans realized that if they were going to have a chance of winning the war, they would need to level the battle ground by killing the vegetation. From 1961 and 1972, Agent Orange was a herbicide that was used, it burned the leaves off of trees and caused the vegetation to die. However, many soldiers were also sprayed by this toxic Agent Orange. The battle raged on for a few more years, and on April 30, 1975, South Vietnam eventually surrendered and the country of Vietnam was reunited under communist rule. About 58,156 Americans lost their lives during that war, and 3.8 million Vietnamese perished. After U.S. troops returned from Vietnam, many of them had to fight a war of a different kind, and so did their families.
The side effects of Agent Orange afflicted several veterans with extensive health problems; countless Veterans suffered from neurological disorders, loss or burning of eye sight, constipation, violent vomiting and general loss of sensation. Others came down with intestinal problems, hepatitis or inflammation of the liver, ulcers, gastric hyperplasia. Skin problems were also reported. Increased sensitivity to heat and sunlight, hair loss, nails that fell off, changes in skin color and rashes. Numerous veterans developed other side effects including, Parkinson’s disease, heart disease, hypertension, hemorrhages, and cancer. Some veterans were even told that they would only have a few years to live, and that they would never be able to have children. But the buck did not stop there. One of the most unfortunate side effects is Vietnam veterans passed on birth defects to their children, who would have otherwise been born health. The children of Vietnam veterans were often born with enlarged heads, abnormal livers, cleft palate, abnormal or missing digits, missing body parts or organs and Spina Bifida. Spina bifida, meaning ‘cleft spine’, is a birth defect characterized by malformation of brain, spinal cord and their coverings. This is perhaps one of the most common neural tube disorders in the US. This disorder occurs when the fetus does not develop the spinal column properly. The occurrence of spina bifida ranges from 1 to 10 per 10,000 births. 30 percent of children with Spina Bifida die, when they are children and 10 percent do not make it past the age of 35.
It is clear to see that the impact of war has consequences, which can last many generations, and countless lives can be lost. War can also cause major changes to the environment, which could make some areas uninhabitable. When people sign up to defend their country, they do so because they care, they want to protect freedom, and because they want to provide a future for their families. Wars are very serious, and maybe one day we will all be able to live in peace. Through conflict resolution, maybe society will learn to work together. No matter what, someone will always lose a war, but the unborn should not have to spend the rest of their lives suffering. Sometimes these disabilities, in the offspring, of Vietnam veterans cannot be seen, and they try to live “normal” lives, but just imagine how hard it is to live a normal life when one’s body does not function the same as everyone else’s, yet they are still held to the same standards. Many of them may even be ashamed that they are disabled and it is not their fault, but society is very judgmental of those who are different or work at a different capacity. It is not funny that people are hurt or born hurt. A mind which has once been opened by knowledge can ill endure the contraction of dark and perpetual ignorance.
Death of the English Language
A knowledge of the World so seldom falls to the share of a tutor that when, in consequence of his or her employment, he follows his pupil into the World, it is oftener the pupil that carries the tutor, than the tutor the pupil. For years scholars and professors have been fearful of the death of the English language. When I was in high school, my English professor, Mrs. Geiser was so passionate about English. She saw how poor our grammar was and tore her lesson plan up and rewrote it to teach us more about the English language. She was such a sweet woman and I will always remember her. As you can tell, my grammar and English is not perfect, but it is pretty good.
I must admit, that I do not always proof read my writing, and I am horrible with apostrophes, and I may not be the best at spelling, but I try. I have grammar books and a dictionary at my side. Sure, I really should reference my grammar book so I can better understand how to use apostrophes, but shortly after, I always forget. There are just some things people are not good at. Nevertheless, I always try to avoid contractions, as they are not viewed as college level writing. One of my professors used to get on my case saying, “People don’t speak like this, no one is that proper.” However, the way I write and the way I speak are sometime different.
As far as writing goes, I had to teach myself how to write. Sometimes I would have people help me and produce a great product, but I was criticized for not having a real voice, lacking passion and having to heart behind my words. Nevertheless, when I would write my essays without help, I would get so many ideas and did not know how to organize my thoughts. My English professors were so hard on me that I would get anxiety before even sitting down to write because I feared that they would fail me no matter what.
I did complete all of my college level writing classes and actually scored high on standardizes test, but I never had a template to compare my writing to. In some cases, the professors simply did not like my ideas, and wanted me to write from their perspective, but I refused and stayed true to myself. Sometimes other students with tons of grammatical errors would get better grade than me. In other cases, students had no idea what they were writing about, but they had perfect grammar. I may not be a perfect writer, and I am still getting over my anxiety about writing, but I held my ground.
While I may not be a perfect writer, many of the youth of today are far worse than I ever was. Some people blame technology for destroying the English language. Teens these days, do not like to spell words out, they do not write complete sentences, and they use letters to make statements. For example, “SHM” means shaking my head. To communicate with the youth, on social media, I had to find the urban dictionary so I could understand what these strange codes I was seeing meant. Many people say that text messages, instant messages and twitter are helping to erode all structure of the English language, and 60 percent of teenagers used these forums. Sometimes it is hard to tell if they are misspelling things to be cool or if they are simply illiterate. I must admit that even I got lazy on social media and did not always capitalize words that were supposed to be, and I would misspell things because I simply did not care, but a reporter, Rebecca Jarvis from CBS, did a report and she said, “no matter what forum you are using, it is important to use proper grammar,” so I began to correct my mistakes and spell things the way they are meant to be spelled, in most cases.
Rebecca Jarvis also went on to explain that social media is a reflection of you. People are constantly looking at the things you type online and sometime they print this information out and keep them in flies. While social networking may not be where your career is, it is important to be as professional as possible because employers also look at these accounts. Education and learning to write is very important. Corporations like individuals who can clearly express ideas, topics and thoughts. No one wants to hire someone, have that person send out a memo and then no one in the office is able to decode it because the employee does not properly convey their ideas. Therefore, youth literacy is very important. However, 25 percent of students do not graduate from high school, and 42 million Americans cannot read. While social media networks like twitter limit the number of characters one can write, some people have to limit their words and make abbreviations and may be updating from their phones, so they do not always capitalize, when they should. Nonetheless, some people are truly literate.
While I may not be perfect at writing, I can read and write. Subtle courses are more effective than violence I might make a few mistakes, but generally you can understand what I am saying. I value the old culture and try to do my best. I still read Shakespeare– he makes one reflect on what he is saying, as much of his words are metaphorical. Edith Wharton is also one of my favorite authors; I like the way people spoke in the late 1800s and early 1900s. By reading these books, it gives me a connection to our past. They were so eloquent and did not always flat out say what they meant.
To further illustrate my point, “I am in receipt of your communication, and I regret to be compelled to inform you in reply that, after mature consideration of the proposals therein contained, I find myself unable to pronounce a favourable judgment upon the same.” Basically the speaker just said “After careful consideration, I cannot comply.” That is much better than the responses one gets from most people these days. It is important to read and very important to write, I set high goals for myself and just a few years ago, I read several books and over 10,000 pages just to keep my mind active. So keep learning, even if one has to teach oneself. “You can crush a man with journalism.”

A View from the Pyramid–Money, Power, and Success are the Keys to Life
There is a terrible coercion in our deeds, which may first turn the honest man into a deceiver and then reconcile him to the change, for this reason–that the second wrong presents itself to him in the guise of the only practicable right. Many people are driven by the need to achieve something. Achievement makes people feel rewarded. Like the emotions that one feels when one buys a house, gets a new job or has a baby. Those are major accomplishments and they make a person feel like their life has value. These emotions or feelings are also known as “The need for Achievement.”
The need for Achievement is a desire to meet some internalized standards of excellence, according to Dennis Coon. These types of people are driven to succeed. They will stop at nothing to reach their goals, and are often very good at whatever it is they put their minds to. One way to distinguish people who are out for power and people who are out for wealth, those who are out for power will often work very hard and become experts in their field, but they may not be compensated. Their goal is simply to get your attention and try to make your life better. If it leads to a successful career and wealthy, than great, but if not, they are okay by that.
People who are driven by wealth usually have a selfish desire, they are more than likely to only take opportunities that pay high and come with prestige, and may not be willing to start off in a low skill job. Of course both types are not willing to take jobs that will insult their skill level. The need for power is something different. People who have a need for power “want to have impact or control over others,” reports Dennis Coons. People with a need for people like to show boat. They drive expensive cars with big rims, spend a lot of money on clothes and parties and exploit relationships. Some say that the need for power and wealth draws darkness toward them; they are generally stressed out and unhappy. Scientist report people who have a desire for power and wealth are prime targets. There is bound to be a certain percentage of scoundrels and men too weak to resist a bribe in a great and shifting body like the House of Representatives.
For example, if you had the chance to date a common person or a celebrity, which would you choose? The common person, people see them every day, they have been well-introduced in the social scene and are highly accessible, usually are working class or poor. Celebrities, are rarely actually seen. People often question if they are alive. You never get first-hand information from a celebrity; they usually have status and or money. More people are likely to target the celebrity because they are more of a resource, you can get more from them. So that is why darkness is drawn to people who have a need for power and wealth. With these qualities, although, they are good qualities, the darkness is drawn to the light. They are high risk takers and with high risk, come high cost. If you just went around begging and acting crazy, people would feel sorry for you and give you things, not take from you and put you down. People who do not want more from life are not desirable by negative energy or anything else because they have no purpose, no intrinsic value. People with no motivation only need air, food, water, sleep and sex.
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) reports, “They are like adult children and we want nothing to do with them.” People with no motivation in life commit crimes and no one cares, they often do not even get arrested, but let a successful person look like they are doing something wrong, and they get harassed. “We want those ones who look like they are doing something,” Says the DEA. However, the key to success is self-actualization. You know what you want and will stop at nothing.
Until there is a certain level of success, and wealth, people at the top of the pyramid will have little interest in interpersonal relationship, unless they are beneficial. When they get what they want, they will be happy. To you these people may shine so bright, but to them, they still have more work to do until they reach their ideal peak. There are five levels in the pyramid. The bottom is basic needs, second level is a need for protection, third level wants to be loved and accepted. People at the fourth level have a need to be respected and respect themselves, but want more. On the fifth level is where you have all you need and desire. “We must be alarmingly enterprising, and we must be startlingly original, and do new and striking things which constitute a revolution.” -William Randolph Hearst
Cocktail Party Effect

Travelling after Fortune is not the way to secure her. Selective attention is when one gives priority to a particular incoming sensory message and puts others on hold. To further illustrate my point, your boss tells you, “Do not even think about dating anyone,” and you listen to her for a while, but then time goes on, and someone shows you a little attention and the next thing you know, you find yourself attracted to this person. This could be because you are around lot of very mature people, and when you met someone young, you are attracted to their youth and not so much their personality. However, in the back of your mind, you remember what your boss told you, but because the command that was given to you in the past, it starts to narrow as new information comes in.

During whatever you want to call the process you are going through with this new person, and your bosses’ instructions, your attention started to become divided because you remember what she told you, but then you also see that there might be a slim possibility that something could workout. So one kind of goes back and forth, knowing that the decision he or she is making is wrong and could blow up in their face, but they do it anyway. I think this is because in the past, the individual knew a relationship would not workout, and ended it soon to prevent investing too much feeling. However, when reflecting on past relationships, one often wonders, “Did I try hard enough?” Chances are you did, but some things are simply not meant to be, so one’s subconscious allows the same pattern from the past to play out to prove to you that no matter how hard I try or how nice you are, some things are just not meant to be. It is basically a learning process.

Before one can move on, he or she needs to know for sure that no matter what, this time won’t be different. Also, pay attention to how you meet these people and notice how similar they are. For some reason, they are drawn to you, and they know personal information about you, they used this information to make a way into your life so they can manipulate you. However, it is your entire fault because you allowed it. You were warned, and have had experiences like that in the past. The other party is not at fault because you took it there. All they are doing is sending you subtle messages, and because you are looking for something, you read way too far into them, and try to make something out of nothing.

Now, when the other party gets what they want out of you, they back off, and so you also have to do the same. Look at the messages you are sending that other party, how many times did he or she reply? Maybe once or twice directly, but you are reading these subtle messages and they know they are getting you hooked, when you back off, they start bringing up more information to pull you back in. These people do not care about you, they like to play games and see what they can get out of you, and some just want to see you suffer. Perhaps in the future, ask to be introduced to someone, or break the cycle, and find someone you like.

Until you get a backbone and the courage to go after what you want, you will attract the wrong kind of person because you are giving off a desperate type of energy and they sense that. Just be more confident, realize that you are attractive and worthy, and when someone, who truly cares about you, tells you to not do something, listen! It is like being at a cocktail party; you are all caught up and excited, but look at the environment. You know better, and the cycle should be broken. If anyone wants your attention in the future, make them earn it and be glad you have not gone to bed with these people thinking it would workout.” Apply your heart to instruction, and your ears to words of knowledge. -Proverbs 23:12

2 Peter 3:9 What Does Your Heaven Look Like?

Arm yourself, my dear child, for the worst; and resolve to lose your life sooner than your virtue. There is a common misconception that Earth is the Devil’s World, but we need to clear that up. Genesis 1:1 reports, Earth was created by God, it is a place of beauty and harmony. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Therefore, how this could be the Devil’s World? The Devil did not create it. I do not even think the Devil really exists. Maybe the Devil is really just dark energy that humans have manifested? Maybe this concept of the Devil is floating around as a test, to see who can see the truth? Perhaps God wanted to see if humans could take accountability for their own actions, and that is why the is this myth about the Devil. 2 Tim 1.7 reports, for the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power love and self-discipline. Those who choose to believe the Devil and worship the Devil’s words will burn in hell right alongside him. John 8.44 reports, you belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

You see, the Devil is the father of lies, these lies come from inside of bad people, therefore, lies and darkness is their father. Because humans choose to worship lies, lies have become the ruler of this World. -2 Corinthians 4:4 reports, the god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. Earth is an experiment, and many of you are failing, as you defend your father and his native langue of lies, but ignore the truth and light of God. Sure, in your minds, this is the Devil’s World because that is your social construction of reality. However, for those who believe in God, we know that this is God’s World and he will redeem those who are doing things that are pleasing to him. You can run to that church everyday, but it does not mean you will be saved, actions speak louder than words and many of you are foul. John 15.19 reports, I have chosen you out of the World. Because of this, the World hates you. This World is so full of corruption and lies that they hate the light, they hate those who use honest means to succeed. Just remember, as Matthew 13.11 reports, you have been given knowledge of the secrets of heaven’s kingdom. So keep your faith and know that God will deliver us, and we will have peace, love, abundance, and happiness, only! Just know that there are demons walking the Earth, not all are bad, but many are taking the shape of humans. Your friends could be possessed by demons, have you noticed how evil they have become?

James 2.19 reports, you say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. Now, in European mythology, there is a myth about demons, and not all of them are bad, some of them are here to help God and humanity. Basically a demon is a beast, who got lost or did a lot of wrong and was sent to another plane to pay for their sins, maybe purgatory? But they suffer so much that they start to look like monsters, and when they come back to this plane, they do influence weak humans. In European myth, there are Queller demons. Queller demons were an extraterrestrial demon species that, oddly enough, dwelled within certain meteors. They were summoned to eliminate the insane, particularly in Middle Ages Europe. As you can see, the World is going mad. In America, 100 colleges are under federal investigation for mishandling sexual assaults. Furthermore, there is a violent crime every 22 seconds, property crime every 3 seconds, a murder about every 33 minutes, forcible rape about every 5.8 minutes, robber every 1.2 minutes, aggravated assault every 35 seconds, burglary every 14.9 seconds, larceny-Theft every 4.5 seconds, motor vehicles theft every 26 seconds. We need the National Security Agency to stop this crime and to save lives. This is not how God intended us to live. God has promised to restore paradise. Revelations 21.3-4 reports, the faithful and righteous will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

The only reason God is allowing this to play out because he wants everyone to see these humans are the problem, it is not the Devil, it is not God. It is people, they are the makers of their own hell. 2 Peter 3.9 reports, the Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. So just know that all of this suffering will pass, and we will be saved. There is going to come a time when God’s will is going to be fully carried out and those evil will seek death, but they will not find it. Revelation 6:16-17 reports, the wicked called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the innocent! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?” The good of heart will be saved. I like solitude. It is when you truly hear and speak your natural, unadulterated mind, and out comes your most stupid self as well as your most intelligent self. It is when you realize who you are and the extents of the good and the evils which you are capable of.

A Missing Appreciation of the Good

Never encourage beggars. America has been a country since 1619, which is 394 years. The American Revolution (1775-1783) ascended from growing tensions between residents of Great Britain’s 13 North American colonies and the colonial government, which represented the British crown, but was stationed in America. Citizen felt like they were being taxed and not represented by the government, so they revolted. During the American Revolution, American citizens were passionate about politics because the stakes, the survival of the New Nation, were so high. American government and politics are facing growing national skepticism about job performance at majority of the levels of the government, in modern times. People cannot fully understand the issues, and policy decisions facing the U.S. government, its constituent states or the citizens unless these issues are examined, in depth, and you also need to be able to understand how policies have evolved over time. You need to understand the role of political parties, in the United States, to understand why the U.S. Constitution and the Framers’ fears of factionalism (pack mentality), and how to realign the system when these parties are identified. Americans and people Worldwide need to understand how the American government works today, it is also important to understand your history, which is one of the most important classes in the World. History may be more important than religion and is something you should be taught from a young age. People need to be engaged in critical thinking, and parents need to learn to foster interest in important issues, you need to inspire your children’s participation, in the martial, they learn in class. Education is the modern form of religion.

All Americans need to understand the political processes institutions, and policies of American government. The American system is set up so that everyone can be independent, but it also encourages people to become couples, a feature designed to encourage visual literacy and attractiveness. Much of the American system is modeled on Britain. The American government has been a part of your life, from day one, and you say you do not trust them, but you send your children to government institutions, from the time they are 4-22. These Children general spend 8 hours a day and 5 to 6 days a week, at school. The government provides you children with free education, books, food, water, juice, milk and safe places for recreation, which keeps you children off the streets, out of trouble, alive and out of jail. The schools also double as day care centers, by providing students with teacher who love them and care about their progress, walfare and development. Personal liberty is perhaps the single most important characteristic of American capitalism. The Constitution was written to assure life and liberty. Liberty has evolved to mean freedom. The Construction is constructed to limit government infringements on freedom of religion and speech, from unreasonable search and seizure. The Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution implements equal protection of the laws and subsequent passage of the laws guaranteeing human rights. Americans are also able to go to work and school free from discrimination. The U.S. government has used a variety of initiatives to train people how to act and have provided grounds for them to have a basic education so that they can participate in the political system, so they are not in shackles like the original Americans.

Just as the ethnic composition of the American population has changes, so has the average age of the population. Family size and household arrangements have also changed. Large families were normal, during the Victorian ages, children were the source of cheap labor, and most Americans were farmers and manufactures. Now children are in schools, instead of working on the farm. The government also helps your children make friends, at school, which reduces the need to have more than one or two children. That limits your responsibility and liability. Industrialization and knowledge of birth control methods is very important for women because there is no limit of how far they can go, they have the power to control their bodies. Conservatisms is the political ideology of Americans. America is a country that likes to defend the ethical aspects of our culture, institutions, and practices. The American system likes to see people go to school, college, and get a job so that they can become an involved parent and citizen. Those are the kind of success stories that the nation is built on. However, Americans have come to expect far too much from the national government and must simply readjust their expectations. Your basic needs are met, there is no sewage in the streets, you are reasonably safe from crimes, and the air and water are clean, and you have shelter, food and medical supplies. Could these people be working to turn you against a system that loves you? The problem is not the America system, it is these people, who are unwilling to take responsibility, act civil and get to work. In the end, the overriding factor in whether or not you realize your dreams is going to be you. Not the world.

Paradise Canyon–How the Earth Began

Many of us assume, almost without question, that we can trust in reality of what we see. The religions of ancient Greece and Rome are extinct. The so-called divinities of Olympus have not a single worshipper among the living (none that we know of). However, in theology and literature and taste, the gods of the ancient World still hold their place, and will continue to hold it, for they are too closely connected with the finest productions of poetry and art, both ancient and modern, to pass into oblivion. The Greeks also perfected the sculptural art of relief as a means to decorate and embellish the beauty of their great architectural achievements. We propose to tell the stories relating to them which have come down to us from the ancients and which are alluded to by modern poets, essayists, and orators. The Dawn, the Sun, and the Moon were supposed to rise out of the Ocean, on the eastern side, and to drive through the air, giving light to gods and humans. The stars also, except those forming the Wain of Bear, and others near them, rose out of and sank into the stream of the Ocean. There, the sun-god (Ra or Helios) embarked in a winged boat, which conveyed him around by the northern part of the Earth, back to his place of rising in the east.

These stories are fascinating, and I would like to believe they are true. That may sound a little unusual, but my vision of space and time may be different than most. I think that Earth is much like a carriage, which over time evolved into a powerful car. So it is possible that there were many gods on Earth, and they did all of these things, but as time went by and technology changed, so did the Earth, but for your sake, these are just myths and nice stories. The creation of the World is a problem naturally fitted to excite the liveliest interest in people, its inhabitants. The ancient pagans, not having the information on the subject, which we derive from the pages of Bible Scriptures, had their own way of reporting the story. Before Earth, and Sea, and Heaven were created, all things wore one aspect, to which we give the name of Chaos—a confused and shapeless mass, nothing but dead weight, in which, however, slumbered the seeds of things. Earth, Sea, and Air were all missed up together; so the Earth was not solid, the sea was not fluid, and the air was not transparent. God and Nature at last interposed and put an end to this discord, separating Earth from Sea, and Heaven from both. The fiery part, being the lightest, sprang up and formed the skies; the air was next in weight and place. The Earth, being heavier, sank below, and the water took the lowest place, and buoyed up the Earth.

Here, some god—it is not known which—gave his good offices in arranging and disposing the Earth. He appointed rivers and bays their places, raised mountains like the Sierra in Tahoe, scooped out valleys like Sacramento and San Jose, distributed woods which appears similar to Yosemite in California, and fountains akin to those of Grand Cascade in Peterhof near Saint-Petersburg, fertile farms not so much like Knott’s Berry Farm, but more similar to Harris Farms, and stony plains, which resemble the Grand Canyon. The air being cleared, the stars began to appear, fishes took possession of the sea, birds of the air, and four-footed beast on land, although some animals are bipedal humanoids. However, a nobler animal was wanted, and modern humans, also known as homo sapiens were made. It is unknown whether the Creator made him of divine materials, or whether in the Earth, so lately separated from Heavenly seeds. Prometheus took some of this Earth, and kneading it up with water, made man in the image of the gods. He gave him an upright stature, so that while all other animals turn their faces downward and look to the Earth, he raises his to Heaven and gazes on the stars.

Prometheus was one of the Titans, a gigantic race, who inhabited the Earth, before the creation of man. To him and his brother Epimetheus was committed the office of making man, and providing him and all other animals with the faculties necessary for their preservation. Epimetheus undertook to do this, and Prometheus was to overlook his work, when it was done. Epimetheus accordingly proceeded to bestow upon the different animals the various gifts of courage, strength, swiftness, sagacity; wings to one, claws to another, a shelly covering to a third, excreta. However, when man came to be provided for, who was to be superior to all other animals, Epimetheus had been so prodigal of his resources that he had nothing left to bestow upon him. In his perplexity he resorted to his brother Prometheus, who, with the aid of Minerva, went up to heaven, and lighted his torch at the Chariot of the Sun, and brought down fire to man. With this gift, man was more than a match for all other animals. It enabled him to make weapons wherewith to subdue them; tools with which to cultivate the Earth; to warm his dwelling, so as to be comparatively independent of climate; and finally, to introduce the arts and to coin money, the means of trade and commerce.

Woman was not yet made. The story is that Jupiter made her and sent her to Prometheus and his brother, to punish them from their presumption in stealing fire from heaven’ and man, for accepting the gift. The first woman was named Pandora. She was made in Heaven, every god contributing something to perfect her. Venus gave her beauty, Mercury persuasion, Apollo music, and it was said that Pandora would sometimes have white hair and at other times, it was jet black. Thus equipped, she was conveyed to Earth and presented to Epimetheus, who gladly accepted her, though cautioned by his brother to beware of Jupiter and his gifts. Epimetheus had in his house a jar, in which were kept certain noxious articles, for which, in fitting man for his new abode, he had had no occasion. Pandora was seized with an eager curiosity to know what this jar contained; and one day she slipped off the cover and looked in. Forthwith there escaped a multitude of plagues for hapless man—such as gout, rheumatism, and colic for his body, and envy, spite and revenge for his mind—and scattered themselves far and wide. Pandora hastened to replace the lid; however, alas! The whole contents of the jar had escaped, one thing only excepted, which lay at the bottom, and that was hope. So we see to this day, whatever evils are abroad, hope never entirely leaves us; and while we have that, no number of other ills can make us completely wretched. Another story is that Pandora was sent in good faith, by Jupiter, to bless man; that she was furnished with a box, containing her marriage blessing. She opened the box incautiously, and the blessing all escaped, hope only excepted.

The World being thus furnished with inhabitants, the first age was an age of innocence and happiness, called the Golden Age. Truth and right prevailed, though not enforced by law, nor was there any magistrate to threaten to punish. The forest had not yet been robbed of its trees to furnish timbers for vessels, nor had men-built fortification round their towns. There were no such things as swords, spears, or helmets. The Earth brought forth all things necessary for man, without his labor in ploughing or sowing. Perpetual Spring reigned, flowers sprang up without seed, the rivers flowed with milk and wine, and yellow honey distilled from the oaks. Then succeeded the Silver Age, inferior to the Golden, but better than that of Brass. Jupiter shorted the Spring and divided the year into seasons. Then, first, men had to endure the extremes of heat and cold, and houses became necessary. Caves were the first dwellings, and leafy coverts of the woods, and huts woven of twigs (switches). Crops would no longer grow without planting. The farmer was obliged to sow the seed, and the toiling ox to draw the plough. Next came the Brazen Age, more savage of temper and readier to the strife of arms yet not altogether wicked. The hardest and worst was the Iron Age. Crime burst in like a flash flood; modesty, truth, and honor fled. In their places came fraud and cunning, violence, and the wicked love of gain. Then seamen spread sails to the wind, and the trees were torn from the mountains to serve for keels to ships, and vex the face of Ocean. The Earth, which till now had been cultivated in common, began to be divided off into possessions.

Men, however, were not satisfied with what the surface could produce, but must dig into its bowels, and draw forth from thence the ores of metals. Mischievous iron, and more mischievous gold, was produced. War sprang up, using both as weapons; the guest was not safe in his friend’s house; and sons-in-law and fathers-in-law, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives could not trust one another. Sons whisked their fathers dead, that they might come to the inheritance; family love lay prostrate, it seemed that all were doomed; Earth was wet with slaughter, and the gods abandoned it, one by one, till Astraea (the goddess of innocence and purity) alone was left, and finally also took her departure. After leaving Earth, Astraea was placed among the stars, where she became the constellation Virgo-the Virgin. This is the same thing people with high incomes do when neighborhoods fall victim to savages, they leave them behind and let them decay. Jupiter, seeing this state of things, burned with anger. He summoned the gods to council. They obeyed the call and took the road to the palace of Heaven. He summoned the gods to council. The road, which any one may see in a clear night, stretches across the face of the sky and is called the Milky Way (a galaxy, not candy bar). Along the road stand the places of the illustrious gods; the common people of the skies live apart, on either side. Jupiter addressed the assembly. He set forth on the frightful condition of things on Earth and closed by announcing this intention to destroy the whole if its inhabitants, and provide a new race, unlike the first, who would be more worthy of life and much better worshippers of the gods.

So saying he took a thunderbolt, and was about to launch it at the World, and destroy it by burning; but recollecting the danger that such a conflagration might set heaven itself on fire, he changed his plan and resolved to drown it. The north wind, which scatters the clouds, was chained up; the south was sent out, and soon covered all the face of Heaven with a cloak of pitchy darkness. The clouds, driven together, resound with a crash; torrents of rain fall; the crops are laid low; the year’s labor of husbandman perishes in an hour. However, Jupiter, not satisfied with his own waters, calls on his brother Neptune to aid him with the flood. Neptune lets loose the rivers and pours them over the land. At the same time, he heaves the land with an earthquake, much stronger then the magnitude 6.0, which cost Napa, California $1 Billion in damages, and brings in the reflux of the ocean over the shores. Flocks, herds, men and houses are swept away, and temples, with their sacred enclosures, profaned. If any edifice remained standing, it was overwhelmed, and its turrets lay hid beneath the waves. Now all was sea, sea without shore. This was much more devastating than 2011 Tsunami, in Japan, which was triggered by a magnitude 9.0 earthquake, as the waves engulfed the planet. (To digress for a moment, hundreds of U.S. sailors, who took part in rescue efforts, following Japan’s earthquake and tsunami, were exposed to dangerous levels of radiation, and have filed a class action lawsuit against the Tokyo Electric Power Company, and the federal judge has ruled it can go forward. ) Here and there, an individual remained on a projecting hilltop, and a few, in boats, pulled the oar where they had lately driven the plough. The fishes swim among the treetops; the anchor is let down into a garden. Where the graceful lamps played but now unwieldy sea calves gambol.

The wolf swims among the sheep, the yellow lions and tigers struggle in the water. The strength of the wild boar serves him not, nor his swiftness the stag. The birds fall with weary wing into the water, having found no land for resting place. These living beings whom the water spared fell a prey to hunger. Parnassus, a Greek god, alone, of all the mountains, overtopped the waves; and there Decalion, and his wife Pyrrha, of the race of Prometheus, found refuge—he a just man, and she a faithful worshipper of the gods. Jupiter, when he saw none left alive but this pair, and remembered their harmless lives and pious demeanor, ordered the north winds to drive away the clouds, and disclose the skies to Earth, and Earth to the skies. Neptune also directed Triton to blow on his shell and sound a retreat to the waters. The waters obeyed, and the sea returned to its shores, and the rivers to their channels. Then Deucalion thus addressed Pyrrha: “Oh, wife, only surviving woman, joined to me first by the ties of kindred and marriage, and now by a common danger, would that we possessed the power of our ancestor Prometheus, and could renew the race as he first made it; however, as we cannot, let us seek younder temple, and inquire of the gods what remains for us to do.” Deucalion and Pyrrha entered them temple, deformed as it were with slime, and approached the alter, where no fire burned. There they fell prostrate on Earth and prayed the goddess to inform them how they might retrieve their miserable affairs.

The oracle answered, “Depart from the temple with head veiled and garments unbound, and cast behind you the bones of your mother.” They heard the words with astonishment. Pyrrha first broke silence: “We cannot obey; we dare not profane the remains of our parents.” Deucalion and Pyrrha sought the thickest shades of the wood, and revolved the oracle in their minds. At length, Deucalion spoke: “Either my sagacity deceives me, or the command is one we may obey without impiety. The Earth is the great parent of us; and I think this is what the oracle means. At least, it will do no harm to try.” They veiled their faces, unbound their garments, and picked up stones, and cast them behind. The stones (wonderful to relate) began to grow soft, and assume shape. By degrees, they put on a rude resemblance to human form, like a block half-finished in the hands of the sculptor. The moisture and slime that were about them became flesh; the stony part became bones; the veins remained veins, retaining their name, only changing their use. Those thrown by the hand of the man became men, and those by the woman became women. It was a hard race, and well adapted to labor, as we find ourselves to be at this day, giving plain indications of our origin.
(The comparison of Eve to Pandora is too obvious. Lovelier than Pandora, whom the gods Endowed with all their gifts; and O, too like in sad event, when to the unwise son of Japhet brought by Hermes, she ensnared mankind with her fair looks, to be avenged on him who had stile Jove’s authentic fire.) Prometheus and Epimetheus were sons of Japhet. Prometheus has been a favorite subject with the poets. He is represented as the friend of mankind, who interposed in their behalf when Jove was increased against them and who taught them civilization and the arts. However, in so doing, he transgressed the will of Jupiter, he drew down on himself the anger of the ruler of gods and men. Jupiter had him chained to a rock on Mount Caucasus, where a vulture preyed on his liver, which was renewed as fast as devoured. This state of torment might have been brought to an end at any time by Prometheus, if he had been willing to submit to his oppressor; for he possessed a secret which involved the stability of Jove’s throne, and if he would have revealed it, that he disdained to do. He has therefore become the symbol of magnanimous endurance of unmerited suffering, and strength of will resisting oppression. The slime with which the Earth was covered by the waters of the flood produced an excessive fertility, which called forth every variety of production, good and bad. Among the rest, Python, an enormous serpent, crept forth, the terror of the people, and lurked in the caves of Mount Parnassus. Looking for idol hands to possess, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 Peter 5:8.

Reconstructing of Sacramento: Sailor Ashore
Writers—like managing directors, floorwalkers, clerks, bricklayers, and everyone else—usually have personal political conversations. The difference is to be found in vehemence about one’s political objectives. Many of you remember those stories, not for propaganda content, but for their delicacy of phrase, their pathos, their subtle comedy, and their human warmth.
One sunny October morning, I was taking a drive, with my party, along the banks of the Sacramento River, in Sacramento, California, and conversing on the condition of the country with a gentleman who thought the political prospect less bright than the landscape. I had been less than three weeks in the country, and was in a state of something like awe at the prevalence of, not only external competence, but intellectual ability. Many of the middle class describe the people, in Midtown Sacramento, California as, “Gaunt and ragged, ungainly, stooping and clumsy in build. They come up puny, grow puny, and mature puny.”
Many of these savage human animals are even less productive than minority groups. Some of these bigots fled to low paying jobs in Sacramento, California, USA because they were rejected in their home towns and had done a lot of bad things. The move west had a dark side as these bigots clashed with the peaceful population, in their drive to fulfill their dream of raising the Devil to turn Earth into his paradise.

The striking effect upon a stranger witnessing, for the first time, the absence of poverty, of gross ignorance, of all servility, of all insolence of manner, cannot be exaggerated in description. I had witnessed the controversies between candidates for office on some difficult subjects, of which the people were to be the judges. With all these things in my mind, and with every evidence of prosperity about me in the comfortable homesteads which every turn in the road, and every reach of the river, brought into view, I was thrown into a painful amazement by being told that the ground question of the time was, whether the people should be encouraged to govern themselves, or whether the wise should save them from themselves.
The confusion of the inconsistencies was here so great as to defy argument; the patronage among equals that was implied; the assumptions as to who were the wise; and the conclusion that all the rest must be foolish. This one sentence seemed to be the most extraordinary combination that could proceed from the lips of republican…one of the most painful apprehensions seems to be that the poorer will heavily tax the richer members of society—mentally, physically, and emotional and financially.
However, the danger appears much diminished on the considerations that, in the country under our notice, there are not, nor are likely to be, the wide differences in property which exist in old countries. There is no class of hereditary rich or poor. Few are very wealthy; few are poor; and every man has a fair chance of being rich, and that is why the savage unsophisticated humans fight so hard with racism and physical violence to keep others down. They would rather be equal as slaves, than unequal in freedom. However, no such unequal taxation is so very small as in the United States of America, and the interest that everyone has in the protection of property is good. The question is, which succeeds. In the United States of America, the prospect is that each will succeed.
Paupers may obtain what they want, and proprietors will keep that which they have. Still, one actually felt relief to see the police, fire department, and peaceful humans, when in Middle Town Sacramento, California. Yet, typically, the vibe is very bad in this area; it feels like at any minute, one of the deranged subhumans may try to lynch one. The Bible commands humans, “Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Take this challenge seriously. Eventually, a perfected millennial era of 1,000 years of peace, harmony, and Christian brotherhood on Earth would being the second arrival of God. The perfectionist thrust in religion chosen by God to reform the entire World. Religious commitment fused with patriotic duty. The motivating impulse to reform in the 1830s, then, had many deep-rooted causes.
Some believed in the romantic idea that natural goodness of human nature would overtake their will and they would want to be good people; the social activist tendencies in Whig political ideology; anxiety over shifting class relationships and the need to achieve some control over one’s life as a result of the socioeconomic changes of recent years; family influence and the desire of young people to choose careers of principled service; and the direct influence of these essays. I have tried to rely on education, on the moral suasion of sermons, tracts, literature, argument, and personal testimony. We face the difficult challenge of making sure that their own attitudes and actions are thoroughly consistent with the principles of behavior they would urge on others, rebuke Satan and all of your evil ways.
These reporters, at CBS13, and strange whites in Middle Town Sacramento like to fill the lives of reformers with turmoil, so they give up and let hell on Earth unfold. Advocates of change in the status quo experience enormous pressures, recriminations, and economic or physical persecution from the majority. As Marius and Emily Robinson understood, promoting change has its costs. What is more, reformers invariably do not agree on appropriate ideology and tactics, so they end up quarreling with one another as well as with representatives of the established order they wish to change. Although the Sacramento reformers suffer pressure to conform and cease questioning things, their duty to themselves, their society, and their God sustains their commitment. Why should a mark be set upon those whom history has condemned unrighteously?
One way to redeem a flawed society, one that seems to be losing the cohesion and traditional values of small community life, is to create miniature utopian societies, and that was the point of communities like Greenhaven, Pocket and Meadowview, North Laguna and Valley High, Elk Grove, Roseville, Oak Park, Antelope, Granite Bay and so forth. These communities would offer alternatives to a World Characterized by factories, foreigners, flawed morals and greedy entrepreneur ship. The word of God and the Bible is the act of the final conversation and can led to absolute perfection and complete release from sin. However, when you give your life over to God, your happiness will surely be tested. Joe Mathews joined the church and gave his life over to God, and in 2007, a woman he loved rejected both his doctrine and his marriage offer.
Despondent, Joe Mathews reported, “When the will of God is done on Earth, as it is in Heaven, there will be no more marriage. Among those who are prefect, all men and women belonged equally to each other. Complete sharing in family relationships is a step toward perfect cooperation, as was shared wealthy in socioeconomic relationships. Joe Mathews recovered from his unhappy love affair and married a loyal follower.
When she delivered four stillborn children, within six years, Joe Mathews revised even further his unconventional ideas about sex. Sexual life, at the commune, was subject to many regulations, including sexual restraint and male continence, except under carefully prescribed conditions. Through creating considerable tension, these unorthodox sexual and social rules gave the people a sense of uniqueness. Wise economic decisions also abound community members in mutual prosperity. Forsaking the nostalgic agricultural emphasis that typified most other communes, many citizen opted for modern manufacturing.
In a system of planned reproduction, only certain spiritually advanced males were allowed to father children. Other controversial practices included communal child rearing, sexual equality in work, the removal of the competitive spirit from both work and play, and an elaborate program of mutual criticism at community meetings presided over by Mayor Kevin Johnson.
There is a notice of preparation of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and scoping meeting for the 2025 L Street and 2101 Capitol Avenue Mixed-use project, city of Sacramento, California on Wednesday, 10 December 2014, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, at the lobby of the Sacramento City Hall, at 915 I Street, Sacramento, California 95814. Trustee and responsible agencies, as well as member of the public are invited to attend and provide input on the scope of the EIR. You are advised to get to the meeting early, be relaxed, dress professionally and speak to each other with respect and honor. Written comments regarding relevant issues may be submitted at the meeting.
The proposed project consists of two new buildings that would be constructed in Middle Town Sacramento, at the following locations: 2025 L Street: An existing above-ground, two story parking garage and adjacent two story building, at this location would be demolished, and a new six story mixed-use building would be constructed. The new building would house an approximately 40,000 square-foot Whole Foods Market, on the ground floor, and customer parking on the second and third floors, in addition, to approximately 141 apartments with amenities. While I think this project should be constructed, my concern is that we already have two Grocery stores, within a 1 mile radius of this proposed Whole Foods Market, and in a five mile radius, there are three grocery stores. My concern is the established stores would lose customers, would have to lay off employees with seniority, and this would create too much competition. Overall, I think the project is a great idea, as long as the architecture is similar to the tone of the area, but maybe with another anchor tenant besides Whole Foods Market.
As for the 2101 Capitol Avenue Project: This project component would be located on the northeast corner of 21st Street and Capitol Avenue. There was a Victorian home on the location, but it was demolished in 2013. There is now an existing ground-level parking structure, which will be replaced with a six-level parking structure. The structure would include approximately 13,000 square feet of retail and commercial space, on the ground floor. The existing restaurant, currently occupied by “Kupros Craft House,” will remain in its current location. I think the development sounds like a great idea, as long as there are no redundant businesses proposed to take away sales from current businesses. These stores would need to be unique. This project should also mimic other projects already in the area.
