Basic Ingredients for a Healthy Parent and Child Relationship

It is hard work to control the workings of inclination, and turn the bent of nature: but it may be done. Self-esteem refers to regarding oneself as a worthwhile person, someone who is valued, loved, accepted and appreciated. High regard for one’s own body, mind, and life is essential for emotional health. Conversely, individuals with low self-esteem place a low value on themselves as people. Low self-esteem is often times related to physical abuse or punishment or withholding of love. High self-esteem, in contrast, is related to management techniques, of children, that emphasize clear and consistent discipline, coupled with high parental interest and concern for the child. Research indicates that it is best for parents to minimize physical punishment and to avoid unnecessary withdrawal of love. Children who feel that their parents support them emotionally, tend to have high self-value, and do better in school. Consistency: Discipline should give children the freedom to express their deepest feelings through speech and actions. However, this does not mean the child has the freedom to do entirely as one pleases. It means that the child can move freely, within well-defined guidelines, for acceptable behavior. Of course, individual parents may choose limits that are stricter or less strict. However, consistency in parenting is the key to raising a child; as a parent, maintaining stable rules of conduct is very important to child development.

Inconsistency makes the child’s World seem unpredictable and produces anxiety and fear. Here are some common mistakes you may want to avoid. Do not confuse your children by saying one thing and doing something else. You tell the child, “Bart, if you do not eat your Brussels sprouts, you cannot have any dessert.” Then you feel guilty and offer him some dessert. This will create conflict in the mind of a child, and they will think they can manipulate you, or that you are not too smart. Avoid making statements you do not mean. For example, you child is extremely rambunctious, he ate too much sugar and is talking loudly and getting on your nerves. Your response by saying, “If you do not quiet down, I am going to stop the car and beat the living daylights out of you!” Chances are this is an empty threat, and you are extremely annoyed. So, you may want to tell the child to please quiet down, or there will be consequences for his behavior. Furthermore, consider not overstating consequences. You notice your flower bed has been rearranged, and it upsets you. You find your son and say, “Look what you did to the flower bed. You cannot ever ride your bike again.” First of all, are you sure he tampered the flower bed? Ask him, and make sure he is comfortable telling you the truth. If he did, the ask him to please stay out of your flowers, you work hard to keep your garden looking nice.

Never change no to yes. If Bart wants a toy and you cannot afford it or do not want to buy it, but he keeps nagging you, then telling him, “Right now is not a good time, son. Do not dispute my authority.” Also, sometimes when you ask a child to do something, they will not. Sometimes it is because they are being defiant, forget, or do not know what to do. Therefore, always make you check to see something you have asked your child to do has been completed. This was, he does not think he can get away with being slick and insidious, or forgetful. In addition, do not negate rules that your spouse has set. Parents need to agree on child discipline, and not undermine each other’s efforts. If you go against what your husband said, this may create confusion and could lead to you and your child getting in trouble. Supposed your husband told you son to stay home because your neighbors are drug dealers and smoke weed with their children. You had no idea that your husband told Bart to stay inside, and told Bart he could go play with them because you assumed your husband was being racist. Bart may or may not have been manipulating you, but always make sure you check with your spouse about rules that they have laid out, even if they seem unfair to you. Your son may have forgot that he could not hang out with his new friends because you are always asking him to forgive people, so he may push things in the back of his head, so he is not walking around angry.

Unresolved issues are not always easy to deal with. In other situations, when your child is actually acting up, never respond differently to the same misbehavior. You told Bart he could only go to the park and play. However, you noticed that Bart is not at the park, but instead he is walking around somewhere alone, admiring the buildings and landscape. Instead of punishing him, you may want to ask why he did this? Could be that Bart is bored or having issues in the park you allowed him to play in? Get to the core of the problem, do not pretend everything is perfect. Maybe he is lonely, or needs something new to do? So, punishment is not always the solution. Sometimes honest communication is the best response. Random discipline makes children feel angry and confused because they cannot control the consequences of their own behavior. Inconsistency also gives children the message: “Do not believe what I say because I usually do not mean it.” You never want to come off to a good child as if you do not care, this could cause them to turn into a rogue (a bad person who does as they please). Guidelines for Parents: Effective parents use each of the three major types of discipline, at one time or another, and each has its place. Physical punishment and withdrawal of love should be used with caution. Parents should separate disapproval of the act from disapproval of the child. Instead of saying, “I am going to punish you because you are bad,” instead trying rephrasing that as, “I am upset about what you did.” Then ask your child why they did this behavior you find unacceptable so they can know that they are able to be honest with you.

State specifically what misbehavior you are punishing. Explain why you have set limits on this kind of conduct. Punishment should never be harsh or injurious (distressing) to a child. You do not want to tell your child you will kick them out of the house and send them to a death camp, every day of their life, when you cannot figure out what they are doing. This could stress a child out and some children have been known to respond to threats by running away or committing suicide. Children have unusual ways of dealing with stress and normal life conflicts, so you never want to make them feel like their life is constantly in danger. Try not to physically punish a child while you are angry. Some people get angry and choke their children or push them to the floor and say, “Oh, it was not that hard.” This will confuse a child and make them feel depressed and unloved. You could also lose your child by abusing them. Also, remember, that giving the child the message, “I do not love you right now” can be more painful and damaging than any spanking. Yet, you never want to take physical vengeance out on a good kid because you are upset at the moment. However, punishment is most effect when it is administered immediately. This statement is especially true for younger children. Tell them what they did wrong, how to make it better, and what the consequences are for their inappropriate actions.

Nonetheless, spanking and other forms of physical punishment are not particularly effective for children under age 2. The child will only be confused and frightened because they cannot really speak and live based on emotions. Unlike bad adults, children sometimes are simply learning right from wrong, they are not evil and corrupt. So make sure you talk to them and teach them the right ways to behave. In addition, spanking also becomes less effective, after age 5, because it tends to humiliate the child and breeds resentment, frustration, and anger. It may not be a good idea to physically spank a young child, at all. However, once a child knows right from wrong, you may want to spank them, but realize that it could be considered child abuse, depending on your county or state. Many psychologists believe that children should never be physically punished. If you do choose to use physical punishment, reserve the physical punishment for situations that pose an immediate danger to the younger child; for example, when a child runs into the street, or if they assault someone. *Remember, too, that it is usually more effective to reinforce children when they are being good than it is to punish them for misbehavior. If you kid is doing their homework, cleaning the house, and eating their dinner, and acting good, be sure to give them a treat. Sometimes a couple of extra dollars or ice cream or new shoes is nice. Effective Parenting: There are four basic ingredients for a healthy parent and child relationship. One has to show mutual respect for their child. Try to avoid hitting, nagging, debating, and talking down to children. You are the boss, once you speak, that is the end of story. You do not need to keep telling a child the same thing over and over. They should know it is their responsibility to obey.

Also avoid doing things for your son or daughter that these children can do for themselves. Bart knows how to write his own book reports, he may struggle, but he can ask for help. However, he needs to do them himself so his mind can grown and become more knowledgeable. If you constantly strip you child of opportunities to learn and take responsibility, this will prevent them from becoming independent and from developing high self-esteem. One also has to share enjoyment with their child. Some time each day, effective parents spend time with their children and the parents and the child bond, trust each other and know that they are loved. Love, this goes almost without saying, but many parents assume their children know they are loved, and this is not always the case. It is important to communicate your caring by words and by actions, such as by hugging, and talking to them. Encouragement is also important. Children who receive frequent encouragement come to believe in themselves. In authoritarian households, the child’s sense of worth comes from getting rewards and avoiding punishment from powerful parents. Effective parents do not just praise their children for winning, for success, or for good behavior; they encourage their children by recognizing progress and attempts to improve. In reality, encouragement means: Valuing and accepting children, pointing out beneficial aspects of a child’s behavior. Showing faith in children; letting them try things on their own. Also, giving recognition for effort and improvement, and showing appreciation for the child’s contributions to the family.
Real Life, Real Law: The Case of the Stolen Voice
A young man called Dale was hospitalized with a bout of pneumonia and a bronchial infection. Although the doctors have answered all of the diagnosis and prognosis, Jonathan would like to review his medical chart. Is he within his legal rights?
Right to Access: In at least 20 states, you have the right to see your medical records, whether they are kept by your personal physician or by a health care facility. However, check your state’s medical records statue for any special conditions. For example, a few states allow you to access your hospital records only after you have been discharged from the hospital.
*If you live in a state that does not allow you access to your records, your doctor, dentist, or hospital staff can refuse to show them to you.
Right to Privacy: Medical records are considered private information, and both federal and state laws forbid their unauthorized release. *Even parents can be denied access to their minor children’s medical records. A person whose records have been inappropriately released may file a lawsuit against the parties that released them, seeking monetary compensation for breach of contract or for invasion of privacy.
As a patient, you have a right to confidentiality. Unless you agree to have medical information released, your doctor is not permitted to give it to anyone, even family members who may want to know about your condition. If you have a communicable disease, however, your doctor is obligated by law to notify the public health department and, in some cases, anyone close to you who might be at risk.
The issue of confidentiality is often raised when the patient is a child. Generally a parent must grant permission for medical treatment of children, because the child is not considered mature enough to make such a decision. In many states, however, teenagers are allowed to give consent for treatment involving pregnancy, drug abuse, alcoholism, or emotional problems without notifying their parents.
Depending on state law, the physician may be prohibited from discussing the patient’s condition with his parents, unless he first has the child’s consent.
Invasion of Privacy: Invasion of your privacy by private individuals or companies is tort, or civil wrong, and you can sue for any damages you suffer. In order for an action to be considered an invasion of privacy, one of the following must have occurred:
*Public disclosure of private information about you that is offensive or objectionable. If your right to privacy has been invaded, you can sue for any damages that happen to result, such as pain and suffering, lost wages, or some other misfortune.
Unreasonable intrusion into your private life is a crime. You do not have to endure people peeking in your window, taping your telephone lines, or going through your personal belongings without the legal authority to do so. If you are a private citizen, corporations cannot release any information about you to the public.
Privacy Laws: According to federal and state laws, certain kinds of invasion of privacy are criminal offenses. For example, it is a federal crime for someone to open your mail without your approval.
The Privacy Act of 1974 states that information pertaining to individuals kept by a government agency can be used only for the purpose for which it was obtained. Thus, information about you or your family that was collected by the Census Bureau can be used only by the Census Bureau and cannot be used by the IRS or anyone else.
Another federal law, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, protects the privacy of student records and requires schools to keep a record of all requests to see student’s files.
Banks, saving and loan associations, and other financial institutions must meet strict legal requirements before releasing any information about your accounts. Unless a bank is responding to a court order or subpoena, it may not dis close the amount, number, or sources of funds deposited in your accounts without your permission. However, a bank may indicate to any creditor whether you have an account there and whether there is enough money on deposit in your account to cover a check drawn against it.
Prayer
A charm must be accompanied by a strong wish on the part of the charmer that it may succeed. Children cry, but do not die, for their lumps of sugar. When they grow older, they simply have a stronger appreciation of the sugar, and make a greater noise to obtain it. Seldom do we meet sensitiveness of conscience or discriminating reflection as the indigenous growth of a very vigorous physical development.
Human beings are in all cases the creatures of predicament. They are involuntary agents in the grand drama, which leads them to their destiny. Not even the suicide expires an instant before the period marked out by his destiny. I saw the cloud, though I did not foresee the storm. Human beings are in all cases the creatures of predicament. They are involuntary agents in the grand drama, which leads them to their destiny
. Heaven is all above. The curtain of our fate is still undrawn. Truth shall prevail when it gets a chance. Among the forces which sweep and play throughout our universe, untutored man is but a wisp in the wind, our civilization is still in a middle stage, scarcely beast, in that it is no longer wholly guided by instinct; scarcely human, in that it is not yet exclusively guided by reason.
Why are they so Mean and Corrupt?

For a while, I have been trying to figure out why some people are so mean and corrupt and why they do not see anything wrong with their deviant behavior. It took me years to open my mind and do the proper research to figure out what is going on. Not everyone believes in God and some of these non-believers worship another god, they worship Satan. The rules of Satan are not all bad, many of the make sense. However, Satan teaches people it is okay to be jealous, vengeful, and liars. After dealing with an insane reporter and his klan for so many years, what is wrong with them became clear.

THE NINE SATANIC STATEMENTS
1. Satan represents indulgence, instead of abstinence!
2. Satan represents vital existence, instead of spiritual pipe dreams!
3. Satan represents undefiled wisdom, instead of hypocritical self-deceit!
4. Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it, instead of love wasted on ingrates!
5. Satan represents vengeance, instead of turning the other cheek!
6. Satan represents responsibility to the responsible, instead of concern for psychic
vampires!
7. Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than
those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his “divine spiritual and intellectual
development”, has become the most vicious animal of all!
8. Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or
emotional gratification!
9. Satan has been the best friend the church has ever had, as he has kept it in business all
these years!
For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.
The Aeon of Lucifer began 5 May 2000. The term demon is in Greek daemon, which means an influencing spirit of intelligence. Kenny is scared of life and of dying, so he imagines demons are after him. He believes they have the power to destroy him. Yes, he worships the devil. The stuff he says is in the Devil’s Bible. “I AM of my being is pure consciousness, I realize that I am God.” But what he does not tell you is what that means…. Kenny says society is evil…. “I am the universe manifest. And Lucifer, the embodiment of wisdom and enlightenment is within me. It is what the I AM of my being is.” He is saying, “I am Lucifer. I am Satan.”
Christian God is static and unchanging. The Devil is bipolar, always changing. God, in Heaven, says Earth and society is good. The Devil is evil, so he claims society as his own, he wants others to hurt. Have you noticed that Evil people are doing very well and getting away with evil? BECOMING! When Lucifer has risen, when man has become God, then it shall be known that the Aeon of Lucifer has begun.
With the Age of Enlightenment and the eventual separation of church and state, a new emotional Christianity took the place of the authoritarian Christianity. This is the Christianity we have been left with today, a religion of blind faith and superstition – intolerant of all others faiths.
Read from a “satanic” perspective, the Bible reveals itself as a history of Hebrew magicians and sorcerers. In emotional fervor many Christians would take up serpents, speak in tongues, and witness miracles performed by faith healers. Many have rejected Christianity today because of what they see as the utter ridiculousness of its ceremonies and the complete ignorance of its followers.
The Old Testament is shown to be practitioners of the Black Arts and Jesus Christ, in his stance against hypocrisy and self-righteousness, is revealed as a great Satanic Priest and Black Magician. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch out mine hand upon Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them. And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. Then the Pharaoh also called the wise men and their sorcerers.
To the inquiring mind it is clear why the Magi of Persia (the Wise Men), were the first to acknowledge the birth of Christ, for through their Magical Art and the practice of Astrology, they recognized him as a naturally born magician. That is why they follow and stalk him.
Many believe that God created the universe. However, it is actually the universe which is creating God. When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison, and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the Earth (May the fourth be with you). Satan and his people are like the sand on the seashore. They march across the breadth of the Earth and Surround the camp of God’s people, the city he loves.
Satan is a metaphor for man. The rise of Lucifer is the rise of man to his eventual destiny. When man becomes God, that means that Lucifer has risen, the dragon has awaken, the gates have been flung wide and the heavens have been conquered. By your magic spell all the nations were led astray. In her was found blood of prophets and of the saints, and of all who have been killed on the Earth.
However, Satan knows his days are short and that he and his people will be destroyed. What he hates in others is what he hates most in himself. What he fears in others is what he fears most in himself. What he loves in others is what he most wants to possess himself. How he treats his fellow man is a reflection of his true feelings towards his individual consciousness. Those who worship “God” are fools, for they deny the reality of the One which exists within them. Those who fear “God” are frightened of shadows for there is nothing beyond consciousness.
Satan’s son, the son of man, was given to the serpent from birth. The Demonic Bible possess rituals dealing with the invocation of spirits of the dead and resurrection of corpses as well as magical seals, charms, and spells have been omitted from this book in order to avoid such things being used foolishly by those who have no interest in magic beyond the acquisition of wealth and the satisfaction of vain ambitions. If you desire it the spirits will reveal to you all manner of sorcerers whereby you may attain that which you desire. The real satanist is not quite so easily recognized as such.

Reload, this is Free Love!

As the rain and the snow come down from Heaven, and do not return to it without watering the Earth and making it bloom and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sewer and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, however, will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Classic study of suicide showed that what seems to be an individualistic and highly personal act is in fact influenced by a person’s place in the social structure and can be viewed as both socially dysfunctional and functional. Insisting that suicide could be understood only through a study of overall rates, not individual suicide, there are four defined categories of suicide: egoistic, altruistic, anomic, and fatalistic. Egoistic suicide occurs in large, complex, and loosely integrated urban societies in which individuals feel they are not meaningfully integrated into a social group or into society as a whole. Despite some contradictory findings regarding the role of religion, numerous other studies of suicide have confirmed the influence of social integration, especially marriage, on differing suicide rates. Conversely, altruistic suicide, which is more characteristic of smaller rural societies or closely bonded small groups, occurs as a result of extreme social integration, when suicide may be viewed as necessary and even functional for the survival of the overall group.

Every major religion has its martyrs (sacrifices). Affection may now and then withstand very severe storms of rigor, but not a long polar frost of downright indifference. In anomic suicide, people take their lives as a result of a lack of social regulation and control. People want norms to govern and regulate their behavior so that they know what is expected of them and others. Anomie refers to a state of social strain, normative confusion, or rapid change in norms, when people’s behavior is no longer restrained by conventional norms. In times of natural disasters, war, stock market crashes, uncontrolled bullying, and other major social upheavals, suicide rates tend to increase. Fatalistic suicide happens because some people need a certain amount of autonomy and freedom from social control. If their right to privacy is violated, they feel exposed and kill themselves. Prisoner suicides, suicidal love pacts, or suicide missions, and similar circumstances where people believe they have neither freedom nor choice and that their futures are doomed are examples of fatalistic suicide. Whenever thing starts to fade, you do not have to be afraid, no you do not have to be afraid. You do not have to be afraid. Take my hand and reload, this is free love, that is what we are made of, yes, we are, are, are.
Reload, this is free love, that is what we are made of, yes, we are, yes, we are, are. Yes, we are, are, are. Once again, the kingdom of Heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake, and caught all kinds of pearls. When you want to get off the ground, but gravity pulls you down, gravity pulls you down. When you feel out of place, you do not have to be afraid; you do not have to be afraid. Take my hand and reload; this is free love, that is what we are made of. Reload, this is real love, that is what we are made of, yes, we are, are, are. That summer, we fought endlessly, always, about everything. Fusion, nothing new for you, I felt, heavy (pregnant), under and, cool breezes. The heavenly, face me, sitting in my memory. Hold me, I remember. Face me, sitting in my memory, hold me, I remember. And darkness falls in my eyes and days are far from rosy now. And if I asked for the sky, would you still shelter me when the sky falls? I remember, I remember. Face me, sitting in my memory. Hold me, I remember. Face me, sitting in my memory, hold me, I remember, I remember. Sitting in my memory, I remember, remember….

Anxiety Management–Read Between the Lines!
Our intent was to assemble six distinguished minds on a distinguished occasion and to see what would happen. Graciously, each came, spoke, and departed, and we alone enjoyed the privilege of comparison, which now becomes a wider privilege. We were able to examine the principle of judgment—commonsense grasp of moral qualities of action, in both the creation, and interpretation of mindfulness.
We sought diversity, and found it abundantly. Such indeed is the diversity of criticism itself, with its sense of historic abysses to be bridged by, myth, artistry, or scholarship; its disturbing wealth and awareness of alternatives; and not less remarkable, its self-conscious care for present value. We planned the selections so, and it was the only plan we had.
Fear and anxiety are both adaptive functions that have helped the human population to endure. We often use fear and anxiety interchangeably, but they are really two different terms. Fear is the emotion you feel when there is actually a dangerous situation about to occur. Anxiety is the emotion you feel when you anticipate a threat. The idea is to stay alive.
Hence, if one only said something old, one might still think of oneself as a refreshing rain that helps bring some flower into bloom again. As another alternative, one might aspire to be a high wind of novelty, sweeping all down before one by daring new pronouncements. Prehistorically, the human species would have never survived without this very effective alarm system.
Just like when a sensor goes off in your BMW telling you something is wrong, that is the same way anxiety works. It does not mean to keep driving the car, until it breaks down, the alarm means take it to the shop before your fears come true and you have a major problem. These codes in your car allow you to flee or fight off danger without really thinking about it.
By ignoring these codes, or your anxiety, you are abusing your predecessors and each other. A quite different kind of person, one given to hypothesis and speculation, might ask what the driver would do if they did not have a car? Public transportation is not an option for everyone.
Fear of some threats, for example, loud noises, large fires, catastrophic wind, or a lurking mentally disturbed photojournalist, seems to be a very obvious why you want to keep your car in good working condition. He had not expected this, and he took it out on me; I was a high school senior, on the way to college, and willy-nilly was held responsible for handling technology and sensitive information.
One day, he stopped me by pulling at one of the scores of buttons that adorned my uniform, pointed to my passport, and said he was going to take it, and said with positive bitterness, as if he had been betrayed, “And they call this a classic.” Now he was no prude, and not even faintly genteel; he talked and lived a lustful life. Nor was he a fool.
His business was not the fact of life, but Kenny Holmes liked to spread rumors and ruins people’s lives, it turned him on. He would spend hours on thoughts.com, under the name of wirelessguru1, calling people demons, cursing them out, swearing that he was God, and bragging about his less than impressive appendage, and claiming that this is what NBCLA allowed him to do at work.
We now interpret the evidence differently from my operator, whose vehemence scared me; but his view we recognized as ancient and persistent, and, if we ignore the difficulties of applying it, sound enough. This caused many people to work from the trenches, below the surface. I guess Kenny Holmes thought because he was allowed to torment so many, without being arrested, that he power over us.
Kenny Holmes reminds me a lot of James Holmes, ironically, they both were in Denver at the same time, one thought he was Batman, the other thought he was God, no matter what, they both destroyed lives with their implied special dimension—an intensity and imaginativeness, which converted the ordinary into the extraordinary, extract elevation from the Earth-bound itself.

Water Wars!!!!

California is having a major water problem, and many expects have seen this historic drought coming for decades, but did nothing to prepare for it. Our governor, Jerry Brown, was in office last time California had a historic drought, back in the 1970s. Currently, in 2015, there are 1 million people in California, who have no potable water. And instead of finding news sources of water, Jerry Brown hired 61 new water police to fine people anywhere from $50.00 to $10,000.00 for not reducing water consumption. Also, Jerry Brown is raising water rates. However, the problem is we need more water, and the fees and fines just make it look like Jerry Brown is doing something, when he is not. Also, the economy is bad, and people are out of work, so the fines will just hurt them. In addition, six months from now, what are we going to do because rainfall is very unlikely. Clean fresh water is arguably one of the World’s most valuable assets, but often times it is taken for granted. People look around and see all the water in the oceans and think we have an unlimited supply of water. However, that is not the case, 75 percent of the world is made up of water, but only 0.3 percent of that water is drinkable.

We typically cannot drink seawater. The fresh water we drink comes from rivers and streams. The reason we cannot drink seawater is because it has a high salt content, and that would dehydrate one’s body, and it is might also cause high blood pressure. As populations continue to grow, they demand for water is increasing greatly. The World’s water consumption is doubling every 20 years, and by 2025, the demand for water will exceed the supply of water by 56 percent. Water is very important, as we need it to wash clothes, shower, do dishes, feed livestock, and water crops. The United States uses about 346,000 million gallons of fresh water per day, and 80 percent of that is used for irrigation and the average person uses about 100 gallons of water per day. That is an incredible amount of water being used. Without clean drinkable water, people will get sick and germs will spread because they cannot be washed away, so it is important that we do not waste water. Currently 1.1 billion people lack access to clean drinking water. Some are speculating that not having enough water in the near future could lead to wars over water because water ways are shared by more than one authority and controlled by different counties. So scientists are looking for ways to combat these issues and ensure that we have enough water for everyone.

As you know, water is needed to build homes, create new businesses, raise livestock and it really improves our quality of life. It is a luxury to take a bath every day, wash your hair and prepare meals with fresh water. Most people typically feel better about themselves when they are clean. China is working to eliminate water waste by allowing farmers to control their sprinklers by mobile phone. They will be able to insure the farms are being water adequately without ever leaving the comfort of their home. Since there is so much seawater, many people wonder why we do not filter the water in the ocean so that one will be able to drink it. The process of filtering seawater and making it drinkable is called Desalination. Desalination is not a new technology, but it is expensive. As you know, 97 percent of the water in the world is in the ocean. Since that is the case, we should be able to use that water to meet our needs. Many companies like General Electric are investing in the future by creating machines that can desalinate water, at an affordable cost. There are about 12,500 desalination plants around the world, they produce about 14 million cubic meters of fresh water each day, but that is less than 1% of total consumption. Coastal states like California and Florida have been producing desalinated water for years, but it is so expensive that it has not caught on. Nonetheless, with the demand of water increasing, investors are interested in preventing disasters, and looking to make a profit, while making water affordable.

Some private investors have come up with ways to produce Desalinated seawater for $2 dollars per thousand gallons, but environmentalists are opposing the idea saying pumping high salinity wastewater back into the ocean. At some point, we have to learn to work together, and solve problems before they turn into major issues and people die. If we do not have clean water to drink, it will devastate our economy and greatly reduce the quality of life. It is important to honor the environment, but if we do not learn to properly work with the environment, this world will become a disaster. So instead of opposing ideas that will save us, like desalination of seawater, people need to come up with solutions. To further illustrate my point, unemployment in American is high, unemployment benefits have been extended to people who need them for up to two years. Opponents figure people are abusing these benefits. Instead of complaining, add an option voucher to the unemployment benefits, which will allow a person to take the voucher to an employer, get a job and gain skills. The employer will in return use that voucher to pay them employee. If they like the employee, at the end of the term, they can hire them. If not, the employee has gained skills and is an asset to the work force.

The Force of Blood
If people deny us the prerogative of being rational creatures, they give us ample liberty to range in wide precincts of folly. Even the smooth surface of family union seems worth preserving, through there may be nothing durable beneath because families are the most beautiful thing in the World, and the duty we owe a parent is sacred.
My son and daughter keep your father’s commands and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. Wise sons and daughters bring joy to his father, but a foolish man despises his mother. One that leaveth his or her own house is worthy of no house, and parents must always love the child they once loved.
Most of us have no idea what it is like to being in a World, without family, and be thankful for that. Right now, the World is in an uproar. There are volcanoes going on, Earthquakes decimating cities, leaving tens of thousands of people without mothers, fathers, and children.
And there are thousands of people rioting because of the loss of a young man, in America. What is public life without private ties? Clearly, these private ties, we like to call family, mean the World to us, or there would not be such outrage at the loss of loved ones. Your family may not be perfect, but that is all you have.
Family likeness has often a deep sadness it in. Many people have been ready to give up on their family and walk away. However, nature, that great dramatist, knits us together by bone and muscle, and divides us by the subtler web of our brains; blends yearning and repulsion; and ties us by our heartstrings to the beings that jar us at every movement.
If a kingdom be a great family, a family likewise is a little Kingdom, torn with factions and exposed to revolutions. There are people out there, who will try to tear you apart from your family, because they are jealous and want to convince you the World is full of doom and gloom and no one loves you.
However, those people are deeply hurting, even when they smile, they are really crying inside, there is something deeply wrong with those type of people, and their souls are full of darkness, they are trying to suck the light and life out of you. Your family often extends beyond those you are related to. Appreciate the love that comes your way.
Your family is also other people who love you and wish you well. Some people spend years trying to find you because they care. Never think you are better than your family and forgive them for the wrong they may commit.
None of us are perfect, and we are all growing and learning. Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land of the of your Heavenly Father, your God is giving you.

Most psychologist think that conflict, the presence of opposing elements of thought or feeling, is the cause of many types of emotional disorders. We believe that people with intelligence and concern and respect for humanity will try to prevent a society of oppression and control, so lives will not be sacrificed for the sake of the state. Each of us has a definite stake in ensuring that freedom of individual and social existence will spread and become the norm everywhere.
The machine society, especially through its exploding mass media, has confused people’s sense of reality and personal identity. Many people think all news and negative, life is a game, and that society is evil. There is a confused blur between mass media, news, drama, and live experiences. Existence has increasingly become a spectator sport.
Outside of a formal therapy situation, one way you can help yourself to fuller living is to get the strokes you need to feel human, accepted, and real. You can get significant strokes by giving them to others. If you are always doing bad things, hurting people, and lying, then yes, your reality will be evil because that is your character.
You can contribute immensely to the amount of mental health and happiness in, in the World, including yourself, by doing some fairly simple things. Notice other people. Notice how they appear to feel, what seems to turn them on, make them happy. Notice their achievements, their appearance. Show them that you notice. How? Smile. Say hello. Say, “That was a great job you did last week.” Ask, “Are you feeling tired?”

However, if you do not mean it, do not compliment people, nor do you keep asking them how they are doing, if you really do not care. Keep it short and sweet. Hi, and Good bye. Nonetheless, there is something good worth noticing about nearly everyone. And often, you can help immeasurably, to make someone feel more human, just by a simple stroke by just noticing them.
Also, notice yourself. Notice how you appear to feel, what seems to turn you on, make you happy. Try not to label your feelings good or bad, just aspects of yourself. And notice when you need help and get it. You can simply tell someone when you are feeling down by saying, “Talk to me.” Or, “I may be a little grouchy today; I need cheering up.”
The heart must appear in the book, too, as well as the learning. For though it is full of things I do not understand, every now and then there is something I do understand: that seems as if that heart spoke out to the World. Good nature gives pleasure without any allay; ease, confidence, and happy carelessness, without the pain of obligation, with the exertion of gratitude.
Purchasing Key People
There is something terribly morbid in the modern sympathy with pain. One should sympathize with the color, the beauty, the joy of life. The less said about life’s sores, the better. The three most common sources of emotional problems appear to be a heavy load of stress or anxiety, overuse of defense mechanisms, and problems relating to people. Life is not governed by will or intention.
To walk through life innocently and tranquilly: and to look on death as its gentle termination, which it becomes us to meet with ready minds, neither regretting the past, nor anxious for the future. The most common problem most people have, is knowing how to relate to others. Many people, who overuse defense devices do so because they are afraid of others, feel unaccepted, are unable to give and receive love.
A reality that bleak is often terrible enough to cause the individual to retreat into his own World, where he need not deal with people at all. This is actually a common behavior. One famous example was a woman, who encased herself in a large mansion so not to deal with critics, mockers, and those trying to claim her life.
Her name was Mrs. Sarah Winchester. She was a very vulnerable and rich woman (a billionaire several times over), and she lost her husband and child, in a short time span. As a result of the family business, her life was always in danger, and she rarely left the mansion.
Mrs. Winchester, in fact, build a mansion so large that you could get lost in it. You could literally walk a mile in the seven story mansion, and never pass through the same room twice. So, affection and love of all kinds are really central in the whole issue of mental health. Two paramount ingredients of love and affection are knowledge and acceptance—saying to the loved one, “I know you. I know you very well, and you are great to me.”
One or the other of these ingredients is very often missing in relationships that are called friendship or love. Perhaps some seem to accept you, but do not know you very intimately—and therefore, one, like Mrs. Winchester, might be afraid that when another person does know them, they this person will not truly like or love them. Or perhaps some people in your life do know you well, but always seem to be critical of your faults. In other words, they do not accept you.
Acceptance and knowledge of an individual is extremely important in any loving relationship—and in any therapy relationship, regardless of whether it is a traditional psychoanalysis or modern group therapy situation. The patient comes to feel deeply understood and sincerely accepted by the therapist. This is of paramount importance, because generally the patient does not feel much love or acceptance for himself.
That is one of his major problems, he felt unloved and rejected. Some even speculated that his handlers were actually trying to sell him because of his true lineage, and no one would defend his legal rights, so he had major trust issues, and was often preyed upon. As a result, he isolated himself, in his apartment, and had no friends, and rarely went out. So if you feel that you are misunderstood, therapy is a great option. Listeners seldom hear the good of themselves.
