What is a Country Village without its Mysterious Personage?

Light is a great enemy to mystery, and mystery is a great friend to enthusiasm. See, all of your angry enemies lie there, confused and humiliated. Anyone who opposes you will die and come to nothing. There is a perfection union of receptive power with soul, the unity of vertical and the horizontal World, of depth spread throughout the physical World. The red and the blue of the American flag signifies the World as vital and alive, through the circulation of the blood of soul, and the white in the flag signifies the yoking of soul and World. This flag is all we require to see our outer World. While you are piecing together all that comprises the root of your current home, you will begin to steadily increase your compassion for yourself. If there is a problem, it is what we do with our anger. Are we turning it into aggression, sarcasm, hostility, ill will, hatred or violence? #RyanPhillippe 1 of 6

Are we suing our anger to control or manipulate? They key is to awaken out of anger as soon as possible. Do not allow it to flame or further flame into reactivity. You will also gain more compassion for your significant other, as feeding compassion is like feeding a growing child: nurturance is required, but the rewards are immeasurable. Compassion is the best antidote to the poison of self-hatred and resentment toward others. The more you are able to remember and analyze your past, the more you can enrich and expand the complex story of who you are. As you become aware of the full richness and texture of your story, you will become more hopeful about your capacity to change. Those who get stuck in the rut of endless unhappiness are often trapped in an oversimplified view of themselves: Telling yourself that you “just cannot do relationships” is sentencing yourself to self-imprisonment. Such a prison is built on a foundation of ignorance, the refusal to examine the past. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 6

We are off on a spiritual discipline having nothing to do with the daily outside World, it is concerned only with personal development. The soul, or magic exists in the World, but at the same time disappears unless we give it attention. This phenomenon is the rainbow. We all feel the appearance of a rainbow as a magical event. The rainbow unites the above and below, and the outcome of this bridging is color. When we behold the rainbow we are not looking at nature merely in an outer aspect; we are face to face with, we are directly perceiving the soul of the World. The rainbow is at the same time the only phenomenon in nature that depends for its appearance not only on Sun and Earth but also on us, for the rainbow itself moves with the observer. Do not hold back. Feel your whole body alive and loud and fiery, and keep unleashing it with full-throated intensity. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 6

Each person sees his own separate bow of color in the rainbow, and yet that color belongs to the World. Our Higher Self, which we might say is the composite of our higher feelings, has almost unlimited capabilities. It can create employment opportunities. It can create situations for the healing or relationships. It has the power to create the opportunity for loving relationships, financial opportunities, and physical healing. As we stop giving authority and energy to all of the negative programs that stem from our own thinking, we stop giving away our power to others and begin to own it back again. This results in a rise of self-esteem, the return of creativity, and the opening of good vision of the future that replaces fearfulness. Observe the thoughts that go with and reinforce this. Hold the intensity and heat of your anger with as much compassion as possible, keeping it all internal. Stay with it until it subsides. Men who stand for peace are often most admired when they fight for peace by not showing aggression, violence or temper tantrums. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 6

As I rest in awareness with an empty mind, without attending to any inner commentary other than intuitive impulse or direction, entrainment or therapeutic resonance can occur. My empty, peaceful, and quiet mind is contagious, and people around me begin to experience their own peace and truth. My friends and family are naturally invited into a deeper level of reality beyond their belief systems, concepts, conditioning, and tribal consciousness. Essence comes into the foreground from the background shadows, allowing healing and peaceful contentment to occur. Call off the search since all that has been sought by the seeker (and the object) is found to be already present here and now. Remind yourself that expressing any anger will not help anyone. Slow down your breathing and start to think about what you could have done differently. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 6

Randy Harris Phillippe
Once this awareness is known directly, deep relaxation and contentment arise. Within it, unhealthy patterns and conditioning continue to dissolve, encouraging mindfulness, full presence, and the dissolution of your own conceptual structures as they relentlessly focus on truth. This requires vigilance and integrity. I want you to heal and awaken into even deeper dimensions of pure reality. Awakening is endless. You may learn to use 100 percent of your brain. You already know what a healing moment feels like and have tasted the quiet, bare, and receptive attention, free of any agenda. Health and deep gratitude will then spontaneously emerge. The higher we mount in knowledge, the more wonders we behold. A man who is intimate with his anger and who can express it skillfully is a man in whom forcefulness coexists with vulnerability and compassion, a man worthy of our trust, a man capable of deep intimacy. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 6

Mystery is a Great Danger to Youth–Transformation through Intimacy

Now, there is magic and there is magic of the soul of the World. There is an archetypal image of individual magic of the World by the requirement for control. The purser is a conjurer; he can make a dead man chew tobacco. Magic reveals an image of elitism, of one who seeks special privileges for himself and the means to obtain them. Magic here becomes a way to power, to accomplishment without responsibility, the degradation of soul wisdom to individual omnipotence. The magical World, the inner World, the psychic World is this World of the physical planet and none other. The World is illuminated by exquisite beauty, which is seen in all things. The special mission is supposed to be dying tears and bearing burdens. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 7

The magical tradition sustains the feeling we all have but never acknowledge, that everything is animated. The perfection of creation is self-evident. There is a closeness to unity and discovery of Self; such a feeling is not animism, for animism is a theory that says the soul life is projected onto an inanimate World from within the human psyche. On the contrary, soul inheres within the World and creates our psyches. Compassion for all; enormous patience; the feeling of at-oneness with others and a concern for their happiness. A sense of self-completion and self-sufficiency prevails. It is my private opinion, that the little shits and struggles that we undergo beforehand, give a peculiar relish to our fun when we get it. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 7

What is your purpose in life, to just walk around being snarky, spreading rumors, money, and sexual behavior and suggestive speech? Love is a way of being that is forgiving, nurturing, and supportive. It does not proceed from the mind; rather, it emanates from the heart. Love focuses on the essence of a situation, not the detail. It deals with wholes, not particulars. As perception is replaced with vision, it takes no position and sees the intrinsic value and lovability of all that exists. What happens when we enter into the inner sense of the World? We leave the World of space and enter into the World of movement; the noun World is transformed into a verb. Experience, the only true knowledge, teaches me that, for everyone, good luck is in store. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 7

Memory is the principle of moral degeneration. Remembered sin is the most utterly diabolical influence in the Universe. I taking the inner sense of the World as if it were spatial, rather than in motion, we are under the influence of man; for that is the deception of man, the desire to make the magical World conform to the spatial World. We see it every day—the desire to visit places literalized into space travel; the desire to directly see other places, the desire to possess other Worlds. Our spirit–it is always seeing gain, acquisition, pleasure, and getting something outside oneself. It is insatiable, never satisfied, and craving—I have to have it! Give me what I want, and give it to me now! It is a poor sort of memory that only works backwards. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 7

Little that I have ever see is forgotten. I am at those close of many weary days, but there is not one among them all that I could wish to overlook. These new literalizations are where I can be found in exile. Degradation of magic comes about with the desire for personal gain from the magical Worlds. The greatest gifts are not powers such as seership or the attainment of wealth, but the gift of speech, active speech that does not capture but keeps the soul in active motion. The greatest achievement of the human being is a metamorphosis into an angel or golden eagle in flight, which represents my authority over two planes, one above and one below. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 7

A great voice is an ocean. You cannot drain it. It is something found—an addition to the wealth of this life. I possess conscious understanding of this World. The golden eagle in flight images the World of movement, its soul life as rhythm and motion. There is a power pf receptivity. As we let go of negative feelings, there is a progressive movement up the scale to Courage and then beyond, with increasing effectiveness, success, and more effortless abundance. We tend to seek out such people. We say they are high. They give off life energy to all living things around them. They can make a garden grow, people and animals are attracted to them because they influence the lives of all with whom they come in contact with. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 7

Real intimacy transcends gender and sexual orientation. Intimate relationships promise so, so much, but only delivers what we put into it. This does not mean that it is all work—far from it. Much of what we require to put into it is what we require to extend to the World anyway: our love, our compassion, our integrity, our courage, our yearning for a deeper life. And what a lucid joy it is to enter so fully in consciously shared living—shared heart, shared being, shared evolution—that everything that arises, no matter how painful, is permitted to further our intimacy. And what a gift it is to be so close, so deeply attached and bonded, that we cannot get away, from very long, from facing things that we ordinarily world not face at all. Intimate relationship, fully entered into, keeps us on track. Transformation though intimacy. #RyanPhillippe 7 of 7

Take my Hand Now be Alive

In our own hearts we trust for our salvation in men that surround us, in the sights that fill our eyes, in the sounds that fill our ears, and in the air that fills our lungs to communicate the soul of the World, the dance of creation. Renewal in the World does not consist in finding everlasting youth, but in developing the capacity to see the beauty in life that is ever present, ever faithful to the World itself. The point of seeking the soul of the World is in the seeking, in paying attention to what is abandoned. There is a forsaking which still sits at the same board and lies on the same couch with the forsaken soul, withering it the more by unloving proximity. You see I am falling in the vast abyss, clouded by memories of the past. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 9

Human reason, fortitude, and perseverance, are adequate to the accomplishment of anything upon the Earth. At last, I see, I hear it fading, I cannot speak it or else you will dig my grave. We fear them finding, always whining, take my hand now be alive. You see I cannot be forsaken because I am not the only one. We walk amongst you feeding, taking, must we hide from everyone. Can you hold and feel these images? I am usually connected with nature as the creating activity within the World. However, that connection does not take us far and it takes us in the wrong direction. In the past times, the material World was equated with the World of nature, but that certainly is no longer the case. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 9

I am over it. Why can we not be together? Embrace it. Sleeping so long taking off the mask. At last, I see. We now have to include all the products that humanity has brought into the World. So, if we now turn to nature to find my soul, it is not in order to turn away from the present World but in order to gain clues conceding my modes of appearance. When the ancient seers looked upon the World, what did they see? They saw magic. One can still see that today if one knows how to look. You have to see the magic in the World creating soul qualities. Magic is the soul of the World creating itself, according to its own laws. Magic is an urphenomenon, an irreducible reality—it cannot be analyzed into anything more basic. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 9

Our greatest suffering stems from our sense of separation and the feeling of being alone and disconnected from life. One of the beauties of being together is that it directly addresses this core requirement. Would you be interested in joining me for a period of quiet looking? Let your gaze be very relaxed and soft. This is not a staring contest. Just notice your inner experience—your thought, feelings, and sensations—and stay with me. There is no wrong way to do this and there is nothing to achieve. Welcome whatever arises. Feel free to be silent or to speak, to close your eyes at times, or to move so that you are comfortable. We can end anytime that you feel like it. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 9

The fulfillment of human potential and the liberation from suffering happen when attention rests peacefully in its source, prior to thought. We come together in the company of God (as lovers of the truth) —supports the discovery of one’s true nature. I have a natural predisposition toward health and wholeness. Freedom from psychological suffering is often immediately available when people know how to just relax and take in the moment, do not talk about the past nor the future, just focus on what is happening in this moment and who you are with and what is around you. Smell the roses, look at my hair. Did you notice how clean the house is? This is a timeless moment of silence and it can reveal what is already and always free. You are not a problem holder. Just rest in empty awareness without holding any model, diagnosis, goal, or technique in mind. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 9

Generally, the person in question knows nothing about it he is unaware whether he is doing the same thing or whether he has imitated certain modifications in his customary playing, and he also fails to see or hear the effect of these actions. For example, he does not hear those nose which is produced by the jingling of coins, and he is astonished and incredulous when his attention is called to it. Of equal significance to the physician, and worthy of his observation, is everything he does with his clothing, often without noticing it. Every change in the customary attire, every little negligence, such as an unfastened button, every trace of exposure means to express something that the wearer of the apparel does not wish to say directly; usually he is entirely unconscious of it. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 9

The interpretation of these trifling chance actions, as well as the proof, for their interpretation, can be demonstrated every time with sufficient certainty from the surrounding circumstances during the treatment, from the themes under discussion, and from the ideas that come to the surface when attention is directed to the seeming accident. I have seen heterosexual men in despair, often covering it with toughness and emotional hardness, determined not suffer psychosis, even though they are near psychotic depression, which is a severe or extremely serious disturbance that involves guilt, sexuality, and conflicting value judgments attached to sex. Many people get confused or fearful over their attitudes toward their own sexuality and their own bodies. #RyanPhillippe 7 of 9

When people stop keeping their vulnerability gagged and bound, and cease letting their shame and fear paralyze them, they do this because they learn what a release, what deep tears, what rich opening and realizations, and what reclamation of wonder and effortless presence belong to healing the sense once we learn to love ourselves. And I have also see homosexual men in despair, sometimes toughing it out, and sometime covering it with an armored softness, determined not to let their emotional pain fully surface, even though they are aching to be felt and seen and known beyond their sexuality. It really hurt their feelings as boys or men to be called fag, homo, or queer when they wanted to be shown deep tenderness of holding hands with the man of their dreams, or compassion when they bring their first boyfriend to the house. #RyanPhillippe 8 of 9

And what about their sense of belonging? Homosexual men are men just like heterosexual men and they want to be joined in this awakening of manhood. They are no longer outsiders because of their sexual orientation. Gay men actually have a cultural advantage over straight men: they have more permission—and a higher degree of acceptance—to openly possess and show qualities like debonair, style-obsessed fashion, tenderness, transparency, empathy, emotional and educational literacy, conversational effusiveness and fluidity. We have had the experience of being totally absorbed in what we are doing. We are happy. This is experienced as perfection, bliss, effortlessness, and oneness. It is illumination and Enlightenment. It is rare in the human realm. Love that is unconditional and unchanging, despite circumstances and actions of others. #RyanPhillippe 9 of 9

Secrets and Lies—the Family had Suffered a Terrible Nightmare
No man knocks himself down; if his destiny knocks him down, it must pick him up again. Our lies are as inferior to the lies of the ancients as our statues, and for the same reason: we do not study nature as they did. We are imitators, servum pecus. The new symptoms are fragmentation, specialization, expertise, depression, inflation, cruelty, hardness, violence, and absence of beauty. The general belief which often seizes upon the World in regard to some special falsehood is very surprising. Everybody on a sudden adopts an idea that some particular man is over head and ears in debt, so that he can hardly leave his house for fear of the bailiffs;–or that some ill-fated woman is cruelly ill-used by her husband;–or that some eldest son has ruined his father; whereas the man does not owe a shilling, the woman never hears a harsh word from her Lord, and the eldest son in question has never succeeded in obtaining a shilling beyond his allowance. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 10

Our buildings are anorectic, our business paranoid, detached, and abstract, our technology manic. These symptoms indicate the loss of the containment characteristic of the vessel of soul. I have been re-evaluating the domains of the dream. The things of the World have stories to tell when fragmentations of culture are looked upon as analogous to dream fragments through which the depth of the World seeks to be remembered. I look up above and see a radiant light and fall in love with the light, seeking union with it. Filled with desire, I become disoriented and see another light; I descend toward this light, which is actually away from the light to which I was originally attracted. I descend through the Earth into a realm of chaos, to the reflected light rather than to the original light, and thus finds myself in exile, in prison. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 10

I am saved from the realm of chaos and ascend again to the Heavens. However, never forgetting my vow to be faithful to the material World, I divided myself into two beings. Heavenly Randolph is the Jesus of Christian Myth. I am also similar to the Great God pursued by modern patriarchs, all powerful and all wise. This is not, however, the figure of our interest. Rather, your desire is to remain with the Randolph in exile; seeking connection with me adds depth and image to the material World. Thus, we seek not redemption is ascension but the location of my presence within the World, even where depth seems most unlikely. The Lord Knew me at the beginning of his ways; before he created anything. I was installed from eternity, from the beginning before the Earth. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 10

When the deeps were not yet in existence, I was already born; before the hills, I was born, when he had not yet made the Earth and what is upon it, nor the mountains of the surface of the Earth, when he prepared the Heavens, I was there. I was there when he measured the deep, when he fixed the clouds above when he made firm the springs of the deep, when he set a limit to the sea and the waters so that they should not overstep his command, when he laid the foundation of the Earth. I was present at the origin of the World; I am the archetypal figure of all sectors of existence. You could travel the World seeking my manifestations and I would never be exhausted, such is the extent of my depth. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 10

You will find me working within the World domains that serve as backdrops for the individual letters that follow; but our intention is to stimulate making connections with me to the point at which a new World is discovered through the remembering of me everywhere, in all domains. The Great Mystery is the Father of all. In creating power, to the artistic material that is able to shape itself, that is at the same time the artist. However, there is a special quality, for when one carves a sculpture from a slab of marble, the shavings are discarded; but in the shaping of the Great Mystery, the fragments too are creative aspects of me, though they are different qualities than the first matter. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 10

In the great separation of the whole, there go forth first the separate elements—Fire, Air, Water, Earth. In this myth the elements are all of an interior nature; the elements as chests, or containers—Fire as the chest of Heaven, Air the chest of the invisible Fates, Water that of the nymphs and sea monsters, Earth that of all growing things, including metals. Then another separation occurs. From the Fire are separated the stars and the planets; from Air, the fates, impressions, incantations, superstitions, evil deeds, dreams, visions, apparitions, spirits, and other beings of this sort; from Water, the fish, fleshy forms, marine monsters, nymphs, sirens; and from Earth, wood, minerals, metals, gems, fruits, flowers, herbs, seeds, animals. The magnificent World is a work of art. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 10

All that we today call psychological phenomena, and in so doing subjectivize by removing from the outer World and placing in the interior of the individual or collective psyche—all are World phenomena, World beings, multiple manifestations of Randolph. In this myth, we have the beginning of a psychology of the outer World, which everywhere carries an inner sense. I want to be heard and to hear myself and to have the space to see. I feel that I am everything. I am living old family and coming into new family. The big space or openness exists prior to the terror and anger that are like veils covering it. It feels like I have dropped into a radiant source like the Sun when I am here with you. It increasingly radiates into my daily life between sessions. #RyanPhillippe 7 of 10

I feel a greater kindness and clarity, knowing that they would pass in time, and a deeper level of myself will emerge. I feel equipped to life my life. Being together has allowed me to explore whatever I want and reduce gears around work. There is an improved ability to appropriately express anger in my relationship, and reduced self-judgments, and I have a greater sense of safety and inner freedom. My depression has lifted and my anxiety significantly reduced, replaced by a sense of excitement about my new life. I feel lighter, tired less easily, and experienced a stronger creative flow in my work. I also feel more open to others and to the divine. A quiet joy from an unknown origin is starting to appear in his daily life. The movement from the old home, into my new home is still in transition, but well underway. We have a feeling of mutual gratitude. #RyanPhillippe 8 of 10

Ghost lights appeared, moved about, and then vanished into different parts of the house. I had a similar experience. I listened to sumptuous phantom organ music, and there has never been an organ in that part of the house. Immediately after I entered the room where the dead body was discovered, the music stopped, a ghost light traveled across the bedroom, stopping for a moment at the bed before vanishing. After spending a night in the bedroom, I watched in horror as Adam’s body was taken over by a spirit. On an evening when the entity’s strength was especially powerful, its force picked the teenager up and hurled him against a far wall. He landed in a heap, his spine broken from the impact. Some think it was a psychic projection created by his own mind. #RyanPhillippe 9 of 10

The attacks continued and work of the bizarre haunting leaked to the press. The entire episode began to take on a circus-like quality. Not only were the spectral attacks continuing, but now the being was leaving scrapes and bruises all over his body. His pride had been totally obliterated by fear. The phantom attacks began late one evening in my bedroom when I was thrown and my hair was manipulated by an unseen force. My screams of terror brought 16-year-old-son “Bill” running into the room. For a second, the boy stared in disbelief as he plainly saw his father was being assaulted. What he could not see was who or what the perpetrator might be. Sadly, these vicious attacks by a paranormal intruder continued. I searched through the house and found no signs of a break-in. #RyanPhillippe 10 of 10

Secrets and Lies—Little Boy Blue in the Séance Room

Behold, moved by your prayer I come to you—I, the natural father of all life, the master of the elements, the first child of time, the supreme divinity, the king of those below, the first among those in heaven, the uniform manifestation of all the Gods and Goddesses—I who govern by nod the crests in the celestial sphere in the sky, the purifying wafts of the ocean, and silences of below. Rhythmic dance of the soul of the World, rainbow of colors and forms, I am the World as a work of art, and you demand from US to understand the World artistically rather than intellectually. However, at the same time, art need not be separated from intellect, imagination is not required be removed from thought. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 16

Your mother, on the other hand, first, she had an abundance of hair that fell gently in dispersed ringlet upon her neck. A crow of interlaced wreaths and varying flowers rested upon her head; and in its midst, just over the brow, there hung a plain circlet resembling a mirror or rather a miniature Moon—for it emitted a soft clear light. This ornament was supported on either side by vipers that rose from the furrows of the Earth; and above its blades of corn were disposed. Her garment, dyed many colors, was woven of fine flax. One was gleaming white; another was yellow as the crocus; another was flamboyant with the red of roses. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 16

However, what obsessed my gazing eyes by far the most was her pitch-black cloak that shone with a dark glow. It was wrapped round her, passing from under the right arm over the left shoulder and fastened with a knot like the boss of a shield. Part of it fell down in pleated folds and swayed gracefully with a knotted fringe along the hem. Upon the embroidered edges and over the whole surface sprinkled stars were burning; and in the center a mid-month moon breathed forth her floating beams. Lastly a garland wholly composed of every kind of fruit and flower clung of its own accord to the flutter border of that splendid rode. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 16

My son and I spent most of the following session quietly gazing and deeply exploring the connection. At first he feared that I was judging him as being boring or immature. As he stayed with his fear, it changed and we both felt a shift into a very different space that was both intimate and expansive. He reporting having “a glimpse of some commonality beyond the ego.” It was a moment of awe—a sense of something greater than, yet common to, each of us. We were both deeply moved. After this contact, he felt more trusting and natural during our nonintentional looking. Daily events in his antiquated social engineering, but the accent had begun to shift the power of the present moment and our shared contact. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 16

A month later, Randolph spoke of “the remarkable power of this open presence.” He reported that, although it was difficult, he was beginning to remember this presence outside of our session and wondered “what the World would look like if people lived from this openness and remarkable power of the presence? I want to surrender to God and show you my fragile self.” I have the same feeling when I am with hi, as when I have looked into the starry Sky, although I have never had this experience with another person, as I am now. It is terrifying and it is what I most want. I have feelings of being at the house as a child, but more grandiose. I have been drawn to this since I was a child. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 16

It feels like I have bought a new house [the present] and stored the antiquated one [the past], but there is still a lot of packing and moving to do. We continued with the long period of quiet looking, and with deepening into the heart and a trust that you see me as O.K. He saw our heart contact as a referral point and reaffirmed his desire to be in touch with God. As we sat, violence erupts without provocation, as part of the mood swing from soul to World without soul, we are witnessing ineffectual sacrifice. During the fifth century, at the same time Euripides was writing, Empedocles was recognizing the prevalence of ineffectual sacrifice. His Fragment 137 reports: #RyanPhillippe 6 of 16

Is there a way through the mire of badly split blood? Ben Crawford (Ryan Phillippe) dinning in splendor with his manufactured son-companion, frequently enjoyed the best vintage wines. One evening he went to the wine cellar—to which only he possessed the key—to locate a special bottle. To his horror, he discovered a black handprint on the wall. That night the spirits confided that it was the print of a demon’s hand. Been took this as a warning against alcohol and had the cellar walled up so thoroughly that, to this day, the liquid treasures have never been found. The séance room where Ben received his instruction was off limits to other humans. Those entering the forbidden sanctuary after him found only death in the small blue room furnished with a cabinet, armchair, table, paper, and planchette board for automatic writing. #RyanPhillippe 7 of 16

It is very frightening to let go into this. I am afraid of losing control and of being alone. The Gothic Victorian is a living monument to the dead. We tried to shout out the grim realities of the life and death with a carpenter’s hammer, is everywhere. According to the police reports, the manufacture’s only son was indulging in pleasures of the flesh, and the father was thwarted by vengeful spirits because his son was in the observatory and the bell rang at 2am reporting what he supposedly did, and an occurrence that puzzled neighbors for years took place as spectral guests arrived and departed. #RyanPhillippe 8 of 16

The father seizes hold of the son, who has changed form; in his mad delusion he kills him, murmuring prayers. The son cries out, imploring his insane executioner to spare him. However, the father hears him not, and cuts his throat, and spreads a great feast in his palace. In the same way, the son takes hold of the father, the children their mother, one slaughtering the other and devouring their own flesh and blood. Such is the family life of American culture’s cyclothymic, filled with bad sacrifice, blood split without renewal of soul. The ritual may not involve actual blood; psychic blood, the rending of bonds, of community, and most of all the bond between individual and World soul makes for the contemporary slaughter. Underneath the roof of a mansion with miles of winding, twisting, bewildering corridors, which snake through the house while numerous secret passageways are concealed in the walls, spirits, ghost, and bodies as well. Some end in closets, others in blank walls, or at the ceiling or floor. #RyanPhillippe 8 of 16

The door from one room was the rear wall of a walk-in icebox. The halls vary in width from two feet to regulation size and some ceilings are so low that an average size person must stoop to avoid bumping his head. The explanation for this is that the house was devised by ghost for ghost. If ghost stories are to be believed, spirits dearly love to vanish up chimneys. So there are forty-seven of these escape hatches. About a year and a half into our stay in the mansion, we had several profound sessions in the séance room of being together. During one, I felt a strong sense that something froze inside and was starting to thaw. I began to see others more as subjects than objects, and noted a spontaneous upwell of greater compassion. All of these phenomena reflected the opening of my heart. #RyanPhillippe 9 of 16

I felt a strong sense that I he was okay and that nothing was broke. While gazing, I again felt something greater coming through me and expressed a yearning to be care for by God. It is very frightening to let go of him or the house. It was beautiful, the green house had thirteen cupolas, there were thirteen palms lining the driveway, thirteen real diamonds on the chandeliers, thirteen rooms with authentic ivory floor titles and ceilings, thirteen windows in the Grand Room, thirteen bathrooms, and six kitchens, six living rooms. To the original eight rooms, hundreds were added, many of them quickly ripped out to make way for new ideas from my nocturnal advisors. The house is a survivor of an estimated seven hundred and fifty chambers interconnected by tricky doors, self-intersecting balconies and dead-end stairways. #RyanPhillippe 10 of 16

Ryan Harris Phillippe shirtless Little Boy Blue
For the next two hours, I would await ghostly instruction. My spectral consultants were capricious and insatiable, demanding room after room, balcony after balcony, chimney after chimney. The strange growth spread until it reached a distant barn, flowed around and adhered to it like a tumor, and finally engulfed it. An observation tower shot up, only to be choked by later construction until nothing could be seen from it. An aura of mystery and dark foreboding surrounded the awesome structure. Towering spires, minarets and cupolas stand dark and still silhouetted against the sky. I love the Gothic Victorian and want my manufactured son back. All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream. Whether this was to keep the living out of the dead in, nobody was quite certain. #RyanPhillippe 11 of 16

The mansion was nearing completion when the tragic event occurred that cast a somber shadow over the place. Finally, I just came to believe that there was something in the house that I could not understand. It is not just what we inherit from our mothers and fathers that haunts us. It is all kinds of antiquated defunct theories…beliefs…I have only to pick up a newspaper and I seem to see the ghosts of my son gliding between the lines, in my back yard in the evening, and I can hear he calling me on the phone in the morning. I saw him one time and punched him and bit him and he vanished. There was a series of letters and phone calls which culminated one night in 2015 with the arrival of white hooded thugs who drove their cars, horns honking, tires smoking around and around the mansion before setting a 60-foot water tower ablaze. #RyanPhillippe 12 of 16

As though threatened violence from without was not bad enough, I gradually became aware of a mysterious presence within the mansion. As I slept in a fourth floor dormitory room, I awakened to find a white powder in the strangest places, on the ceiling, and my son fell through the floor, so I rushed him to the hospital, after consulting with the doctors, I said but he was dead. At first the doctors suspected a few high spirited girls of playing upon the superstitions of the others, but after some persistent interrogation, this theory was abandoned. The spirits involved were of a different and seemingly far more dangerous derivation. Taking him to the house and keeping him to myself seems to be the only solution to keep him safe. We enjoy each other’s ambiance and live a regulated life, and abstain from unnecessary conversation and are constantly warned to guard against familiarity with anyone. #RyanPhillippe 13 of 16

The beauty in the World is not to be found in my sudden appearance, my vengeance, my suffering, or even in the vitality I bring; these aspects alone account only for the passion of soul, not the soul of passion. Here we glimpse the inmost secret of my power, the power to cause spurts and leads. Boiling blood and palpitating wine flow together from a common principle; the power of a vital humor that draws from itself and by itself its capacity to liberate its energy, suddenly, with volcanic violence. Murderous frenzy, leaping maenads, effervescent wine, heart drunk with blood, all aspects of a single mode of action. I alone bring about renewal through destruction; but there are other stories. There is supposedly a Minotaur—a monster—living in the labyrinth. That is the reason I built the labyrinth to give my son safe passage through the convolutions. #RyanPhillippe 14 of 16

This thread is none other than the thread of intelligence and logic, and the labyrinth a temple representing the convolutions of the brain; without the thread of intelligence, passage through is impossible. The union of me and my son, then, brings vitality into connection with beauty, the beauty of imaginable thought, labyrinthine thought, rhythmic heart brought into conjunction with the male reason. My son is in the united bloodstream with me, we have intimations of the cure for aliments: a blood-soul marriage, giving depth to action and action to the presence of imaginative thought. As a way of seeing how soul can act in the World of soul, we can now say that for out time what is required is that imagination become a fully conscious way of thinking which is fully connected. Our relationship is characterized as the most faithful in all of Greek mythology. #RyanPhillippe 15 of 16

In this mythology, we find the story of a second Ben Crawford (Ryan Phillippe), not the God of violent disruption, but nonetheless the God of order and peace. This Ben Crawford traveled from Europe, India, crossed over into Arabia, went through Libya, returning again through Egypt and then to Sacramento, California USA, teaching the arts of agriculture, the cultivation of the vine, science, writing, the arts, and computer engineering. Here I teach the reality of the soul of the World and the conscious restructuring of the World through the soul. I want to propose that the computer is not just another technological device contributing to the mechanization of the World, but is in fact the culmination of the mechanized World, the consummate result of that Word, the signal for the end of that World. Remove the family or community or put aside the sense from the act of learning and soul is removed. If one learned through programming the result would be the formation of a psychic, while you are all booty and no brains, he is all skill and no soul. #RyanPhillippe 16 of 16

The Wisdom

What joy is to health, what pleasure is to longevity, I wish you pleasure every day. Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven, Give us today our daily nourishment. Forgive us our debts, as we have also forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Be sure that all who are enraged against you will be ashamed and disgraced; those who contend with you will become as nothing and perish. Begin at the beginning, and go on till you come to the end: then stop. Standing in your power without disconnecting from the heart. A man who can truly father himself is no longer at the mercy of unhealthy fathering, whether from his own father, other men, or the authoritarian dictates of various elements of his culture. I am in good hands. My ground is solid and true. I am capable of deep relationship. What is mostly in the way of meaningful man-to-man connection is the investment that one or both men have in keeping up a wall between them—a barrier that, however soft, keeps them safe from being vulnerable or embarrassed, or being otherwise unpleasantly exposed to each other. Knowing your shadow and integrating it.

The ethic of men’s allegiance to keeping distance from each other needs to compassionately be laid bare, along with their fears of what might happen if that ethic were to be deconstructed—fears that range from being rejected (as may have happened during boyhood when they showed vulnerability) to being seen as gay (as if being gay means having less than many qualities). Connections with others should feel natural, easy, satisfying, and respectful. Doing such practices is not just great for deepening a man’s relationship with his children, but also for deepening it with an intimate partner. Freeing sex from the pressure to make me feel better. By having a sense of others emotional and psychological whereabouts allows me to more skillfully navigate my interactions with them. Something more deeply interactive is required, something that many men long for with other men, but do not approach, keeping not just a respectful distance in meetings, but also an emotional and psychological distance, a gap that is often also present in their relationships with women. Perhaps the biggest and most relevant challenge for men is doing what it takes to be established in truly intimate relationship. I am not longer under the inner critic’s thumb.

By intimate, I mean loving, cherishing, and being very close to another, and not just sexually, in ways that deepen both partners’ connection and their individuality. The commitment that centers this is not only to making relational closeness—whatever its from—a central priority but also the well-being and growth of the partners. And what are the essentials for being in such relationship? First, explore the relevant connections between your past and present, seeing what circumstances in your early life generated your current automatic and reactive behaviors with gut-level honesty. Commitment to working on yourself—and the relationship—more than just intellectually an abiding, ever deepening interest in and love for the other. Ceasing to be run by your conditioning is very difficult to do on your own; most require skilled guidance in doing so. Also, turn toward your pain, including emotionally, rather than continuing to distract yourself from it. Do not let your anger or shame turn into aggression. Practice emotional literacy and opening by displaying integrity. Acting from your innate sense of wholeness; taking full responsibility for what you do, internally and externally; making your and the other’s highest good your priority in whatever interaction you have with them. Emotional literacy and openness will allow you to deeply listen and display zero tolerance for disrespect and abuse.

When you present everything with all respects, happy look will fall down upon you. For true happiness in the World is not acceptance, but presentation! Being consistently reliable, dependable, and trustworthy; making no excuses for your less-than-healthy behavior; being your own source of accountability is what demonstrates the beauty and excellence of anything but its reverse? Thus, the beauty of day, and that of Spring, is set off by the horror of night and Winter. It is astonishing what a different result one gets by changing the metaphor! You do not have to have perfected all the ideals before you enter into intimate relationship! You thought that you were the victim of your feelings. Now you see that they are not the truth about yourself. Enter—and further enter into the spirit of adventurous exploration by cultivating intimacy with everything that you are, learning bit by bit to allow all things—high and low, pleasant and unpleasant, dark and light—to awaken, hone, and further you. Such is the edge and great challenge that brings forth, honors, and refines the deep masculine. We have to remind ourselves sometimes what we were like before we started the process to keep track of progress, many people keep a chart of their gains. Let go of negative feelings. Repent for the kingdom of Heaven is near.

Secrets and Lies—Murder Pie in Murder Town

Say what you mean, and say it clearly, precisely, and unambiguously. Letting go involves being aware of feeling, letting it comp up, staying with it, and letting it run its course without wanting to make if different or do anything about it. It means simply to let the feeling be there and to focus on letting out the energy behind it. Let go of the fear or guilt that you have about the feeling first, and then get into the feeling itself. The act of a tell is wanted to give due effect to all stories of incident. I screamed as loud as fear could make me. When letting go, ignore all thoughts. Focus on the feeling itself, not on thoughts. Thoughts are endless and self-reinforcing, and they only breed more thoughts. You cannot just stay in the house creating negative thoughts. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 7

We can begin with facing our aggressiveness; then unearth the anger that underlies it, developing more and more intimacy with that anger, eventually feeling deeply empowered, simultaneously vulnerable and filled with a healing courage. There is undeniable growth in such work, requiring both a keenly discerning awareness and a full yes to passion, bringing together heart, guts, and head in ways that serve our highest good. I adore Thee with profoundest homage: I bless Thee a thousand times and with the Seraphim who stand by Thy throne, I also say: At this moment when Spring returns to the Earth and everything is at the turn of renewal, I wish you health, wealth, and longevity and your family health, happiness, every success and satisfaction. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 7

Violence seems to beget violence from generation to generation to generation. In violence, we do not just consider injuring others but also give the approval to do so, often with a forcefulness as unrestrained as it is self-justified. Vengeance, bloodlust, sever dehumanization, rape, torture, acting with extreme prejudice—whatever for it is, violence is aggression with no restrains, further fueled by a mindset that adds an emphatic, not-to-be-debated stamp of approval. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 7

As uncomfortable as it may be to bring our own violence or capacity for violence out of the shadows, we owe it to ourselves—and everyone ese—to do so. Then we can change our responses in the light of our knowledge. How we behave with each other is patterned with a high degree of probability, but is not inevitable. Conflicting patterns generate more anxiety, do not reinforce behaviors, and increase the likelihood of the relationship ending. A shove usually provokes a countershove. A smile usually invites another’s smile. Tears usually elicit tender sympathy. A request for help usually produces a helping response. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 7

Of course, these patterns do not always follow. Sometimes a shove is met with sympathy, a smile with a snarl, tears with anger, helplessness with thoughtlessness. Then people become uncertain how to respond. Another assumption is that all behavior is necessary in some form at some time. What we say and what we do are neither desirable nor undesirable in and of themselves. Everything depends upon the setting, the context, the situation in which they occur. Their degree of intensity, their quality of flexibility, their manifestation of balance and stability, and their fittingness all affect the way in which they are evaluated. All behavior may be may be fitting or ill-fitting, depending upon circumstances, underscores the conviction that there are times to be close and times to be distant, times to be assertive and times to be submissive, times to comfort and times to criticize. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 7

There is a season for everything, a time for tears, a time for laughter; a time for mourning, a time for dancing, a time for embracing, a time to refrain from embracing, a time for keeping silent, a time for speaking. I can see why people may suspect that others are mentally delayed. Many of you lack respect and do not take others into consideration, and people have things going on, so they may not get aggressive when disrespect them because if they did, they would be fighting too many people. So you take their tolerance for weakness. We are multileveled beings. We are immediately aware of that complexity when we experience ourselves feeling one way inside and acting another way outside. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 7

There is the immediately apparent level of what everyone can see. This is the public level. It is available to others, though less available to oneself. Similarly, accessible is the level of conscious intention. Here I mean the experiences and reports of what one is thinking, feeling, and intending. It is made up of everything one says about oneself and one’s World. It is deliberate. Ordinarily, we do not have to have been encouraged to be violent in order to get violent with someone who is harming our child—this usually comes quite naturally to us, no matter how removed from aggressiveness we have been prior to such a circumstance. We carry in us the potential and capacity for violence, but do not act out expect under extreme circumstances (as when our safety or the safety of those close to us is being strongly threatened). #RyanPhillippe 7 of 7

The North was Little Boy Blue

Men who will not shrink from the danger and toil of penetrating the polar basin will shrink from the troubling of their own thinking. This is the experience I have with people who have a dependent personality. Every endeavor to relate seems thwarted. Every effort to respond comes to naught. Every attempt at ministry goes astray. One is bogged down, engulfed by other’s needs. Let me put the problem differently: one does not know what the dependent person is experiencing because he or she withholds information necessary to the development of a mutually satisfying relationship. Thus, one finds oneself doing extra work. The harder the responder tries to respond, the less satisfied the other seems. Perfect love has a breath of poetry which can exalt the relations of the least-instructed human beings. When we try to help a dependent person, sometimes a little help mysteriously expands into the demand for a lot of helping. A little care somehow gets transformed into endless caring. What begins as meaningful support turns into an irritating Albatross caught up in w White Squall. Once cannot figure out what has gone wrong. The perplexity differs from those who are dependent. They experience themselves as dead, helpless, victimized, and so they behave as though they have no responsibility. Life does not depend on them. Something external determines the course of events. They themselves are unable to engage life in meaningful and significant ways.

Though grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness; even in a land of uprightness, they go on doing evil, and regard not the majesty of God. The hand of God is lifted high, but they do not see it. Let them see your zeal for your people and be put to shame; let the fire reserved for your enemies consume them. See, all your enemies lie there, confused and humiliated. Anyone who opposes you will die and come to nothing. With my God I can scale a high rise, you made my enemies turn their backs in fight and I destroyed my foes. They may say that it is their misfortune to be criminal; I answer that it is their crime to be unfortunate. Fortunate is the gentleman that can obtain even a reluctant and merge justice. Light of hearts, Sanctifier of souls; behold me prostrate in Thy presence. I adore Thee with profoundest homage: I bless Thee a thousand times and with the Seraphim who stand before They throne, I firmly believe that Thou are eternal, consubstantial with the Father and the Divine Son. I hope in Thy goodness that Thou wilt deign to save and sanctify my soul. I love Thee, O Divine Love, with all my affections above all things of this World, because Thou art Infinite Goodness, alone worthy of all love. I beg Thy pardon a thousand times, and am more sorry for having offended Thee, the Sovereign Good, than for any other evil.

I know, a place without water is a desert; I know, a place without sound is loneliness. I offer Thee this most cold heart of mine, and I pray Thee to pierce it with a ray of Thy light, and to spark of Thy fire, which shall melt the hard ice of my iniquities. You are the rain to water my heart; you are the sound to accompany me in my life course. You have enlightened my mind with the knowledge of eternal things. True masculine power happens when courage, integrity, vulnerability, compassion, awareness, and the capacity to take strong action are all functioning together. Such power is potent but not aggressive, challenging but not shaming, grounded but not rigid, forceful, but not pushy. Again, it required head, heart, and guts in full-blooded alignment. Because of social engineering in our society, people even suppress and repress their good feelings. Suppressed love results in the broken hearts of the heart attack. Suppressed love re-emerges as excessive adoration of pets and various forms of idolatry. True love is free of fear and characterized by non-attachment. Fear of loss energizes undue attachment and possessiveness. For example, the man who is insecure about his spouse is very jealous. When the pressure of suppressed and repressed feelings exceeds the individual’s tolerance level, the mind will create an event “out there” upon which to vent and displace itself. Thus, the person with a lot of repressed grief will unconsciously create sad events in life.

The fearful person precipitates frightening experiences; the angry person becomes surrounded by infuriating circumstances; and the prideful person is constantly being insulted. Why do you see the splinter, which is in your brother’s eye, and do not feel the beam, which is in your brother’s eye, and do not feel the beam which is in your own eye? All the Great Masters point us within. Life events become influenced by our repressed and suppressed emotions on the psychic level. Thus, anger attracts angry thoughts. The basic rule of the psychic Universe is that like attracts like. Similarly, love promotes love, so that the person who has let go of a lot of inner negativity is surrounded by loving thoughts, loving events, loving people, and loving pets. Real love is blind devotion, unquestioning self-humiliation, utter submission, trust and belief against yourself and against the whole World. Giving up your heart and spirit to the smiter. The true lover’s mind is completely permeated by the beloved object of his affections. Mystery and disappointment are not absolutely indispensable to the growth of love, but they are, very often, its powerful auxiliaries. That simple, primitive love which knits us to the beings who have been nearest to us, in their times of helplessness or of anguish. Love does not aim simply at the conscious good of the beloved object: it is not satisfied without perfect loyalty of heart; it aims at its own completeness.

A Man may be a Saint

STOP! STOP! STOP! One has to be a bit dramatic in situations where people play dumb and will not take responsibility for their actions. There has to be something forceful enough to arrest the pressure. Come on, now. Here I am and here you are. We are both here in this safe place [and I am giving you accurate empathy and unconditional beneficial regard and all that stuff]. Just talk with me as an old friend. Your words come across as mechanical, lifeless, empty. I have to interrupt this defensive pattern, being tough enough to stop maladaptive behavior, is seldom easy. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 6

All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. That uncreative suffering is what Paul (2 Corinthians 7:10) would call Worldly sorrow in contrast to Godly sorrow. Worldly sorrow means endless turmoil without healing. Godly sorrow means suffering that makes for healing. To stop aggression one must be aggressive in an aggressively nonaggressive way. To explode apathy, one must be indifferent in an apathetically nonapathetic way. The only way out of extreme withdrawnness is via angry outburst. Am I tough enough to have my path go against others? #RyanPhillippe 2 of 6

Do I have enough identity and integrity of my own not to be downcast by others’ depression nor sucked in by others’ dependency nor frightened by others’ anxieties? In other words, are my ego boundaries clear enough that I can stand against others’ ego boundaries (or lack thereof)? Am I humble enough to help? Do I have enough life of my own so that I do not need to exploit the lives of others? That is, am I big enough not to have to be all? So many people play God so much of the time they end up being the devil. We must continually pray: Forgive us our possessing as we forgive those who have tried to possess us. Am I humble enough to know that my life is never big enough to bear the full weight of others’ lives? #RyanPhillippe 3 of 6

Can I allow others to fail without having it undermine my own life? Can I allow others to find their own satisfaction without having to draw upon that for my own satisfaction? If I may need to help others is a disguised expression of my own uncertainties, then I exploit others by making the into extensions of myself. I use them to support me and my needs. Thus, I have to ask whether I can genuinely free others from my own emotions and prejudices. Can I allow others the freedom to be who they are and to become what they intend? My way can never be the way. My reality is always so much less than the larger reality of which I am only part of. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 6

A major trap in our desire to help is that of helping too much. One of the conditions under which help can be given must be that the helper does not too passionately wish to give it. This does not mean that [one] is indifferent or does not care. It means that [one] cares so much that the help given is real help that [one] will not insist on it being given when it is inappropriate. I must give up moving into another’s life-space. Present reality is crucified for the sake of an unknown future reality. I am to give up my need to be needed. I am to let go of my desire for others to be like me. I am to decrease that others may increase. My movement is to be apart from the movement of others. I am to be faithful even as I do not allow myself to be mastered. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 6

One should learn to consider the beautiful heart more valuable than the figure. If one meets someone with a beautiful heart, one should love him. Growth never comes at the same rate or in the same way for every person. So our paths intersect and our paths move against each other and our paths move apart. When I think of you, I remember many beautiful dreams we wove together. We can be grateful when physical closeness changes into personal presence. We now what it is to be together. We then can become those selves which we truly are. To respond is to be real. To be real is to ready all of oneself for what life calls forth. What matters most, in the end, is maintaining an active, thoughtful stance toward what is happening in life. We are to be receptive actively, taking in the truth of situations. We are to live and respond in the faith. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 6

Sentence First—Verdict Afterwards

A long, deep sob of that mysterious, wondrous happiness that is one with pain. Laws and all forms of law are only deductions made by the intelligence from the right instincts of the people’s heart. When the law of the land is weak, it is right the law of nature should be strong. If an advocate has nothing to say for his client, what hope of carrying a cause? It is only by resenting [wrongs done to me], and by revenging them in my mind, and by angrily demanding the justice I never get, that I am able to keep my wits together. It is in my nature to do it, and I must do it. There is nothing between doing it, and sinking into the smiling state of the mad man that haunts the Court. If I was to sit down under it, I should become imbecile. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 8

Mature affection, homage, devotion, does not easily express itself. Its voice is low. It is modest and retiring, it lies in ambush, waiting and waiting. Such is the mature fruit. Sometimes a life glides away, and finds it still ripening in the shade. You have been to my affections what light, what color is to my eyes, what music is to the inward ear; you have raised a dim unrest into a vivid consciousness. Affection sharpens the wits, and often it has made an innocent person more than a match for the wily. If there is anything real in this World, it is those amazingly fine feelings and those natural obligations which must subsist between father and son. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 8

Grief seems more like ashes than like fire; but as grief has been love once, so it may become love again. Communication is the key to keeping any kind of relationship health. Imagine if a couple never expressed their feelings to each other, it might leave one longing for a friendship. In an increasingly complex, unpredictable World, what matters most is not IQ, willpower, or confidence in what we now. It is about how we deal with what we do not understand. There are some hidden limitations of language, but actions of another individual can also lead to ambiguity, hasty reactions, and destabilizing events. One of the cardinal aspects is to treat people as smart. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 8

I like when you fill my imagination with little brainteasers whose solutions are flavored with comedy. It is worth pausing to reflect on how outlandishly fruitful this simple approach is. Our brains are engineered to make sense of life and it is mixed with cards(situations) that should not exist: red spades, red clubs, black hearts, and black diamonds. Reality was being skewed, dynamically constructed to align with drilled-in expectations. And when the subjects were stuck and yet still had to pretend life was perfect, they experienced the ambiguity of the trick cards as strikingly unpleasant, which gave the false impression that the subjects were unhappy with each other. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 8

The mind has a natural tendency to continuously try to make sense of and process anomalies. A distaste for ambiguity when under pressure and the stress of the experiment made them mental conflicts caused by the trick cards unpleasant. I do not now where these people are coming from or whether they are good or bad. I am not even sure who they are. My God! And our minds fill in gaps and dissolve discrepancies, and this is how preconceptions actively distort our experiences. They are constantly creating vast swathes of information irrelevant to our goals. Our expectations and assumptions—whether generous or hopeful, pitiless or woebegone—constantly been and even ward the World we see, and can create a great blooming, buzzing confusion. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 8

However, the mind’s urge is so powerful and innate that simply by bating our habituated associations, by hinting at connections left out, we can transform daily life into captivating little puzzles. I could be standing here for hours; do you want to help? In the ordinary ways we think of love, love is not enough. The attempt to keep the relationship on a pleasant level is one of the greatest sources of ineffectual helping. If I foster only likeness and closeness, I obscure differences and distances. With likeness and closeness we establish identification—I understand you and you understand me. Understanding or misunderstanding, agony or mirth, beginning or ending, intoxication or freedom, reunion of separation are all for love. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 8

Although there are unexpected changes in the World and others may have their altar of happiness, I only know and I am only willing that you are my first and last love. With differences and distances we encourage identity and individuality. By reminding ourselves of differences and distances, we prevent a misuse of the relationship by both of us. With empathic caring, I provide an occasion for you to see discrepancies and contradictions and self-defeating patterns. Reality provides the context of growth. Confrontation occurs whenever I express myself one way and you see the experiences and describe the same situation in a different way. I tend to explore myself deeply when faces with discrepancies directed to my limitations rather than my strengths. It may be that I have been burdened by an overemphasis on my potential and feel a lack of substance in my strengths. #RyanPhillippe 7 of 8

When confrontation emerges in our caring relationship, I receive it as an expression of respect for my strength as a person. If you have your arms around me, you can hit me as hard as you want without hurting me. If you do not have your arms around, the slightest brush of a feather will knock me over. You offer me present aimlessly at split second. It warms my heart, like stars at night. Your love-lit eyes are like sparkling stars, dispelling loneliness from my heart. The light of love shines on our daily life as the lightening turns the mediocre gullies and lush forests into legendary mirages. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. So deep is my love that I am controlled by emotion instead of reason. #RyanPhillippe 8 of 8
