Words of Comfort for a Discouraged Housekeeper: Male or Female

Women are creatures brimful of courage. Theirs is not exactly the same quality as manly courage; that would never do, hang it all: we should have to give up trampling on them. No; it is a vicarious courage. Nothing can exceed the resolution with which they have been known to send forth men to battle; as some witty dogs says, “Les femmes sont tres braves avec le peau d’autrui.” It is given to very few men to meet good women on the threshold. We find them after hard buffeting, and usually we find the one fitted for us, when our madness has mis-shaped our destiny, our lot is cast. For women are not the end, but the means of life. Sex refers to our biological maleness of femaleness. There is a biological sex and a genetic sex, which is determined by our sex chromosomes, and anatomical sex, the obvious physical differences between males and females. Gender is a concept that encompasses the special psychosocial meanings added to biological maleness or femaleness.

Thus, while our sex is linked to various physical attributes (chromosomes, penis or vulva, and chest or breast, and so on), our gender refers to the psychological and sociocultural characteristics associated with our sex—or in other words, ones masculinity or femininity. The terms masculinity and femininity are used to characterize the behaviors that are typically attributed to males and females. One undesirable aspect of these labels is that they may limit the range of behaviors that people are comfortable with expressing. For example, a man might hesitate to be let a female be the sole support of the household as he might be labeled as feminine, and a woman might be reticent to act assertively and get a crew cut hair style for fear of being considered masculine. It is not our intention to perpetuate the stereotypes often associated with being a man or a woman. However, we find it necessary to use these terms when discussing gender issues, so we do not have a race of babies that hate the ladies, who make the babies. Nonetheless, without man planting a seed, there would be no life. Women are born the accomplices of mischief. For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

Young men take joy in nothing so much as the thinking women angels: and nothing sours men of experience more than knowing that all are not quite so. There is something about a fine man on his knees that is too much for women. If any single thesis could be said to constitute the doctrine of existentialism, it would be that the possibility of choice is the central fact of human nature. Even the thesis that existence precedes essence often means no more than that men do not have fixed natures that limit or determine their choices, but rather it is their choices that bring whatever nature they have into being. When we meet people for the very first time, many individuals quickly note their sex and make assumptions based on their maleness or femaleness about how they are likely to behave: These are gender assumptions. For most people, gender assumptions are an important part of routine social interaction. We identify people as being either the same sex as ourselves or the other sex. (We avoid terms like opposite sex because we believe it overstates the differences between males and females.)

Many of us find it hard to interact with a person whose gender is ambiguous. When we are unsure of our identification of someone’s gender, we may become confused and uncomfortable. I think girls are very like boys. I am beginning to think that the subsequent immense distinction is less one of sex than education. They are drilled into hypocrites. A girl so like a boy was not quite his ideal of a girl. She is very clever, too clever for a woman. She lacks the indefinable charm of weakness. It is the feet of clay that make the gold of the image precious. Her feet are very pretty, but they are not feet of clay. White porcelain feet, if you like; they have been through the fire, and what fire does not destroy, it hardens. There is nothing more displeasing to a man of sense than to see his wife make no difference between matters of the greatest moment, and those of no moment at all.

When a good lady in the same tone of voice, and with equal concern, inquires after her husband’s health, and how a spot came upon the floor, the consequences is natural that he thinks a spot upon the floor affect her as much as his own health. The first is that choice is ubiquitous. All ones actions imply choices. Even when you do not choose explicitly, as some may not do in the majority of cases, my action bears witness to an implicit choice. Gender identity refers to each individual’s subjective sense of being male or female. Most of us realize in the first few years of life that we are either male or female. However, there is no guarantee that a person’s gender identity will be consistent with his or her biological sex, and some people experience considerable confusion in their efforts to identify their own maleness or femaleness.

The second contention is that although in many of my actions my choices are governed by criteria, the criteria which I employ are themselves chosen, and there are no rational grounds for such choices. The third is that no causal explanation of my actions can be given. A man of any fashion never blushes for his wife, whatever she may be. For his mistress, indeed, he may blush: for if there are any small failings there, his taste may be called in question. Gender role (sometimes called sex role) refers to a collection of attitudes and behaviors that are considered normal and appropriate in a specific culture for people of a particular sex. Gender roles are established sex-related behavioral expectations that people are expected to fulfill. However, I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. The woman is supposed to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. When we use the terms masculine and feminine in subsequent discussion, we are referring to those socialized nations.

The history of mankind is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations on the part of man toward woman, having in direct object the establishment of tyranny over her. Some of our social perceptions actually cause people to act in certain ways. Many women play a submissive, domesticated, naïve part because they know their husbands expect it. Or they may be afraid to be independent because they think they need husbands for support. So, gritting their teeth, they swallow their more liberated tendencies and play Donna Reed. What gentleman will bear with a learned wife? Besides being culturally based, our notions of masculinity and feminist are also dependent on the era in which they occur. For instance, if an American father in the 1950s had not raised his children, and ran off to live his own life, while his wife traveled on business, his behavior would probably have raised eyebrows, if not engendered ridicule.

It is better for a man to be at home with his children than to have a home without a father. Staying together for the children’s sake may be a good thing. Children from two-parent families are better off emotionally, socially, and economically. They are also 50 percent less likely to experience teenage pregnancy, sexual exploitation, sexually transmitted viruses or disease, and will more than likely stay out of trouble and are 74 percent more likely to graduate high school. Senator Sam Brownback, a Republican from Kanas, actually wanted to create a bill that would allow married couples with children to get a marriage bonus of up to $9,000.00 a year. In delicate minds, love is seldom the consequence of marriage. If people married for affection, there would be no such thing as gallantry at all. More than any other time in our history, the present era is marked by redefinition of male and female roles. Many of us who have grown up subjected to strong gender-role condition are now exploring how these roles have shaped our lives and are seeking to break away from their limiting influences. Being part of this change can be both exciting and confusing.

The struggle for women’s rights was revitalized in 1890 when the National and American Woman Suffrage Associations merged. They sought a wide variety of expanded rights for women, its task was greatly facilitated by the proliferation of women’s groups that emerged during the Progressive era. With increased industrialization, for the very first time, women had the opportunity to purse actives other than those centered on the home. Women worked for improved sanitation, public morals, education, and the like. Substantial houses fronting the main streets concealed the worst urban housing, which was in back alleys or even backyards. Many visitors did not even realize slums lay behind the rows of brick housing, nor did they know of the uncollected garbage, privy runoffs, and fetid decay in the dark unpaved alleys.

Mrs. Paris and I went to the lowest part of the City to see some poor persons who had called upon us for Charity. We found one woman, with two children, and expecting soon to be confined, living in a cellar, part of the floor in the cellar was dirt and rocks, and exhibited much wretchedness; but it was tolerably clean. She was a teen bride and her husband had beat up, broken her legs and sent her to the hospital. When she returned home the keys to her house had been changed and a woman threw malt liquor in her face and told her to get lost; her husband occasionally worked. They were not poor, but he refused to support his wife and children any longer, even when he was employed, because he felt that he lost much of his authority and power in the family. Some found their wives no longer subservient or seemingly careless with their hard-earned money. One woman angered her husband by failing to give a clear account of what she had done with the grocery money. He said if she did not give him a full account…he would kill her or something like that. The squabbles over grocery money ended in murder. This family was an extreme case, but family violence that spilled out onto the streets was not uncommon in working-class quarters.

Although some ventured into the World of the working class, their life could not have been more different. Members of the new middle class, like ones father, profited from the dramatic increase in wealth in antebellum America. They lived in pleasantly furnished houses in the mountains, enjoying more peace, more privacy, and more comfort than the less affluent. Franklin stoves gave warmth in the Winter, and iron cookstoves made cooking easier. Conveniences like Astral lamps made it possible to read after dark. Bathing stands and bowls ensured higher standards of cleanliness. Rugs muffled sounds and kept the heat in. Material circumstances were one badge of middle-class status, but there were others as well. The acceptance of certain norms and values also identified a person s member of the new middle class. Genteel behavior and the careful observance of elaborate rules of etiquette ( a gentleman was expected to back out of a parlor after making a call upon a lady) the appropriate clothes and conversation, an elegantly furnished parlor for the for the entertainment of visitors—all served to establish the standing of the members of a middle-class family.

New expectations about the roles of men and women, prompted partly by economic change, also shaped the middle-class life. In the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the labor of men and women, adults and children, all contributed to the family’s economic welfare. However, improved transportation, new products, and the rise of factory production and large businesses changed the family economy. Falling prices for processed and manufactured goods made in America, like soap, light bulbs, clothing, and even bread made it necessary for women, except on the frontier, to continue making these items at home. As men increasingly involved themselves in a money economy, whether through commerce or market farming, women’s and children’s contributions to the family welfare became relatively less significant. Although middle-class women and children still worked in their homes as their husbands left to bring home the bacon, they often neither produced vital goods nor earned money. Even the rhythm of their lives, oriented to housework rather than the demands of the clock, separated them from the bustling commercial World where their husbands now labored. By the 1820, the notion that gender roles occupied separate spheres emerged to express the new reality. Men’s sphere was the public World, whereas women’s was the domestic.

Many of us who have grown up subjected to strong gender-role conditioning are now exploring how these roles have shaped our lives and are seeking to turn their attention to the processes whereby we acquire our gender identity. Certainly gender identity usually—but not always—comes with the territory of having certain biological parts; however, there is more to it than simply looking like man or a woman. The variety of interpretations suggests that perhaps different experiences are being discussed or that the ratio of interpretation to experience may be too high. However, on the extreme and exceptional experience is common to all existentialism. Everyday experiences, by contrast, are thought of as conventionalized, predigested aid to complacency, conformity, and self- deception.

Since the existentialist writer acknowledges the sovereignty of individual choice and the important of the concrete situation, he cannot address himself to his audience in the manner of traditional philosophy, for the readers has to make one’s own choices in the light of his or her own experiences. Argument will be powerless unless the reader chooses to agree with the author’s premises. If you choose this starting point, then that logically follows that men were charged with the task of financial support, a responsibility was a heavy one in changing economy. Women’s duties included working at home, not as producer, but as housekeeper. The role of housekeeper had both pleasure and frustration built into it. However, satisfactions derived from a cozy household. Yet, it was sometimes impossible to achieve the new standards of cleanliness, order, and beauty. A few of the inconveniences in the house are: sick children, poor domestics—that undermined efforts to create a person harmonious home. Women were expected to become systematic, neat, and thorough housekeepers, whatever the personal costs might be, they were also given more elevated responsibilities as moral and cultural guardians of their own families and, by extension, of society as a whole. Believing that women were innately pious, virtuous, unselfish, and modest (all characteristics that men lacked).

By training future citizens and workers to be obedient, moral, patriotic, and hardworking, mothers ensured the welfare of the republic. Just as important, they preserved important values in a time of rapid change. Because men had none of women’s virtues and were daily caught up in the face-paced World of business, wives were responsible for helping husbands cope with temptations and tensions. A wife was, in words of one preacher, the guardian angel who watches over her husband’s interests, warms him against dangers, comforts him under trial; and by…pious, assiduous, and attractive deportment, constantly endeavors to render him more virtuous, more useful, more honorable, and happier. As a boy, sometimes you have to let the girl win. However, with other boys’ fair competition is more better. Whatever conveys the idea of subjection necessarily destroys that of love, of which I am so convinced, that I have always wished the word OBEY expunged from the marriage ceremony. This view characterizing women as morally superior to and different from men, had important consequences for female life. Women by ill temper make husbands pay dear for their fidelity. Marrying a man one dislikes is the most deliberate and shameful degree of vice of which the human mind is capable. Because women thought they had a unique nature and because their husbands spent much of their time away from home working friendships with other women often became central. Women felt that they shared more with one another than with men, even their husbands. Similar social experiences and perspectives made female friendships a source of comfort, security and happiness. If the course of true love never runs smooth, the course of true matchmaking sometimes does so.

Although the concept of domesticity seemed to confine women to their homes and to emphasize the private nature of family life, it actually prompted women to take on activities in the outside World. If women were the guardians of morality, why should they not carry out their tasks in the public sphere? God’s appointed agent of morality—such reasoning lay behind the tremendous growth of voluntary female associations in the early decades of the nineteenth century. Initially, most involved religious and charitable activities. Women supported orphanages, paid for and distributed religious tracts and Bibles, established Saturday and Sunday schools, and ministered to the poor. The associations provided women with congenial companions and suitable tasks for their moral character. Female domestic behavior was encouraged. Domestic ideals helped many women make psychological sense of their lives. The new norms, effectively spread by the publishing industry, influenced rural and urban working women. The insistence on marriage and service to family discouraged married women from entering the work force. Those who had to work often bore a burden of guilt. Many took in poorly paid piecework so that they could remain at home. Though the new feminine ideal may have seemed noble to middle-class women in cities and towns, it created difficult tensions in the lives of working-class women, working class children still worked or scavenged for goods to sell or use at home, but middle-class children were no longer expected to contribute economically to the family. Middle-class parents now came to see childhood as a special stage of life, a period of preparation for adulthood.

In a child’s early years, mothers were to impart important values, including the necessity of behaving in accordance with gender prescriptions. Girls were to be kind, smart, play with dolls, wear pink, have shoulder length or long hair, sit with their legs closed and talk a lot. Conversely, boys were supposed to be strong, happy smart, read books, play with trucks, wear blue, and have neat hair and love sports. Harsh punishments lost favor. Affection can govern the human with a sway more powerful than the authority of reason or even the voices of conscience. Schooling also prepared a child for the future, and urban middle-class parents supported the public-school movement. Children’s fiction, which poured off the printing press, also socialized children. Stories pictures modest youngsters happily making the correct choices of playmates and activities, obeying their parents, and being dutiful, religious, loving, and industrious; however, occasionally, as The Child at Home (1833) or Home Alone (1990), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2004) The Originals (2014) the audience could discover the horrible consequences of wrongdoing. The young girl who refused to bring her sick mother a glass of water saw her promptly die. Heavy-handed moralizing made sure that children got the proper message. Because children required so much loving attention and needed careful preparation for adulthood, many parents desired smaller families.

The declining birthrate was evident first in the Northeast, particularly in cities and among the middle class. Contraceptive methods included abortion, which was legal in many states until 1860. This medical procedure terminated perhaps as many as 33 percent of all pregnancies. Other birth control methods included coitus interruptions and abstinence. The success of these methods for family limitation suggests that many men and women adopted the new definitions of female sex as naturally affectionate but passionless and sexually restrained. A single woman is a thousand times more shackled than a wife, for she is accountable to everybody; and a wife, you know, has nothing to do but manage her husband. Man is not permitted, with ultimate impunity, to exasperate the envies, and the miseries of those around him, by a systematic perseverance in willful celibacy. Celibacy is popery and hell in perfection. It is the doctrine of devils, and a war with the Almighty. This is recognized of the impulses behind existentialism seems to be dissatisfaction with the kind of nineteenth-century materialism which held that if human actions can be causally explained, then determinism is true in a sense that excludes the possibility of human agents’ being responsible and free. However, instead of denying that causal explanation entails this kind of determinism, the existentialist takes the unnecessary stop of denying the probability of causal explanations of human action.

World Human Rights Day is 10 December 2014

How much better it is to be useful than rich or fine; how much more amiable to be good than to be great; the greatest merit any person could have is to be good and useful. About 10 million lives are saved each year by police, highway patrol and our armed services. National Human Rights Day is coming up on 10 December 2014. It is generally the conscious over-fullness of conceit that makes the hypocrite most upon one’s guard to conceal lady justice. Strong mind programs perceive that justice is the highest of the moral attributes; mercy is only the favorite of the weak ones. I learned in time that this benignity this cordiality, this music, belonged in no shape to me: it was a part of himself it was the honey of his temper: it was the balm of his mellow mood he imparted it, as the ripe fruit rewards with sweetness the rifling bee; he the bee or the bird it feeds? Is the sweet-briar enamored of air? Nothing is so provoking as that a man should preach viciously and act virtuously.

The generality of mankind is too corrupt to be governed by the great universal law of social nature. Whereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the World, whereas disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind, and the advert of a World in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspiration of the common people, whereas it is essential to promote the development of friendly relations between nations, whereas the peoples of the United Nations have in the Charter reaffirmed their faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person and in the equal rights of men and women and have determined to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom; all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.

Humans are endowed with reason and conscience and should act toward one another in sprit of love and happiness. Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Furthermore, no distinction shall be made on the basis of the political, jurisdictional or international status of the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it is independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty. Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and security of person. There is kind of sympathy in honest minds, by means of which they give an easy credit to each other. It is impossible for the historian, with even the best intentions, to control events or compel the persons of his narrative to act wisely or to be successful. It is easy to see how things might have been better managed; a very little change here and there would have made a very different history. Modesty is very well in its way; but really a little common honesty is sometimes quite as becoming. Perhaps it is the instinctive trait of most of us to seek an explanation of any great happiness as we are always prone to discuss the causes of our adversity.

Nature and the Unity and Diversity of Life

It is no secret that fall is the time to head to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee, where you will find a mosaic tile of natural deciduous trees like the red maple, sugar maple, white oak, and tulip polar trees, and you will see an autumn cascade in the Little River Canyon. Nature, as we ordinarily use the term, means the order of physical existence which forms our environment, the objective or external aspect of our own lives, the World of animals and plants and minerals, surrounded with the sea and sky. Nature means this, and is supposed to be majestic and beautiful. The most important imaginative impact that physical nature has on us is a sense of alienation. Nature feels intelligent, moral, and peaceful. It is natural for humans to also be moral, civilized, and socially disciplined; it is unnatural to live like animals. Humans are supposed to possess innocence, chastity—the nature of God. The Great Smoky Mountains—they are the very definition of a forest, and one of America’s most visited parks. Mammoth Cave, which is located in the Great Smoky Mountains is the longest cave in the World, with more than 360 miles of mapped passages. Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve, which protects a simple, yet beautiful landscape that once covered the Midwest.

The nature God had originally planned for man was that of the Golden Age or the Garden of Eden: this was lost at the Fall of man, but in some measure is recreated by the disciplines of civilization, morality, religion, and the arts. Man is subject to death, and on the physical level of nature there can be no more natural event than death. Yet death was not part of the order originally planned for man, and in that context, death is unnatural, sin even more so. The circling of the immortal heavenly bodies in the sky is the most eloquent symbol of the order and harmony of the nature that was originally intended for humans. The traditional, music of the celestial spheres symbolized a harmony that is recreated by human music. Music in God has its traditional Platonic meaning of the musical arts, which include poetry (as distinct from the technical arts of painting and architecture), and it also has regularly attacked to it the pun on the word harmony which makes it a symbol of the original order of nature established for man before the Fall. God consistently uses music to represent the order and balance that ought to exist in both individual and social forms of human life. Music is indispensable in restoring sanity to the insane, health to the sick; even life itself to those like Thaisa, have temporarily lost it.

Harmony disciplines the soul, and the human mind, symbolizing the hidden sympathy between man and nature evoked by music and poetry. The art is man’s nature, the World of art and music and nature are identical on the human level, natural life goes hand in hand with proficiency in music and poetry. The settings of my photographs are usually designed to suggest the Garden of Eden or the Golden Age. In ordinary life the fact that humans essentially belong to a World with a human shape is symbolized by the garden, the cultivated form of nature. When cultivated, the garden belongs to the human level of nature; when left uncultivated, it relapses to the ordinary physical level. The garden is used as an image of human society, to appease God. Evergreen trees symbolize immortality. In Contrast, Deciduous broadleaf trees are dominant at moist, temperate latitudes, where winters are not severe. As we move out of tropical rainforest, we enter regions where temperatures remain mild, but rainfall dwindles during part of the year. Here we find tropical deciduous forests, in which many trees drop some or all of their leaves during the pronounced dry season. The monsoon forests of India and southeastern Asia also has such trees. Farther north, in the temperate zone, rainfall is even lower, and temperatures become cold during the Winter.

Here are regions of temperate deciduous forest. Conditions do not favor decomposition as much as they do in the humid tropics, but nutrients are conserved in the accumulated litter on the forest floor, which helps to keep moisture in the soil and fertilize it, but in the cities and suburbs, if the leaves collect in the street, or of the roof of your house, they can cause flooding and water damage to houses and roof. Nonetheless, all trees are beautiful. At one time, deciduous broadleaf forest stretched across northeastern North America in Sacramento, California, Europe, and eastern Asia. Ash, beech, birch, chestnut, elm, and deciduous oak trees dominated the forests, which largely disappeared as land was cleared for farming. Some species introduced to North America brought diseases that wiped out nearly all chestnuts and many American elms. Without rain, Earth would turn into Mars, and the planet would burn up, terminating all life. Today, maple and beech forests predominate in the Northeast. They give way to oak-hickory forests father west, which grade into oak woodlands and tall grass prairies of the Midwest.

The God addressed the gardener as Adam’s likeness, and talks of Even and the serpent, but this garden is not Eden: it is the ground that Adam had to till after the Fall of Man, and the Queen’s attempt to curse it is useless because the general curse of nature is already there. This nature is the physical World. This is the upper or human level of nature. Humans are nice and kind and smart and gentle and caring and social, but monogamous. The natural state of man, then, is a civilized and ordered state because man is made in the image of God, and God is perfect, therefore, so is man. Geometry is one of my favorite courses. The King is the less, he is a symbol and the more he is an incarnation of nature. Nature above art in that respect, like poets, are born not made. Murder in the order of nature, which lets in a destructive force, represented by the tempest-raising witches, and by the prodigies and portents of the murder itself, will lead to your own inevitable destruction. However, no king can actually restore mankind to the Golden Age; all around human society is still the lower physical order of nature. People on the lower levels of human nature are persistent danger of severely hurting self or others; or president inability to maintain minimal personal hygiene; or serious suicidal acts. They are repeatedly violent, maintains almost no personal hygiene and have made potentially lethal suicide attempts. Are manically excited, smears own feces, and is either incoherent or mute. Speech is illogical, obscure, or irrelevant.

This order moves in circles, imitating the stars in their courses, but it cyclical movement is an amoral force, and it operates by necessity rather than by intelligence and freedom. It produces not only the cycles of prosperity and decline that is called the four seasons on the wheel of fortune, Earth. Virginia’s Shenandoah National Park is just over an hour from Washington, D.C., but a World away. The park contains more than 500 miles of hiking trails, including 101 miles of the Appalachian Trail, but its most famous feature is Skyline Drive, a scenic byway that funs 105 miles north and south along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you are planning a trip in the fall, aim for the middle of the week, as the route is usually packed with cars most fall weekends. In life, some have mostly bad experiences because they are at lower levels of functioning. At the higher wheel of fortune, the highest parts of your life are represented by superior function, in a wide range of activities. No symptoms. Life’s problems never seem to get out of hand. Person is sought out by others because of his or her many good skills and qualities. People at the lower end of the natural cycle will experience a lot of chaos of the storm. Happy people move upward with the ascending cycle, people who are kind and honest and hardworking.

In a way, history cannot do, a reintegration with the higher level of nature. The only paradises are the paradises we take care of. The natural head of state; because of the conception of nature involved, he does what is required of him. If he does not, society’s natural order throws up another natural force. A natural force that under certain conditions inevitably makes its appearance. Because of his de facto authority, and society’s need of order, becomes de jure as well, a fact borne witness to by Sacramento’s dramatic transfer of loyalties to him. Still this transfer of power to William Randolph Hearst does not illustrate a breaking of the connection between human society and the cosmic order, and consequently the deposing of William becomes impotent, all the architectures, art, magic of music and poetry becomes attacked to him, because of the fact that he shares the same name as a great head of state. Now he begins to bear the obloquy of responsibility, but neither his effort to dissociate himself from the Winchester nor his dream of going into retirement can give his crown the glamour that, in history, only a lost cause can have. William Randolph Hearst, with his tremendous energy and egoism, is very well adjusted to nature as an amoral force, the aspect of nature that has been intensified by William Wirt Winchester’s accession.

Liberty, Life and Peace are Important

Physiological needs are very powerful because survival depends on their satisfaction. Our manners and customs go for more in life than our qualities. The love of social superiority, the very impulse of the human heart, which is the mainspring of civilization and the chief source of all human improvement, is able, when suffered to work on, uncontrolled by other more generous emotions, to corrupt man’s whole nature, and to drive him to acts the most horrid and detestable. The single word slave, what volumes does it speak! It speaks of chains, of whips and tortures, compulsive labor, hunger and fatigues and all the miseries our wretched bodies suffered. It speaks of haughty power, and insolent commands; of insatiate avarice; of pampered pride and purse proud luxury; and of the cold indifference and scornful unconcern with which the oppressor looks down upon his or her victims. Slavery speaks of crushing fear, and base servility; of low, mean cunning and treacherous revenge. It speaks of humanity outraged; manhood degraded; the social charities of life; of hope extinguished; and the light of knowledge sacrilegiously put out. Slavery speaks of humans deprived of all that makes them amiable or makes them noble; stripped of one’s soul and sunk into a beast. Grant me freedom and health and give me a fair goddess Liberty as my companion. Humans share a kinship with every aspect of nature, and you and nature have a mutual, interacting, parallel relationship that is at the heart of ecology.

At some point, every race and culture on this planet has been enslaved, even in modern times. Having light skin does not mean your family was not a slave. Even rich Europeans have been forced into slavery. In Britain, slavery was practiced, after the fall of Rome. The trade was picked up after the Viking invasions, with major markets in Chester and Bristol, supplied by Danish, Mercian, and Welsh raiding of one another’s borderlands. By the year 1086, nearly 10 percent of the English population was slaves. Slavery was so popular in early medieval Europe, the Roman Catholic Church repeatedly prohibited it—or at least the export of Christian slaves to non-Christian lands was prohibited. So slavery is not something that is unique to neither America nor Africans. With the collapse of 250 years of Slavery, in American, in 1865, freedom meant many things to everyone. Women no longer would be sexually exploited. Citizens of all colors were free to learn to read and write, without facing death or execution of the teachers. Sovereignty meant people could organize churches, and move around without having to obtain permission. Autonomy meant that your labor would produce economic benefits for the laborer, not the former master, and freedom meant working without being whipped. Individuals were free to own land, cultivate it and live in it. Liberty also meant that if you were charged with a crime, you could have a trail before jury, instead of simply being accused and convicted, without any proof. Freedom meant you could have a family, without them being kidnaped, killed or sold. Freedom meant that everyone had the same rights, no matter what color their skin was, culture, religion, race or creed.

As slavery ended, the most urgent need for many freed people was finding family members who had been sold away from them. Slavery had not destroyed the African American family. They still have their pride and religion. After the civil war, husbands, wives, and children went to great lengths to reassemble their families. They walked from city to city and state to state looking for their kinship. And many placed advertisements in Newspapers appealing for information about missing relatives. There were emotional reunions as family members found each other following years of separation. Mr. Ben and Mrs. Betty Dodson had been apart for twenty years, and when Mr. Ben Dodson found his wife, in a refugee camp, after the war, he praised God. One may think that the African Americans where angry with the dominate population after the fall of slavery, but not all were. When interviewed by Union officer, near Opelousas, Louisiana, a young African American man told the Union officer, when his master begins to love him, then it will be time enough for me to love him. He explained that he wanted to get away from the plantation and be free. Of course not all newly freed people felt the same about bondage. Those human impulses which have seemed throughout our history to be deepest, to be most instinctive and unchangeable, to be most widely spread throughout mankind (the impulse to hate, to be jealous, to be hostile, to be greedy, to be egotistic and selfish) are now being discovered more and more to be acquired and instinctive. They are almost certainly neurotic and sick reactions to bad situations, more specifically to frustrations of our truly basic instincts.

However, in early 1866, Congress attempted to provide land for freemen with the passage of the Southern Homestead Act. More than three million acres of public land were set aside for African Americans and European Americans, who had remained loyal to the Union. However, shortly after the Civil War, an orgy of brutality and violence swept across the South. Much like the African American community is lashing out against the police and the government about the unfortunate loss of a young man, Michael Brown, many lashed out at African Americans for the loss of millions of dollars worth of labor and property. There were beatings, murders, rapes and riots, often with little or no provocation, much like the destruction we are seeing in Ferguson, Missouri. However, remember, wisdom cannot be grafted on the stock of slavery (mental or physical): justice cannot be established without denunciation and disapproval of wrong. Though we are not perfect, God loves us and made us in his image. At times, we may feel lost and without and lack direction, but God loves every one of us, even if we are perfect, imperfect, disabled, homosexual, no matter what color or culture we are, and we should accept our brothers and sisters and show them God’s love.

A single deed of violence and cruelty affects our nerves. It is understand that people are upset about the death of a young man, but perhaps the current form of protest are outdated. Showing up in the streets, in masses, and threatening your fellow brothers and sisters makes you look crazy. Burning down buildings, assaulting people, and looting stores makes all Americans look bad, no matter what color we are. The World is watching and they are in shock. Instead of creating chaos, write letters, make phone calls and visit congress to show them that you are mature, educated and wise, tell them the changes you want to see. Just like when you were a child and acted up, did you parents give you your way? No, they usually punished you and you got in more trouble. However, when you explained to them why you hurt someone or broke something and were polite, they would more than likely listen and be compelled to understand that you need more attention and your needs are not being met. Those who never have been guilty of any indiscretion are generally people who have very little active virtue.

I would like to share another true story with you. In the Bronx borough of New York City, four boys were at play, hollering and screaming like they had lost their minds, and racing in and out of an apartment building. Suddenly, from a second-floor window came the crack of a pistol. When the boys looked around, they noticed one of their friends sprawled out dead on the pavement. The victim happed to be Roy Innis, Jr., age 13, and the son of a prominent African American leader, but there was no political motivation for the tragedy. The killer was also African American, and he confessed to the police that he was a night worker, who had lost control of himself because the noise from the boys prevented him from sleeping. The moral of the story is when you result to violence, you may hurt yourself or an innocent bystander.

This other account is more recent, but has not made headlines yet. On 25 November 2014, the body of Deandre Joshua, as 20, was found around 9am, inside a white Pontiac, with the driver’s side window shout out. The car and body was located near the Canfield Green Apartments in Ferguson, Missouri, within close proximate to the police station. Mr. Deandre Joshua, an African American man was minded his own business, and is now dead. No one is sure if this is a result of the protest. The case is now being investigated as a homicide. The idea of death is one of terrible contemplation. We should always esteem the danger, however boldly we may advance to meet it. All the sentiments of Worldly grandeur vanish at that unavoidable moment which decided the destiny of men. Time goes forward and, and you go round. Speak to the point. Romans 5.8 reports, God shows his love for us, in that while we are still sinners, Christ died for us. All lives matter and so does the law.

83rd Annual Capitol Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Love is a passion which kindles honor into noble acts. People need to rise early, to see the sun in all his splendor. The morning of day and the morning of life are but too much alike. The most useful of all arts, the art of life. I hold with God that afflictions are not sent by God in wrath as penalties for sin. Our manners and customs go for more in life than our qualities. Friendship, like love, is the child of sympathy, not of complaint. Happiness must be something solid and permanent, without fear and without certainty, and honesty is a great advantage. This season marks the 83rd Annual State Capitol Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, which will take place on Tuesday, 2 December 2014, at 4:30 p.m., on the West Steps of the State Capitol. The event is open to the public. The beautiful Christmas tree will be dressed by nearly 10,000 ultra-low wattage LED lights, and beautiful ornaments.

The tree is a beautiful Douglas White Fir, is 53 feet tall, and from Latour Demonstration State Forest located near Redding, California. The Latour State Demonstration Forest is a 9,000-acre forest owned and managed by Cal Fire and is a great destination for hiking, mountain biking, hunting and camping in Shasta County. The forest consists primarily of coniferous trees and is actively managed by Cal Fire with timber harvests and other vegetation management techniques. As a result, the woods are inviting and home to variety of wildlife species. You can see one of these majestic giants on display on Sacramento, California. The State Capitol of California, where the Christmas tree ceremony is taking place is in downtown Sacramento, California on 10th Street between L and N Streets, on Tuesday, 2 December 2014, at 4:30 p.m., on the West Steps of the State Capitol near. Modesty is very well on its way; but really a little common honesty is sometimes quite as becoming. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3.16

The Immortal Tree

How astonishing a variety of nature!—In some countries we know the tree that sheds its leaf is the variety, but that does not make it less amazing, that the same soil and the same sun should nurture plants differing in the first rule and law of their existence. Nature has a voice. Nature repairs her ravages—repairs them with sunshine, and with human labor. The World’s major frost biomes, which are a broad, vegetational subdivision of some biogeographic realm (one of six major land regions, each having distinguishing types of plants and animals), shaped by climate, topography, and composition of regional soils, all have tall trees growing close enough together to form a fairly continuous canopy over an extensive region. There are three general types of forest trees. Which type prevails in a given region depends partly on distance from the equator. Evergreen broadleafs are dominant between 20 degrees north and south latitudes, most notable in the boreal forest or taiga (meaning swamp of forest) of northern hemisphere, and in cool climates in mountains further south. An evergreen is a plant that has leaves throughout the year, always green.

Most boreal forests occur in glaciated regions punctuated by cold lakes and streams. It rains mostly in summer, and evaporation is low in the cool summer air. The cold, dry winters are more severe in eastern parts of the continents than in the west, where oceanic winds moderate the climate. Spruce and balsam fir dominate the boreal forest of North America. Other evergreen conifers include cedars, Doulas-firs, cypresses, firs, junipers, kauri, larches, pines, hemlocks, redwoods, spruces, and yews. Evergreen trees originated in cold, northern climates. In the north, the growing season (spring and summer) is very short compared to that of the south. Trees use light to make food, through photosynthesis. In order to survive in the shorter growing seasons, trees needed to gather light all year long. The only way to do this was to collect light for photosynthesis in the winter. However, trees can only photosynthesize when water is available in useful form, so when the only water available water is snow or ice, even evergreen trees are dormant. They rest until conditions are right for photosynthesis to start again. In temperate climates, evergreens can reinforce their own survival; evergreen leaf and needle litter has a higher carbon-nitrogen ratio than deciduous leaf litter, contributing to a higher soil acidity and lower soil nitrogen content.

These conditions favour the growth of more evergreens and make it more difficult for deciduous plants to persist. In addition, the shelter provided by existing evergreen plants can make it easier for younger evergreen plants to survive cold and/or drought. Evergreen needles are an adaption, a change that allows them to survive. Botanists long ago discovered that needles are actually regular leaves that are rolled up very tightly. This shape is an adaptation that allows evergreens to conserve water, which is necessary for photosynthesis. Evergreen needles also have a very waxy coating that also helps to conserve water. Therefore, evergreen trees are regular trees, whose leaves are rolled up and covered with wax. They are made this way so they can made food for themselves all year long, without drying out. They will stay green as long as water is available. Evergreen Broadleaf forests are biomes that occur in tropical parts of Africa, Southeastern Asia, the East Indies, the Malay Archipelago, and South America, and Central America. Annual rainfall can exceed 200 centimeters and is never less than 130 centimeters. Where regular, heavy rainfall coincides with high humidity 980 percent or more) and the annual mean temperature is about 25 degrees Celsius, one will find highly productive tropical rain forest. Here, evergreen trees produce new leaves and shed old ones throughout the year.

Near the fringes of the biome, some trees are periodically bare during the driest season, but not for more than a few weeks. Because leaf production and leaf drop are generally continuous, tropical rain forest produce more litter than any other forest biome. However, decomposition and mineral cycling are rapid in the hot, humid climate. Also, the highly weathered soils, with little humus, are not a reservoir of nutrients. Pines, together with deciduous birches and aspens, are abundant in burned or logged areas. Acidic bogs, dominated by peat mosses, shrubs, and stunted trees, may develop in poorly drained areas. Boreal forest becomes much less dense to the north, where they grade into arctic tundra. However, Boreal conifers have many wintertime adaptations. The narrow conical shapes of northern conifers, and their downward-drooping limbs, help them shed snow. Many of them seasonally alter their biochemistry to make them more resistant to freezing, called hardening. While tropical rainforests have more biodiversity and turn over, the immense conifer forest of the World represent the largest terrestrial carbon sink, where carbon from atmospheric CO2 is bound as organic compounds, which means the trees are cleaning the air and providing us with oxygen. They also have great economic value. Large coniferous forest once grew around forests once grew around the northern Great Lakes, but logging nearly destroyed them in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

The montane coniferous forests of Yosemite Valley in the Sierra Nevada of California are coniferous forest, which extend southward, through the great mountain ranges. Spruce and fir dominate the forest to the north and at higher elevations; fir and pine dominate Southern states and lower elevation. A temperate rain forest parallels the coast all the way from Alaska into northern California. It includes some of the World’s tallest trees—Sitka spruce to the north and redwoods to the south. The Avenue of the Giants is located in Northern California and is 51,222 acres of redwood groves, where sixty percent of the World’s tallest trees can be viewed along the 31-mile avenue of the Giants. Nature repairs her ravages, but not all. The uptorn trees are not rooted again: the parted hills are left scarred; if there is a new growth, the trees are not the same as the old, and the hills underneath their green vesture bear the marks of the past rending to the eyes that have dwelt on the past, there is no thorough repair. There is a very large tree, known as the Immortal Tree, and it is a redwood tree that is 76 meters (250 feet) tall and 950 years old. This tree used to be much taller, but it a direct lighting strike removed the top 14 meters (45 feet), reducing its size to 76 meters. The immortal tree survived a 1908 attempt at logging, and the flood of 1964.

The Avenue of the Giants also features three living trees, in Northern California, which visitors can literally drive through. And there is even a cool tree house, which is actually a house, which is partially built within a living giant redwood. This would be a fabulous place for a couple or family to visit and really experience the greatness of California. God’s own presence is felt lingering yet, as if, in love with his own work, he stayed to touch it again—creating new charms in multiplied duration. Why should Nature’s law be mutual butchery? God detests the thoughts of the wicked, “but gracious words are pure in his sight,” reports Proverbs 15.26 Nature will smile though priests may frown. “Do not conform to this World, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind and thoughts, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect,” reports Romans 12.2. Therefore, if you want to be happy, change your exposure, what you watch, read and listen to and the people you are around. Deviation from nature is deviation from happiness. Nature has a language of her own, which she uses with strict veracity, “Look at the birds of the air; they do not plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And are you not just as valuable to him as they are? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day is enough to focus on.” Matthew 6.26-27 and 34.

They Shall Not Pass Unseen

What man has ever felt that all his thinking powers were absorbed, even by the most poignant mental misery that could occupy them? In moments of imminent danger, the mind can still travel of its own accord over the past in spite of the present—in moments of bitter affliction; it can still recur to everyday trifles in spite of ourselves. Suffer any wrong that can be done to you, rather than come here! Oceans cover more than 70 percent of the Earth’s surface, so it is not difficult to understand why variations in ocean surface temperatures affect climate around the World. However, only within the past decade has numerical modeling begin to show how dramatic the effects maybe. In the winter 2013-2014, rainfall was below normal along the California Coast, and by Spring of 2014, strict water conservation and rationing programs were in the works. People were taking quick showers, instead of baths, cutting back on flushing the toilet, and running the dishwasher, and no longer deep-watering lawns and gardens because of the drought. However, drought is a relative term. This legality is not able to set thee free from thy burden. There are chords in the human mind. Health is everything. If you live in Tucson, Arizona, or another desert city like Los Angeles, California, drought is what you expect nearly year around. If you live along the Western Coast or the Mid-Western states of America and other interior continents, where semiarid conditions prevail, prolonged drought conditions can be disastrous.

As of 18 September 2014, the King fire in Placer and El Dorado, California has burned more than 77,000 acres, 3,000 people have been evacuated, 12,000 houses are being threaten, but no homes have been destroyed yet, as 4,000 fire fighters battle this blaze that is suspected to be a case of arson. Wayne Huntsman, age 37, has been arrested and charged with willfully and maliciously starting the King fire, in California. Wayne Huntsman, from Pollock Pines, has 4 prior felony convictions and a misdemeanor. The King fire is costing $5,000,000.00 a day to fight and is destroying beautiful land and wildlife, as a result, Wayne Huntsman has been book, in jail, in a $10,000,000.00 bond for arson and desertification. Desertification refers to the conversions of grasslands. Misery generates hate. Arson, at one time, used to be punishable by death, especially if human life was lost in the fire. Special agents trained to investigate violent crimes of arson. Arson is typically committed with a carefully calculated plan to minimize the chance of detection. Arson is the act of intentionally setting fire to a building or other property, land, nature, Earth or structure. Setting off an explosive that causes a fire also qualifies as arson. Originally, the person who started the fire had to mean to destroy the building completely. However, today, when states prosecute someone for arson, they no longer have to prove such intent. Partial damage, such as smoke damage or charring, is sufficient evidence that arson was intended. Arson is a felony, punishable by imprisonment. The length of the sentence depends on the extent of the damage and is usually longer if the building is one in which people live. Therefore, because arson is a crime, and the season is abnormally dry; be sure not to start a fire. Drought is nothing new. Yet, abnormally dry seasons may be part of a recurring feedback relationship between sea surfaces.

Rain-fed cropland, or irrigated cropland to a more desert like state, with a drop in agriculture productivity of 10 percent or more. Worldwide, about 9 million square kilometers have become desertified over the past fifty years. At least 200,000 square kilometers are still being affected each year. Prolonged drought may accelerate desertification, as it did in the American Great Plains and The Yellow River, in China, many decades ago. Desertification could also be a result of overgrazing and over farming. In Africa, for example, there are too many cattle in the wrong places, Cattle require more water than the wild herbivores that are native to the region. This means the cattle have to move back and forth between grazing areas and watering holes. As they do, they animals trample grasses and compact the soil surface. In contrast, gazelles, elands, and other native herbivores obtain most (if not all) of the water they require fro, the plants they eat. They also are better at conserving water; little is lost in feces, compared to cattle. Research indicates, under federally regulated standards, ranches started and are composed of antelope, zebra, giraffe, ostrich, and other native herbivores, but cattle as a controlled group had some impressive results when it came to compared cost and yielding meat. Also, the range conditions were noted to have improved, not deteriorating. So far, results are exceeding expectations. Native herds are also increasingly and steadily and yielding meat, without harming the environment. There are still some vexing problems to overcome.

African tribes have their own idea of what constitutes good meat, and some tribes view cattle as the symbols of wealth in their society. Most of the World’s prime agricultural land has long been exploited for crop or livestock production. Almost 21 percent of the Earth’s land is being used for agriculture, and another 28 percent is reported to be potentially suitable for cropland or grazing land. However, it potential productivity is so low the conversion may not be worth the cost. By the year 2050, nearly 80 percent of the Earth’s citizens will live in urban settings, and the human population is expected to increase by about 3 billion people. America will need about 25 percent more lands to grow enough food on to feed the citizens. However, if traditional farming practices continue as they are practiced today, most of our food will have to be imported from other countries. At present, throughout the United States or America, over 80 percent of the land that is suitable for raising crops. Historically, some 15 percent of that land has been laid waste by poor management practices, drought related conditions on land, and drought-sustaining atmospheric circulation patterns. However, many innovators are now using warehouses, abandon buildings and high-rises structures as a place to get beyond the obstacles of climate change. These projects are called Vertical farms. Vertical farms are here to solve inherent issues of growing food crops in unpredictable climates, in drought and disease prone fields, and reduce pesticide usage and death from farm workers getting heat stroke.

Food can be grown year-round, in high-rise urban buildings, reducing the need for the carbon emitting transport of fruit and vegetables. The planting racks, represent crops, in a vertical farm and can be fed nutrients, by water conserving, soil, which is free hydroponic systems, and lit by LEDs that mimic sunlight, and will dramatically reduce evaporation of the water, from the soil. These vertical farms are easy to control by drones or other management software, to ensure choreograph rotating racks of plants, so each member gets the same amount of light, and direct water pumps, to ensure moister and nutrients are evenly distributed. It could make food supplies more secure because production can continue even when extreme weather strikes, which will prevent price shock and supply shock. And as long as farmers are careful to protect their indoor farms from pests, vertical farming needs no herbicides or insecticides. They also conserve water far better than earthbound farming. Meanwhile, until American learns to use technology to control their problems, instead of letting problems control them, Mother Nature might look out for them. This winter rainy season , of 2014-2015, is expected to bring California some much needed rain, as we will experience Southern Oscillation. Southern Oscillation is basically a fluctuation in atmospheric pressure, at the Earth’s surface—specially, at Indonesia, Northern Australia, and the Southern Pacific. This area of the Southern Hemisphere is the World’s largest reservoir of warm water, and warmer, moisture-laden air raises here than anywhere else. Rainfall is also heavy here, and it releases much of the heat energy that drives the World’s air circulation system.

Periodically, warm surface waters, of the western equatorial Pacific move eastward. The massive displacement of the warm water affects the prevailing winds, which accelerate the eastward movement. The movement is enough to displace the cooler waters of the Humboldt Current and prevent upwelling, causing a supply shock to the fishing industry because, and has catastrophic effects on anchoveta-eating birds as well as on the anchoveta industry. The interactions among the atmosphere, oceans, and land profoundly influence the World of life. There is an interrelatedness of ocean surface temperatures, the atmosphere, and the land is especially clear through studies of the El Nino Southern Oscillation. This recurring phenomenon is accompanied by abnormal drought conditions, in many parts of the World. Every two to seven years, the warm reservoir of water located in the Southern Hemisphere, which is the World’s largest supply, and the associated heavy rainfall move eastward. This causes the prevailing surface winds, in the western equatorial Pacific, to increase speed. The stronger wins have a more pronounced effect on dragging the ocean surface waters eastward. Upper ocean currents are affected to the extent that the westward transport of water slows down and the eastward transport increases. More warm water, in the vast reservoir moves east—and so on in a feedback loop between the ocean and the atmosphere. The rainfall pattern in the Pacific Ocean and Indian Oceans are massively dislocated when El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) warm episodes occur.

The first two months of 1998 were the warmest and wettest, at the time, in the 104-year record of temperatures and precipitation measurements for the contiguous 48 states. In the rainy season of 1997-1998, for the three-month period (December – February), the normal precipitation value for the city of Sacramento, California is 6.35 inches. California experienced vital monsoon rains. Month after month (December, January and February), record rainfall drenched the arid and semiarid coast and valleys of California in the winter of 1997-1998. This winter’s figure was 7.96 inches, compared with the record 8.5 inches in 1932-1933. To continue show the power of Southern Oscillation–California and North Dakota had their wettest February on record for the winter of 1997-1998. Florida, Maryland, Nevada, Rhode Island, and Virginia had their second wettest February, since records began in 1895. And the warmest February, on record, too place in much of the upper Midwest and parts of the East, for this time period, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. Due to the temperature increase, during historically cool months, there was a Nationwide energy savings were estimated at 10 percent (i.e., 10 percent lower heating costs as compared to normal winter). These are the patterns one would typically expect the strong El Nino on top of the continuing gradual increase of temperature and precipitation set the stage for many all-time state records. Numerical models are now being used to study these and other episodes of climate change a few seasons in advance. More reliable forecasting should follow when more and better observations are made of the interrelated systems of the ocean, land, and atmosphere.

Forecasters are still calling for a 65 percent chance of El Nino conditions being met, in the next few months of 2014, by the Northern Hemisphere this winter–with a 55 percent chance El Nino Southern Oscillation will start during September, October, or November. El Niño might increase rainfall, in California, and bring relief to the severe drought there. In the western United States, drought often brings a double punch: water shortfall plus wildfires. The West of America, as a whole has experienced a relatively quiet fire season thus far, with fewer than 3 million acres burned between January 2014 and September 2014, compared to the 10-year average of 5.4 million acres typically consumed by fire. However, California is well ahead of its five year average fire patterns. A substantial increase in fire size and area burned in the Southwest over the past 30 years; these trends are projected to continue increasing in the future. The reason is intuitive: warmer temperatures, earlier springs, and faster snowmelt are driving the increases, and these trends are expected to continue along with increasing greenhouse gas concentrations. One day, humans are going to have to grow up and learn to manage themselves and the planet. Law and all forms of law are only deductions made by the intelligence from the right instincts of the people’s heart. The crime of having been maligned unjustly–resources are scares, in all countries, and very few materials are discarded, expect for in America. Affluent counties, like the United States of America, especially, has a throwaway mentality, which prevails.

Human capital uses something once, discards it, and then buys another one. Also, instead of repairing cars, many consumers drive them until they fall apart and buy a new one. In some countries, a person is lucky just to have one car, and in China, the license plate alone cost $5000.00 and many cars cost more than some homes. Only the wealthy people in China have nice cars. As a result of consumer mentality– I have to have the best and newest product, billions of metric tons of solid wastes are dumped, burned, and buried annually, in the United States alone. In 2013, Americans generated about 255 million tons of trash. All of this trash is then taken to a landfill, where it is stored, until it decomposes. However, the problem is that much of the trash is toxic and is polluting the land and the water and making animals sick, who are feeding off of the waste. In addition, it is estimated that 60 billion beverage containers are part of the 255 million tons of trash, and one half of solid waste are paper (so much for the politically motivated plastic bag ban). Many people believe that paper bags are an alternative to plastic, but half of the waste in landfills is paper. Furthermore, it takes more than 500,000 trees, which produce oxygen that cleans the air, just to supply the Sunday newspaper. Every week, if everyone in the United States of America recycled even one out of ten newspapers, we could save 25 million trees a year. Besides this, using recycled paper reduces air pollution that results from paper manufacture by 95 percent. And recycling paper takes 30 to 50 percent less energy than making new paper.

Associated with the throwaway mentality is a serious issue that is unique in the World of life what to do with solid wastes. I thought it will be a good idea to haul solid waste into space, and drop it back down to Earth, so it could disintegrate when it hits the atmosphere, but I am not sure if NASA or American Airlines likes this plan, as it could have some unintended consequences. Instead of recycling materials, as is done in natural ecosystems, we bury them in landfills or burn them in incinerators. Incinerators add some toxic pollutants to the air and leave a highly toxic ash that must be disposed of safely. In any event, land available and acceptable for landfills is scares because landfills eventually leak, and pose a threat to groundwater. A transition from a throw away mentality to one based on recycling and reuse is feasible. Find ways to repurpose items before you end their lifecycle. It is affordable, and we have the technology to do it. Citizens can influence manufactures by refusing to buy good that are lavishly wrapped and boxed, packaged in indestructible containers, and designed for a one-time use. Remember McDonalds burgers used to come in those cute boxes? Well, now they are simply wrapped in wax paper. Individuals can ask the local post office to turn off their daily flow of junk mail (if we really want to save the environment, it goes beyond banning plastic bags). Unsolicited mail wastes an astounding amount of paper, time, and energy—and it means higher postage rates and gasoline prices for everyone, also adds more pollution to the air and landfills.

Finally, individuals can urge local governments to develop well-designed, large-scale resources recovery centers. Such a plant has been operating in Saugus, Massachusetts. With such systems, existing dumps and landfills would be urban mines, from which usable materials can be stored. After all, the will of sovereigns is generally admitted as a law. Bitter is the agony of self-reproach, where misery follows hardness of heart! Crack Cocaine is known as the humble man’s cocaine. It is a central nervous system stimulator. Crack Cocaine became popular in the 1980s mostly in urban areas because of marketing, availability, and affordability of the substance. Crack cocaine has been reported to have a powerful and fast intoxicating effect. The high from crack cocaine is descried as immediate, intense and euphoric, it is said to make one feel powerful, and it is extremely addictive. Crack cocaine is made from powder cocaine, water, ammonia or sodium, and bicarbonate also known as baking soda. The mixture is then boiled, filtered, clouded, dried, and cut into small rocks or pebbles. These small rocks, crack cocaine, are typically white or tan. Crack cocaine is generally ingested by crushing the rocks into a fine powder and snorting, mixing with water and using an instrument to inject the solution in the bloodline, and it can also be smoked in a glass pipe. People who use needles to inject crack cocaine run the risk of getting diseases that can be deadly from sharing unclean instruments.

Crack cocaine is most often smoked. Crack cocaine got its name because of the crackling sounds it makes when it is being smoked in a glass pipe. It makes some feel energized, and they do not know the dangerous impact from the drug. Crack cocaine or rocks increase the body temperature, blood pressure and heart rate. Use of rocks or crack can cause heart attacks, respiratory failure, stroke, seizures, abdominal pain and nausea. Crack can also cause sudden death, upon first use, or shortly after. Crack rocks are between 75 up to 90 percent cocaine. Because of the low cost crack cocaine, it is also of interest to young suburban kids and young adults. Crack cocaine has been used by 8.6 million people 12 and over and 6.9 percent of people between the ages of 18 -25 admitted to using this dangerous substance. Crack cocaine is dangerous because it causes a short intense high, and shortly after is followed by a forceful downheartedness, which leaves the users with a robust and ceaseless thirst for more of the drug. Within four years, 25 percent of the people who use cocaine become addicted. Crack cocaine also has some very powerful side effects. Smoking crack cocaine is dangerous because of the toxic fumes, the damages it can do to the lungs and body, and because the pipe can burn one’s lip. There is no safe way to ingest crack. Crack can also cause long term damage to the heart, liver and kidneys. It is also said to cause sleep deprivation, loss of appetite and malnutrition.

People who use crack cocaine are said to behave aggressively, violent, and bizarre. It has been suggested that people will go as far as murdering someone just for another rock. Crack cocaine also cause hallucinations, irritability, panic, and psychosis, shortness of breath, constricted blood vessels, and bleeding. Furthermore, Crack cocaine has been illegal since the 1914 tax act because it can be destructive, highly addictive and extremely dangerous. 90 percent of cocaine that makes it to the United States comes from Columbia. There are about 567,000 known users of crack cocaine in the United States. It has been reported that yearly about 42,000 people are admitted to hospital emergency rooms because of injuries from crack cocaine. Crack cocaine is also associated with prostitution, violent crimes and gang related crimes. Another warning about using crack cocaine is it comes with other harsh punishments. Since the war on drugs went into effect, the sentences for those who abuse crack cocaine more stringent than it is for those who use pure cocaine. Cocaine users are generally more affluent, so they can afford pure cocaine, snow. It is called snow because it is so pure and white, as it does not have fillers in it like crack cocaine does. In fact, if one is arrested with 28 grams of crack cocaine, they will serve a mandatory minimum five-year prison sentence. However, if cocaine users are arrested to trigger the threshold for the mandatory minimum five-year prison sentence, that person must be caught with 500 grams of pure cocaine. Some say the higher penalty is to teach a lesson, but others believe that this is economic discrimination.

Critics say that the law goes easier on cocaine offenders because they are typically well-off, whereas users of crack cocaine are considered less important to society because they generally earn less, and may not contribute as much financially to the system. Many youths are addicted to Marijuana these days. The drug is viewed as cool and safe because it is natural, but it may be a very dangerous drug. Marijuana can make a pre-existing mental problem worse, it could create a new psychotic mental issue, or it may cause a drug-induced psychosis. Marijuana causes a dysfunction in the brain, which cause a person to feel intoxicated, or unstable. Marijuana can make a person feel a loss of inhibition, confusion, unable to concentrate, and it can also affect motor skills, which make it unsafe to drive or operate heavy machinery. Marijuana can also make one’s breath smell foul and cause one to extremely over eat, even when they are not hungry. It can basically put you in a trace, where you are unaware of what you are doing and you may not even remember the next day. A lot of marijuana is laced with even more dangerous drugs like PCP, speed, cocaine and more. There have been cases of people ending up in the hospital from smoking a bad batch of marijuana. Some have never even regained their total cognitive function. Marijuana also causes people to hear things and see things that are not there. So it can be very dangerous. People who smoke marijuana all the time are called burnouts. They do not notice it, but others can tell that their minds are gone because they cannot control the drug, and they are slow and lethargic. And marijuana is addictive. The more you smoke it, the more you will crave it. Also, if you are stopped while being high on marijuana, you can go to jail and lose your license.

Marijuana can cause mental problems or make mental problems worse. Please be safe, and if you need to relax, talk to your doctor, they can help. “Any man who has the brains to think and the nerve to act for the benefit of the people of the country is considered a radical by those who are content with stagnation and willing to endure disaster,” William Randolph Hearst. Tyra Banks, and American Supermodel will tell you, if you have to pay to get a job, it is a scam. Therefore, does it make sense to go into debt over an education? You can simply get a job, work, save money, and when you have enough money to pay for college, you can decide if you are happy with your career, still want to go to college, or you could use the money you saved as a down payment on a house or for a new car. College is a Gamble, much like playing the stock market, it can be risky and there is no guaranteed pay off. Students are graduating college, strapped with up to $100,000 in debt from education loans, and unable to find jobs. 13.5 million people in America are actively seeking jobs. Many of these people thought going to college means they have a right to jobs and are better qualified than others, but that many not be the case. Steve Jobs, the former CEO of Apple, only attended one semester of college, but helped Apple to reach record high profits and under his direction, many new and innovative products have been produced. Dean Kamen is another great example; he attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and dropped out right before graduation. Mr. Kamen went on to invent the Segway and hold more than 80 patents. Furthermore, David Karp, at the age of 15, dropped out of the elite Bronx High School of Science and went on to develop Tumblr, which is a very popular social networking tool.

In China, the reality that college may not be a great investment is also starting to set in. 6.8 million students are graduating from college in China this year, and many of them are learning a few new lessons. Expects are unsure if the job market can support so many graduates, and these new graduates have to compete with the 2 million graduates, who did not find jobs last year. However, the Chinese Academy of Social Science (CASS) said 89.6 percent of graduates found jobs within 6 months. CASS also reported that the salary for these jobs was 2,500 yuan, which is slightly under the 3,000 yuan a month these graduates expected. Nevertheless, some are saying it is very hard to find a job because of the 1999 Education Expansion Program, which sent millions of new students to the University. Inadvertently, these graduates have flooded the job market, as the economy has not grown enough to support them. Professionals are saying, it may be necessary to lower one’s expectations, take the lower wages, gain experience, and learn skills and adapt to working with others. With the job markets in America and in China not able to fulfill everyone’s expectations, Occupy Wall Street is spreading to China. 8 December 2011, 3,000 workers from Southern China’s city of Shenzhen, fearful of benefits not being guaranteed because of a recent acquisition of U.S. Company Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, demonstrated their concerns by walking off the job. Typically, in China, Chinese people do not oppose the government; it is unheard of to go up against the government, so this is very concerning.

China would like for the U.S. and E.U. to take a more aggressive and long-term approach to their debt issues, so they do not keep spreading to the rest of the world. In contrast to the complaints of some, China still appears to be doing well. In fact, China was imported $750 Billion, which created 18 million jobs worldwide. China has also attracted more than $700 Billion from 347 foreign companies to invest in China. While American is losing jobs, China is still growing. Perhaps instead of the American government spending $121.2 Billion on an unemployment fund, that fund should be used to create government jobs, so if and when people are laid off, they can turn to the government employment fund and get a job. That way, displaced workers are contributing to the economy, learning skills, and paying taxes and able to pay their bills. Also, college does not guarantee success. With Universities like California State University being $650 Million and debt and fees keep going up, I would worry about the quality of education my child is receiving. If you want to go to college, go, but understand, you may not find a job upon graduation. In America, 22.4 percent of college graduates are not working, 22 percent are working in jobs, which do not require a degree, and 55.6 percent of graduates are employed at skill level. College is a great tool, but some of the World’s most successful people have not graduated from college. It is important to keep your options open, so if you can find a great job, without going to college, take it. It may also be a benefit to get a certificate or learn a trade. All I am saying is do not gamble, if you have other options. Not only do you have to study in college, but it is a competitive environment.

Along with other students, the administration, staff and some of the professors may not want to see you graduate and they will go through extremes to may obtaining an education a very unpleasing and almost impossible situation. If the work does not challenge you, and they want you to drop out, students, staff and professors will team up against you. If they cannot get you to react, they will cut your funding. So just keep that in mind. If you go to college and collect debt, you may not be able to buy a home later in life, student loans can also mess up your credit and it may delay starting a family. “We hold that no person or set of persons can properly establish a standard of expression for others,” says William Randolph Hearst. No one can send his time properly who does not live by some rule. You guys are rude, you will see someone crossing the street in the cross walk and will almost run them over and wave as if you did nothing wrong. You hit someone, you could kill them. Also, you guys act like heathens, you wake up in the morning cursing and saying rude things, even if women and children are around. And then many of you act stupid. And I must say, with how close you guys are to dogs, sleeping with them, kissing them in the mouth and putting wigs and dressed on your dog, leaves me to believe you guys are participating in bestiality. The Bible, which is the word of God, your creator reports, “Cursed is the person who has sexual relations with any animal,” Deuteronomy 27:21.

Supposing that all human souls are equal; yet the very design of the different machines in which they are enclosed is to super-induce a temporary difference on their original equality; a difference adapted to the different purposes for which they are designed by Providence in the transitory state. When those purposes are at an end, this difference will be at an end. Both God and Nature have designed a very apparent difference in the minds of both sexes, as wee as in the peculiar beauties of their persons. Were it not, so their offices would be confounded, and the women would not perhaps so readily submit to those domestic ones in which it is their province to shone, and the men would be allotted the distaff, or the needle. Remember back in the day, when you wanted the contact information for a business or person, you would pick up the telephone and dial 411? Well, you will really understand this next passage after we tie the conclusion with that statement. “Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as you were told to, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody, reports ” Thessalonians 4.11.

Being Human throughout History

Do not be sad because it is over, rejoice that you had a chance. The human being is a blind being, who dreams that one can see. We think the ultimate goal of the humanology is to improve the condition of all individuals. A fully human person appreciates his or her own uniqueness and individuality. Many parents teach their children to try and emulate some imaginary perfect human being. Therefore, each person is unique, and a healthy person appreciates their own special qualities. Some people are more gifted at living than others, they do have an effect on those around them, but the process stops there, because there is no way of describing in technical terms just what it is they do. Therefore, not all people are created equal. A fully human person is aware of the common bond he or she has with all other people. Humans know they are like other people, in having physical and emotional needs, which must be expressed and satisfied. Humans look for the common thread in all human experiences. The average person recognizes that there are differences, such as nationality or religion, and they are artificially imposed and less important than the similarities among humankind. You are all more alike, than not, but some have healthier minds and attitudes about life and the human condition. A fully human person knows that he or she is fully responsible for their own existence. Most people evaluate the teachings of society, making an honest decision to reject what is considered undesirable or dehumanizing. People tend to dislike conflict and crime, but they love peace and happiness. A rational person then bases their personal philosophy and life on their decision and will take full responsibility for their actions.

A complete human does not demand perfection, but tries to fulfill your own potential. Rational people understand that they will make mistakes and accept the responsibility for their actions, try to correct them and move on. Do not say sorry, because you are not, simply correct your actions and try not to repeat those mistakes. Success or failure does not prove that you are superior or inferior, to other people, it simply means you got lucky or have more work to do. As Rebecca Jarvis says, “Never, never, never give up.” And never get too comfortable, you can always be replaced. A true human values people above material goods. A rational person rejects any value system that places the accumulation of wealth above the well-being of other individuals. Rational humans feel strongly that human rights are far more important than material rights. These people recognize are fully human and they recognize that they have a capacity for enjoyment and pleasure. Real people see that life is fun, and they enjoy living. They are thankful to go to school, work and interact with others. They are not afraid of pleasure and these people seek to share the happiness with others. Rational people realize that life must be a balance between seriousness and fun. Good humans can be innocent and pure like children, and open to spontaneous enjoyment of life. A fully human person tries to be real and open in their relationships with others. Good people are willing to risk another person’s reaction to open their expression of feelings. Rational people use openness and authenticity, not to manipulate or control, but to share knowledge of yourself with others. “See I am tired of all the games, which you seem to like to play, see what you need to do is forget you knew my name. I am a play you to left because your words are hurting me. See I am never even said that I am here all by myself,” says Aaliyah.

A physically healthy and mature person, who does not engage in sexual activity is called celibate. Celibacy is actually a form of sexual expression because an individual makes a conscious decision not to engage in sexual behavior, this decision in itself is an expression of one’s sexuality. There are two different forms of sexuality. There is complete celibacy in which a person does not masturbate, nor do they have interpersonal sexual contact. Partial celibacy is a little different. With partial celibacy, a person does not engage in interpersonal sexual activity, but they do masturbate. There are many different reasons why people are celibate, some people are celibate because of their religion. Some people are celibate because they are saving their virginity for marriage, so it is a moral obligation. And, others are celibate, until they meet someone who is up to their standards. Then there are others who are celibate because they have been sexually abused, or they do not want to confusing love with sex. Also, celibacy is the best form of birth control and it is also very safe, you will not contract anything because you are not sexually active. Some people suffer from Mysophobia. People who suffer from mysophobia are individuals who are obsessed with cleanliness and defeating bacteria. The human body is a major source of bacteria and sex, with multiple partners, can be very dirty. All of the fluids, and juices and openings used for sexual interaction are gross to some people. Hebrews 13.4 reports, let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

People are so cautious about where they eat, what they eat and the things they put in their mouth, but they turn around and perform oral sex on random people. Also, I think you really need to know someone before you have sex with them. You would not go and lick a random person’s figures, so why put their penis, anus or vagina in your mouth? There is another group of people, who do not have sex, but they are not physically attracted to anything or anyone. These people are called Asexual. They may be heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual, but just have not bloomed. Only one present of the people in the World are Asexual. It is possible that, at some point in their lives, Asexual people may develop their sexuality and find someone they are sexually attracted to. One famous person, who is partially celibate, it Taylor Momsen, former star of Gossip Girl, and lead singer of the Pretty Reckless; Taylor Momsen is healthy, but she prefers to masturbate. Taylor Momsen reports,” I think women should equally be allowed to pleasure themselves as much as men. There’s something wrong with the world. I just think men and women should be treated equally. I’m not a whore for masturbating.” Therefore, one must protect themselves and do what is best for them. If you do not want to have sex, do not. Do not let anyone pressure you into having sex because they may break up with you after they get what they want, so make sure you are ready and as always consult your doctor. “Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens,” says Jimi Hendrix.

I suspect Ancient Egypt is older than 5000 Before Christ because there was life in California 14,000 years ago, and it cannot possibly predate Egypt. Akasha (Maat) was originally from Uruk, or modern day Iraq. She was born 7000 years ago, long before the first pharaoh, Menes, built the first pyramid. At a young age Akasha married Enkil, King of Kemet, which would later become Egypt. Akasha and her husband Enkil wanted their subjects to turn away from cannibalism and encouraged them to eat grains by farming. Ancient Egyptians always believed in natural law that embraced social justice and morality. This rule over the land was supplemented by decrees and laws of the kings, which were kept in writing and archived. The following statement by Horehheb is older than the Christian Bible: (1323-1295 BC) has been recorded, I gave rulers to their face (the officials) and added laws to their collection. Therefore, laws are in the New Kingdom were cited as ‘Pharaoh’s Law’ or began with the introduction ‘Pharaoh reports’. In any case, the legal idea of Maat– goddess of justice, the daughter of the Sun God Ra, Maat personified order, truth, and justice among both gods and humans. As the embodiment of the harmony of the universe, she was considered to possess knowledge of the original gods on Earth. Maat’s symbol, her hieroglyphic sign was the symbol depicted on the scales at the judgment of the dead, and it was weighed against the deeds of the deceased, symbolized as the all Seeing Eye. The weighing of the heart decided the fate of the dead in the afterlife. Maat was also the protective goddess of the judges. Even the laws and actions of the king were answerable to Maat and had to be in harmony with her, as this was vital for the country’s order and economic growth. Maat and the officials appointed by the pharaoh were legally bound to Maat, who represented the ethical basis of the structure of the state. The high-ranking vizier, as well as the low-ranking scribe, was considered to be a keeper of Maat.

The vizier was the most important officials of the state and the second-highest judge, after the Pharaoh. His job was to supervise the observance of the laws of the country. The vizier was also responsible for making offerings to the gods, by keeping the gods happy, the land was happy. At the judgment of the dead, Horus also known as a creator god, the falcon who flew up at the beginning of time—weighs the heart as the seat of the soul and good and bad deeds, against the feather of Maat. If the deceased spoke the truth in front of Osiris– Osiris was the Egyptian god of the underworld, although he was also worshipped as a fertility, resurrection, and vegetation god. He was married to Isis, a sky goddess. He was father to Horus, the god of sky, and protector of the dead; then the scale dipped in his favor to the side of Maat. Crimes not punished in this World could be the subject of the judicial hearing in the next. People only think they are getting away with murder and that they are god’s people, but there is more to the story. The dispensation of justice was mainly the job of the vizier, but there were special cases that fell outside his sphere or responsibility, such as crime and theft of the royal necropolis (“I know nothing about this case, it is a matter of life and death”). When such a serious crime had been committed, the pharaoh ordered the vizier and high officials to examine the case. After the investigations were finished, the king received a written report. He discussed it with his advisers and passed a judgment suited to the seriousness of the crime. In addition to royal jurisdiction, royal official made sure their law was upheld on a on a local level. Royal officials performed their duties alone or with fellow judges, in a council of elders. Witnesses had to give evidence and after the jury had met, judgment was passed and the protocols of the proceedings were handed over to the vizier’s office, depending on the severity of the case. Some rulings will be handed down, in the next lifetime, you did not get away. “Above all else, guard your heart for it affects everything else you do,” says William Randolph Hearst

Let me now, therefor, turn directly to the question of the European individual and, for a start, cite the observations of the German psychologist, at Harris International, throughout whose work the term ‘individual’ to designate the psychological process of achieving individual wholeness, everyone is required by society to play some specific role. As the traditional structure of the Ancient Egyptian state dissolved at the end of the Old Kingdom (2686-2181 BC), Egypt entered a period of political and economic uncertainty, with no central figure to lead the city; at the close of the 6th Dynasty, Egypt suffered social and political decline. Egypt was the World’s most powerful empire. Insurrections wreaked and divided the central government in Memphis. For more than a century, the country was torn apart by continuing social unrest– bad behavior is contagious. Contagious behavior means that bad behavior can and will excite similar emotions or conduct in others, political anarchy and invasions by Bedouin peoples, very little is known about this period, except that it saw the growth of political power. The monarchs, whose positions had been hereditary since the 5th Dynasty (2494-2345 BC), reigned supreme in their constituencies. Decline of the monarchy—the old Kingdom reached the height of its glory under the great pyramid-building pharaohs of the 4th Dynasty—Khufu, Khafra and Menkaura.

By the 6th Dynasty, the Egyptian state was in terminal decline, as the power of the pharaoh weakened. The nomarchs, since the late 5th Dynasty, the provincial governors—had gained more power and began to demonstrate their independence by building their homes in provinces and styles of their desire. The officials, up to the middle of the 5th Dynasty, all high ranking officials were appointed by all the king and were under his direct control. The rewards were high. Ptahshpses (circa 2445-2421 BC), was given this magnificent mastaba home at Abusir. The trouble began with Pepy II (2278-2184 BC), his old age and long reign caused him to lose control of the country. Many temples were freed from taxations and the chief administrators of the provinces no longer had to pay tributes. The country became bankrupt because the government could not collect taxes are manufactured to produce revenue to run the Kingdom. The pharaohs, residing at Memphis, now ruled all of Egypt in the name only. Their actual influence was limited to a rather small area, as the Delta, too, was independent. All of this led to a rapid turnover of rulers—in the mere 50 years of the 7th and 8th Dynasties there were more than 25 kings. The provincial governors of Herakleopolis took overpower in the north and founded the 9th and 10th Dynasties in 2160 BC, claiming sovereignty over all of Egypt. However, a second power base developed in Thebes, and the local nobles founded the 11th Dynasty in 2125 BC. Both princely houses assumed the title of king of all Egypt—and with this, a fight for supremacy began that would last for decades.

While the Herakleopolitans tried to expel the immigrants from the Near East, the Thebans started to expand their territory from the Delta, under Intef I (2125-2112 BC) and Intef II (2112-2063 BC). The border of the northern part of their country was Thinis; any further expansion was opposed by the provincial governors of Asyut, who at that time, still supported Herakleopolis. Eventually, Mentuhotep II (2055-2004 BC) began to conquer Lower Egypt, reunify the country and found the Middle Kingdom. Provincial governors established their own armies comprising numerous Nubian mercenaries, a large colony of whom seems to have existed at Gebelein, about 30km (18 milmes) south of Thebes. The Nubians are depicted as having curly hair. And the demise of the emipre was the result of an implosion, the empire was ripped apart inside out, the exterior conflict was a distraction method. And Jehovah is a figure like satan, what he does not know, is he cannot predict, what he don’t know. You do not know the spirit of the Lord. “I sought to hear the voice of God and climbed the topmost steeple, but God declared: “Go down again – I dwell among the people.” And keep in mind, “Hearts are dust, hearts love remains, to love in hearts, what we leave behind will not die. The dead shall rise.”

Balancing Family and Work Version

Now that we are in the twenty-first century, about 63 percent of women with children have a stable career. Additionally, there are more homes with two parents working, about 50 percent of households have two working parents and only 3.4 of households have stay me dads. Working fathers work and average of 51 hours a week; which is about 11 hours more than a full-time job. Working mothers work an average 42 hours a week, and are paid about 25 percent less than men, who work the same hours and have the same career. Co-provider families are considered experimental, and they have problems that a single provider family does not have. There are more women in the work force, yet, they domestic responsibilities have not changed much at all. Working women are stilled expected to do the shopping, cook, take care of the kids, and preform house work. While working men mostly just work and hire people to do manly duties around the house like building the fence, remodeling the kitchen and gardening. Sometimes if they have a male son, then he will simply do the yard work, and the mother takes care of all other responsibilities. Many are saying that it is unjust that women continue to carry a disproportionate share of family responsibilities, and are paid less, for the same job. It is almost like working mothers only get time off when they are sleeping.

There have been improvements in men’s participation in childcare and other domestic responsibilities. In 2001, only 1.2 percent of fathers were stay at home dads, today that number is almost 4 percent. Even daytime television is starting to target stay at home dads by airing manly TV shows, in the morning and afternoon, and targeting men with cleaning products and hygiene products. Day time TV used to mostly target women and that is why there were so many soap operas on TV about ten years ago. In 1980, less than 15 percent of children were cared for by their fathers, today that number is up to 18 percent. Some of these days may be taking time off of work, just to support their working wife, and spend time with their children. However, when both parents are home, women are usually expected to deal with the children. It is estimated that women spend about 33 hours a week doing housework, and men spend about 20 hours, but I bet working men spend far less than 20 hours a week on housework. Working men usually do not do housework, unless they know their wife is overloaded and the house is a disaster. And, even though so women earn more than men, men still expect the women to do the housework. I think whoever makes the most should be the one to delegate housework. In addition, men think that working women are a threat because they are competing with their husband and not taking care of their children, like the men expect them to. Psalm 112:7 reports, righteous people are not afraid of unscrupulous news. Their minds are stable. They trust the Lord.

When both parents are working, it does create conflict. Childcare is very expensive, about $500 a month per child. Also, more parents would like to see subsides day care for working parents with high incomes, and maybe a babysitter in the corporate office, so it is easier to deal with children. You can take them to work with you, and drop them off in the day care center located in your office. Sweden is actually believed to be the most family friendly and progressive environment in the industrial World. To keep balance in your home and peace in the family, just be flexible. Try to understand where your spouse is coming from. The keys to success start with self-confidence, which is the belief that one can effectively carry out an activity or reach an objective. Changes are not going to happen overnight, but let your family and corporation know you wishes, but be very polite and just say, “These are some options I would like to consider in the future.” Until then, just keep in mind that you are whole, perfect, complete, fair, rich, simple, alive, beautiful, good, unique, happy, honest, self-sufficient, and very intelligent. Psalms 41.1-2 reports, blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the Lord delivers in times of trouble. The Lord will protect and preserve your life. When you are professional and there is good coming from inside of you, people are likely to listen because you are intrinsically motivating them and setting a good example.

Matthew 12.35 reports, good people bring out good things from the good stored in them. Remember, tied to quality work is responsibility, a good attitude, and good salaries, promotions, and bonuses. By following these guidelines, you can avoid taking spontaneous risk. I have done so many things in my life. Evil things, perhaps. But never inattentively, never wastefully…was I wrong? It is okay to admire other people and be respectful and smile. You can appreciate the beauty of another without being angry, bitter, or jealous. James 5.16 says to pray for each other and wish people well. You get what you put out in the World. Perhaps you are unhappy because you make a lot of other people unhappy. Your bad vibes, thoughts, actions and words are the reason you feel like you are less of a person. To be happy, you have to love yourself and find something that makes you feel connected to reality. On a personal level, psychologists have succeeded in teaching some people to control their anger and aggressive impulses. Anger control is a personal strategy for reducing or curbing anger. The key to self-control and keeping calm is to figure out what is upsetting you. Do you have a mental issue or is there a legitimate reason for you to be so angry and project that anger on to others? A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly (Prov 14:25).

To figure out what is truly going on, to limit anger, people are advised to: define the problem as precisely as possible. Are you mad because he took your parking space, or are you mad because you work up too late and did not make it to work in time to get your favorite parking space? Secondly, make a list of all of the possible solutions to deal with your anger issues. For example, are mad at Buffy because she is annoyingly happy and pretty, or do you just wish you had the same qualities as Buffy, and instead of trying to be a better person, you just hate her? Next, think about some solutions to your problems. If you want to be more like Buffy, maybe you can get to know her and find out what she is doing to be so happy. Then, choose a solution to your problem. If you want that parking space, go to bed earlier and wake up on time. If you want to be as smart as Kurtis, then spend more time studying. In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. (James 2:17). And lastly, consider how successful the solution to your problem is and make adjustments if necessary. Taking these steps has helped many people to lessen tendencies toward child abuse, family violence, and other destructive outburst. There are also programs out there to help you deal with your anger issues talk to your doctor and I am sure they can help you. It is clear that there are a lot of mentally unhealthy people in society, they do not smile, and they are constantly spreading their unhappiness.

Isaiah 35:8 reports, a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it. However, there are still a lot of good people in society, who believe in being prosocial. Prosocial behavior is actions that are constructive, altruistic, or helpful for others. You have to notice others and care about their well-being. What would happen if you got beat up and were left lying in a pool of your own blood and people walk by and laughed at you? Would you want someone to stop? Or would you like them to ignore you and let you die? “In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 7:12). Another good idea is to take responsibility, do not be a victim; you are the architect of your own fate and happiness. Being angry with others will get you nowhere, try to be a good person, try to help others, and try to care. You have to do this with a true heart and no malice. It is okay to talk to other people and say nice things to them. Everyone wants to feel included, and clearly you do too, or else you would not be so angry and mean. “For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Galatians 5:14).
