Mayor Kevin Johnson Evading the Police!

Law does not seem like law at all when one knows the maker of it. Sacramento, California used to be a pleasant farming community, a place people wanted to raise a family and retire. However, all that has changed. Mayor Kevin Johnson was elected in 2008, and since then the City of Sacramento has become a corrupt third World country many are now embarrassed to call home. Sacramento has become a place where you no longer trust elected officials to kiss your baby in a holiday parade. Sacrament has become a place where money and race are used to determine your career aptitude, and a place where city and county workers ignore document, send out citations and countless forms and threats just to bother people they do not like. Sacramento has quickly become a cult of thugs and criminals. People pretend not to see or hear the crimes that are going on, as if they are tone deaf and blind.

The crime in this city of Sacramento, California, USA is up by 40 percent, and many are wondering why? However, all you have to do is look at the example being set by the leaders and the answers are clear. People know that you can get away with harassing, annoying, and attacking people they do not like and that the police will do nothing about it because they do not have the resources to investigate. Not only that, but the Mayor of Sacramento, Kevin Johnson has been violating all kinds of laws and regulations and his antics are catching on. Not only did the Mayor, Kevin Johnson, used $258 million of tax payer funds, without the public being allowed to vote on it, to knock down and existing structure, and build a colosseum, but he also used over $500 million in private funds do to so also.

Mind you, State Wokers, in the recent past were forced to workdays they were not paid for and take pay cuts and have not seen a dime of that money returned. And the long-term unfunded liabilities, in Sacramento, grew by another $102 million in the past years and now are at $2.5 million and ignoring that is willfully and knowingly reckless. And to make matter worse, the man being allowed to bankrupt the city of Sacramento (remember the city of Stockton, California became bankrupt 25 February 2015), has a history of sexual assaults of children and women under his belt, and has also embezzled money from St. Hope Academy, and bankrupted the National Conference of Black Mayors. Kevin Johnson is a terror, an anarchist.

When allegations surfaced of Kevin Johnson molesting a 16 year old girl, he paid her and her family off for their silence and the police department dropped the investigation, no one likes to make rich celebrities and public officials pay for their crimes. So they Mayor Kevin Johnson used his position at St. Hope Academy to prey on more young children. In 2008, a student reported Kevin Johnson for inappropriate touching. After meeting with his lawyers, the student quickly recanted the story. However, in 2009, six more students reported Mayor Kevin Johnson for inappropriate sexual conduct, one of the students was offered $1,000.00 a month to keep silent. The others were threatened by lawyers with jail time and civil fines if they went forward with the matters.

Then, in 2015, a city employee claimed that she was also sexually harassed by Mayor Kevin Johnson, but this case was also silently closed out. So the Mayor of Sacramento has a history of having his way with people and money and walking away from these situations without suffering legal consequences. More recently, since crime rates in the city are 40 percent higher than they were lasted year, the Mayor scheduled an emergency meeting with the Sacramento Police Department on 11 October 2015, but then canceled the meeting and has not rescheduled. Some believe the Mayor is evading police because a video of a police investigation into the Mayor Kevin Johnson molesting a 16-year-old girl and the transcripts of an incriminating phone conversation surfaced the next day, and the news went wide.

As a result of the disorders, as they are not simply a problem of the racial ghetto or the city, as we have seen, they are social ills that have become endemic in our society and now affect every American, black or white, businessman or factory work, suburban commuter or slum dweller. None of us can escape the consequences of the continuing economic and social decay of the central city and the closely related problem of rural poverty. The convergence of these conditions in the racial ghetto and the resulting discontent and disruption threaten democratic values fundamental to our progress as a free society. As a result, Kerri Asbury, chairwoman of the Democratic Party of Sacramento, told the City of Sacramento on 13 October 2015, that Mayor Kevin Johnson should resign so the focus can remain on how to run the city and its needs, instead of focusing on Mayor Johnson’s myriad of sexual assaults on children and women and his impropriety.

There is currently a petition in the City of Sacramento, CA (California), to get Kevin Johnson to resign now. If Bill Clinton was impeached for allegedly having consequential oral copulation with an adult female, why is it that Mayor Kevin Johnson seems to be immune from facing the legal, social, and political consequences of his actions? The Mayor and his staff are wrong. A law firm has simply asked Mayor Kevin Johnson not to touch or hug anyone, and clearly he has a sex problem and problem with authority. However, increasing communication across racial lines to destroy stereotypes, halt polarization, end distrust and hostility and create common ground efforts toward common goals of public order and social justice are being eroded because the public feels powerless and much frustration that the capacity of our public and private institutions to respond to these problems.

Our great nation is not so easily intimidated. We propose these aims to fulfill our pledge of equality and to meet the fundamental needs of a democratic and civilized society, domestic peace, social justice, and urban centers that are citadels for the human spirit. Those who say that violence is necessary, that fear alone can prod the Nation to act decisively on behalf of racial minorities, they are too wrong. Violence and disorder compound injustice; they must be ended and they will be ended. Our strategy is neither blind repression nor capitulation to lawlessness. Rather it is the affirmation of common possibilities, for all, within a single society. Take your evil deeds out of my sight! Stop doing wrong, learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow. I look upon many of our courts as one huge machinery for legalizing injustice. When a witness has answered well, let the answer rest. Please sign the petition to get Mayor Kevin Johnson to Resign: https://www.change.org/p/city-of-sacramento-ca-kevin-johnson-resign-now

King’s World Class Ransom!

In the cold courts of justice, the dull head demands oaths, and holy writ proofs; but in the warm halls of the heart one single, untestified memory’s spark shall suffice to enkindle such a blaze of evidence, that all the corners of conviction are as suddenly lighted up as a midnight city by a burning building, which on every side whirls its reddened brands. Violent crime in Sacramento is up by as much as 40 percent, and as Mayor Kevin Johnson meets with the Sacramento Police Depart to figure out why, many people are pointing fingers at him. As you know, Mayor Kevin Johnson is one of the most corrupt politicians the city of Sacramento has ever seen. Not only is the Mayor suing the city of Sacramento, the Sacramento News and Review, using tax payer funds to conduct private business, bankrupted the National Conference of Black Mayors, has been using city email accounts for private business, has private employees parading around as public employee, embezzled money from a character school, sexually assaulted a city employee, and now that a credible case about Mayor Kevin Johnson molesting a minor have come forth, ESPN has decided to postpone a film called “Down in the Valley,” which is about Mayor Kevin Johnson saving the Sacramento King’s basketball team.

Mayor Kevin Johnson is one of the Key characters in the film, and along with director Jason Hehir, ESPN will reexamine the presentation and content. The Presentation for “Down in the Valley” will still happen at the Crest Theatre on K Street, in Sacramento, California, and in may or may not be hosted by the Sacramento King’s as planned. However, the film could change before it is released to a national audience to include the sexually molestation charges against Kevin Johnson. Charges where never filed by prosecutors in the case against Kevin Johnson molesting the teen because he and the teenager and Kevin Johnson entered into a $230,000.00 settlement in 1997, which included a payment to the teen, therapy, and a payment to the teen’s mother. The film has been delayed by vice president and executive producer of ESPN, John Dahl, and director Jason Hehir because they want to make it clear to the public that they “are not tone deaf and we are aware of the renewed focus on certain issues.” It has also been reported that director of “Down in the Valley” as well as the Sacramento King’s Basketball team has allegedly been told not to attend tonight’s premiere of the film. With these revelations, the term “Allegations” is now trending in Sacramento, California, United States, and there is now a judicial review of Kevin Johnson’s secret emails being processed. Justifiable is a suspicion that a man is capable of doing what he hath done already, and that it is possible for one who hath been a villain once to act the same part again.

A Dramatic and Beautiful Story from a Local Hero

Love and labor, are two beautiful old fashions that began long ago, with the first pair in Eden. Some people say love is hard to find, and maybe it is? However, when you find the right one, you just know. Some people are brave enough to admit they are in love and form solidarity of the race and the ties that are as real and vital as a physical fraternity. Men, who learn endurance, are they who call the whole World brother. Love is capricious and involuntary; reason cannot direct its choice, I am very happy to announce that Olympian, Tom Daley (age 21), from Plymouth, Devon, United Kingdom is engaged to marry Oscar-winning screenwriter, Dustin Lance Black (age 41), from Sacramento, California, United States. Love is a flower that grows in any soil. I am so impressed because the two are young and very successful and known around the World, and they did not let anything stand in the way of their love. It was not long ago that Dustin Lance Black thought about hurting himself because he did not think he would be able to admit who he truly was. And now he is an openly gay man and getting ready to marry a huge Olympic star and they are confident enough to share their romance with the World. This will open many doors for others who may have at one time been ashamed or afraid to admit who they are. This is a dramatic and beautiful story and one that I am happy to bring you, the audience. There is so much going on in the World right now that it is nice to take a moment out of the day and hear about something good, hear about two real heroes, two pioneers. Now the two can live a more joyful and purposeful life. Some boys are born lovers. From the time they can reach our from the nurse’s arms, they must be billing and cooing and choosing a mate. I wish these two young men the best. God be praised for love’s young dream. Real love and truth are stronger in the end than any evil or misfortune.

The Best to You Every Morning

Some it is better to be lucky than good. Success is waking up in the morning, whoever you are, whoever you are, however old or young, and bounding out of bed because there is something out there that you love to you, that you believe in, that you are good at—something that is bigger than you are, and you can hardly wait to get at it again today. Sometimes mistakes are blessings in disguise. Will Keith Kellogg was born 7 April 1860, and Dr. John Harvey Kellogg, co-invented flaked cereal. Although Will Keith Kellogg lacked a formal education beyond the sixth grade, he helped change the way people ate breakfast. In 1894, the two brothers were working on an experiment to introduce grain into the diet of sanitarium patients. Some of the grain got too wet, but they decided to roll it and toast it anyway. Voila—the Kellogg brothers had just invented flaked cereal. At first, they sold it by mail order, but in 1906 William Kellogg, believing he could serve a larger market, started his own company, the Battle Creek Toasted Corn Flake Company.

Today Kellogg produces 12 of the World’s top 15 most popular cereals. It sells 40% of the consumed in the World. How did it become so dominant? Kellogg’s entrepreneurial vision was grounded in a clever marketing strategy. For example, one early promotion promised a box of cereal to any woman who winked at her grocer. Marketing had been a priority: Think about how man of Kellogg’s cereal, slogans, or advertising jingles are in grained in your memory such as Tony the Tiger (Frosted Flakes) and Snap! Crackle! And Pop! (Rice Krispies). It is almost impossible to imagine growing up without Rice Krispies Treats—those gooey globs of rice are a rite of passage for nearly every American child. However, it takes more than marketing to build a dominant company. Kellogg’s success has also come from careful planning. Management must make many decisions: where to locate, how to finance current operations and expansion, and what new products to sell. Kellogg’s 29,790 employees manufacture its products in 18 countries and distribute them in 180 countries, with more than $14.59 billion in sales. Managing such a colossal business requires vast amounts of accounting information. Kellogg’s is the 59 World’s most valuable brands and is listed as one of American’s best employers.

Business Insight—You Must be B.I.G. Because You Got Me Hypnotized!

It is so simple that it is revolutionary. The fact is, this formula or principle is misunderstood enough, or overlooked enough, that it can truly be called magic by those who understand it. Ready? Here it is. You beat 50 percent of the people in American by working hard. You beat another 40 percent by being a person of honesty and integrity and standing for something. The last 10 percent is a dogfight in the free enterprise system. “They are the devil disguise,” is how CEO Barry Weinstein described factors. Unable to raise capital from bankers or outside investors, Barry Weinstein turned to factoring receivables. The arrangement was pricey: the factor charged interest of 5% a month, to a maximum of 13% of the total invoice, on any uncollected invoices that were factored. The deal became an endless cycle. Soon Barry Weinstein was factoring all new invoices to get the cash to pay the interest on the older factored invoices. Give the man credit. Like most of us, John Galbreath receives piles of unsolicited, “preapproved” credit card applications in the mail. John Galbreath does not just toss them out, though. In April of 1995, he filled out a credit card application on which he stated that he was 97 years old and had no income, no telephone, and no Social Security number. In a space inviting him to let the credit card company pay off his other credit card balances, John Galbreath said he owed money to the Mafia.

Back came a credit card and a letter welcoming John Galbreath to the fold with a $1,500.00 credit limit. John Galbreath had requested the card number under a false name, John C. Reath, an alias under which he had received two other credit cards—earning exemplary credit. John C. Reath might be a bit long in the tooth (old; absent conclusive documentation), but it seems he paid his bills on time. Failure to observe the foregoing internal control procedures contributed to the Great Salad Oil Swindle. In this case, management intentionally overstated its salad oil inventory, which was stored in large holding tanks. Three procedures contributed to overstating the overstating the oil inventory: (1) Water added to the bottom of the holding tanks caused the oil to float to the top. Inventory-taking crews who viewed the holding tanks from the top observed only salad oil, when, in fact, as much as 37 out of 40 feet of many of the holding tanks contained water. (2) The company’s inventory records listed more holding tanks that it actually had. The company repainted numbers on the tanks after inventory crews examined them, so the crews counted the same tanks twice. (3) Underground pipes pumped oil from one holding tank to another during the inventory taking; therefore, the same salad oil was counted more than once. Although the salad oil swindle was unusual, it demonstrates the complexities involved in assuring that inventory is properly counted.

Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered with failure, then to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in darkness that knows not victory nor defeat. People always have two conflicting bents when it comes to their work: The first is the drive to have. It pushes people to focus on what they can get out of their jobs—a higher salary, a bigger office, greater status, a more better position. The second is the desire to be. It prompts people to think about what they can give to their organizations—their very best to ensure that everyone succeeds. Formula for Success: Instruction + Example x Experience = Success. The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior! He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me, who saves me from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from violent men you rescued me. Therefore, I will praise you among the nations O LORD; I will sing praises to your name. He gives his king great victories; he shows unfailing kindness to anointed. The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

The Two Great Teachers: Nature and Love

It was not long before he was smiling and enjoying life. I have thought more of my daydreams are more extended and magnificent, but they want (as the painters call it) keeping. It is okay to spend time daydreaming, you are the architect of your future, and wishing for what could be is great; get busy and cast the line yourself, and make something happen. As soon as you discover your purpose in life and pursue your dreams, one will inevitably spend more and more of one’s time doing what you enjoy and do best. That is good. If you focus on your priorities, you can achieve your dreams. I remember how I seemed to float, then, down then, melancholy glory of that track upon the sea, away into the World of dreams. However, success requires something else: discipline. One of the best ways I know to improve self-control is to do something you do not enjoy doing (as long as it is constructive like cleaning the toilet or respecting people who hate you)—everyday. If you learn to do what you must, you will be able to do what you want. Success seems to be connected action. Successful people keep it moving. They may make mistakes, but they never quit. The man is himself, and the woman herself: that dream of love is over as everything else is over in life; as flowers and fury, and griefs and pleasures are over.

If we awake in the morning to find rain when we vividly had anticipated sunshine, it is only the common mind who would regret the compensation of the dream. Randolph Harris of Cosumnes River College, in Sacramento, California conducted a five-year study of leading artists, like Aaliyah and Britney Spears, and athletes like Serena Williams and Pete Rose, and scholars like Brice Harris and Dr. Freud. It also consisted of anonymous interviews with the top twenty performers in various fields, including pianists, musicians, actors, actresses, photographers, journalist, sculptors, mathematicians, and neurologist. Serena Williams dreamed that she was delivered of a tennis ball, which the devil (who, to her great surprise, acted the part of midwife) struck so forcibly with a racket that it disappeared in an instant. The information was supplemented by additional interviews with those people’s families and teachers. Randolph Harris and his team of researchers sought to find clues to how these high achievers developed because everyone is tired of sad and tragic stories. What we discovered was that the drive and determination helped to build their talent, which lead to their success. Dreamers see the Heavens open every day. I loved these dreams and the success of my imaginary achievements. They were my best parts of life, my secret truth, my hidden reality.

The bars of the real are set close about us; we cannot open our wings, but they are stuck against them, and drop bleeding. However, when we glide between the bars into the great unknown beyond, we may sail forever in the glorious blue sky, seeing nothing but our own shadows, which may scare us at times. So age success age, and dream succeeds dream, and of the joy of the dreamer no man knoweth but he who dreameth. Our fathers had their dream; we have ours; the generation that follows will have its own. Without dreams and phantoms, we cannot exist. It is no use of talking about waking me, when you are one of the things of my dream. You know very well we are not real. Dreams do not confine themselves to the rules of drama. I have dreamt in my life dreams that have stayed with me ever after, and changed my ideas; they have gone through and through me, like wine through water, and altered the color of my mind. Each person has its corresponding duties. The question where the duty of obedience ends, and the duty of resistance begins, could in no case be any easy one. The first duty of a great man or lady is justice. Justice must not be simply an opinion, we have to obey man’s laws and God’s laws, as best we can. However, the bare performance of duty merits do not reward, it is a requirement. We must be a common scholar afore we can be a on common one.

Dreams are the Gifts of the Heavens

What secret of happiness is greater than to follow your illusions? Robert Lopatin thought it was too late. As a boy, his dreams were as gigantic as his surroundings were small, he had dreamed of becoming a doctor. It must be a very dear and intimate reality for which people will be content to give up a dream. When he went to college, he gave up the idea. Instead, Robert Lopatin went into the family business of manufacturing women’s clothing and employed 400 people. We dream not ourselves, but within us. He stayed there for twenty-seven years! Then he and his father sold their business. If h wished, he could have retired. As quick as thought are dreams. At a friend’s wedding, he sat next to a young man who had just finished medical school. Chatting with the new doctor made Robert Lopatin think about his boyhood dream, tell me what a man dreams, and I will tell you what he loves. And at the young age of fifty-one, Robert Lopatin decided to become a doctor. Dreams are so wonderful that some people stop not short of ascribing them directly to Heaven.

Robert Lopatin graduated in four years from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and served his residency at Monetefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York. And he loved it– even the one-hundred-hour workweeks and the graveyard shifts. In dreams, the conscience sleeps, and we often stain ourselves with guilt of which we should be incapable in our waking moments. There is something special about these normal people, they do extraordinary things, things that the living are not capable of. “I feel like I died and was born again,” reports Dr. Robert Lopatin. When we receive Christ, we are reborn. In theory, what if he really did die, and his contract with God was not complete so he went to another level? Human behavior is governed by a large number of types of motives, some that are physiological, but many more that are acquired and learned through social interaction, personal experiences, and growth experiences. These physiological requirements are very powerful because survival depends on their satisfaction. Men will dream; the most that can be asked of them is but that the dream be not in too glaring discord with the thing they know.

In the healthy person, adulthood is characterized by a variety of new challenges. If his sense of selfhood is sufficiently developed in adolescence, a young adult will seek to expand that sense of self and awareness, to actualize his potential for growth and creativity. Actualize may be a new word to you. It means to make real, to make actual those characteristics or talents that are present but not yet developed in an individual (such qualities are sometimes called latent). In self-actualization, they newly formed self is motivated to try out new experiences to see what it can do. You may have a dream in your heart that you think is too antiquated to pursue. Another person may have told you that it is too late to do what you desire. However, it is not. Writer Joseph Conrad published his first novel at age forty. Dreams have no regard to consanguinity, a little trance of astonishment. Dr. Robert Lopatin, MD is a full-fledged doctor. He has a practice at 735 Kappock Street, Bronx, New York 10463.

Everyone who has met Dr. Robert Lopatin said he was “Above average, not normal.” Dr. Robert Lopatin says that he, “Is a young doctor, but an old person.” He never married nor had any children and believes that age enhances the quality of his care. Others, like Artist Grandma Moses started painting when she was seventy-five years old—and she still had a twenty-six-year career. Rebecca Jarvis went from being on a TV show called, “Celebrity Apprentice” to hosting the news on CNBC, CBS, and now is the Chief Business and Economic Correspondent for ABC News, New York, and has her own talk show called Real Biz, and she also hosts the World News, Good Morning America, and Nightline. Pursue your dreams, no matter how lofty they may seem, no matter who laughs at you, and tells you it is unrealistic. Do not ask us how we make our dream tally with facts. The glory of a dream is this—that it despises facts, and makes it own. Our dream saves us from going mad; that is enough.

Children of the Sun: Pumpkin Spice Latte

Nature seeks happiness. You and I have got to part; motivations are to satisfy love and belonginess. A young entrepreneur opened a coffee shop along with two partners. During their first week in operation, he overheard two little ladies in the dining room talking about their disappointment that they could not get a pumpkin spice latte at another coffee shop because it was not the right season to order the drink. One of the ladies who was from Stockholm, Germany, had never tired the café beverage and was looking forward to trying it. The entrepreneur got on the computer and did an internet search on “how to make pumpkin spice latte,” found the recipe, went to the supermarket, got the ingredients, and returned to his coffee shop. He whipped up the concoction, as the two ladies were having lunch, and brought them two tall muds of pumpkin spice lattes, and even topped them with whipped cream. “Ma’am,” he said, “There will always be a pumpkin spice latte with your name on it at this coffee shop anytime you want it. Anytime you come in, you just tell the person working the espresso machines who you are and that you would like a pumpkin spice latte, and they will prepare it for you.”

The woman was shocked.

“Young man,” she said, “I have lived in this town my whole life. I have many influential friends, and they will all hear what you just did for me. Thank you. From now on, I will be a regular customer, and my friend will tell everyone how nice Americans are when she returns home and how much she enjoyed your latte.” And she was as good as her word. Businesses should have excellent customer service. Employees are required to address customers’ desires in a friendly and professional fashion. Great customer service is not possible without amazing business management, so it is key that you are making what your customers do not see just as important as what they do see. Customer attention is the new resource that everyone is fighting for. The new “Attention Economy” is the new battleground for companies. In the 1960 to the 1990s, great customer service was the norm because people wanted a good reputation and cared about their products. We have a very limited window to grab someone’s attention when they come into our store. If we are not able to serve their needs in a timely, polite, professional, and satisfactory manner, our competitors are quite literally just a few steps away. Do not make your customer think, do not make them wait, and tell them why they should care. Make sure you are helping them understand why your business is the best. A light heart and a thin pair of breeches goes through the World.

How To Make a Pumpkin Spice Latte at Home
What You Need
Ingredients
2 tablespoons canned pumpkin
**1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, plus more to garnish
Freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
2 cups whole milk
**1 to 2 shots espresso, about 1/4 cup
1/4 cup heavy cream, whipped until firm peaks form
(**Look below for substitutes. just scroll down until you see substitutes.)
Equipment
Mixer, whisk, or hand blender, to whip cream
Saucepan
Wooden spoon
Whisk
Blender
Espresso maker or coffee maker
Instructions
- Heat the pumpkin and spices: In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook the pumpkin with the pumpkin pie spice and a generous helping of black pepper for 2 minutes or until it’s hot and smells cooked. Stir constantly.
- Stir in the sugar: Add the sugar and stir until the mixture looks like a bubbly thick syrup.
- Warm the milk: Whisk in the milk and vanilla extract. Warm gently over medium heat, watching carefully to make sure it doesn’t boil over.
- Blend the milk: Carefully process the milk mixture with a hand blender or in a traditional blender (hold the lid down tightly with a thick wad of towels!) until frothy and blended.
- Mix the drinks: Make the espresso or coffee and divide between two mugs and add the frothed milk. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, or nutmeg if desired.
Substitutions
- Vanilla: Yes, this recipe calls for two tablespoons (not teaspoons) of vanilla. This sounds like a lot, but it does more than anything else to mimic the intense, even artificial, taste of the syrups used in coffee shops. But feel free to start with less and bump it up as needed.
- Milk Fat: This recipe is most satisfying when made with whole milk, but 2% and skim can be substituted.
- Canned Pumpkin Substitution: You can substitute 1 teaspoon Torani Pumpkin Spice Syrup for the canned pumpkin if you have it on hand.
- Sugar Substitute: You can use a sugar substitute in place of the sugar if desired. Add to taste.
- Pumpkin Pie Spice Substitute: No pumpkin pie spice? No problem — use our recipe to make it out of cinnamon, ginger, and other spices: Pumpkin Pie Spice Mix
How To Make Pumpkin Pie Spice
Makes 2 1/3 tablespoonsAdapted from The Contemporary Encyclopedia of Herbs & Spices by Tony Hill
What You Need
Ingredients
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground mace
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmegEquipment
Measuring spoons, bowl, whisk, or spoonInstructions
- Measure: Measure out all ingredients in the order listed (to ensure you don’t double up or leave one out) into a small bowl.
- Mix: Whisk or stir to combine. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 year.
- ****Espresso Substitute: If you don’t have espresso on hand, you can use strong brewed coffee instead. Increase amount to 1/3 to 1/2 cup.
Recipe Notes
- Make a big batch of pumpkin spice mix-in: If you like, you can make a big batch of the pumpkin spice base, and refrigerate. To make 8 full servings, cook 1/2 cup pureed or canned pumpkin with 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and 1/2 cup sugar. Stir in 1/2 cup vanilla extract. Refrigerate for up to 1 week and use as desired. To serve, blend 1/3 cup pumpkin spice mix-in with milk until frothy, and add 1 or 2 shots of espresso. Top with whipped cream and serve. May even enjoy with a warm slice of pumpkin pie.
And one of my person favorite is the Eggnog latte, which is really simple, buy a carton of eggnog, heat it to about 165° degrees Fahrenheit, on medium heat, constantly stirring it so you do not burn the eggnog, add about a shot of espresso to one glass of heated eggnog, and you are real to enjoy. If you want, top with a little whipped cream and cinnamon.

Against the Sky of Medieval Santa Clara

Divine interposition in our behalf…that hand that destroys the Constitution rends our Union asunder forever. Law does not seem like law at all when one knows the makers of it. Part of healing is time traveling, going back psychologically and emotionally (and consciously!) to the central scenes of our original wounding, scenes where we became a divided nation in order to proceed with our lives. In this, we go back not just in narrative (or everyday) memory, but also in, and sometime only in, emotional memory. All I ever wanted was to be successful, I recall being in elementary school, and the teacher wanted to make sure we all knew how to spell successful. She believed if she impressed the word in our heads that it would make a difference in our lives.

Success means different things for different people. To many, being successful means having a great career, making a lot of money, driving a nice car, and owing a big house, and having a saving account and a private retirement. That is what I was taught success was as a child. However, success has many different meanings. Often times, being successful simply means the accomplishment of an aim or purpose, which will benefit you and those around you, without implicitly hurting others. And to others, success means the attainment of popularity or profit. Or you may want to obtain success by achieving desired goals or attaining prosperity. For some, there desired goal may be to overcome a lifelong health problem, it could mean overcoming a drug addiction, or having a baby, so success looks different depending on who you are, or what your circumstances are.

However, life is unpredictable and sometimes we have to deal with unexpected situations, which may inhibit our goals, and we may have no idea how we are going to get through a particular situation. So, the important thing is to keep your faith. Sometimes we may have to postpone an old ambition to build a novel of our lives, so to speak. And your journey should fascinate you. Never let your life become an apocalyptic kind of story. Just understand you may have to defer, not abandon, that project; you will go back to it someday, but to do the theme justice you must invest your time and energy in overcoming another situation, and you will not be ready to do that for some years yet. It is as if we have found a control panel in the dark, bringing in enough light and presence to do some rewire, not to get rid of our painful memories, which is impossible, but to lessen their hold on us so that they cease being our default locale when we are suffering in circumstances that mimic those in which we originally suffered.

Whatever you will ultimately achieve as a living being is only to be guessed by others, but to you, your target must be unmistakable. And never yield to temptations that you know are wrong, know that you are going to be a success, and nothing can stop you now. You might come upon quite a few inviting windmills, and it may be against your nature to leave these undisturbed, and I supposed there is a lesson to learn, and not all lessons are negative, some are beneficial. Some people come into your life to bring you out of your shell, to teach you communication, to express who you are and what you want, and they will make you emotionally stronger. To the point when something goes wrong, you look at it as a situation, and not the end of the World. You will learn to control your environment and look at other options. Past, present future, such are neatly sequential trio, or so it seems. However, it is not just the study of quantum mechanics that deconstructs and calls in question the apparent orderliness of time, but also the developmental dynamics of our lives. Events and behavioral patterns from our early years can easily determine how we operate, often colonizing our present with our past; this may be obvious externally, but not so obvious internally.

If, for example, we constantly feel violated because there are things going on in our lives, and happening to the people we love, and it seems to be the same types of things happening over and over, the purpose is to teach you to deepen your love for others and let go of being angry. We are learning to fuel or direction. So our past is often very much present in us, manifesting in the form of behaviors that first arose in response to difficult circumstances, and still arise, almost as if we are frozen in time, or listen to a scratched record that keeps moving forward, then jumping back to that same thread over and over and over and over again, when similar difficulties occur. Such behaviors are mostly automatic, featuring very predictable reactions, regardless of their outer trappings. Our unresolved wounds may be out of sight, but the behaviors associated with them, usually are not. We may have reacted strongly a few times in the past, but after going through the same situations, you realize, okay, my negative reaction is not going to change this situation; I have to let go and let God.

I know I am doing the right thing, so how can I go wrong? It is my critics who are messing up, and at some point they will attract the attention they deserve, and if people you love are getting hurt in the process, and you do not have the power, nor ability to change the situation, all you can do is learn to love your enemy and wish them the best. This will take any liability off of you. Once current circumstances have pushed us past a certain energetic threshold, old, conditioned responses can easily kick in and overtake. Not that we have to be victims of this, but we can do a little to stop such conditioning from initially seizing us. However, if we see it for what it is, we can alter our course, even though the characteristic sensations of such a takeover my persist quite strongly (changing course in the middle of the storm does not necessarily cause our agitation to immediately disappear!).

And it is not just our past that may take charge of or invade us (with our permission), but also the past of others with whom we are associated, and our collective past. They may be someone in your life who loves you and created a storm, and he may feel he was helping, but by your reaction he now feels like he made a mess of your life. Think of how challenging fear can be, and then factor in the reality of collective fear, not as a distant something on someone else’s horizon, but as a living force pervading our living space, carrying the message that we are, in various ways, threatened or endangered, no matter how removed we may be dark stuff of life. When the law of the land is weak, it is right the law of nature should be strong. Thank you. I just have to give respect and know when my time is. Thank God. The Universe is required to hear this message, the Universe orders up what it requires when it requires it. We are over it, let us just keep going. I just know that this is a very special moment. The fact that I can do this is the win.

Anyone can get Pregnant?

Lay with dogs and you get fleas. Microchimerism (MC) is the presence of a small number of cells that originate from another individual, and are therefore genetically distinct from the cells of the host individual. Women and men absorb and carry living DNA cells from every male they have ever had sexual intercourse with, they have assumed sperm into their bodily system, and the living cells and genetic material implant themselves into your muscles and skin. This phenomenon may be related to certain types of autoimmune diseases; because your body does not recognize the foreign material and attacks it. However, the mechanisms responsible for this relationship are unclear. “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you are hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside, but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.” Matt 23:27
