LAX International Airport Institutes Jim Crow Segregation

slideshow-obstructionists-jim-crow

By the turn of the 19th century, Southern vigilante terrorism and Jim Crow laws produced two societies—a white one of privilege and power, and a black one of utter destitution in money, knowledge, and rights. In the South, blacks were barred from voting, using public facilities, attending schools with whites, and associating with whites for reasons other than economic necessity.

The Civil Rights Act of 1875 was designed to grant equal access to public accommodations such as restaurants, theaters, and transportation. However, in Los Angeles, California, USA the international airport has decided to reinstate segregation.

thumbnail_11124.jpg

The airport is going to build a new terminal to allow celebrities, sports stars, and the World’s wealthy to travel directly from their cars to their first class seat without having to interact with any of the general travelling public.

50720d4a2d4a6e8d62853c32477433ad

It will cost the rich and famous about $1,800 per trip to escape from the public, plus the cost of their ticket to be chauffeured directly to their special terminal, which will include exclusive lounges, dedicated catering, and separate security and border checkpoints. When it is time to board the plane, the privileged will be driven directly to their plane.

reese-witherspoon-seen-at-jfk-airport_8

The rich and famous will only have to walk about 60 steps, and spend no time in line, while the general public walks about 2,200 steps from the plane to the terminals, and has to spend hours in line checking their bags, getting boarding passes, going through security, and picking up luggage.

fh

The new airport for celebrities and business executives to LAX will be 43,750 square feet. Many people are upset because they see this as segregation, which was made illegal by the 14th Amendment of the United States of America Constitution and with the Brown verses Board of Education in 1954.

hg

Not only that, but the airport is public transportation, and many people are forced to be in the same terminals are dogs, but the rich and famous can now avoid an entire class of people. A consequence is that segregation could make the rich and famous a target for terrorist attacks because they will all be in one place at the same time.

Hostages Seized and Killed in Attack on Radisson Hotel

No child is born hostile or aggressive. It becomes so only when its desires to be loved and to love are frustrated, that is, when it expected satisfactions are thwarted—and the thwarting of an expected satisfaction is the definition of frustration. I entertain the hope that in our venturing we shall get addicted to wonder and know the joy of constantly feeling something a little new. Grief can take care of itself, but to get full value of a joy, you must have somebody to divide it with. We have just enough religion to make us hate, but not enough to make us love one another. In Bamako, Mali—an unknown number of Islamist militant gunmen stormed a Radisson Blu hotel on the morning of 20 November 2015 in Bamako, the capitol of the West African nation of Mali, taking at least 170 people as hostages, and killing an estimated 3 people. Because of all of the terrorist attacks, many people are wondering if Muslims and Islamist are religions of terror?

Over the centuries, churches, synagogues, and mosques have had a number of important socializing effects on their participants as well as on society as a whole. In the main, these have to do with an individual’s approach to how to answer certain important questions about life, death, how to deal with people, and the structure of one’s value system. Perhaps the most important socializing effect of many churches is to teach members that there is an answer to every important question—and that leading a good life consists of learning these answers and following them to the letter. In effect, people were provided with a whole code of ethics and set of rules for living. Many decisions were eliminated. All the devout person had to do was find the church’s view of the answer.

Many people are learning to abuse religion. Because God forgives anyone of any sin, people use this as an excuse to partake in bad behavior, and then pray to God and ask for forgiveness. Even if you are evil and bad your entire life, you can ask God to forgive you on your death bed, and he will. So people have no incentive to behave. This position, too, has seen and experienced much change. Churches today are more inclined to encourage individual responsibility. For some, this has contributed considerably to the amount of anxiety in the World over the number of unanswered questions “running around loose” in each person’s head. Much of the popularity of the Back to Jesus movement may be due to the desire for renewed certainty—the feeling that the Bible and the church have a certain answer for every difficult question. And those who do not participate in such religious experiences may look elsewhere for that sense of certainty—whether in drugs, astrology, political ideology, or even psychology.

Many people have left organized churches because of difference between what the church teaches and what goes on in the real World. Others left because their religion insisted on dividing people into believers and unbelievers, teaching hatred and rejection for those with different beliefs. Many young people have begun to borrow ideas from oriental religions like Buddhism, Taoism, and Indian meditation cults. It seems to me that if we are going to live sanely, then we must respect and be sensitive to differences, realizing that no two individuals are alike, and that is we really understand someone, we understand how they differ from us. Freedom in religion, freedom in life, asks one fundamental overriding questions: Who do you want to be? It does not tell you who you must be, not even that there are some real and productive laws of your being that you were destined to become. Religion asks you never to forget how each day can be described by the possibilities it contains and how tomorrow shall be as well. All freedom can do is to illuminate the possibilities that can be opened to us and toward which we can steer ourselves by making our choices real.

Government Search Engine of Earth

How have we become a nation of people who would sell the sunset if someone would put a price on it? It has been discovered that during infancy there is a very short period in which a stimulus is required to trigger our ability to feel emotions in later life. Many children orphaned at an early age are often found to have a complete lack of warmth toward others, even when their adoptive parents do all they possibly can to give them love. Such children respond with the indifference most often associated with psychopathy.

2s

Education in a democratic society must equip children to develop their potential and to participate fully in American life. For the community at large, the schools have discharged this responsibility well. However, for many underprivileged children, the schools have fails to provide the educational experience which could overcome the effects of discrimination and deprivation. The aim of education should be to teach us rather how to think, than what to think—rather to improve our minds, so as to enable us to think for ourselves than to load memory with thoughts of others.

g

The function of school strikes at the heart of many as to how they are supposed to function as a socializing agent. What we are talking about is not just how students behave and think while they are in school, but what kinds of parents, employees, and citizens they will be when they become adults. This fight I far from trivial! We want to prevent children from attacking authority figures and from becoming like Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the alleged terrorist and ringleader in the Paris, France attacks.

ABDELHAMID ABAAOUD, FIGURE BELGE DU DJIHAD

Money can degrade all the gods of humans and convert them into commodities. In a popular newspaper questionnaire about the behavior of husbands, thousands of women reported that their spouses exhibited all the classic symptoms of the psychopath—they were violent and aggressive, deceitful, emotionally frozen, with a complete lack of any sense of remorse, or conscience. A later scientific study revealed that one in every six managers in the United Kingdom also met the diagnostic criteria for psychopathy!

The institution of politics and government affects our lives in many ways we cannot even begin to measure. Charity—helping one who is less fortunate than you—has traditionally been the responsibly of individuals and private groups.  The basic functions of the political institution are to allocate power, to control the wealth and resources, and to protect the citizenry through military power and law.  Government activity and control pervade more and more segments of our lives.

ph2

While government welfare and other public service organizations can sometimes o more thorough and wide spread job of helping the unfortunate, the spread of such organizations has several consequences. How can we keep individual freedom at the maximum levels and still make the government operate for the greatest good, for the greatest number?

The Canadian government is considering building special camps for Syrian refugees. A spokesman for the government in Ottawa confirmed that a tender notice has been issues for the construction of temporary winterized lodgings for groups of 500 to 3,000 people.

The inability to sense emotions in others, or to feel it ourselves, is a dysfunction that occurs in that center of anxiety and stress—the amygdala. In brain scans of those who apparently have no emotions, the amygdala shows little response when the subject is exposed to emotionally stressful information. It is thought that a successful bonding between mother and infant is a contributing factor to ensuring a normal functioning of this vital part of the limbic system.

charlie-hebdo-paris-shooting-manhunt

Compassion arises as one develops the ability to step inside someone else’s emotional shoes. At such times, brain scans show the activity around the amygdala to be dampened, while the right-hand side of the brain literally lights up. Compassion and indifference are extremes, but they point to your own natural tendencies—of either having a strong emotional field, or one that is cooler and more detached. Remember there is no judgement involved. Both have their weaknesses and strengths.

There are heavy question to which we have no easy answers. However, regardless of the answers, few people would argue with the conclusions that government as a whole is playing a greater and greater role in the socialization of people around the World. A hallmark of totalitarian societies is that the people are apprehensive about being overheard or spied upon.  The waking has one World in common; sleepers have each a private World of their own.

Riders in the Chariot

The greatest obstacle to being heroic is the doubt whether one may not be going to prove one’s self a fool; the truest heroism is, to resist the doubt; and the profoundest wisdom, to know when it ought to be resisted, and when to be obeyed. There are people who never do anything worth watching; they cannot eat an apple or button a shoe in an unnoticeable, unsuggestive manner. They undertake to be awkward, they do it so symbolically that you feel in debt to them for it.

fj3

You young creatures covet independency; but those who wish most for it are seldom the fittest to be to be trusted either with the government of themselves or with power over others. There are many different types of personalities, the Observer is one of them. The Observer requires privacy and isolation. To this end, one constructs an invisible wall around oneself, through which no one may enter. Within these confines, this personality type is perfectly self-sufficient, resourceful, and independent. In this World, people must climb their own trees.

fj5

All bodily racks and torments are nothing compared with certain states of the human mind. With the Observer, they feel anxiety is always lurking, in case someone or something because indispensable, with the attendant danger of being trapped by it. The horror of being caged or imprisoned through identification with someone else ensure there is seldom a personal attachment that could create such a situation. People often do the idlest acts of their lifetime in their heaviest and most anxious moments.

fj4

Rather than letting someone or something come too close, this Observer type adopts an attitude of indifference—preferring nothing to really matter much, rather than to allow others to touch too deeply. The detached Observer would even sacrifice situations that were potentially enjoyable rather than risk dependence on another. If one could only make a sacrifice all at once, and be done with it, it would seem easier; but to keep up a daily sacrifice of one’s wishes, taste, and pleasures is a hard task.

fj8

Even food, drink and comfort are eschewed if they involve a lifestyle that requires tie and energy to maintain. Here, we find strenuous avoidance of anything that might create any hint of dependence, including feeling unwell.  If you would have your son to walk honorably through the World, you must not attempt to clear the stones from his path, but teach him to walk firmly over them—not insist upon leading him by the hand, but let him learn to go alone.

fj8445

An illustration of how the Observer types might be completely misunderstood is when they hate being fussed over when unwell, only requiring the absolute minimum of care to bring them back to health. However, when they apply the same principle to people who loved being looked after, they are seen as heartless and uncaring. Reader, do you know, as I do, what terror those cold people can put into the ice of their questions? How much of the fall of the avalanche is in their anger? Of the breaking up of the frozen sea in their displeasure?

fj8344

Invariably, the Observer prefers to work alone and, if possible, even to eat and sleep alone, and really dislikes group happenings or sharing things. There is a preference to acquire knowledge first-hand and not rely on what others have already allegedly discovered. This can be an advantage, but it can also be taken to extreme, like refusing to take advice from those who are willing to share and really can help. Philosophy never had any remedy that can cure an indifferent mind.

ph1

Because of the requirement to examine everything for oneself, as if it is for the first time, there is a certain integrity in the strategy of this type. The Observer will not be an unthinking robot, taking everyone else’s word for things. Independent self-experience is essential because the frigid theories of a generalizing age have destroyed the individuality of humans.

reign-season-3

Yet, this overwhelming requirement to be self-sufficient and detached may not always be beneficial. The strategy can become a negative avoidance of being influences or obligated in any way, rather than beneficial independence for its own sake. Nothing is great but the personal. As civilization advances, the accidents of life become each day less important. The power of humans, one’s greatness and  glory, depends on essential qualities. Brains every day become more precious than blood.

188

There is also a tendency to feel a certain superiority in one’s splendid isolation, a profound sense of being unique among others, without the requirement to be competitive nor assertive about it. Trust me, there are as many of living as there are people, and one is no more fit to lead another, than a bird to lead a fish, or a fish a quadruped. When the mind is under the pressure of affliction, every indulgence tends to soften it. Rhetoric in a worthy cause has good chances of carrying the gravest.

12

Overall, the Observer type experiences independence, the isolation of the observer, and self-sufficiency as expansive. Over-identification with another person, a cause or a thing is essentially experiences as a contraction of the spirit. My word is word of power, for I know that it is the word of the greatest God within me. My word shall accomplish and prosper, and shall do good unto all who call upon my name. My word is a tower of strength and cannot be denied. It is complete and perfect here and not. My word is the word of God. The truth within me is unassailable, and the power of the word is irresistible.

Flags of Our Fathers

bh12495

The worst of our evils we blindly inflict upon ourselves. Selfishness is so predominant, that when most people hear of benevolence, they consider it a curiosity. Doc is a young man who has not have many good things in life. Both his mother and father worked hard and long hours but never seemed to be able to get ahead. There were four children in the family, and Ben often went unnoticed, somehow lost in the shuffle. He very often got very little to eat, and shared his bed with his two brother and often did not get enough sleep.

ph2

His clothes could hardly have been called stylish; his family could not afford new ones, and handed the old ones down until they literally fell apart. In school, did was not the best student, was shy and withdrawn, and was not good at sports because he was tired all the time and never got enough to eat. Most of the time, as he grew up, his parents were not home, and there was not one to take care of him when he was sick or injured.

ph6

The day after he managed to graduate from high school, Doc joined the Navy. If you talk to him today, his eyes gleam with pride as he tells you how much he loves it. “Being in the Navy was the best thing that ever happened to me! It seems that throughout life I was looked down upon and set up to fail, but I took charge of my life and made something of it. Now that I am more mature, people often wonder how I made it.”

ph3

Some people believe the whole story of motivation is coded in our genes, those inherited bits of cellular stuff: we are born a certain way and what we do is determined exclusively by these genetic factors. However, not a soul on board of us knows whiter we may be gliding—not even the commodore himself; assuredly not the chaplain; even our professor’s surmisings are vain. On that point, the smallest cabin boy is as wise as the captain. Heaven has kindly closed from our eyes the book of future events, that we may not be guilty of repining at its ordinations.

ph1

We do know that some of our behavior is caused by factors that are part of our physical existence. However, the most important lesson the World has learned in the past fifty years is that it is not true that human nature is unchangeable. Human nature, on the contrary, can be changed with the greatest of ease and to the utmost possible extent. If this lies huge potential danger, it also contains some of the brightest hopes that we have for the future of mankind.

r5

If you encounter an issues of life, think of lawful, honest, and ethical ways that you can make a difference or make it better, and it will always come to you. There is no set time, but it will happen. It is astonishing how large a hole a woodpecker makes with a small beak: it is owing to successive impressions. Great works are reformed, not by strength, but perseverance.  My good is mine now, and I can see it and feel it and know it.

ph734

From far and near my own shall come to me. Even now it is coming to me and I receive it. My own is now manifesting itself to me, and I see and know its presence. My own shall respond to me. Felicitate thyself then upon thy defects; which are evidently thy principal perfections; and which occasion thee a distinction which otherwise thou wouldst never have. Life always was and evermore shall be a World without end. All the power there is, is mine now. All the life, truth, love of the Universe is not and forever flowing through my body.

r7

The all good cannot change. I shall always have access to my eternal God within me. Perseverance is the surest road to success. The first step leading to perfection, and real activity, is to wander through the World unknown, and subject t few wants. You must not forsake the ship in tempest, because you cannot rule and keep down the winds. Remember, attention, love, admiration, cannot be always kept at the stretch. The light of life is full within me and around me. A ship is not counted strong by biding one storm, go forth and bless all who come to you, light within.

The Joyful Condemned

Do we never perceive our own foibles? It is happy we can find consolation in the follies of our neighbors. The simple mechanism of reward and punishment employed by the limbic system seems to be expressed as feelings of expansion and contraction. In all our experiences of well-being, euphoria, ecstasy, and meaningfulness, the overwhelming sense is that of an expansion of consciousness, of feeling boundless and free. In a greatly extended form this pleasurable experience is present in every religious and mystical tradition. People may really have in them some vocation which is not quite plain to themselves. Expansion of consciousness is a term used by most religions and is particularly popular today. Its polar opposite is the limited and contracted consciousness that is the lot of most of us. When is a mental argument conducted without some reference to selfish considerations? The pain, anguish, depression and sense of being imprisoned is only too common in modern psychological dysfunctions. Selfish are the hearts of poor mortals, they are ready to change as favor goes. Yet we strive to embrace the limitless. Some do it through mind- or mood-altering drugs or alcohol, others through the temporary sense of freedom that romance, the acquisition of money or power seems to provide. Some even do it through their body, in risky sports like skiing or mountain climbing. There is a temper of mind which borrows a degree of virtue even from self-love.

Happiness and misery are increasingly found to be due to the effect of our own under- or over-privileged chemical plants. While much of our physical functioning is out of our immediate control, changes in conscious attention have been known to alter the chemistry of the emotional system. An increase in awareness creates a greater chance to change the nature of our unconscious patterns of behavior. Happy and happy, there are so many hundred ways. A person may be happy in revolt; one may be happy in sleep; wine, change, and travel make some happy; virtue will do the like—and in old quiet, and habitual marriages there is yet another happiness. Make two lists, each on a separate sheet of paper. On one sheet list those experiences that create feelings of expansion n you, those that you find delight in. They could include the pleasure of a warm cup of coffee in the morning, how you feel when you see the love of your life, or buying your dream house. On the other, lists those experiences that make you feel contracted, like an acutely embarrassing situation or anxiety about your bank balance. Take at least ten minutes to compile them and see how many experiences you can come up with in that time. Then check the list. The person who can join ideas with the most propriety will separate them with the greatest nicety.

Whichever is the longer or was most easily constructed—expansive or contractive—will give you a clear indication of the present state of your emotional brain and of your likely corresponding behavior. The very act of making such a list will actually begin to change it. You will have brought it to consciousness. My feelings cannot be hurt. No one wishes to harm me, and there is nothing in me that can believe in any separation from the all good. I perceive that I am free from all people, and I cannot be harmed nor mistreated. Love and labor, two beautiful old fashions that began long ago, with the first pair in Eden. I have such a sense of unity with all that is in the universe and am complete and perfect. I love my friends, and they love me, and that love is in, and of, God, and cannot be marred nor hindered. I am filled with joy and love, forever. Love, in general, arises from the pleasure which all people naturally take in whatever they judge or perceive to be good and perfect. Charity and religion can be made to fit every shape. Love levels all distinction. Love is the soul of harmony, the connecting chain that links the whole frame of being; it is the glory of nature, and the very perfection of humankind.

Spencer Stone’s Prisoner

It seems to be the rule of this World, each person has what one does not want, and other people have what one does want. There are different degrees of turpitude, as there are different tempers to commit it. We have no right to intermeddle with people’s feelings when they would not tell them themselves. Few of us would care to admit that we are not in control of our emotions for that we are slaves to our reactions. There is a limit to the length of the inspection which a person can endure, under certain circumstances. Your attractive companion at a party gets drunk and behaves very embarrassingly to the other guest. Do you become aggressive and for him or her to leave? Quietly withdraw? Get bored and find the buffet? Find you are sexually excited by wild behavior? Become helplessly embarrassed and do absolutely nothing? To have in general but little feeling, seems to be the only security against feeling too much on any particular occasion. The feelings of the human heart are as different as the tinctures of the skin.

We often have to respond to threatening situations that involve a tactical choice. We can choose, for example, either to fight a gang, or to run. We can find comfort in food, in the diversion of sexual experiments, or we can freeze when the level of stress simply becomes too confusing. What we feel matters much more than what we know. Feeling does not stay to calculate with weights and a balance the importance and magnitude of every object that excites it; it flows impetuously from the heart, without consulting the cooler responses of the understanding. Such patterns are natural, but if we constantly choose one particular response to the virtual exclusion of all others, they begin to dictate our behavior in an unhealthy way. Spender Stone, from Sacramento, California, USA allegedly stopped a robbery on a train, by hogtying the suspect and beating him senseless. As a result, Spencer Stone was deemed a hero and his vigilante behavior was reward by being on display in parades, winning awards, and even making several appearances on TV.

While it is prudent to run away from a gang, Spencer Stone got used to being a vigilante. He was allegedly trying to protect a female, and as a result was jumped by a gang, and stabbed several times. After bleeding all over the ground, Spencer Stone was hospitalized and in critical condition. When you are constantly trying to be a hero, you start to think that you can take control of every situation. Because there is a direct connection to the most ancient and unconscious part of the brain, these instinctual reactions are both difficult to detect and even more difficult to change. And that is why the police tell people do not try to be a hero, call the police, as they are there to protect and save you. Being a vigilante could cost you your life, endanger others, and make the situation worse. The cold part about, after the knife fight was over, the young lady allegedly left with the guys’ Spencer Stone was trying to protect her from. Sometimes it is best just to mind your own business.

Any aspect of ourselves that is essentially unconscious part is also prone to become robotic. It can become mechanical and unmoved by sentiment or sensitivity—a jump in the groove of an old record, endlessly playing the same few notes until something or someone jolts it sufficiently to break the cycle. Now, after almost dying in a gang fight, I am sure Spencer Stone is thankful to be alive and sees that he is not invincible like Superman. The idea that we might be merely an unconscious slave to something little more than a robot is enough to nudge most of us out of any rut. The eye, though it does not tell all, tells much. It is the key of character, the mirror of the soul. The eye of the spirit cannot be dimmed, neither can it be limited in its ability to see. My eyes are the vision of my indwelling Lord; they are the windows of my inner spirit and are always open to the vision of truth.

For Richer or Poorer–the North was Blue

d

Love may be liked to a disease in this, that when it is denied a vent in one part, it will certainly break out in another. Yesterday, I was kind of sad because I was lonely. And so I hung out with a few of my neighbors, had a few drinks, and went to a concert, and stood in the front role and smiled and danced and clapped the entire time. I asked my friend to come back to my apartment with me, but she declined because she knew I was drunk. So I got back to my place, took my clothes off and went to bed. Yet, when I woke up this morning, I was sad.

1r

I did not kiss anyone, nor hook up with anyone, nor did I do anything wrong, but I still felt a little blue, like I felt guilty for having a good time. My feelings of guilt have nothing to do with other people in the World suffering. However, there are remarkable differences among people with respect to attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors associated with happiness, and these differences are in part related to our personality and how we were raised. I feel like my parents would be disappointed in me, but in reality, I know they would be happy I went out and had fun because they think I do not enjoy life much.

d2

I am not depressed or anything like that, but I do somewhat have a stressful life and it is rare that I get to have fun without anything going wrong, and last night, everything was perfect, everything went right. I guess the reason I feel bad is because I am in a relationship, and I had fun without the person I am dating, and I wanted my fun moments to be shared with that individual. However, the person I am seeing goes out and has fun all the time without me. And maybe it is the disappointment of my spouse that I am picking up on?

196

Some might say, why are you even in a relationship with someone who never spends time with you? Well, when you love a person and you two make promises, you tend to want to keep them. And at least I am not being used nor in a dangerous or abusive relationship. Technically, I did absolutely nothing wrong, and the night was perfect, but you were missing and I feel bad. Nonetheless, there is plenty of time to create happy memories together, and there is nothing wrong with me enjoying myself and the company of others sometimes.

Maybe I feel guilty because I know what I wanted to do, but did not? Overall, all I wanted was to hang out with someone, but when some start drinking indecent thoughts tend to slip in our minds. Love frequently dies of time alone—much more frequently of displacement. There is only one perfect flower in the wilderness of Life, Love. The circle of love is complete. It comprehends all, includes all, and binds all together with cords of everlasting unity. I cannot depart from its presence nor wander from its care. My love is complete within me. The love of God binds me to itself, and will not let me go.

Sympathy of Nature

His dreams were as gigantic as his surroundings were small. Nature constantly tempers one gift with another, in order to maintain a proper equality. So many people are stressed out everyone knows stress can make you sick or even kill you. As a result, many are spending so much money to distress. People do things like drinking, going out to eat, joining the gym, getting massages, and maybe those are all very good ways to relax, but they are also very expensive. One of the most relaxing things in life is nature. My friend Matthew used to look so stressed out and grumpy, but I noticed that when he starts spending more time in nature, his eyes started to look different. After a few months of going to his favorite park and running, he lost weight, and his eyes looked happy and inquisitive. His spirit also seemed to be a lot lighter, as a person he really transformed. He just seems a lot lighter. I also love going to the park and enjoying nature. There is this huge castle in the center of the park, and it is very beautiful, but it not really the focal point. The main beauty of the area is the beautiful roses and flowers, there is a good chance something will be blooming no matter what time of the year it is. The roses are so pretty and tall, they look so enchanting, many of the rose bushes are even taller than me, that is something I had never seen before.

The park also possesses some of the most beautiful and mature trees that I have ever seen. Many of them are over 150 years old, some of them are younger, and there is such a variety. Besides their scientific name, some of the trees are even named after Senators and have stories that go along with them. There is even one tree I have never seen anywhere in the World at this park, it is called a catfish tail palm, and is one of my favorite. I have lived in the area for six years, and when I first started going to the park for my walk, I was taller than the park, for a nature walk, to stay in shape, the catfish tail palm tree was just a baby, but now it is at least 30 feet tall. There are some trees that seem to come out of nowhere sometimes. One night I walked right into one of them. And sometimes you will even see raccoons in the park traveling in packs, and they are not at all as scary as people say they are. Some of them actually seems shy. One time I saw a raccoon and stopped dead in my tracks because we hear to many rumors about them, but the poor baby put his paws over his eyes and I could tell he was a gentle creature, and just walked right past him. There really is not a bad time to go to the park, but I usually like to be in before Sundown. Yet, sometimes I will go for a walk just to release stress, and burn calories. Nature has tranquility and will comfort people with its sympathy and joy. The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses people with peace.
