Love Casts Out all Fear

cxcx

The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. Some have wandered away from these and turned to meaningless talk. They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm. If one uses it properly, we know that the law is good. #RyanPhillippe

lkn,jn

We also know that law is made not only for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious; for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for adulterers and perverts, for slave traders and liar and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me. #RyanPhillippe

God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: The Lord knows those who are his, and everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness. It was such a little, little boat that toddled down the bay! It was such a gallant, gallant White Squall that beckoned it away! It was such a greedy, greedy wave that licked it from the stately sails my Albatross was lost.#RyanPhillippe

My good is complete; it is finished; it is now here and is conscious of me and mine. I do not have to wait for my Good; it is at hand and ever ready to spring forth and express itself to me. I accept my Good and gladly acknowledge it to by my daily companion. My Good is mine now, and I can see it and feel it and know it. Today I claim my Good. #RyanPhillippe

Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewithin. They had themselves been brought up, like many other individuals, in a strict middle-class Victorian home, where the Netflix and Chill was unknown, and all their knowledge of it before marriage was acquired from the walls of public-school toilet rooms in New York, and similar tainted sources. #RyanPhillippe

These individuals resolved to be modern and sensible in the Netflix and Chill education of their own children. The parents timed the operation at a more reasonable early age than the English family, but, again, the results were not satisfactory. The child was told an idyllic tale of the planting of little seeds. #RyanPhillippe

CZ3ugI2WIAAw-Gc

There was a barrage of questions: How?—When?—May I see it done?—Please let me see a baby seed!—Does anyone plant sees in the kindergarten teacher? And so on. Moreover, the child(ren) began to be alarmingly communicative of their knowledge to friends and visitors. #RyanPhillippe

bsfgnsfg

Finally, their parents angrily shouted to the child(ren) that if they talked anymore about Netflix and Chill, they would be whipped. That is one possible results of the Netflix and Chill enlightenment. Parents could not cultivate with their children the simple and open footing on which the natural facts come gradually and almost insensibly into sight, without the shock of any morbid or startling novelty. #RyanPhillippe

It has, of course, to be realized that children may react in various ways that cannot always be foretold, but of necessity it is largely affected by the way in which the revelation comes to them. However, we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in with truth. He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. #RyanPhillippe

So then, individuals, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter. Greater than fear is Love. Love dissolves all fear, casts out all doubt and sets the captive free. #RyanPhillippe

Love, like a White Squall of life, is bright and washes engulfs me and refreshes me with its eternal blessing. Love cannot be afraid; it is fearless and strong, and is might in its word. It can accomplish all things through the Inner Light of that faith in God, which fills my very Being with a Powerful Presence.  #RyanPhillippe

Dreamers See the Heaven’s Open Everyday

fwegf

Dreamers see the Heaven’s open everyday. Do not ask us how we make our dream tally with facts. The glory of a dream is this—that it despises facts, and makes its own. Our dream saves us from going mad; that is enough. When night is almost done, and sunrise grows near that we can touch the spaces, it is time to smooth the hair. #RyanPhillippe

And get the dimples ready, and wonder we could care for that antiquated faded midnight that frightened but an hour. Pain has an element of blank; it cannot recollect when it began, or if there were a day when it was not. It has no future but itself, its infinite realms contain its past, enlightened to perceive new periods of pain. #RyanPhillippe

He ate and drank the precious words, his spirit grew robust; he knew no more that he was poor, nor that his frame was dust. He danced along the dingy days, and this bequest of wings was but a book. What liberty a released spirit brings!  #RyanPhillippe

I had no time to hate, because the grave would hinder me, and life was not so ample I could finish enmity. Nor had I time to love; but since some industry must be, the little toil of love, I thought, was large enough for me. It has taken humanity thousands of years to learn that is has the power to control its own destiny. As an individual thinketh in his heart, so they shall be. #RyanPhillippe

From far and near my own shall come to me. Even now it is coming to me and I receive it. My own is now manifesting itself to me, and I see and know its presence. My own shall know and respond to me. As the great joy of life comes into my heart, flooding me with its wondrous light, all sorrow and sadness fell from me. I shall not grieve, for nothing is lost nor gone from me. #RyanPhillippe

My own cannot be kept from me. My own knows me and will follow me wherever I go. I am filled with the joy of living and the Great Peace that comes to all who believe. I am made glad forevermore. Focus your attention on the experience of love. Wish you a bright future and not forget me. #RyanPhillippe

Wish you stretch out your hands and accept my best wishes. I love you and may the flower of happiness be fragrant in your future days. May that floating thoughts turn to colorful stars and knock at your beautiful dream every night.  You love me and I froze in time. #RyanPhillippe

The Netflix and Chill Enlightenment

Many people of today say the youth are hopeless and the end of times are near, but I do not agree. I think it is destructive to label the youth as despondent because many of them are trying and often when some adults see this vitality and progression, they get jealous and do things to snuff their light out. As adults, individuals are required to uplift the youth and support them in their endeavors. Spend time with them, talk to them about their dreams and goals and guide them in a productive direction. The youth also have to be fed and we cannot just take from the, expurgate their future, and give nothing back. They are a fierce and potent incarnation of Social Conventions. Sport and hygiene and the immensely improved health is being witnessed, and there is a new fellow ship of equality with men in work and play. The new physical aptitudes were found to be associate with new psychic aptitudes. There is also a new directness of vision, a new downrightness of speech, a new spirit of adventure, a resolve to experiment, beyond Netflix and Chill, even in fields ostensibly prohibited.

These new conventions involve an often open disregard of old conventions and a $15 drink for relations. They youth have proved their far-reaching significance, much like 5G WiFi signals. They do not touch the deep springs of human action which operated in 1890 as they do now. The youth are scarcely even new in those manifestations which have most exercised the minds of moralists; and petting, if we could recover the prehistoric evidence, might be traced back to the origins in the Garden of Eden. The youth are nonetheless, far-reaching, and the modern boys and girls of yesterday leads up to the new mother and father of to-day. Many elements of our civilized life indication that the individuals in this World are rapidly growing and adapting, not just the youth, but also the antiquated beings. We are rapidly moving towards a new society, where people are more concerned with education, work, productive, conservation, and the environment. The conventions of the past, however superficial, are, as conventions are apt to be, sometimes rigid and almost unbreakable. However, we must change this rhetoric and realize we are flying into a brave new World.

Victorian influence, even in France, which is supposed to be a land free from sexual taboos, are learning the importance of communication and non-material love. People are starving for intimate connection, which do not involve Netflix and Chill.  Parents are becoming obsessed with spending time with their children, and their children are enjoying more traditional outdoor activities with their friends over video games, and reciting lyrics of unaesthetic yolo thugs. I know men and women who can still be called young, belonging to a bourgeois family of superior ability, and the mother is more than just an admirable and devoted housewife, and the father more than a pay day with legs.  Still, many parents never give their children the slightest instruction concerning Netflix and Chill function, and no other sources of knowledge are open. The young men and women, being highly intelligent, succeeded in forming for themselves some general ideas on the subjects, infusing them with a poetic spirit.

They give the impression to those around them that they are well informed in these matters, and their parents, realizing that at least that instructions on Netflix and Chill is desirable yet they are still unable to overcome their own inhibitions, and ask their other children to instruct their younger siblings to avoid Netflix and Chill. This was done to the satisfaction of the pupil, yet the teachers themselves remained ignorant that when some years later, they believed that the male anatomy is a weapon, and the female anatomy was a pocketbook, and that birth would take place through the navel and ruin the value of a young virgin, while decreasing the value of the male sword. Some believe that during Netflix and Chill that a kiss on the lips from a man produced a child. It is an ancient belief, passed on by tradition from generation to generation, that it still subsists to-day, even among parents who regard themselves as emancipated and who are fully aware of the duty to train their children in a wholesome knowledge of the vital facts of Netflix and Chill.

There is now indeed a pervasive belief among parents, who were making themselves brought up amid the antiquated conspiracy of silence in the home, that this is wrong and that they must inaugurate in their own homes a new and better era of Netflix and Chill enlightenment. However, how do they do it? And what ought they to tell their children? They do not know. The result is that in a large proportion of cases they do nothing, although still retaining an uneasy conscience, in this indeed unlike their own parents, who had similarly done nothing, but on principle, with the virtuous conviction that they were preserving the innocence of their children. Some things that fly there be,–Birds, hours, the bumble-bee: of these no elegy. Somethings that stay there be,–grief, hills, eternity: nor this behooveth me. There are, that resting rise. Can I expound the skies? How still the riddle lies!  I know some lonely houses off the road a robber would like to look of,–wooden barred, and windows hanging low, inviting to a portico, where two could creep: one hand the tools, the other peep to make sure all is asleep. Old-fashioned eyes, not easy to surprise!

Within My Reach!

Within my reach! I could have touched! I might have chanced that way! Soft sauntered (walked) through the village, sauntered as soft away! So unsuspected violets within the fields low, too late for striving fingers that passed, an hour ago. A wounded deer leaps highest, I have heard a hunter tell; this but the ecstasy of death, and then the brake is still. The smitten rock that springs: a cheek is always redder just where the hectic stings! Mirth is the mail of anguish, in which it cautious arm, lest anybody spy the blood and you are hurt exclaim! The Heart asks pleasure first, and then, excuse from pain; and then, those little anodynes that deaden suffering; and then, to go to sleep; and then, if it should be the will of its Inquisitor, the liberty to die. A precious, mouldering pleasure it is to meet an antique book, in just the dress his century wore; a privilege, I think, his venerable hand to take, and warming in our own, a passage back, or two, to make to times when he was young. His quaint opinions to inspect, his knowledge to unfold on what concerns our mutual mind, the literature old; what interested scholars most, what competitions ran when Winchester was a certainty and brave man; he traverses familiar, as one should come to town and tell you all your dreams were sown. His presence is enchantment, you beg him not to go; old volumes shake their vellum heads and tantalize, just so. Much madness is divinest sense to a discerning eye; much sense the starkest madness. It is the majority in this, as all, prevails. Assent, and you are sane; Demur,–you are straightway dangerous, and handled with a chain. Every generation has its own vices, and many others as well, for every generation includes individuals of opposite temperaments. That has probably been realized by most people, and the agitation over the modern individual and their many imperfections. We need not deny the reality of many of the imperfections revealed in the course of the discussion.

It begins to be seen that our views of the present are falsified by own imaginative ideas of the past. In the depth of our unconscious we ingeniously construct a picture of the past, and then we are horrified, or delighted—according to our individual tastes—by its contrast with the present. In this matter the picture of the past is constructed out of rags and tags of what we call Victorianism. There was an amusing satire on this tendency of the human mind in a brilliant Revue not long ago played in London and New York, This Year of Winchester. Here we were given a glimpse of the Victorian groom of 1890, arriving in all his glory at seaside lodgings (in, it so chances, the coast resort where I write these lines), and then a glimpse of a similar couple in all their easy familiarity. One scarcely needs to be old enough and privileged enough to know how these things happened in 1890 to be able to state with assurance that a real man of that date was far more like that of 1928 than like his imaginary self. The real differences are in things not essential, in clothing and social conventions. I asked no other thing; no other was denied. I offered Being for it; the mighty merchant smiled. Brazil? He twirled a button, without a glance my way: but sir, is there nothing else that we can show to-day? The heart selects his own society, then shuts the door; on his divine majority obtrude no more. Unmoved, he notes the chariot’s pausing at his low gate; unmoved, and emperor kneeling upon his mat. I have known him from an ample nation choose one; then close the valves of his attention like stone.

To-day Virtue is an Adventure

Heart, wilt thou toss again? By just such a hazard hundred have lost, indeed, but tens have won an all. Angels’ breathless ballot lingers to record thee; imps in eager caucus raffle for raffle for my heart. This so much joy! This is so much joy! If I should fail, what poverty! And yet, as poor as I have ventured all upon a throw; have gained! Yes! Hesitated so this side the victory! Life is but life, and death, but death! Bliss is but bliss, and breath but breath! And if, indeed, I fail, at least to know the worst is sweet. Defeat means nothing but defeat, no drearier can prevail! And if I gain, –oh, sun at sea, oh, bells that in the steeples be, at first repeat it slow! For Heaven is a different thing conjectured, and waked sudden in, and might overwhelm me so!

Let virtue be dressed in smiles. To have virtue means that one has general moral excellence, a specific moral quality regarded as good; chastity. I am well aware that in setting forth, here and elsewhere, the claims of Love and Virtue, as I conceive them, it will seem to many that I carry them to the point of extravagance and make demands that are at present impossible. However, anyone who realizes that in every ancient and firmly established social order the forces of inertia are of immense weight will realize also that we cannot strike too hard or make our demands too large. In such an impermeable World, we can only gain much by having asked more. To do so is the only course open to individuals of reason and moderation, who are pioneering the future.

This is life. Even if I sometimes dream, I do not dream beyond the circumference of life, and the aptitudes of the human organism. I do not have a soul, so I went to Popeye’s to get some soul food, in hopes of establishing one. Dreams are the gifts of the saints. Dreams are so wonderful that some people stop short of ascribing them directly to Heaven. A little trance of astonishment. Glee! The great storm is over! Four have recovered the land; forty gone down together into boiling sand. Ring, for the scant salvation! Toll, for the Phillippe souls,–neighbor and friend and groom, spinning upon the shores! How they will tell the Albatross shipwreck when Winter shakes the door, till the children ask, but the forty? Did they come back no more?

Then a silence suffuses the story, and a softness the teller’s eye; and the children no further question, and only the waves of the White Squall reply. If I can stop your heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain; if I can ease your life the aching, or cool one pain, or help one fainting robin unto his nest again, I shall not live in vain. When, indeed, I come to think of it, that may be the reason why my dreams are at first regarded as shocking and afterwards as a commonplace. They are within the orbit of life, even though they seem to present some new vision of life. Tell me what an individual dreams, I will tell you what that one loves.

Young were too often Left in Ignorance

It seems that many have passed the stresses of youth and its ardours (emotional wrath) and are able to take a wide and serene view of the facts of the present and the limited possibilities of the future. For in the past the young were too often left in ignorance of the things that belonged to their fate, it is possible that there may be limits to the consciousness, it is desirable for us to possess in youth of processes, going on within us, and of the direction in which we are moving. I am not likely, I think, to be accused of meaning by love merely a mild euphemism for the physical explosion of the sex, or by virtue merely the namby-pamby convention of goodness. If when I speak of love, I may sometimes seem to recall the media’s libido and its sublimations, there is also an echo of the love that God celebrated as one with the force that moves the stars; and when I speak of virtue, it is more often the sort of virtue which God proclaimed, free from all moralic acid, the sort which men sometimes mistake for vice, while they bow down to the hollow image of an outworn virtue, and smugly mistake their own feebleness for the will of God.

I am surrounded by traditions that once were living and now are dead, not only in the spiritual World but even in the industrial and commercial World, and yet are clung to with a passionate tenacity which blinds those who hold them to fate they are bringing down on themselves. I have an independent reverence of Victorian history, architecture, and art. As one grows older, indeed, one may observe with intelligent interest, and if one is sensitive also share, the perpetual slight change which taste is always undergoing, the perpetual slight novelty in which all life, and indeed all art, consists of. So it is possible to be young and to be old many times, even in the course of the same life. I eagerly search for things that please myself, things, some of them, which afterwards also pleased other people, so much so that they have since left me tired. We are all concerned with life, even though in different sense or on different aspects; and life means for us, at the beginning and at the end, no abstracted formula, no society, but this human organism, with its desires and its satisfactions, its ardours and its weariness, its endless mysteries, its strange possibilities, its curious loveliness, not yet fully explored and known.

It is my goal to adopt an old heroic virtue, firm alike in the discipline of self-control, and thereby in the strength to control the World, that we require to-day, whatever may have been required in the days when individuals gathered together to listen to the Sermon on the Mount and thereupon went forth to slay and steal and lie and make the World a hell. The love I have in mind is that which secretly inspires a virtue which refuses to yield weakly to the circumstances of a World moulded by the dead heroism of a past it has outgrown. It comes forward with its own heroisms to guide life into new forms, even if in doing it must sweep away the old moralities to set up other moralities more in accordance with the increased knowledge of our own days. I belong to a land where all who are truly alive are to-day specially called upon to live daringly, and where virtue, in the antique and genuine sense, as the impulse to demand things that are great and rare, becomes a prime duty. Success is counted sweetest by those who never succeed. To comprehend a nectar requires sorest need. Not one of all the purple host who took the flag to-day can tell the definition, so clearly, of victory, as he, defeated, drying, on whose forbidden ear the distant strains of triumph break, agonized and clear. Our share of night to bear, our share of morning, our blank in bliss to fill, our blank in scorning. Here a star, and there a star, some lose their way. Here a mist, and there a mist, afterwards—day!

We First Know a Respite from Affliction

Compromise, trust and forgiveness are the keys to a successful and healthy relationship. However, it is vital to understand how our past relationships shaped how we respond in the present. If we do not understand this, we may go on to experience a series of disappointments that can lead only to deeper despair and greater self-blame. Nonetheless, looking at the past is not easy. Yet, we can get through this part without feeling worse or giving up. We can use the issues to help explore and touch down briefly on a few of the most important legacies of our past relationships. The point is to just highlight a few of the past experiences that changed us significantly and provided us with lessons about oneself in intimate situations. Talking about these experiences will not be the say we have had when talking to a friend, therapist, or new love interest. This review is not about our former partner (or partners). Past relationships leave their mark. Although there were undoubtedly many negative and beneficial things about these people from our past, this is to express what we have learned as an adult.  It can sometimes seem as if we are doomed to repeat the worst experiences of our childhood, in our adult relationships. This can leave us completely confused, wondering if we are once again the victim of neglect, abuse, or whether we have come the abusers when we unintentionally harm those we love.

One way a past relationship might hurt is when we experience the repetition of being the one who feels repeatedly rejected in the relationship. Dale’s relationships in the past were like a parody of the Looney Tunes. He was always jumping over the relational candlestick, trying to avoid being burned, or hurt, without much success. There seemed to be an endless succession of people who alternately used him, and left him, but remained possessive after the experience was over. At first, these people Dale dated would hover around him, and watch him, then back off and get distance. Once he got tired of them, they would spread rumors about him to keep people away or threaten the people who was dating to get them to back off. These people would even go as far as trying to get Dale’s new love interest fired from their jobs for dating him. All of the people Dale dated worked in the same industry, so they knew each other. The problems would arise when would date someone outside of their cult. They actually would tell people they owned him. Although Dale appeared to want a lasting relationship, he kept trying to get away from this click and they refused to let go. As a result, Dale grew cold and had a hard heart. The fear of beginning a new relationship became intensified by failed relational attempts. He became emotionally sacred and did not really love the people he was involved with.

These relationships were extremely confusing and disturbing for him. They were abusive and mean to him, but when he pulled away, they would show up at his friend’s parties or enter his home without permission. Dale did not understand how people could physically and verbally abuse him for years, but try to force him into a relationship. His failure to communicate successfully in past relationships made him set up rigid rules for his new relational efforts. This can happen when someone feels inadequate, attacked or betrayed in an earlier relationship. Dale had never had intercourse, but had some other experiences with them people he dated, when he was less than sober. As a result, he was not sexual with anyone. He carried guilt and discomfort from this relationship into each subsequent one, and the experience continued to cast a shadow over his efforts to be open and loving with anyone. He was afraid to open up to anyone because he thought he might be exploited or cheated on. The greatest spirits, when overwhelmed by their afflictions, are subject to the greatest dejections.

Forever Grateful

You bring me into a colorful World, a World that is abundant. My heart is calling you and saluting you. If you are a desolate bay, then I am a tramping sailor. Though I have been to many places, I still regard you as my destination. If you are a tramping sailor, then I am a desolate bay. Though you care, I know you are busy with work, nevertheless I will still await your return. There are some predictable variables in the overall history of your relationships that probably left their mark on us, and even had an impact on those relationships we may not think of as significant in themselves.

We have known each other for so long, and we see each other often. Those innumerable letters tell everything or nothing. You may well imagine me and I you. Then why not get out of the fence in belief that our real sight can be more brilliant than that in dreams? Could you know from afar the feelings of someone jilted? The sum total of distressing or failed, in the past, may have made you think things that are untrue about yourself. I am here to clear some of these myths up. Your patient instructions are turned into wisdom, warm blood and regulations. I thank you for your painstaking cultivation.

Each relations adds to the picture you may have developed about yourself in a relationship. Not long ago, I remember you saying you felt like you have been played, you had your heart broken, and that you were too busy for love. However, you are like a poem or a serenade from which waft an elegant rhythm and tender musical notes which bring about healing and mirth to me. Whatever you want is yours. When my birthday comes, what I want is an invaluable gift—your heart to always be present. My heart bursts with my respect for you.

The length or emotional intensity of the most significant relationship in our lives has affected how we communicate now. The longer we are together, the more likely we are to become attached to each other. A heart lack of attention requires the most Sunshine. How many times you comfort me with your warm big hands. I will cherish and treasure your love and your deep feelings forever. It is you who encouraged me to sail forward, when I was moving bravely toward the sea. Sometimes it seems that it is freezing outside, but your care gives me endless warmth. How can I not thank you?

In this World, no matter how many years we live or how far we travel, what I can never forget is your encouragement and expectation. In these special days, thank you for waking my fast asleep self-confidence, building up my lost spirit, lighting my extinguished ideas, and encouraging me to set foot on this new journey with your selfless love. I will always offer you my deep respect with the greenness of life. What I cannot forget is your love. When I was in low spirits, it is you that pushed off the gloomy clouds overhead, and bring me limitless promise.

Your selfless contribution always comforts me. Your instructions I will remember forever. In this fine day belonging to you, thank you for your cultivation. When people praise the rainbow, they first think of the Sun; when I am overjoyed for the prizes I have won, I first think of you. Knowledge is power, it is you who taught me knowledge, and endowed me with power. Without you, there would be none of my success. Thank you for being my ambassador of light. Your presence has developed my intelligence and ignited a beacon of hope. Thank you.

Your Conscience is Law to You!

Tell me what a person dreams, and I will tell you what they love. Knowledge is in every country the surest basis of public happiness. Do not ask us how we make our dream tall with facts. The glory of a dream is the—that it despises facts, and makes its own. Our dream saves us from going mad; that is enough. Wish you a bright future and not forget me. If life is a flower, love is the honey of the flower. May your future be as beautiful as a rose, and as sweet as candy. The power of beauty, when accompanied by compassion, is irresistible. May bright sunshine, youth strength, beautiful appearance and a comfortable smile belong to you forever!

Just as in childhood, there are pivotal experiences in our adult lives that determine the pattern of our responses in subsequent relationships. Adult experiences may have somewhat less power over us because we have already developed our basic biological, emotion, and mental characteristics. Nonetheless, we are always changing and growing and we are deeply affected by our adult experiences in beneficial and negative ways. Strange that some things so beautiful should be terrible and deadly. We live and learn. After violent emotions, most people, and all boys demand food.

fbdbdgnb

It is undeniable that if we experience trauma or tragic losses, that will have great importance in determining many things about who we are from that time on. For instance, all those who have every lost their homes because of a natural disaster, or social upheaval, or personal misfortune know that their feelings of personal safety and security will never be the same for some time. Other tragic events such as the loss of a child, a sibling, a close friend, or a life partner also change us permanently. However, these tragic experiences can create new energy or spiritual awakening or a transformative life purpose, despite the awfulness of the loss.

Other major life events can create major changes in how we respond to the World. It is a dangerous thing to laugh at the wrong person. Someone may experience lasting repercussions from a life-threatening or life-altering accident or illness. Again, these kinds of experiences can create a new resilience that serves to counterbalance disability, fear, bitterness, and depression. Lives are run in different lengths, and nobody can say what is the matter with some folks, only that their thread’s run out; there is more on one spool and less on another.

cXvadv

The sweeter, the more dangerous. Arsenic is sweeter than sugar. Addiction is another circumstance of adult life that creates its own set of responses in individuals and their loved ones. There is a broad spectrum of addictive behaviors that can change the course of an adult’s life, including well-recognized addictions to substances to substances like alcohol, drugs, food, lies, and sometimes the less obvious process addictions like gambling, overspending, self-injury, sex, work, computer activities, television, and exercise. If you have struggled with an addiction yourself or been involved with an addicted person, you are well aware that this fact of life determines a lot about how you respond in the area of intimate relationships.

bdbfgngf

A handful of good life is better than a whole bushel of learning. Seemingly neutral life events, such as changing jobs or getting promoted, buying a house, having a baby, moving from one geographical area to another, getting deeply involved in community activism, religious activities, sports, or hobbies can also make a big difference in how we respond to intimacy. Life without a moral purpose is but a passing spectre, and out immortality rests in our religious life.

Those who want the fewest Earthly blessings most regret that they want any. Sometimes past relationships continue to play a major role in our current lives. It sometimes seems as though we repeat the worst of our childhood nightmares in the relationship we create in early adult life. However, we can learn to heal and love again. There will always be something worth living for while there are shimmery afternoons. How I miss that trail of our accompanied footprints in the days of intoxicating friendship.

Unsure of Origin and Intent–a Woman’s Tongue is her Sword

The wisdom of Love, the highest wisdom ever known upon this Earth. God’s rarest blessing is a good woman. Women are people brimful of courage. Theirs is not exactly the same characteristics as manly courage; that would never do, hang it all: we should have to give up trampling on them. No; it is a vicarious courage. Nothing can exceed the resolution with which they have been known to send forth men to battle; les femmes sont tres braves avec le peau d’autruit. Women are wonderfully quick scholars under ridicule, though it half-kills them. The ways of women, that they all worship strengthen in whatever form and seem to know it to be the child of Heaven. It can sometime seem as if people are doomed to repeat the worst experiences of their childhood in their adult relationships. This can leave some completely confused, wondering if they are once again the victim of neglect, abuse, or whether they become the victimizer when one unintentionally harms those we love.

Men are made to be managed, and women are born managers. Women are more innocent than men because of their education. There are many different ways that past relationships can leave their mark on you. The repetition of being one who feels repeatedly rejected in relationships may create a self-image of “victim” that clouded the underlying distancing issues some carried with them into each relationship. When she first began to watch herself distancing from Warren, Elle grew more and more self-blaming. She had fled from her first marriage to escape the burden of being forced to be a mother to her husband. Her leaving reinforced her growing imagine of herself as hard-hearted and unfair. However, she had not adequately resolved her decision to leave her first marriage, so her self-blame became almost immobilizing as she felt herself pulling away from Warren. The fear of beginning a new relationship can become greatly intensified by failed relational attempts. Some people react to failed relationships by becoming more extreme in their avoidance patterns. Others subsequent partners or would-be partners. Women are used to real suffering, and want to be living instead of enduring pain and supporting a dysfunctional coward.

Elle had been emotionally scarred by her early adult experience of an assault in college, at a frat party, where she was underdressed. When she tried to date, she was so afraid of seeming vulnerable that she hid behind her school work and community service. Otherwise, no one was able to interact with her. One young man did manage to get a bit closer than anyone ese, partly due to his own ambivalent and charming relationship style. He would do sweet things like asking her where she wants to go and let her know that he just wanted her to be comfortable. He even told her, I will always be right here for you. When Elle began to allow herself to risk a relationship with him, he suddenly disappeared, which left her feeling even more vulnerable and mistrustful. Unfortunately, love as a motive of action for Elle, was a tyrant. She considered the female’s lunacy and suicide. The idea of a pretty woman exercising her mind independently, and moreover moving him to examine his own, made him smile. Could a sweet-faced girl originate a sentence that would set him reflecting? He was unable to forget it, though he allowed her no credit for it.
