I Know the Truth and I am Free

Emotions are the means by which we make contact. We may talk angrily or warmly toward another; both are good exchange or potential communication, for the interaction is established only if it has the support of our emotions. We are often made uncomfortable by our own strong feelings or those we find in other people. Many of us still do not know how to handle it when someone is crying out of grief, fear, exhaustion, or depression. However, in many cases all they require is a sympathetic listener or a nice warm hug. Sometimes we handle these feelings best by just letting them happen, by accepting them, and by helping the other person to realize that he is not alone, that others have similar feelings, and that nobody think badly of him for his emotions. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 6

A person who habitually blocks off his emotions may find himself in great difficulties. However, here is a true story of a boy, who overcome hardships. Although he was an omnivorous reader and collected minerals, plants, and toy cars, Ryan Phillippe did not think he would go past high school. Fortunately, his parents almost forced him to enroll in college. Then he received a scholarship. It became personal. There was a drive in him, an immediate presence, the infinite of finite self, all-knowing, all-wise, and forever perfect. It was the real Ryan that sought a vision to embody his own consciousness. He was not sick, knew no lack, had no limitation, never suffered want, and did not express fear. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 6

He describes his college years as follows: I made a little money by doing unusual jobs, work for the college, killing dandelions on the lawn by dipping a stick in a bucket containing sodium arsenate solution and then stabbing the stick into the dandelion plant. Every day I chopped wood, a quarter of a cord perhaps, into lengths—they were already sawed—into a size that would go into the wood-burning stoves in the dormitory. Twice a week I cut up a quarter of beef into steaks or roasts, and every day I mopped the big kitchen, the very large kitchen area. Then at the end of my sophomore year, I got a job as a paving engineer, laying blacktop pavement in the mountains of Southern Oregon. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 6

What is so amazing about Ryan Phillippe is that he kept the enthusiasm and curiosity of a young child. Everything he did or said was bubbling with energy. Despite adversity and the later hardships, he exuded an obvious joie de vivre. And there was no secret about how he did it; in his own words: “I just went ahead doing what I liked to do, and then became an actor, and now I run my own business called Deedle (thedeedle.com). Ryan went for the with a complete sense of mastery in the realm of force declaring that the clam and complete satisfaction of the self-knowing God is expressing in and through him, unhindered and unopposed. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 6

Some will find such an attitude irresponsible: how can someone afford the self-indulgence of doing only what he likes to do? However, the point is that Ryan Phillippe—and many others who share his attitude—like to do almost everything, no matter how difficult or trivial, including the things they are forced to do. The only thing they definitely do not like is wasting time. Ryan became happy and joyous in is expression of all that is desirable and constructive; knowing that all destructive desires and inharmonious thoughts disappear and dissolve into the nothingness from which they came, having no power to perpetuate themselves, since they are neither person, place, not thing. So it is not that their life is objectively better than yours or mine, but that their enthusiasm for it is such that most of what they did ends up providing them with flow experiences. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 6

Child(ren) who learn the correct responses within the cultural framework have adjusted satisfactorily and receive immediate rewards for their correct behavior. Such societies produce large numbers of successful, conformist, social, and compassionate people.  A few individuals are learning that when we accept ourselves for emotional beings, we can find more beneficial outlets and feel good about the expression of our emotions. If we first of all accept and acknowledged and then guided into channels of expression that do not harm oneself or others, or do not make the individual feel guilt or shame afterwards, the strain of any strong emotions can be reduced. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 6

There is Light and Love in Life

Cd6h4J9UEAAaqu9

We should figure out what a safe yet stimulating social environment could be like in the future. Creative individuals confront life and suggest that it is possible to be both extroverted and introverted at the same time. In fact, expressing the full range from inner to outer-directedness might be the normal way of being human. What is abnormal is to get boxed in at one of the ends of this continuum, and experience life only as a gregarious, or only as a solitary being. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 10

20160319_175627

Certainly temperament and socialization will push us in one or the other direction, and after a while it becomes easy to fall in with these conditioning forces and learn to relish either social interaction or solitude, but not both. To do so, however, curtails the full range of what humans can experience, and diminishes the possibilities of enjoyment in life. Know that the love of God is wonderful and let your faith cast aside all doubt. Your faith shall go forth to meet others and confidence is your character.  #RyanPhillippe 2 of 10

You are not required to accept a passively boring life. Individuals can shape their psychic energy so as to get the most out of their experiences. About 15 percent of the population are never in flow, that means that just in this country tens of millions of people are depriving themselves of what makes life worth living. Of course, in many cases one can well understand why a person may experience flow rarely, or not at all. A deprived childhood, abusive parents, poverty, and a host of other external reasons may make it difficult for a person to find joy in everyday life. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 10

ryan-phillippe (1)

One the other hand, there are so many instances of individuals who overcame such obstacles that the belief that the quality of life is determined from the outside is hardly tenable. Some of the most vocal disagreements to what I have written about flow came from readers who claimed to have been abused, and who wanted me to know that contrary to what I had reported, it was perfectly possible for abused child(ren) to enjoy their lives. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 10

Examples are too many to mention. One of my favorites involves Antonio Gramsci, the philosopher of humanistic socialism that had such a strong influence on the development of European thought in this century, and on the eventual demised of Leninism-Stalinism. Born in 1891, to a destitute family on the poor island of Sardinia, Antonio had a deformed spine and was sickly through childhood. Their poverty became almost intolerable when his father, arrested on false charges, was imprisoned and could no longer support his large family. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 10

In an unsuccessful attempt to cure his back, Antonio’s uncle would hang the child by his ankles from the rafters of the hovel in which they lived. Antonio’s mother was so sure that the child was eventually going to pass away in his sleep that every night she set out his one good suit and a pair of candles on the dresser so that the funeral preparations would take less time. Given these facts, it would have come as no surprise that Antonio Gramsci grew up full of hatred and spite. Instead, he dedicated his life to helping the oppressed, by becoming a subtle writer and brilliant theoretician. He never compromised his humanitarian values. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 10

Even after Mussolini had him imprisoned in a medieval jail so that he would die in solitary confinement, he Antonio kept writing letters and essays full of light, hope, and compassion. All of the external factors conspired to twist Antonio Gramsci’s life; he must take all the credit for achieving the intellectual and emotional harmony that he left as his heritage. I entertain the hope that in our venturing we shall get addicted to wonder and know the joy of constantly feeling something a little new. Grief can take care of itself, but to get full value of a joy, you must have someone to divide it with. #RyanPhillippe 7 of 10

We have all been down, bummed-out, unhappy, restless and fretful, sad and tearful. Depression is an extreme of this. It is painful and no one likes it, but it is still a normal response. Feeling depressed usually means we are angry or blocked at some point. Rather than denying the feeling, we would be healthier to use the natural time out that depressions creates to work it out. If a person feels angry, but cannot let the emotion out, he often turns it in on himself and gets depressed. I know sometimes, too, I feel like giving up became of things that are going on, but I pray. #RyanPhillippe 8 of 10

When depressed, a person might get headaches when he would rather hit somebody else on the head. He gets sad and tearful when he would much rather make someone else feel that way. However, for whatever reasons, the typical cause of depression in most of us is held-in anger or resentment. The price we pay for avoiding the pain of being fully alive is that we are excluded from the pleasure as well. The way to love other people is to express what we feel—anger and love—without aiming to hurt feelings. Open, but reverent communication is how to make love in our lives. #RyanPhillippe 9 of 10

Look out and see; look up and know your freedom. Do not be cast down nor dismayed; be uplifted within and know that your salvation has come. Behold the wonders of the Universe and natural marvels of Earth. Look out and see that you are a good individual and people love you. Prepare yourself to accept and believe in life; to know and live. Let life enter and live through you, your heart, and mind. Rejoice that you are perfect and whole. You are in complete harmony with the World and cannot lose nor misplace anything. #RyanPhillippe 10 of 10

Natural Selection in Action on Man in the Universe

Throughout all eternity, the parts of the past are but parts of the future reversed. Many people generally report much lower moods when they are alone than when they are with others. They feel less happy, less cheerful, less strong, and more bored, more passive, and more lonely. The only dimension of experience that tends to be higher alone is concentration. When first hearing about these patterns, many thoughtful individuals are incredulous: “This cannot be true,” they say, “I love to be alone and seek out solitude when I can.” Sometimes when I am alone, I get a little blue, but it is hard to distinguish if it is because I am tired, or because someone is getting on my nerves.  #RyanPhillippe 1 of 10

20160318_172149

The eternity to come is but a prolongation of time present: and the beginning may be more wonderful than the end. We live in a community where there are a lot of busy people and nice people, but then there are others with a lot of time on their hands, and for fun, it seems they like to harass others and play dumb. There may be isolated instances when expressions of a particular emotion may be inappropriate or even disastrous (such as a surgeon’s sobbing openly during intricate brain surgery.) However, for most of us emotions form a greatly underdeveloped area of our experience. If we do not acknowledge our emotional side, learn how to cultivate and appreciate it, then we lose out on a great part of life. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 10

There is no particular virtue in being humanoid, unless you are a robot! Human being are not mechanical or machinelike. They have a full range of emotional responses, and if we were honest most of us would admit that we would prefer a bit more uplifting feeling in the people around us. However, it is possible to learn to like solitude, but it does not come easily. If one is an artist, scientist, or writer; or if one has a hobby, or a rich inner life, then being alone is not only enjoyable but necessary. Relatively few individuals, however, master the mental tools that will make this possible. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 10

There must be a reason why emotions are part of our human nature, though we cannot fully explain it. Probably there are survival values attached to certain strongly-felt emotions, such as fear, anger, surprise, and sorrow. However, even beyond this, a human being meeting the variety of experiences life presents cannot help but realize that a great part of really getting into life is emotional and sensate and intuitive, as we as merely cognitive. An instinct, experience, or tendency has survival value if it helps (or once helped) human beings to stay alive. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 10

Catch Hell 2014 (3)

All of us get angry. Some of us can handle it because we accept is as natural, express it in a healthy way, and do not go out and burn, kill, or rape the object of our anger. Some people have not learned how to accept their anger—perhaps because their families have not. They hold it back, say it does not exist, smile when they want to scream. After months or years of building up steam, they may erupt into orgies of violence or convert the anger into withdrawal, self-destruction, or some other form.  #RyanPhillippe 5 of 10

Brussels is Belgium’s capital and home to the European Union. On Tuesday, 22 March 2016, 34 people were killed and 250 seriously injured at Brussels airport, as there were two explosions, and a third explosion on the Metro system close to a European Union building hours later. The attacks were carried out by an airport suicide bomber believed to be El Bakraoui. A man likes to assume superiority over himself, by holding up his bad example and sermonizing it. Of course, uncontrollable and violent temper tantrums are hardly something to be commended. People have to learn how to let their anger out in simple, easy ways, while the angers are still small, immediate, and manageable. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 10

A hero, we think, is someone who is never afraid. By this same reasoning, then, a person who feels fear is labeled a coward. And so it goes, passed on from generation to generation. However, psychologically, it is nearly impossible never to feel fear. Generally, we assume that people who differ from us—by kindship, language, race, religion, education, social class—will have to be watched with suspicion. Early human groups usually assumed that they were the only true humans, and those who did not share their culture were not. Cultural differences have served to reinforce our isolation from each other. #RyanPhillippe 7 of 10

IMG_20160319_220201

Because of this, whenever different groups have come into contact, they have been all too often able to ignore each other’s humanity and treat the “Other” as an enemy that in case of need could be destroyed without too much compunction. This error in thinking has led to an infinity of conflicts between races and creeds barely simmering under the surface of civilization.  All species are capable of producing offspring at a faster rate than food. Since, in each generation more offspring are produced than can survive, and owing to limited resources, there is competition between individuals. #RyanPhillippe 8 of 10

Individuals who possess favorable variations or traits (e.g., speed, resistance to disease, protective skin) have an advantage over those who do not have them. In other words, the favorable trait increases the likelihood of survival and reproduction. Over long periods of geological time, successful variations accumulate in a population, so that later generations may be distinct from ancestral ones. Thus, in time, a new species of human may appear, and have unique abilities. People from different backgrounds have to learn to cooperate and tolerate foreign ways. #RyanPhillippe 9 of 10

The main thing in life, no matter what happens, is not to be afraid to be human, or else the World becomes incomprehensible. I am renewed and refreshed: my whole being responds to thy love, and I am complete in thee. All my ways are guarded and guided, and I shall live with thee eternally. Oh love of my heart and keeper of my spirit, none can separate us, for we are one. So shall thy wisdom guide me, they presence dwell within me, thy love keep me and thy life envelop me now and forevermore. I rest in thee. #RyanPhillippe 10 of 10

The Circle of Love is Complete

In many preliterate societies, the optimal amount of solitude was zero. They tried to avoid being alone like the plague. When people had to go into the bush to relieve themselves, they always went with a friend or relative, for fear of being harmed by witchcraft if they went alone. That sorcery is most effective against a lonely person is not an entirely fanciful idea. What it describes is a real fact, although it explanation is allegorical. It describes what many social scientists have noted, namely that the mind of a solitary individual is vulnerable to delusions and irrational fears. When we talk to another person, even about the most important subjects, such as the weather, or last night’s ball game, the conversation introduces a shared reality into our consciousness. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 5

cc

Even a greeting such as, “Have a great day” reassures us that we exist because other individuals notice us, and are concerned about our welfare. Thus the fundamental function of even the most routine encounters is reality maintenance, which is indispensable, lest consciousness disintegrate into chaos. My love is complete within me. The love of God binds me to itself, and will not let me go. I shall make a home for you, oh my wonderful love, and we shall journey through life hand in hand. I shall sit in your presence and learn the wondrous things you will tell me; for you are God. Cast aside all doubt, and be unafraid, my faith shall go fourth to meet you. It is by imitation, far more than by precepts, that we learn everything, and what we learn thus, we acquire not only more effectually, but more pleasantly. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 5

The development of critical thinking skills is an important and lasting benefit of college education. Such skills enable people to evaluate, compare, analyze, critique, and synthesize information so they will not accept everything that is presented to them as the truth, without concrete proof or explanation. Be skeptical. And if you do check on the validity of advertising, and political statements, you will find that they are frequently misleading or just plain wrong. Groups of plants and animals can be distinguished from other groups by their ability to mate with one another and produce offspring. However, humans, made in God’s image, should be considered unique and not part of the animal kingdom. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 5

When groups of organisms migrate to new areas, they will gradually be altered as a result of adaptation to somewhat a different environment. The external environment is an agent of change in species. However, one species cannot give rise to another. Life originated in the seas and all species descended from a common ancestor. Life evolves, there is a constant competition for resources, and the environment is important in the evolutionary process. There is a dynamic relationship between species and the environment such that if the external environment changes, an individual’s activity patterns will also change to accommodate the new circumstances. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 5

This will result in the increased or decreased use of certain body parts, and consequently, body parts would be modified. These physical changes would occur in response to bodily requirements so that if a particular part of the body felt a particular need, fluid forces would be directed to that point and the structure would be modified. Because the alteration would make the individual better suited to its habitat, the new trait would be passed on to the offspring. This theory is known as the inheritance of acquired characteristics, or the use-disuse theory. For example, a young man living in a city with tall trees and high-rise buildings will grow taller to try and absorb more Sunlight. As vital tissues move to increase the height of the body, it becomes slightly longer, and can absorb more Sunlight. The longer body is subsequently transmitted to offspring, with the eventual results that all offspring will become taller and thinner than their predecessors had. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 5

God’s Design– Benei Ha’Elohim

Through the Middles Ages (5th to 15th Century), one predominant feature of the European World view was that all aspects of nature, including all forms of life and their relationships to one another, never changed. This view was partly shaped by a feudal society. Feudal society is one that was popular during Medieval Europe, and society was shaped around relationships derived from holding of land, in exchange for service or labour. Feudal society was itself a hierarchical, rigid class system that had not changed much for centuries. It was also influenced by an extremely powerful religious system where the teachings of Christianity were taken literally. Because everyone believed in God, it was generally accepted that all life on Earth had been created by God exactly as it existed in the present, and the belief that life forms could not change came to be known as fixity of species. The plan of the entire Universe was viewed as God’s design. In what is called the argument from design, anatomical structures were planned to meet the purpose for which they were required. Wings, arms, eyes, and so on, fit the function they performed, and nature was a deliberate plan of the Grand Designer. Also, pretty much everybody believed that the Grand Designer had completed his works fairly recently.

Matthew Harris analyzed the begat chapter of Genesis, in the Holy Bible, which is God’s Constitution, and determined that the Earth was created 4004 Before Christ. That means the Earth is only 6,020 years old. For Europeans, the discovery of the New World and circumnavigation of the globe in the fifteenth century overturned some very basic idea about the planet. As Europeans began to explore the New World, their awareness of biological diversity was greatly expanded as they saw plants and animals previously unknown to them. It was also discovered that the Sun is the center of the Universe, and without the Sun, there could be no life, not just on Earth, but the entire Universe would go pitch black and freeze.  I see life as a gorgeously ironical, beautifully indifferent, splendidly suffering bit of chaos, the tragedy of which gives Man a significance, while without his losing fight with fate he would be a tepid, silly animal. The Nephilim are the offspring of the sons of God and the daughters of men in Genesis 6:4, or giants who inhabit Canaan in Numbers 13:33. Nephilim were a race that came to dominate the antediluvian (pre-flood) World, and they were a hybrid race between two distinct beings. They were a cross between fallen Angels (Sons of God or Benei Ha’Elohim) of The Watchers and human women. They were the Sons of God, rather than of men, because they had been created, not born.

Such a description, of course, would apply only to Adam (Luke 3:38) and to the Angels, whom God had directly crated. European scholars of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries developed methods and theories that revolutionized scientific thought. Their technological advances permitted investigations of natural phenomena and opened up entire new Worlds for discoveries such as never before had been imagined. However, even with these advances, the idea that, over time, living forms could change simply did not occur to people. Forces as wind water, erosion, local flooding, frost, the decomposition of vegetable mater, volcanoes, earthquakes, and glacial movements had all contributed in the past to produce the geological landscape that exists in the present. Moreover, the fact that these processes could still be seen in operation indicated that geological change continued to occur and that the forces that drove such changes were consistent, or uniform, over time. In other words, while various aspects of the Earth’s surface (e.g., climate, plants, animals, and land surfaces) are variable through time, the underlying process that influences they are constant. For the Earth to rapidly change, it would have to be extremely old, but because the changes happen as a relatively slow pace, it is more than likely the Earth is very young.

Good Morning Sun!

vbnm,

An inner light shines forth and frees me from the bonds of false belief. The effects of from the benefits of family relationships, on the quality of life, as o extensive that volumes could be written about it. Family interactions affect the quality of experience in different ways for each member. Fathers, mothers, and child(ren) will respond to the same event according to their perception of the situation, and the history of past vicissitudes in their relationship. The family acts as a mechanism that is used to increase the momentum of individuals and thereby provide greater stability or a reserve of available power during interruptions and hardships in life. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 10

My life is from above, and I remember that I am always perfect and complete. Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great. Moods at home are rarely as elated as with friends, and seldom as low as when is alone. At the same time, it is at home that one can release pent-up emotions with relative safety, as shown by the unfortunate abuse and violence that are a feature of dysfunctional families. It is my belief that the only power which can resist the power of fear is the power of love. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 10

I am clean, pure, and perfect, and my word eliminates all else. Few things are ore pleasure-destroying than being around someone who is constantly down on himself and the World. While nearly everyone has down periods from time to time, you will get and stay happier if you can generally avoid people who are habitual sourpusses. When both parents are employed, husbands’ moods are low at work, but improve when they get home, while the opposite is true for wives who have to face household chores when they return from the outside job, this creating cycles of emotional well-being. I silently bless all who enter my atmosphere with the realization of life and love and it heals all who come in its presence. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 10

Catch Hell 2014 (3)

My God within is now healing me of all sickness and pain and is bringing comfort to my heart and body. Contrary to what one would expect, there are more arguments in families that are emotionally close; the World’s greatest need is mutual confidence. No human being ever knows all the secrets of another’s heart. Yet there is enough confidence between mother and child, husband and wife, buyer and seller to make social life a practical possibility. Confidence may be risky, but it is nothing like so risky as mistrust. When the family is in real trouble, parents and children avoid each other instead of arguing. The moods of the father affect the temperaments and the children’s moods affect the mother, it is a circle of emotions in a family. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 10

jkl;

The inner power of God is within me. A person who generally likes oneself and is happy about life tends to be accepting of other people. The secret of enjoying life is to like yourself. One of the best ways to accomplish that (assuming that you start out feeling at least some disapproval of yourself) is to spend time around people who accept you. In such a situation, you will be able to let go much more, not having to fear disapproval if you feel like a happy Child. However, what if you have no accepting, happy friends or family? You can pick out any group of people those who reflect the attitude of life for which you are looking. This seems simplistic, but there is much truth in it. I am constantly finding more and more good. I see the perfect; there is nothing else to see, and no suggestion of otherness can enter my thought. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 10

My eyes behold the complete and perfect in all creation. My love is complete within me. I am quiet and peaceful. People who are always exchanging comments about how terrible everything is—at work, in their church, in the neighborhood—or wherever they happen to be have nothing better to do than play this game all the time. However, they are so busy wallowing in misery they cannot even see an opportunity for enjoyment if it were two inches away from their noses. (In fact, the point of the game they play is largely to avoid taking any responsibility for making their own life enjoyable.) #RyanPhillippe 6 of 10

The reverse philosophy applies, as well. If you can spend your time with people who are for the most part self-accepting lovers of life, in time that attitude and ability to relax and enjoy should rub off on you, as well. One of the best ways to turn on to living is to develop meaningful relationships. Relationships are sought by each of us because we are gregarious, social beings. We have a requirement to be accepted by others, to associate with, and to pursue life with other individuals. We have a requirement to share our identities and humanness with other humans. #RyanPhillippe 7 of 10

The secret of a creative or artistic life with other people is to be fully present with them. There are some rare and choice individuals with who you feel fully yourself. You feel fully yourself because you can be who you are around them and they accept and love you for you. They accept you when you are weak, strong, silly, or angry because those are the traits that make you lovable. It is these same people who make you feel alive that can help to keep you balanced and happy. An optimal family system is complex in that it encourages the unique individual development of its members while uniting them in a web of affective ties. #RyanPhillippe 8 of 10

Rules and discipline are required to avoid excessive waste of psychic energy in the negotiation of what can or cannot be done—when the child(ren) should come home, when to do homework, who is to wash dishes, and such. Then the psychic energy released from properly functioning family can be invested in the pursuit of each member’s goals. At the same time, each person knows that they can draw on the collective psychic energy of the family if needed. Growing up in a complex family, children have a chance to develop skills and recognize challenges, and thus are more prepared to experience life as flow. #RyanPhillippe 9 of 10

In our society, the average person spends about 33 percent of their waking time alone. Individuals who spend much more or much less time by themselves often have problems. Teenagers who always hang out with peers have trouble in school and are unlikely to learn to think for themselves, while those who are always alone are easy prey to depression and alienation. Suicide is more frequent among individuals whose work isolates them physically or emotionally, such as lumbermen in the North, or psychiatrists. When we are alone, or isolated, we cannot afford to fail. There is no one to pick us up. However, when we are loved, we can afford to fail. Someone loves us, puts us back together again, and we are on our feet again because we love in return. #RyanPhilippe 10 of 10

cgvbnm,

God permits industrious Angels afternoons to play. I met one, –forgot my school-mates. All, for him, straightway. God calls home the Angels promptly at the setting Sun; I missed mine. How dreary marbles after playing Crown! You are the Earth under my feet, the Earth that gave me life and has brought me up. Though you have never been praised in a poem or in a song, I still love you all the more. Even when I travel to the tips and end of the Earth, I see your kind smiling face and loving gaze in front of my eyes. You are in my heart a monument that will never fall. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 4

To know just how he suffered would be dear; to whom he could intrust his wavering gaze, until it settled firm on Paradise. To know if he was patient, part content, was dying as he thought, or different; was it a pleasant day to die, and did the Sunshine face his way? What was his furthest mind, of home, or God, at news that he ceased human nature on such a day? And wishes, had he any? Just as sigh, accented, had been legible to me. And was he confident until I will fluttered out in everlasting well? #RyanPhillippe 2 of 4

Your eyes are burning flame, giving me the biggest heating power. It will be impressed in my heart forever. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 4

Greek Cup—Claim of Heavenly Parentage

A force that could result in some of the deepest and most intimate joys of life has been taken over and manipulated by outside interests. With most others, sexuality is encouraged so that people channel their psychic energy into consumption that gives them the illusion of sexual fulfillment. However, with others, in an antiquated fashion, celibacy, virginity, and virtue are seen as gravely important, and to indulge in pleasures of the flesh is made to see as if it is punishable by death. This used to be the norm, in antiquated cultures, mostly for young women, but also for young men. It is as these youths are largely a service of economic or political alliances, and because they depend on their parents for inheritance and status, the conditions of equality and reciprocity that make friendships possible are lacking.  Even in modern times, in certain cultures, “irregular” sexual activity is condemned. Some men are vigorously counselled to conserve vital health by avoiding fornication, masturbation, and nocturnal emissions, and by rationing sex within marriage because it could cause physical and mental disorders. To protect virtue, some young men were excluded from the sexual realm.

SONY DSC

This was most during Victorian America, but there are still families like this around today. There is a man who does not want his son around anyone because he feels the young man may engage in sexual acts, nor does he want the appearance that may suggest something sexual is going on, so he makes his son stay indoors, keep to himself and only go out for exercise. His son is not even allowed to visit family members often, nor have frequent phone conversation. No one knows why the father is so strict in regard to keeping his children celibate, but others know how serious the father is, and so to stress him out, for fun, people make up lies and say that his son is out having sex, when he is in bed, alone and sleep. The parents go as far as to randomly stop by, call at late hours of the night and do inspections to make sure no sexual activity is taking place. He is not even allowed to touch himself in a sensual way. His energy is way too strong for it to be used in an improper manner. This is such a contrast to modern culture. Many people believe in free sex, and sex is used to sell things from music to deodorants, cars and even soft drinks. The modern family, with all of its problems, opens up new possibilities for optimal experiences that are much more difficult to come by in previous times and for some cultures of today.

The family of the Victorian times is only one of many possible alternatives. It is almost like this family has time traveled from another century and been planted in 2016. The Roman family is a very different social arrangement from modern American families, the patriarch had the legal right to kill his children if they displeased him, and biological descent mattered almost as much as it did for later aristocratic families of the nineteenth century. And these variations are still in practice. Conservatives who aim to uphold family values, still use these conventional patterns enshrined in what some would call archaic times. Marriage is such a complex institution in all societies. The negotiation involved in it, which were intended to guarantee that children born of the union would remain private. The bride and groom took on the responsibility of supporting and training the offspring of the union, both in terms of material requirements and of socialization into community values and rules. The family is based on the Middle Ages (5th to 15th Century). The father is down-to-Earth and noted for his plain speech. He believes in wearing uniform or plain clothes.

It seems to me that is we are going to live sanely, then we must respect and be sensitive to differences, realizing that no two individuals are alike, and that if we really understand someone, we understand how he differs from us. It would be ideal if society could become flexible enough to allow individuals increasing latitude in playing out the expectations of their culture. In other words, the social engineering process is required to be much geared toward helping each individual develop his own humanness. We must recognize our own requirements for self-expression, uniqueness, novelty, and creative experience, even when these conflict with the society’s requirements as some see them. This will mean some radical changes in the social institutions, which for too long have demanded conformity to an external system and denied the validity of individual experience.

Stop Fearing You Will Make a Mistake

cgvbnm,

In most societies, people depend on the social context to an ever greater extent than in the technological West. We believe that the individual should be left free to develop their potential and that society is not a perverse obstacle to personal fulfillment. The conceptualization of the human life cycle unfolds in a series of stages, with each stage having its unique tasks and the requirement for an orderly progression though stages. Socialization not only shapes behavior, it also forms consciousness to the expectations and aspirations of our culture, so that we feel shame when others observe or failings, and guilt when we feel that we have let others down. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 12

Catch-Hell-14502

Because the self depends on internalized community expectations, it is not difficult to see why we are so determined to both physically and mentally active. People have been taught that unless they are accepted by the group, that they will not live long, Catch Hell, and will soon fall prey to leopards and hyenas. We depend not only on our group of peers for protection, but also for social engineering. Because interactions are so important for keeping consciousness in balance, it is important to understand how they affect us, and to learn how to turn them into aspect of our lives that benefit us, instead of having a series of negative experiences. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 12

bnm,

As with everything in life, opportunities cost, one cannot enjoy a relationship for free. We must expend a certain amount of psychic energy to reap the benefits of our relationships. A relationship that leads to order in consciousness, instead of chaos and dysfunction, has to fulfill a couple of conditions. First of all, we have to find someone who is compatible with our goals and dreams. This can be difficult because most people are bound to pursue their own self-interest, rather than be concerned with that we require to keep operating.  #RyanPhillippe 3 of 12

And secondly, for a successful interaction is that when we find someone who is interested in us and will to support our requirements, we have to also be willing to invest attention in the other person’s goals—not an easy take either, considering that psychic energy is the most essential and scarce resource we own. Whether we are learning to kiss, type, speak, write, study, smoke, or compose a strong quartet, out behavior will be strengthened or weakened—made more or less probable—according to the events that follow them. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 12

hjm,

When we can keep someone happy, and finds someone who can keep us happy, it is possible to get the most valuable result from being with that person, and experience flow that comes from optimal interaction. Individuals are generally much happier and more motivated when they are with friends, regardless of what they are doing. Even studying and household chores can be good experiences when done with someone you care about. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 12

When we are with people who truly care about us and people we care about conditions for optimal interactions are usually maximized. We choose to be with them because we see their goals as compatible with our, and the relationship is one of equality, which provides mutual benefits. There are no external constrains that might lead to exploitation. Instead there is a sense of purpose and a new emotional and intellectual stimulation. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 12

Conditioning involves the use of rewards and punishments to strengthen the desired behavior or weaken undesirable behavior. When you were a child, someone probably gave you a piece of candy or a dime to keep you quiet. You probably did what was asked of you in exchange for that reward. You also learned something, to get the reward, I have to do what is expected of me. #RyanPhilippe 7 of 12

A good relationship provides new things, activities, and adventures; we develop new attitudes, ideas, and values; we get to know our mate more deeply and intimately. However, lack of true friends is often the main complaint of people confronting an emotional crisis in adult life. Another frequent cause of complaint is the lack of rewarding sexual relationships. One of the cultural achievements of this century has been the rediscover of good sex for a good life. Brainwashing is the term that is applied to this process when the desired behavior-change is in the area of social attitudes. People call this good sex the Netflix and Chill function. #RyanPhillippe 8 of 12

As usual, the pendulum has swung too far: Netflix and Chill function has been decontextualized from the rest of experience, and people have accepted the erroneous notion that liberal doses of Netflix and Chill will make them happy. Many individuals are simply being treated as laboratory guinea pigs in a special kind of sexual experiment: being conditioned, through significant rewards and punishment, to forget their loyalty to their own relationships or body to swear allegiance to the principles of being sex toys. #RyanPhillippe 9 of 12

Variety and frequency of Netflix and Chill encounters are becoming an obsession and taking precedence over the depth and intensity of the relationship in which they are embedded. It is ironic that on this issue the traditional teachings of the churches are being eroded. The original purpose for the Netflix and Chill function was for the purpose of making children and binding the parental couple. Of course this does not mean that these function need to be the only purpose of Netflix and Chill. For instance, the adaptive function of taste bunds was to distinguish between wholesome and spoiled food, but with time we developed complex culinary arts based on subtle nuances of taste. #RyanPhillippe 10 of 12

So also whatever were the original reasons for Netflix and Chill, it can always be used to yield new possibilities enriching life. However, just as gluttony that has no relationship to hunger seems unnatural, an obsession with Netflix and Chill that is divorced from other human requirements, such as intimacy, caring, and commitment, becomes equally aberrant. And one day, you will eventually run into a hot steamy beefcake or some rotten fish, and you could get sick or die from food poisoning. So think about what you do with that burrito and consider if you really want to cook some fish. Trial and error learning is the simplest form of learning and is probably the way many people have acquired the ability to do simple hand skills as children. #RyanPhillippe 11 of 12

A child can be instructed in the use of a spoon, observe his parents using theirs, but until he picks it up dips into the pablum, and thrusts it at his mouth, he does not really acquire the coordination skills necessary to feed himself. Of course, the first few efforts are failures! More pablum ends up on the floor than in his mouth. However, gradually, practice brings perfection; he is rewarded more and more by his slight successes. Eventually he succeeds in accomplishing the tricky task. Again, reinforcement of successful behavior is involved. Not only does the child get a reward of tasting the food and satisfying his hunger, he gets the praise and attention of his parents, who are probably very eager by now for him to take over this little chore for himself. An error does not become a mistake until your refuse to correct it. #RyanPhillippe 12 of 12

We Have Many Different Statuses in a Lifetime

cvbnm

Getting ahead in industry is an adventure—and there are not many people today who like adventure. The supervisor who gets ahead mist have a basic materialistic selfish interest in a better life and he must believe he will reach his goal if he tries hard enough. During the periods when people have to rely on themselves—in frontier settings—a strong sense of individualism was not only an asset, it was a necessity for survival. Each of us still is required to grow and develop a strong sense of himself as an individual. However, increasingly competing social and group demands cannot be ignored or played down. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 10

I feel like if I do not wake up and write in the morning, my day will horrible. When I am writing, it gives me the feeling that I am reprograming my life. Life, lately, has felt like that movie Ground Hogs Day, where every day is the same day repeated and the character eventually catches on and tries to change it. I feel that every day is another chance to get my life right, and that one day everything I desire will be with me. Like many, I am tempted to try drugs to create a sense of happiness or euphoria, but I want to be as natural as possible. People have physical and emotional needs that must be expressed and satisfied. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 10

I want to actually make my life better, and hopefully share things that will elevate people are me as well. I am a good person and I want to be honored for my accomplishments, not demonized by people who are jealous of me, because although they may have more awards and a better career, they are not as hot, so to speak, so they do their best to suppress me to keep me from advancing in my life.  When the lifestyle of a social group becomes obsolete, when work turns into a boring routine and community responsibilities lose their meaning, it is likely that leisure will become increasingly more important. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 10

Having a good conversation, gardening, reading poetry, volunteering in a hospital, or learning something new and exciting are things that keep many people happy. I know that when I sit idle, I think about all the bad things that have been done to me and want to hide under a blanket. Just as the excellence of an individual life depends to a large extend on how free time is used, so the quality of a society hinges on what its members do in their leisure time. Suburban communities can be so mundane because one has reason to believe that behind the impressive facades rising from the emerald green lawns that nobody is doing anything interesting. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 10

jkl;

There are entire countries where one gets the impression from talking even with member of the societal elite that besides money, family, fashion, vacations, and the exchange of sleazy gossip that there is not much that engages their attention. People seem fearful to dive into the caverns of the mind and speak about ideas like Heaven, time travel, or new scientific ideas. However, there are still some areas in the World where one finds retired professionals enchanted with classical poetry, who collect ancient volumes in their library, or farmers who play musical instruments or write down the stories of their village, preserving the best creations of their ancestors while adding to them. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 10

When society becomes too dependent on entertainment, it is likely that there will be less psychic energy left to cope creatively with the technological and economic challenges that will inevitably arise. However, creative people are not trenched into a frozen moment in time. Sometimes I feel like I am stuck on the moon alone, and have to find a way to connect with others. I am using the best knowledge from the past and the present to discover a better way of persevering into the future. A fully human person knows he is responsible for his own existence. He is aware of the common bond he has with all other people. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 10

And thankfully, the World is full of interesting things to do. Only the lack of imagination, or lack of energy stand in the way. Otherwise, each of us could be a poet or musician, engineer, inventor or explorer, a scholar, scientist, artist, or collector. Prove there is something wrong with your critics by doing amazing things, while they try to tear you down. Now that we are here, what shall we do about it? Some individuals are more gifted at life than others. He takes full responsibility for his actions, and does not demand perfection, but tries to fulfill his own potential. #RyanPhillippe 7 of 10

When thinking about what causes the best and the worst moods in life, chances are one would think of other people. A lovers or spouse can make you feel wonderfully elated, but also irritated and depressed; child(ren) can be a blessing or a pain, a word from the boss can make or break a day. Of all the things we normally do, interaction with others is the least predictable. At one moment it is flow, the next apathy, anxiety, relaxation, or boredom. Because of the power that interactions have on the mind, clinicians have developed forms of psychotherapy that depend on maximizing pleasant encounters with others. #RyanPhillippe 8 of 10

No one wants to constantly hear sad stories, dramas, nor hear you gossip about someone else’s sex life. Spend more time reflecting on yourself because chances are you are not as well liked as you think because you are constantly putting other people down and making those around you miserable. There is no doubt that well-being is deeply attuned to relationships, and that consciousness resonates to the feedback we receive from other people. Use neither success nor failures to prove that you are superior or inferior to other people. #RyanPhillippe 9 of 10

Americans have created a society in which they are automatically nobodies, since no one has any stable place or enduring connection. The village idiot or the tramp who dances with stars of earlier times was less of a nobody in this since than the mobile junior executive or academic. An American has to make a place for himself because he does not have one. If there were in the World today any large number of people who desired their own happiness more than they desires the unhappiness of others, we could have a paradise in a few years. Do not be overcome by evil, but be overcome by good. You are Heaven on Earth! #RyanPhillippe 10 of 10
