By the turn of the 19th century, Southern vigilante terrorism and Jim Crow laws produced two societies—a white one of privilege and power, and a black one of utter destitution in money, knowledge, and rights. In the South, blacks were barred from voting, using public facilities, attending schools with whites, and associating with whites for reasons other than economic necessity.

The Civil Rights Act of 1875 was designed to grant equal access to public accommodations such as restaurants, theaters, and transportation. However, in Los Angeles, California, USA the international airport has decided to reinstate segregation.

The airport is going to build a new terminal to allow celebrities, sports stars, and the World’s wealthy to travel directly from their cars to their first class seat without having to interact with any of the general travelling public.

It will cost the rich and famous about $1,800 per trip to escape from the public, plus the cost of their ticket to be chauffeured directly to their special terminal, which will include exclusive lounges, dedicated catering, and separate security and border checkpoints. When it is time to board the plane, the privileged will be driven directly to their plane.

The rich and famous will only have to walk about 60 steps, and spend no time in line, while the general public walks about 2,200 steps from the plane to the terminals, and has to spend hours in line checking their bags, getting boarding passes, going through security, and picking up luggage.

The new airport for celebrities and business executives to LAX will be 43,750 square feet. Many people are upset because they see this as segregation, which was made illegal by the 14th Amendment of the United States of America Constitution and with the Brown verses Board of Education in 1954.

Not only that, but the airport is public transportation, and many people are forced to be in the same terminals are dogs, but the rich and famous can now avoid an entire class of people. A consequence is that segregation could make the rich and famous a target for terrorist attacks because they will all be in one place at the same time.
