Life Span Development and Conflict Managment

Friendship makes us warmly espouse the interest of others; but it is very cold to the gratification of their passions. To be sure, problems of identify occur at other times too. However, in a very real sense, puberty signals that it is time to begin forming a new, more mature self-image. Many problems during adolescence stem from unclear standards about the role young people should play within society. Are they adults or children? Such ambiguities make it difficult for adolescents to form clear images of themselves and of how they should act? Answering the question, “Who am I?” is also spurred by cognitive development. After adolescents have attained the stage of formal operations, they are better able to ask questions about their place in the World, and about moral, values, politics, social relationships, and private thoughts. Then too, being able to think about hypothetical possibilities allows the adolescent to contemplate the future and ask more realistically, “Who will I be?” Many teenagers are preoccupied with imaginary audiences (people they imagine are watching them). In other words, teenagers may act like others are aware of their thoughts and feelings. Sometimes this leads to painful self-consciousness—as in thinking that everyone is staring at a bad haircut you just received. The imaginary audience also seems to underlie attention-seeking performances involving outlandish dress or behavior. In any case, adolescents become very concerned with controlling the impressions they make on others. For many, being on stage in this way helps define and shape an emerging identity. I will extol the LORD with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly.

Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them. Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever. He has shown his people the power of his works, giving them the lands of other nations. The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy. They are steadfast for ever and ever, done in faithfulness and uprightness. He provided redemption for his people; he ordained his covenant forever—holy and awesome is his name. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise. Praise the LORD. Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who finds great delight in his commands. His children will be might in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for the gracious and compassionate and righteous man. Good will come to him who is generous and lends freely, who conducts his affairs with justice. Surely he will never be shaken; a righteous man will be remembered forever. He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. His heart is secure, he will have no fear; in the end he will look in triumph on his foes. He scattered abroad his gifts to the poor, his righteousness endures forever; his horn will be lifted high in honor. The unlovely man will see and be vexed, he will gnash his teeth and waste away; the longings of the wicked will come to nothing. The adolescent search for identity often results in increased conflict with parents. This is especially true in early adolescence.

However, some conflict with parents is probably necessary for growth of a separate identity. A complete lack of conflict may mean that adolescent is afraid to seek independence. Actually, adolescents and parents usually agree to a large degree about basic topics such as religion, marriage, and morals. The largest conflicts tend to be over more superficial differences regarding styles of dress, manners, social behavior, and the like. In the majority of cases, adolescents who ask their parents for emotional or practical support actually receive it. Adolescents naturally desire more freedom, but they do not want their parents to abruptly abandon them. Teenagers do best when they are given gradual increases in personal freedom and more opportunities to make decisions. Problems occur when parents crack down too hard or throw their hands up and surrender control over the adolescent’s behavior. LORD, I say to you, you are my God, hear my cry for mercy. Oh, Sovereign LORD, my strong deliverer, who shield my head in the day of battle—do not grant the wicked their desires, do not let their plans succeed, or they will become proud. Let the heads of those who surround me be covered with the trouble their lips have caused. Let burning coals fall upon them; may they be thrown into the fire, into firry pits, never to rise. Let slanderers not be established in the land; may disaster hunt down men of violence. I know that the LORD secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy. Surely the righteous will praise your name and the upright will live before you. LORD, I call to you; come quickly to me. Hear my voice when I call to you.

May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening of the sacrifice. Set a guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips. Let not my heart be drawn to what is unlovely, do not take part in bad deeds with men who are ungodly; let me not eat of their delicacies. Let a righteous man join me—it is a kindness; let him bless me—it is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it. Yet my prayer is every against the deeds of wrong. The rulers of the wrong doers will learn that my words are well spoken. However, my eyes are only fixed on you Sovereign LORD; in you I take refuge, there is nowhere else I would rather be—do not give me over to death. Keep me from the snares they have laid for me, from the traps set by evildoers. Let the ungodly fall into their own nets, while I pass by safety. Look to my right and see; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life. I cry to you LORD; I say you are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living. Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need; rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me. Set me free from my prison, that I may praise your name. Then the righteous will gather about me because of your goodness to me. LORD, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness, and come to my relief. Do not bring your kin into judgment, for no one living is righteous before you.

In high school were you a jock, preppy, brain, hacker, surfer, cowboy, punk, mod, rapper, princess, prince, cheerleader, gargoyle, or warlock? Increased identification with peer groups is quite the common during adolescence. A peer group consists of people who share similar social status. To an extent, membership in such groups gives a measure of security and a sense of identity apart from the family. Other than this, group members provide practice in belonging to a social network. Children tend to see themselves more as members of society as a whole. Therefore, gaining a broader, member of society perspective can be a major step toward adulthood. But are not groups also limiting? Yes, they are. Conformity to peer values peaks in early adolescence, but it remains strong at least through high school. Throughout this period there is always a danger of allowing group pressure to foreclose (shut down) personal growth. By the end of high school, many adolescents have not yet really explored various interest, values, vocations, skills, or ideologies. Perhaps that is why many students view moving on to work or college as a chance to break out of earlier roles—to expand or reshape personal identity. For many who do choose college, the effect may be more a matter of placing further changes in identity on hold. By doing so, students keep open the possibility of changing majors, career plans, personal style, and so on. Typically, commitment to an emerging adult identity grows stronger in later college years. The search for identity may be intensified during adolescence, but it does not end there. For example, the process of selecting a career often starts in childhood and continues into young adulthood.

At school, friendship is a passion. It entrances the being; it tears the soul. All loves of after life can never bring its rapture, or its wretchedness; no bliss so absorbing, no pangs of jealousy or despair so crushing and keen. Though her heart was not large enough to harbor more than one light love at a time, it had room for many warm friendships; and she was the warmest, most helpful, and most compassionate of friends, far more serious in friendship then in love. Perhaps the most delightful friendships are those in which there is much agreement, much disputation, and yet more personal liking. That new sense which is the gift of sorrow–, that susceptibility to the bare offices of humanity which raises them into a bond of loving fellowship, as to haggard men among the icebergs the mere presence of an ordinary comrade stirs the deep fountains of affection. There are jilts in friendship as well as in love; and, by the behavior of some men in both, one would almost imagine that they industriously sought to gain the affections of others with a view only of making the parties miserable. Out of love to one’s self, one must speak better of a friend than an enemy. In his friendships and affection, man is subject to some inscrutable moral law, similar in its effects to what the chemists call affinity. The LORD, who remains faithful forever, He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free, the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous. The LORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. Love is nothing in comparison with the intimacy of two congenial friends.

Families in the United States of America: The Reality

It is imaginable that in some way we accept these marvels—not merely by naturalizing process to which we are prone, sine it is not often applicable; nor by symbolizing process, which must too much tax our inventiveness; nor by that gracious suspension of disbelief that permits the work to live at all. It is imaginable, rather, that we accept what in some obscure manner answers to something in us—to an inclination for, and a sense of, mystery that does not quite surrender to the commanding patterns of rationalistic life. Indeed, the more rational the ordering of existence, the greater the thirst for mystery; and our own is unslaked. Mostly we appease it in shoddy ways, by automation; and so we have readiness for the larger mystery that is not snuffed out by the mundanely factual in the past era of detective triumph. This is the report we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claimed to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by truth. However, if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us all from sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all the unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives. My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin.

However, if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours, but also for the sins of the whole World. We know that we have some to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. However, if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in you. Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard. Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and you, because the darkness is passing and true light is already shinning. Anyone who claims to be in the light, but hates his brother is still in the darkness. Whoever loves his brother lives in the lights, and there is nothing in that person to make one stumble. Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. However, you know that he appeared so that he may take away our sins. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. Dear Children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is righteous, just as he is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.

This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. This is the report you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil, and his brothers were righteous. Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the World hates you. On Tuesday, 9th December 2014, in Saint Louis, Missouri, a 17-year-old boy was charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action. It was reported that he was fighting with his 25-year-old brother, and the mother got scared and left the house, but it is unclear what the young men were fighting about. When officers responded, the found the body of the 25-year-old man lifeless, and the teenage brother is being held, at the Saint Louis County Jail, on $200,000.00 bond, so someone will have to come up with $20,000.00 to bail the teen out of jail. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death. Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal love. This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and see his brother in need, but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with the words or tongue, but with actions and in truth. However, even thus open to the unresolved may be sentimental indulgence.

What justifies the sense of mystery is, in the end, that quality of the mysterious event that makes it seem, but a teasing and unresponsive puzzle, but a breaking-through of transcendental reality. Some such experiences may be provided reputably by the spirits, the visions, all the strange existences and events beyond nature that God keeps coming back to and setting forth for our contemplation. Through mystery, that is, we grasp a little more of the totality which we hazard is the felt essence of God. And in reminder: mystery and totality are attributes of the reality ordinarily called religious—a double moral process hardly to be dealt with as no more than amiable make-believe. No animal is more gregarious than a fashionable man, who, whatever may be his abilities to think, rarely decides, and still less frequently acts for himself. Nothing is great, but the personal. As civilization advances, the accidents of life become each day less important. The power of man, his greatness and his glory, depend on essential qualities. Brains every day become more precious than Blood. The frigid theories of a generalizing age have destroyed the individuality of man.

In the 1990s, a lot of know it all’s, who knew nothing, came out claiming to be experts in psychology and economics and did more harm by convincing people to buy things they could not afford, based on speculation of a consistent increase in income, due to short term predictions that the tech bubble and real estate boom would continue, but they failed to look at long term projections that the market would eventually contract because it surpassed the equilibrium and there was not a large enough population to keep fueling the demand. Also, novice psychologist spent a lot of time watching the new CSI and Police detective shows and became inspired to be psychologist and therapist, but did not really spend enough time studying life, the brain, sociology, communication, and life to understand what was truly going on in society. Instead of telling people to try harder or study more, psychologist and therapist started using affirmative action to make loser children feel better than they were. They would tell the fat kids that the skinny kids were abnormal, instead of encouraging more physical education classes.  These novice social doctors also told losers it was there right to harass popular kids and get away with it because they will send popular kids to jail for defending themselves against the losers; these losers are now disrupting the natural order, and becoming vicious and evil bullies.

So the popular high school jocks, with the blonde hair and brown eyes, never made it to college, and were replaced. The popular cheerleader, with long black hair, and caramel skin never became prom queen because some fat mean girl set her up. Teenage kids pay a great deal of attention to clothes. They do not consciously dress to be popular. They dress to look good. But to who? To the other kids. Other kids’ opinions become their definition of right, not just for clothes, but for almost everything they do, right down to the way they walk. And so every effort they make to do things right is also, consciously or not, an effort to be more popular. Nerds do not realize this.  Adam Lanza, Newtown School Shooter, was a Nerd, honors Student. And now Adam Lanza is accused of killing his mother and 20 children because no one was allowed to push back and stand their ground, so nerds go insane and kill people when they get up set, and these are rich kids, who have everything they need. Nerds do not realize that it takes work to be popular. In general, people outside some very demanding fields do not realize the extent to which success depends on constant (though often unconscious) effort. For example, most people seem to consider the ability to be a journalist as some kind of innate quality, like being tall. In fact, most people who can be journalist like writing, photography, and communication and research, and have spent many hours doing it; that is why they are good at it. Not everyone is a real journalist. Not just anyone is trusted enough or has the skill to host Nightline, Good Morning America, World News Tonight, ABC World News, CBS This Morning, or Anchor for CNBC. Not just anyone gets to work for NBC and all the major Networks and basically becomes the Queen of Babylon (Media).

Few smart kids can spare the attention that popularity requires. Unless they also happen to be good-looking, natural athletes, or siblings of popular kids, they will tend to become nerds. And that is why smart people’s lives are sought after, life at that level revolves far more around popularity than before or after, and everyone wants to be you. However, people need to learn to happy with who they are, not everyone has star quality and that is just part of life. Look, we need people to build rocket ships, not everyone can play football, you nerds will be rich in about ten years, just sit tight, a lot of pretty women will want to marry you because you are smart and make a lot of money, later in life, and you will afford nice cars and homes. And thick women know how to cook and are nice. Men want to date them because they know how to love. Some people only know how to be popular. Likewise, popular is not just something you are or you are not, but something you make yourself.  The main reason nerds are unpopular is that they have other things to think about. Their attention is drawn to books or the natural world, not fashions and parties. They are like someone trying to record a like shot, while balancing a journal on his head. Other photojournalist, who can focus their whole attention, on the game, effortlessly get all the best images, and wonder why they seem so incapable. Even if nerds cared as much, as other kids, about popularity, being popular would be more work for them. The popular kids learned to be popular, and to want to be popular, the same way the nerds learned to be smart, and to want to be smart: from their parents. While the nerds were being trained to get the right answers, the popular kids were being trained to please, and be pretty and happy and outgoing and smell good.

All because people were made to believe lies that made the feel better and other people rich. Like the Jetson’s, they were basically telling you, just push a button and it is now your turn to shine! Forget all ethics, morals and laws and go against logic to get your way, even though you know it is wrong, you will believe me because I am a college graduate, and you think I am smarter than you just because I went to college and will not trust your own discernment. To have lost the godlike conceit that we may do what we will, and not to have acquired a homely zest for doing what we can, shows a grandeur of temper which cannot be objected to in the abstract, for it denotes a mind that, though disappointed, forswears compromise. Though all me be made of one metal, yet they be not cast in one mold. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything, so keep that in mind. Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him. And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he have us. Love can make a molehill appear as a mountain, a Jew’s-harp sound like a trumpet, and a daisy smell like a violet.

Love is of the spirit and knows not death. There is only one perfect flower in the wilderness of Life, Love. The man who works up a good income has had no time to learn love to its solemn extreme; the man who has learned that has had no time to get rich. The beloved lover is always called happy, and happiness is considered as a well-fleshed indifference to sorrow outside it. That simple, primitive love which knits us to the beings who have been nearest to us, in their times of helplessness or of anguish, is perfect love of poetry, which can exalt the relations of the least-instructed human beings. Do you agree or disagree with the concept that globalization will influence the fashion industry, worker wages, and conditions in American industries? In 2015, the media described the deplorable conditions at a factory in downtown Sacramento, where immigrants worked 80 hours a week, at $2.00 per hour, virtually enslaved behind wrought iron fences. Such conditions are the norm in the industry. Most immigrant workers toil in old high-rise office buildings that were not constructed for manufacturing. Consequently, the vast majority of factories are dirty, dangerous, and overcrowded.

People rarely get breaks—even for visits to the restroom—and the noise levels are extreme, including shouts and threats by foremen, who harass and intimidate operators.  Chad Appelbaum mention one interview in which he told of his visit, at his brother’s apartment on New Year’s Day: The neighbor shouted, at my brother all day long…Finally, she came screaming and kicking on the door, and hollering like she lost her mind. She screamed, and then she started crying…She stood up, grabbed her purse, and she left. She never came back or said anything, just like everybody else does. Norma Macias, Councilwoman, is speaking out against what she calls “Shameful” at a local Apartment-home complex. The councilwoman reported that she intends to do whatever she can, including raising the issue to colleagues, to support residents of the high-rise. “What is taking place here is nothing short of criminal, to take advantage and gouge these people. I, for certain, want to make an issue of what is going on here. We need to protect our residents. The landlord knows these people are stuck. It really breaks my heart. The old people have other options, the youth do not. There is discount senior housing everywhere.” Norma Macias reported. One resident, who asked to remain anonymous, for fear of retaliation said that his family has lived in the community for more than 30 years, and has seen their rent skyrocket. When they first lived there, rent was $100.00. Now, it is $1,160.00 a month just for the dirt.

According to the U.S. Census American Community Survey, the median rent for in apartment, in Sacramento California, from 2009 to 2015 is $1,003.00 a month. American families have always been highly diverse and resilient, and they are even more so today. Currently, many people shift from one family type to another, over the life course to suit their changing interest and needs. A person may begin in a child-dree, dual-earner family, then decide to have children, later divorce, and head a single parent family, and still later to remarry and establish a blended family. In some ways, daytime soap operas are social pioneers, providing cutting-edge models of family diversity and family problems. Watch a soap opera some afternoon and critically assess family images and gender roles, however. You will discover that few soap operas have relinquished fundamental patriarchal themes. Men still have more control of the action than women and women continue to be portrayed as more emotional than men. And soaps persist in the belief that women’s value is directly related to their sexual allure and physical attractiveness, and that finding Mr. Right is every woman’s goal.

Certainly, the mainstream media play an important role in enlightening the public about family trends and problems. Polls have consistently shown a strong correlation between media publicity and public concerns about domestic violence, date rape, child neglect, and a host of other important social problems. However, the most part of the mainstream media emphasize drama and novelty for entertainment purposes—not to critically assess or remedy family problems. And virtually all mainstream media frame issues in ways that emphasize the personal, rather than the social contexts in which family problems occur, as noted. Are there some things regarding your physical or intellectual life to which you have been paying no attention at all? You no more need a day off, from spiritual concentration, no more than your heart needs a day off from beating. As you cannot take a day off morally, and remain moral, neither can you take a day off spiritually, and remain spiritual. You have to be a good person every day. God wants you to be entirely His, and it required paying close attention to keep yourself fit. Love has a way of cheating itself consciously, like a child who plays at solitary hide-and-seek; it is pleased with assurance that it all the while disbelieves. The vainest woman is never thoroughly conscious of her own beauty until she is loved by the man who sets her own passion vibrating in return.

Your Body is a Temple

All flesh is not the same: Men have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another, fish another. There are also Heavenly bodies and there are Earthly bodies; but the splendor of the Heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the Earthly bodies is another. The Sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another, and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor. So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raise in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. So it is written: The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam, a life-giving sprit. The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. The first man was out of the dust of the Earth, the second man from Heaven. As was the Earthly man, so are those who are of the Earth; and as is the man from Heaven, so also are those who are of Heaven. And just as we have borne the likeness of the Earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from Heaven. I declare to you brother, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed–in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true.

Bad company corrupts good character. Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say to this your shame. We are mostly accustomed to look upon all opposition which is not animate as that of the stolid, inexorable hand of indifference, which wears out the patience more than the strength. We are not saved only to be instruments for God, but to his sons and daughters. As His disciples, our lives must be a holy example of the reality of our message. Even the natural heart of the unsaved will serve if called upon to do so, but it takes a heart broken by conviction of sin, baptized by the Holy Spirit, and crushed into submission to Gog’s purpose to make a person’s life a sacred example of God’s message. The only way to be obedient to the Heavenly vision is to give our utmost for His highest—our best for God’s glory. This can be accomplished only when we make a determination to continually remember God’s vision. However, the best way to be is obedient in the details of our everyday life. The goal is self-control. Try to directly alter troublesome thoughts and actions. You do not need people to pry into your past or emotions and conflicts; you simply need to break the habit of drinking too many colas. Even when more serious problems are at stake, techniques like the self-control have proved valuable. If you have learned responses that cause problems, then you can change these issues by relearning more appropriate responses. Behavior modification is any classical or operant condition to directly alter human behavior.

We cannot feel, or if we feel we cannot so intensely feel, our oneness, except by dividing ourselves from the World. Every man thinks that perfection, that he is himself; that the only knowledge that he possesses; and that the only pleasure that he pursues. Trust me, there are as many ways of living as there are men, and one is no fit to lead another, than a bird to lead a fish, or a fish a quadruped. Then the LORD God Almighty will have mercy. You oppress the righteous and take bribes and you deprive the poor of justice in the courts. Therefore the prudent man keeps quiet in such times for the times are unlovely. Seek good, not bad, that you may life. Then the LORD God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is. Do not like bad, love well; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the LORD God will have mercy on the remnant of Joseph. There will be wailing in all the streets and cries of anguish in every public square. The farmers will be summoned to weep and the mourners to wail. There will be wailing in all the vineyards, for I will past through your midst, says the LORD. Why do you call me, Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say? I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice.

He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. However, the one who hear my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete. Imagine that you are eating a chocolate bar, and then suddenly you discover that you just half of a chocolate laxative. You vomit. Months pass before you eat chocolate again without feeling ill. You now have a conditioned aversion to chocolate. (A condition aversion is a learned disliked or negative emotional response to some stimulus.) For example, is every one of your neighbors is women, and all of them are mean and friends with each other, you will have a conditioned aversion in your generalizations about women.  How is a conditioned aversion used in Therapy? This notion, which establishes the nature of the serpent’s role in sexual symbolism rather concisely, also summarized the character of the male boundary fear. It was thought by the ancients, and is still believed by the European peasantry, that during sexual conjunction the male serpent introduces its head into the mouth of the female, and that the latter gnaws and bites it off, thus becoming fecundated.

The serpent represents, among other things, the widespread notion of female vagina dentate (Latin for toothed vagina) describes a folk tale in which a woman’s vagina is reported to contain teeth, with associated implication that sexual intercourse might result in injury, emasculation or castration for the man involved, and is often portrayed biting the penis. The serpent is not so much a phallic symbol, but the symbol of oral aggression against the phallus. The trivial realities upon which these grotesque fears are based are nothing more than the ejaculation and detumescence, with the accompanying emotional quiescence. The oral-narcissistic conflict translates detumescence into castration-what once was is no longer—ejaculation into vampirism, and satiation into death. Concern over the loss of semen is rife in Asian countries, where hunger and deprivation contribute to oral definitions of sexuality. However, the sudden emotional quiescence is probably the most powerful factor in activating male fears, particularly in societies where masculine prestige is strongly dependent upon activity of some type. Alexander is reputed to have reported that only sleep and sexual intercourse made him conscious of his mortality. The fear of penetration usually betokens other boundary fears, such as those found in a patient: he was afraid to have intercourse because he is allergic to latex.

There was no reason for him to have sex, as he could not reproduce and orgasms are said to be painful. In two other cases the father’s embrace is feared as lethal. The association between snakes and death, and even in this sense, however, the snake as phallus is relatively infrequent in Greek myth, and it may be that the obstinacy with which psychoanalysts cling to this equation is based on a genuine cultural difference between Greece and Victorian Europe. It is assumed today that the fear of snakes is found primarily among women (partly perhaps because Victorian ladies were expected to be somewhat phobic), but this was certainly not true in ancient Greece. I have already related how Alexander’s mother, Olympias, slept peacefully (I refer to the presumed reality, not the associated myth) beside a serpent; and Plutarch reported that tells of wild Dionysian dancing with serpents, which wound themselves around the women and their spears and chaplets, frightening the men out of their wits. We would expect, from our analysis thus far, that in given culture the male would also be phobic of sexual encounter and such intimate situations and sexual innuendos tends to inflict its anxieties on him, so that the difference would be far from absolute. We find his fears are justified. They make too many demands of the young man. Psyche begs him ceaselessly to let her see her sisters, so she can flaunt her good fortune; he yields, they frighten her with the snake story, and she peeks at him, discovering that it is indeed a handsome boy in bed, sleeping alone peacefully, rather than a serpentine mass of transference. However, it is too late, she has hurt him, and he leaves.

Psyche wanders from one mother-goddess to another, but they all refuse her, and she finally comes face to face with her angry mother-in-law, Aaliyah, who sets her a series of impossible tasks, including sending her to the underworld. She manages to perform them, however, and is reunited with her husband, Eros. Thus she resolves the conflict by returning to the source of it and fulfilling her apparently insatiable needs (which she has thoughtlessly projected onto the mother figure, perhaps with some psychological justice). Note that while in the underworld, Psych must not permit herself to accept any appetizing food or comforts, nor nature any of those who seek help; she must maintain a cold, narcissistic detachment—otherwise, as is always the case with such tales, the visit will be permanent. For going to Tartarus and back is the precise equivalent of the ultimate insatiable need—the desire for the complete peace and security of the womb, without being destroyed.  I noted earlier that while the serpent was associated with death and fears of the dead, it also connoted immortality. In a similar fashion, the serpent appears as a homeopathic remedy for the fears of boundary violation which sexuality arouses in orally fixated individuals. The snake is often utilized as a bisexual symbol, and bisexuality, like parthenogenesis, is an obvious solution to boundary fears.

However, while the parthenogenetic fantasy eliminates the male intruder, it does not resolve the more fundamental problem of sexual limitation. The oral-narcissistic conflict, it will be recalled, arises from a failure to cope with the loss of the infantile illusion of oneness with the World, of completeness and self-sufficiency. Almost everyone has a phobia or two. Many people fear heights, snakes, public speaking, spiders, and so forth. Usually this causes little difficulty because the person carefully avoids feared situations. However, consider the following: an entertainer with stage fright, a student with test anxiety, a reporter who fears people, and aspiring producers who fears heights, or a newlywed with a fear of sexual intimacy. Each may be hampered enough by fears or anxieties to seek aid. Now about the collection for God’s people: Do what I told the financial advisors to do. On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made. Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve and send them with your gift to Sacramento. If it seems advisable for me to go also, they will accompany me. If anyone does not love the Lord—a curse be on them. Come, O Lord! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. My love to all of you in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Nature and the Unity and Diversity of Life

It is no secret that fall is the time to head to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee, where you will find a mosaic tile of natural deciduous trees like the red maple, sugar maple, white oak, and tulip polar trees, and you will see an autumn cascade in the Little River Canyon. Nature, as we ordinarily use the term, means the order of physical existence which forms our environment, the objective or external aspect of our own lives, the World of animals and plants and minerals, surrounded with the sea and sky. Nature means this, and is supposed to be majestic and beautiful. The most important imaginative impact that physical nature has on us is a sense of alienation. Nature feels intelligent, moral, and peaceful. It is natural for humans to also be moral, civilized, and socially disciplined; it is unnatural to live like animals. Humans are supposed to possess innocence, chastity—the nature of God. The Great Smoky Mountains—they are the very definition of a forest, and one of America’s most visited parks. Mammoth Cave, which is located in the Great Smoky Mountains is the longest cave in the World, with more than 360 miles of mapped passages. Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve, which protects a simple, yet beautiful landscape that once covered the Midwest.

The nature God had originally planned for man was that of the Golden Age or the Garden of Eden: this was lost at the Fall of man, but in some measure is recreated by the disciplines of civilization, morality, religion, and the arts. Man is subject to death, and on the physical level of nature there can be no more natural event than death. Yet death was not part of the order originally planned for man, and in that context, death is unnatural, sin even more so. The circling of the immortal heavenly bodies in the sky is the most eloquent symbol of the order and harmony of the nature that was originally intended for humans. The traditional, music of the celestial spheres symbolized a harmony that is recreated by human music. Music in God has its traditional Platonic meaning of the musical arts, which include poetry (as distinct from the technical arts of painting and architecture), and it also has regularly attacked to it the pun on the word harmony which makes it a symbol of the original order of nature established for man before the Fall. God consistently uses music to represent the order and balance that ought to exist in both individual and social forms of human life. Music is indispensable in restoring sanity to the insane, health to the sick; even life itself to those like Thaisa, have temporarily lost it.

Harmony disciplines the soul, and the human mind, symbolizing the hidden sympathy between man and nature evoked by music and poetry. The art is man’s nature, the World of art and music and nature are identical on the human level, natural life goes hand in hand with proficiency in music and poetry. The settings of my photographs are usually designed to suggest the Garden of Eden or the Golden Age. In ordinary life the fact that humans essentially belong to a World with a human shape is symbolized by the garden, the cultivated form of nature. When cultivated, the garden belongs to the human level of nature; when left uncultivated, it relapses to the ordinary physical level. The garden is used as an image of human society, to appease God. Evergreen trees symbolize immortality. In Contrast, Deciduous broadleaf trees are dominant at moist, temperate latitudes, where winters are not severe.  As we move out of tropical rainforest, we enter regions where temperatures remain mild, but rainfall dwindles during part of the year. Here we find tropical deciduous forests, in which many trees drop some or all of their leaves during the pronounced dry season. The monsoon forests of India and southeastern Asia also has such trees. Farther north, in the temperate zone, rainfall is even lower, and temperatures become cold during the Winter.

Here are regions of temperate deciduous forest. Conditions do not favor decomposition as much as they do in the humid tropics, but nutrients are conserved in the accumulated litter on the forest floor, which helps to keep moisture in the soil and fertilize it, but in the cities and suburbs, if the leaves collect in the street, or of the roof of your house, they can cause flooding and water damage to houses and roof. Nonetheless, all trees are beautiful. At one time, deciduous broadleaf forest stretched across northeastern North America in Sacramento, California, Europe, and eastern Asia. Ash, beech, birch, chestnut, elm, and deciduous oak trees dominated the forests, which largely disappeared as land was cleared for farming. Some species introduced to North America brought diseases that wiped out nearly all chestnuts and many American elms. Without rain, Earth would turn into Mars, and the planet would burn up, terminating all life. Today, maple and beech forests predominate in the Northeast. They give way to oak-hickory forests father west, which grade into oak woodlands and tall grass prairies of the Midwest.

The God addressed the gardener as Adam’s likeness, and talks of Even and the serpent, but this garden is not Eden: it is the ground that Adam had to till after the Fall of Man, and the Queen’s attempt to curse it is useless because the general curse of nature is already there. This nature is the physical World. This is the upper or human level of nature. Humans are nice and kind and smart and gentle and caring and social, but monogamous. The natural state of man, then, is a civilized and ordered state because man is made in the image of God, and God is perfect, therefore, so is man. Geometry is one of my favorite courses.  The King is the less, he is a symbol and the more he is an incarnation of nature. Nature above art in that respect, like poets, are born not made. Murder in the order of nature, which lets in a destructive force, represented by the tempest-raising witches, and by the prodigies and portents of the murder itself, will lead to your own inevitable destruction. However, no king can actually restore mankind to the Golden Age; all around human society is still the lower physical order of nature. People on the lower levels of human nature are persistent danger of severely hurting self or others; or president inability to maintain minimal personal hygiene; or serious suicidal acts. They are repeatedly violent, maintains almost no personal hygiene and have made potentially lethal suicide attempts. Are manically excited, smears own feces, and is either incoherent or mute. Speech is illogical, obscure, or irrelevant.

This order moves in circles, imitating the stars in their courses, but it cyclical movement is an amoral force, and it operates by necessity rather than by intelligence and freedom. It produces not only the cycles of prosperity and decline that is called the four seasons on the wheel of fortune, Earth. Virginia’s Shenandoah National Park is just over an hour from Washington, D.C., but a World away. The park contains more than 500 miles of hiking trails, including 101 miles of the Appalachian Trail, but its most famous feature is Skyline Drive, a scenic byway that funs 105 miles north and south along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you are planning a trip in the fall, aim for the middle of the week, as the route is usually packed with cars most fall weekends. In life, some have mostly bad experiences because they are at lower levels of functioning. At the higher wheel of fortune, the highest parts of your life are represented by superior function, in a wide range of activities. No symptoms. Life’s problems never seem to get out of hand. Person is sought out by others because of his or her many good skills and qualities. People at the lower end of the natural cycle will experience a lot of chaos of the storm. Happy people move upward with the ascending cycle, people who are kind and honest and hardworking.

In a way, history cannot do, a reintegration with the higher level of nature. The only paradises are the paradises we take care of. The natural head of state; because of the conception of nature involved, he does what is required of him. If he does not, society’s natural order throws up another natural force. A natural force that under certain conditions inevitably makes its appearance. Because of his de facto authority, and society’s need of order, becomes de jure as well, a fact borne witness to by Sacramento’s dramatic transfer of loyalties to him. Still this transfer of power to William Randolph Hearst does not illustrate a breaking of the connection between human society and the cosmic order, and consequently the deposing of William becomes impotent, all the architectures, art, magic of music and poetry becomes attacked to him, because of the fact that he shares the same name as a great head of state. Now he begins to bear the obloquy of responsibility, but neither his effort to dissociate himself from the Winchester nor his dream of going into retirement can give his crown the glamour that, in history, only a lost cause can have. William Randolph Hearst, with his tremendous energy and egoism, is very well adjusted to nature as an amoral force, the aspect of nature that has been intensified by William Wirt Winchester’s accession.

83rd Annual Capitol Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Love is a passion which kindles honor into noble acts. People need to rise early, to see the sun in all his splendor. The morning of day and the morning of life are but too much alike. The most useful of all arts, the art of life. I hold with God that afflictions are not sent by God in wrath as penalties for sin. Our manners and customs go for more in life than our qualities. Friendship, like love, is the child of sympathy, not of complaint. Happiness must be something solid and permanent, without fear and without certainty, and honesty is a great advantage.  This season marks the 83rd Annual State Capitol Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, which will take place on Tuesday, 2 December 2014, at 4:30 p.m., on the West Steps of the State Capitol. The event is open to the public.  The beautiful Christmas tree will be dressed by nearly 10,000 ultra-low wattage LED lights, and beautiful ornaments.

The tree is a beautiful Douglas White Fir, is 53 feet tall, and from Latour Demonstration State Forest located near Redding, California. The Latour State Demonstration Forest is a 9,000-acre forest owned and managed by Cal Fire and is a great destination for hiking, mountain biking, hunting and camping in Shasta County. The forest consists primarily of coniferous trees and is actively managed by Cal Fire with timber harvests and other vegetation management techniques.  As a result, the woods are inviting and home to variety of wildlife species. You can see one of these majestic giants on display on Sacramento, California. The State Capitol of California, where the Christmas tree ceremony is taking place is in downtown Sacramento, California on 10th Street between L and N Streets, on Tuesday, 2 December 2014, at 4:30 p.m., on the West Steps of the State Capitol near. Modesty is very well on its way; but really a little common honesty is sometimes quite as becoming.  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3.16

Being Human throughout History

Do not be sad because it is over, rejoice that you had a chance.  The human being is a blind being, who dreams that one can see. We think the ultimate goal of the humanology is to improve the condition of all individuals. A fully human person appreciates his or her own uniqueness and individuality. Many parents teach their children to try and emulate some imaginary perfect human being. Therefore, each person is unique, and a healthy person appreciates their own special qualities. Some people are more gifted at living than others, they do have an effect on those around them, but the process stops there, because there is no way of describing in technical terms just what it is they do. Therefore, not all people are created equal.  A fully human person is aware of the common bond he or she has with all other people. Humans know they are like other people, in having physical and emotional needs, which must be expressed and satisfied. Humans look for the common thread in all human experiences. The average person recognizes that there are differences, such as nationality or religion, and they are artificially imposed and less important than the similarities among humankind. You are all more alike, than not, but some have healthier minds and attitudes about life and the human condition.  A fully human person knows that he or she is fully responsible for their own existence. Most people evaluate the teachings of society, making an honest decision to reject what is considered undesirable or dehumanizing. People tend to dislike conflict and crime, but they love peace and happiness.  A rational person then bases their personal philosophy and life on their decision and will take full responsibility for their actions.

A complete human does not demand perfection, but tries to fulfill your own potential. Rational people understand that they will make mistakes and accept the responsibility for their actions, try to correct them and move on. Do not say sorry, because you are not, simply correct your actions and try not to repeat those mistakes. Success or failure does not prove that you are superior or inferior, to other people, it simply means you got lucky or have more work to do. As Rebecca Jarvis says, “Never, never, never give up.” And never get too comfortable, you can always be replaced. A true human values people above material goods. A rational person rejects any value system that places the accumulation of wealth above the well-being of other individuals. Rational humans feel strongly that human rights are far more important than material rights. These people recognize are fully human and they recognize that they have a capacity for enjoyment and pleasure. Real people see that life is fun, and they enjoy living. They are thankful to go to school, work and interact with others. They are not afraid of pleasure and these people seek to share the happiness with others. Rational people realize that life must be a balance between seriousness and fun. Good humans can be innocent and pure like children, and open to spontaneous enjoyment of life. A fully human person tries to be real and open in their relationships with others.  Good people are willing to risk another person’s reaction to open their expression of feelings. Rational people use openness and authenticity, not to manipulate or control, but to share knowledge of yourself with others. “See I am tired of all the games, which you seem to like to play, see what you need to do is forget you knew my name. I am a play you to left because your words are hurting me. See I am never even said that I am here all by myself,” says Aaliyah.

A physically healthy and mature person, who does not engage in sexual activity is called celibate. Celibacy is actually a form of sexual expression because an individual makes a conscious decision not to engage in sexual behavior, this decision in itself is an expression of one’s sexuality. There are two different forms of sexuality. There is complete celibacy in which a person does not masturbate, nor do they have interpersonal sexual contact.  Partial celibacy is a little different. With partial celibacy, a person does not engage in interpersonal sexual activity, but they do masturbate. There are many different reasons why people are celibate, some people are celibate because of their religion. Some people are celibate because they are saving their virginity for marriage, so it is a moral obligation. And, others are celibate, until they meet someone who is up to their standards. Then there are others who are celibate because they have been sexually abused, or they do not want to confusing love with sex. Also, celibacy is the best form of birth control and it is also very safe, you will not contract anything because you are not sexually active. Some people suffer from Mysophobia. People who suffer from mysophobia are individuals who are obsessed with cleanliness and defeating bacteria. The human body is a major source of bacteria and sex, with multiple partners, can be very dirty. All of the fluids, and juices and openings used for sexual interaction are gross to some people. Hebrews 13.4 reports, let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

People are so cautious about where they eat, what they eat and the things they put in their mouth, but they turn around and perform oral sex on random people.  Also, I think you really need to know someone before you have sex with them. You would not go and lick a random person’s figures, so why put their penis, anus or vagina in your mouth? There is another group of people, who do not have sex, but they are not physically attracted to anything or anyone. These people are called Asexual. They may be heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual, but just have not bloomed. Only one present of the people in the World are Asexual. It is possible that, at some point in their lives, Asexual people may develop their sexuality and find someone they are sexually attracted to. One famous person, who is partially celibate, it Taylor Momsen, former star of Gossip Girl, and lead singer of the Pretty Reckless; Taylor Momsen is healthy, but she prefers to masturbate. Taylor Momsen reports,” I think women should equally be allowed to pleasure themselves as much as men. There’s something wrong with the world. I just think men and women should be treated equally. I’m not a whore for masturbating.” Therefore, one must protect themselves and do what is best for them. If you do not want to have sex, do not.  Do not let anyone pressure you into having sex because they may break up with you after they get what they want, so make sure you are ready and as always consult your doctor. “Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens,” says Jimi Hendrix.

I suspect Ancient Egypt is older than 5000 Before Christ because there was life in California 14,000 years ago, and it cannot possibly predate Egypt. Akasha (Maat) was originally from Uruk, or modern day Iraq. She was born 7000 years ago, long before the first pharaoh, Menes, built the first pyramid. At a young age Akasha married Enkil, King of Kemet, which would later become Egypt. Akasha and her husband Enkil wanted their subjects to turn away from cannibalism and encouraged them to eat grains by farming. Ancient Egyptians always believed in natural law that embraced social justice and morality. This rule over the land was supplemented by decrees and laws of the kings, which were kept in writing and archived. The following statement by Horehheb is older than the Christian Bible: (1323-1295 BC) has been recorded, I gave rulers to their face (the officials) and added laws to their collection. Therefore, laws are in the New Kingdom were cited as ‘Pharaoh’s Law’ or began with the introduction ‘Pharaoh reports’. In any case, the legal idea of Maat– goddess of justice, the daughter of the Sun God Ra, Maat personified order, truth, and justice among both gods and humans. As the embodiment of the harmony of the universe, she was considered to possess knowledge of the original gods on Earth. Maat’s symbol, her hieroglyphic sign was the symbol depicted on the scales at the judgment of the dead, and it was weighed against the deeds of the deceased, symbolized as the all Seeing Eye. The weighing of the heart decided the fate of the dead in the afterlife. Maat was also the protective goddess of the judges. Even the laws and actions of the king were answerable to Maat and had to be in harmony with her, as this was vital for the country’s order and economic growth. Maat and the officials appointed by the pharaoh were legally bound to Maat, who represented the ethical basis of the structure of the state. The high-ranking vizier, as well as the low-ranking scribe, was considered to be a keeper of Maat.

The vizier was the most important officials of the state and the second-highest judge, after the Pharaoh. His job was to supervise the observance of the laws of the country. The vizier was also responsible for making offerings to the gods, by keeping the gods happy, the land was happy.  At the judgment of the dead, Horus also known as a creator god, the falcon who flew up at the beginning of time—weighs the heart as the seat of the soul and good and bad deeds, against the feather of Maat. If the deceased spoke the truth in front of Osiris– Osiris was the Egyptian god of the underworld, although he was also worshipped as a fertility, resurrection, and vegetation god. He was married to Isis, a sky goddess. He was father to Horus, the god of sky, and protector of the dead; then the scale dipped in his favor to the side of Maat. Crimes not punished in this World could be the subject of the judicial hearing in the next. People only think they are getting away with murder and that they are god’s people, but there is more to the story. The dispensation of justice was mainly the job of the vizier, but there were special cases that fell outside his sphere or responsibility, such as crime and theft of the royal necropolis (“I know nothing about this case, it is a matter of life and death”). When such a serious crime had been committed, the pharaoh ordered the vizier and high officials to examine the case. After the investigations were finished, the king received a written report. He discussed it with his advisers and passed a judgment suited to the seriousness of the crime. In addition to royal jurisdiction, royal official made sure their law was upheld on a on a local level. Royal officials performed their duties alone or with fellow judges, in a council of elders. Witnesses had to give evidence and after the jury had met, judgment was passed and the protocols of the proceedings were handed over to the vizier’s office, depending on the severity of the case. Some rulings will be handed down, in the next lifetime, you did not get away. “Above all else, guard your heart for it affects everything else you do,” says William Randolph Hearst

Let me now, therefor, turn directly to the question of the European individual and, for a start, cite the observations of the German psychologist, at Harris International, throughout whose work the term ‘individual’ to designate the psychological process of achieving individual wholeness, everyone is required by society to play some specific role. As the traditional structure of the Ancient Egyptian state dissolved at the end of the Old Kingdom (2686-2181 BC), Egypt entered a period of political and economic uncertainty, with no central figure to lead the city; at the close of the 6th Dynasty, Egypt suffered social and political decline. Egypt was the World’s most powerful empire. Insurrections wreaked and divided the central government in Memphis. For more than a century, the country was torn apart by continuing social unrest– bad behavior is contagious. Contagious behavior means that bad behavior can and will excite similar emotions or conduct in others, political anarchy and invasions by Bedouin peoples, very little is known about this period, except that it saw the growth of political power. The monarchs, whose positions had been hereditary since the 5th Dynasty (2494-2345 BC), reigned supreme in their constituencies. Decline of the monarchy—the old Kingdom reached the height of its glory under the great pyramid-building pharaohs of the 4th Dynasty—Khufu, Khafra and Menkaura.

By the 6th Dynasty, the Egyptian state was in terminal decline, as the power of the pharaoh weakened.  The nomarchs, since the late 5th Dynasty, the provincial governors—had gained more power and began to demonstrate their independence by building their homes in provinces and styles of their desire. The officials, up to the middle of the 5th Dynasty, all high ranking officials were appointed by all the king and were under his direct control. The rewards were high. Ptahshpses (circa 2445-2421 BC), was given this magnificent mastaba home at Abusir. The trouble began with Pepy II (2278-2184 BC), his old age and long reign caused him to lose control of the country. Many temples were freed from taxations and the chief administrators of the provinces no longer had to pay tributes. The country became bankrupt because the government could not collect taxes are manufactured to produce revenue to run the Kingdom. The pharaohs, residing at Memphis, now ruled all of Egypt in the name only. Their actual influence was limited to a rather small area, as the Delta, too, was independent. All of this led to a rapid turnover of rulers—in the mere 50 years of the 7th and 8th Dynasties there were more than 25 kings. The provincial governors of Herakleopolis took overpower in the north and founded the 9th and 10th Dynasties in 2160 BC, claiming sovereignty over all of Egypt. However, a second power base developed in Thebes, and the local nobles founded the 11th Dynasty in 2125 BC. Both princely houses assumed the title of king of all Egypt—and with this, a fight for supremacy began that would last for decades.

While the Herakleopolitans tried to expel the immigrants from the Near East, the Thebans started to expand their territory from the Delta, under Intef I (2125-2112 BC) and Intef II (2112-2063 BC). The border of the northern part of their country was Thinis; any further expansion was opposed by the provincial governors of Asyut, who at that time, still supported Herakleopolis. Eventually, Mentuhotep II (2055-2004 BC) began to conquer Lower Egypt, reunify the country and found the Middle Kingdom.  Provincial governors established their own armies comprising numerous Nubian mercenaries, a large colony of whom seems to have existed at Gebelein, about 30km (18 milmes) south of Thebes. The Nubians are depicted as having curly hair. And the demise of the emipre was the result of an implosion, the empire was ripped apart inside out, the exterior conflict was a distraction method. And Jehovah is a figure like satan, what he does not know, is he cannot predict, what he don’t know. You do not know the spirit of the Lord. “I sought to hear the voice of God and climbed the topmost steeple, but God declared: “Go down again – I dwell among the people.”  And keep in mind, “Hearts are dust, hearts love remains, to love in hearts, what we leave behind will not die. The dead shall rise.”

Balancing Family and Work Version

Now that we are in the twenty-first century, about 63 percent of women with children have a stable career. Additionally, there are more homes with two parents working, about 50 percent of households have two working parents and only 3.4 of households have stay me dads. Working fathers work and average of 51 hours a week; which is about 11 hours more than a full-time job. Working mothers work an average 42 hours a week, and are paid about 25 percent less than men, who work the same hours and have the same career. Co-provider families are considered experimental, and they have problems that a single provider family does not have. There are more women in the work force, yet, they domestic responsibilities have not changed much at all. Working women are stilled expected to do the shopping, cook, take care of the kids, and preform house work. While working men mostly just work and hire people to do manly duties around the house like building the fence, remodeling the kitchen and gardening. Sometimes if they have a male son, then he will simply do the yard work, and the mother takes care of all other responsibilities. Many are saying that it is unjust that women continue to carry a disproportionate share of family responsibilities, and are paid less, for the same job. It is almost like working mothers only get time off when they are sleeping.

There have been improvements in men’s participation in childcare and other domestic responsibilities. In 2001, only 1.2 percent of fathers were stay at home dads, today that number is almost 4 percent. Even daytime television is starting to target stay at home dads by airing manly TV shows, in the morning and afternoon, and targeting men with cleaning products and hygiene products. Day time TV used to mostly target women and that is why there were so many soap operas on TV about ten years ago. In 1980, less than 15 percent of children were cared for by their fathers, today that number is up to 18 percent. Some of these days may be taking time off of work, just to support their working wife, and spend time with their children. However, when both parents are home, women are usually expected to deal with the children.  It is estimated that women spend about 33 hours a week doing housework, and men spend about 20 hours, but I bet working men spend far less than 20 hours a week on housework. Working men usually do not do housework, unless they know their wife is overloaded and the house is a disaster.  And, even though so women earn more than men, men still expect the women to do the housework. I think whoever makes the most should be the one to delegate housework. In addition, men think that working women are a threat because they are competing with their husband and not taking care of their children, like the men expect them to. Psalm 112:7 reports, righteous people are not afraid of unscrupulous news. Their minds are stable. They trust the Lord.

When both parents are working, it does create conflict. Childcare is very expensive, about $500 a month per child. Also, more parents would like to see subsides day care for working parents with high incomes, and maybe a babysitter in the corporate office, so it is easier to deal with children. You can take them to work with you, and drop them off in the day care center located in your office. Sweden is actually believed to be the most family friendly and progressive environment in the industrial World. To keep balance in your home and peace in the family, just be flexible. Try to understand where your spouse is coming from. The keys to success start with self-confidence, which is the belief that one can effectively carry out an activity or reach an objective. Changes are not going to happen overnight, but let your family and corporation know you wishes, but be very polite and just say, “These are some options I would like to consider in the future.” Until then, just keep in mind that you are whole, perfect, complete, fair, rich, simple, alive, beautiful, good, unique, happy, honest, self-sufficient, and very intelligent. Psalms 41.1-2 reports, blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the Lord delivers in times of trouble. The Lord will protect and preserve your life. When you are professional and there is good coming from inside of you, people are likely to listen because you are intrinsically motivating them and setting a good example.

Matthew 12.35 reports, good people bring out good things from the good stored in them.  Remember, tied to quality work is responsibility, a good attitude, and good salaries, promotions, and bonuses. By following these guidelines, you can avoid taking spontaneous risk. I have done so many things in my life. Evil things, perhaps. But never inattentively, never wastefully…was I wrong? It is okay to admire other people and be respectful and smile. You can appreciate the beauty of another without being angry, bitter, or jealous. James 5.16 says to pray for each other and wish people well. You get what you put out in the World. Perhaps you are unhappy because you make a lot of other people unhappy. Your bad vibes, thoughts, actions and words are the reason you feel like you are less of a person. To be happy, you have to love yourself and find something that makes you feel connected to reality. On a personal level, psychologists have succeeded in teaching some people to control their anger and aggressive impulses. Anger control is a personal strategy for reducing or curbing anger. The key to self-control and keeping calm is to figure out what is upsetting you. Do you have a mental issue or is there a legitimate reason for you to be so angry and project that anger on to others? A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly (Prov 14:25).

To figure out what is truly going on, to limit anger, people are advised to: define the problem as precisely as possible. Are you mad because he took your parking space, or are you mad because you work up too late and did not make it to work in time to get your favorite parking space? Secondly, make a list of all of the possible solutions to deal with your anger issues. For example, are mad at Buffy because she is annoyingly happy and pretty, or do you just wish you had the same qualities as Buffy, and instead of trying to be a better person, you just hate her? Next, think about some solutions to your problems. If you want to be more like Buffy, maybe you can get to know her and find out what she is doing to be so happy. Then, choose a solution to your problem. If you want that parking space, go to bed earlier and wake up on time. If you want to be as smart as Kurtis, then spend more time studying. In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. (James 2:17). And lastly, consider how successful the solution to your problem is and make adjustments if necessary. Taking these steps has helped many people to lessen tendencies toward child abuse, family violence, and other destructive outburst.  There are also programs out there to help you deal with your anger issues talk to your doctor and I am sure they can help you. It is clear that there are a lot of mentally unhealthy people in society, they do not smile, and they are constantly spreading their unhappiness.

Isaiah 35:8 reports, a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it. However, there are still a lot of good people in society, who believe in being prosocial. Prosocial behavior is actions that are constructive, altruistic, or helpful for others. You have to notice others and care about their well-being. What would happen if you got beat up and were left lying in a pool of your own blood and people walk by and laughed at you? Would you want someone to stop? Or would you like them to ignore you and let you die? “In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 7:12). Another good idea is to take responsibility, do not be a victim; you are the architect of your own fate and happiness. Being angry with others will get you nowhere, try to be a good person, try to help others, and try to care. You have to do this with a true heart and no malice. It is okay to talk to other people and say nice things to them. Everyone wants to feel included, and clearly you do too, or else you would not be so angry and mean. “For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Galatians 5:14).

2 Peter 3:9 What Does Your Heaven Look Like?

Arm yourself, my dear child, for the worst; and resolve to lose your life sooner than your virtue. There is a common misconception that Earth is the Devil’s World, but we need to clear that up.  Genesis 1:1 reports, Earth was created by God, it is a place of beauty and harmony.  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Therefore, how this could be the Devil’s World? The Devil did not create it. I do not even think the Devil really exists. Maybe the Devil is really just dark energy that humans have manifested? Maybe this concept of the Devil is floating around as a test, to see who can see the truth? Perhaps God wanted to see if humans could take accountability for their own actions, and that is why the is this myth about the Devil. 2 Tim 1.7 reports, for the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power love and self-discipline. Those who choose to believe the Devil and worship the Devil’s words will burn in hell right alongside him. John 8.44 reports, you belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

You see, the Devil is the father of lies, these lies come from inside of bad people, therefore, lies and darkness is their father. Because humans choose to worship lies, lies have become the ruler of this World. -2 Corinthians 4:4 reports, the god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. Earth is an experiment, and many of you are failing, as you defend your father and his native langue of lies, but ignore the truth and light of God. Sure, in your minds, this is the Devil’s World because that is your social construction of reality. However, for those who believe in God, we know that this is God’s World and he will redeem those who are doing things that are pleasing to him. You can run to that church everyday, but it does not mean you will be saved, actions speak louder than words and many of you are foul. John 15.19 reports, I have chosen you out of the World. Because of this, the World hates you. This World is so full of corruption and lies that they hate the light, they hate those who use honest means to succeed. Just remember, as Matthew 13.11 reports, you have been given knowledge of the secrets of heaven’s kingdom. So keep your faith and know that God will deliver us, and we will have peace, love, abundance, and happiness, only!  Just know that there are demons walking the Earth, not all are bad, but many are taking the shape of humans. Your friends could be possessed by demons, have you noticed how evil they have become?

James 2.19 reports, you say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. Now, in European mythology, there is a myth about demons, and not all of them are bad, some of them are here to help God and humanity. Basically a demon is a beast, who got lost or did a lot of wrong and was sent to another plane to pay for their sins, maybe purgatory? But they suffer so much that they start to look like monsters, and when they come back to this plane, they do influence weak humans. In European myth, there are Queller demons. Queller demons were an extraterrestrial demon species that, oddly enough, dwelled within certain meteors. They were summoned to eliminate the insane, particularly in Middle Ages Europe. As you can see, the World is going mad. In America, 100 colleges are under federal investigation for mishandling sexual assaults. Furthermore, there is a violent crime every 22 seconds, property crime every 3 seconds, a murder about every 33 minutes, forcible rape about every 5.8 minutes, robber every 1.2 minutes, aggravated assault every 35 seconds, burglary every 14.9 seconds, larceny-Theft every 4.5 seconds, motor vehicles theft every 26 seconds. We need the National Security Agency to stop this crime and to save lives. This is not how God intended us to live. God has promised to restore paradise. Revelations 21.3-4 reports, the faithful and righteous will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

The only reason God is allowing this to play out because he wants everyone to see these humans are the problem, it is not the Devil, it is not God. It is people, they are the makers of their own hell. 2 Peter 3.9 reports, the Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. So just know that all of this suffering will pass, and we will be saved. There is going to come a time when God’s will is going to be fully carried out and those evil will seek death, but they will not find it. Revelation 6:16-17 reports, the wicked called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the innocent! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?” The good of heart will be saved. I like solitude. It is when you truly hear and speak your natural, unadulterated mind, and out comes your most stupid self as well as your most intelligent self. It is when you realize who you are and the extents of the good and the evils which you are capable of.

A Missing Appreciation of the Good

Never encourage beggars. America has been a country since 1619, which is 394 years.  The American Revolution (1775-1783) ascended from growing tensions between residents of Great Britain’s 13 North American colonies and the colonial government, which represented the British crown, but was stationed in America. Citizen felt like they were being taxed and not represented by the government, so they revolted.  During the American Revolution, American citizens were passionate about politics because the stakes, the survival of the New Nation, were so high. American government and politics are facing growing national skepticism about job performance at majority of the levels of the government, in modern times.  People cannot fully understand the issues, and policy decisions facing the U.S. government, its constituent states or the citizens unless these issues are examined, in depth, and you also need to be able to understand how policies have evolved over time.  You need to understand the role of political parties, in the United States, to understand why the U.S. Constitution and the Framers’ fears of factionalism (pack mentality), and how to realign the system when these parties are identified. Americans and people Worldwide need to understand how the American government works today, it is also important to understand your history, which is one of the most important classes in the World. History may be more important than religion and is something you should be taught from a young age. People need to be engaged in critical thinking, and parents need to learn to foster interest in important issues, you need to inspire your children’s participation, in the martial, they learn in class. Education is the modern form of religion.

All Americans need to understand the political processes institutions, and policies of American government. The American system is set up so that everyone can be independent, but it also encourages people to become couples, a feature designed to encourage visual literacy and attractiveness.  Much of the American system is modeled on Britain. The American government has been a part of your life, from day one, and you say you do not trust them, but you send your children to government institutions, from the time they are 4-22. These Children general spend 8 hours a day and 5 to 6 days a week, at school. The government provides you children with free education, books, food, water, juice, milk and safe places for recreation, which keeps you children off the streets, out of trouble, alive and out of jail. The schools also double as day care centers, by providing students with teacher who love them and care about their progress, walfare and development. Personal liberty is perhaps the single most important characteristic of American capitalism. The Constitution was written to assure life and liberty. Liberty has evolved to mean freedom. The Construction is constructed to limit government infringements on freedom of religion and speech, from unreasonable search and seizure. The Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution implements equal protection of the laws and subsequent passage of the laws guaranteeing human rights. Americans are also able to go to work and school free from discrimination. The U.S. government has used a variety of initiatives to train people how to act and have provided grounds for them to have a basic education so that they can participate in the political system, so they are not in shackles like the original Americans.

Just as the ethnic composition of the American population has changes, so has the average age of the population. Family size and household arrangements have also changed. Large families were normal, during the Victorian ages, children were the source of cheap labor, and most Americans were farmers and manufactures. Now children are in schools, instead of working on the farm. The government also helps your children make friends, at school, which reduces the need to have more than one or two children. That limits your responsibility and liability. Industrialization and knowledge of birth control methods is very important for women because there is no limit of how far they can go, they have the power to control their bodies. Conservatisms is the political ideology of Americans. America is a country that likes to defend the ethical aspects of our culture, institutions, and practices. The American system likes to see people go to school, college, and get a job so that they can become an involved parent and citizen. Those are the kind of success stories that the nation is built on. However, Americans have come to expect far too much from the national government and must simply readjust their expectations. Your basic needs are met, there is no sewage in the streets, you are reasonably safe from crimes, and the air and water are clean, and you have shelter, food and medical supplies.  Could these people be working to turn you against a system that loves you? The problem is not the America system, it is these people, who are unwilling to take responsibility, act civil and get to work. In the end, the overriding factor in whether or not you realize your dreams is going to be you. Not the world.
