Deforestation—Flora, Fauna, Fury and Fire

The ceaseless conflict among interpreters, whatever master truth may be thought to lie just ahead of their farthest energetic probing, simply renders cloudy the supposition that sense of truth is the central experience of those who join the assemblage with special expectations and are in some ways satisfied. With the King fire burning more than 72,000 acres and all the other fires burning in the United States of America, deforestation is a major concern, but not only because of fires, but also because of logging as well. The World’s great forests play major roles in the biosphere. Forest watersheds are like giant sponges that absorb, hold, and release water gradually. By influence the downstream of water flow, forests help control soil erosion, flooding, and sediment buildup in rivers, lakes and reservoirs and also keeps moisture in the soil. Deforestation, the removal of trees from large tracts of land, leads to loss of fragile surface layers of soil and disrupts watersheds. The disruption is especially pronounced in watersheds with steep slopes. In tropical regions, soil loss mean long-term fertility loss as nutrients are quickly washed out of the system, leaving nutrients missing from the soil, and the ground deficient of the food it needed to be of use for planting and feed vegetation. The tropical rainforest is one of the most beautiful wonders in the world. They cover billions of acres of land, mountain sides and waterways.

A rainforest is a collection of very tall and exotic trees, and some of the World’s most hungry and some of the largest insects, animals, tress and birds ever seen. The trees in a rainforest can grow as tall as 150 feet. These trees are generally found in regions that are warm year-round and also receive a lot of rain. Tropical rainforests may cover less than 6 percent of the Earth’s surface and produce 40 percent of the Earth’s oxygen. Typically, a rainforest receives 4 feet to 21 feet of rain each year. Since these naturally beautiful forests thrive in warm conditions, tropical rainforest are usually located around the equator. However, Berkeley, California and much of New York, New York used to also be a rainforest. Nonetheless, some of the largest rainforests are currently located in South America, Africa, Indonesia, Asia, Hawaii, and the Caribbean Islands. In fact, one of the largest rainforest in the world is located in South America and would cover two thirds of the Continental United States of America. They are home to the greatest variety of spectacularly plumages birds and to the plants with the largest flowers. Trees in the rainforest must grow tall and fast to reach the peak of the canopy, where the sun is. Since these some of the fast growing trees are not very wide, they produce prop roots, which drop down to the ground and dig into the earth to support the tree. Also, the tree may not have branches for the first 50 feet.
Large animals are not as profuse as they are in other parts of the World, but they are splendidly represented, in a variety of species. The large animals in the rain forest are usually tapirs, monkeys, and jaguars of South America to the apes, okapi, and leopards, and tigers of Africa. African cats are in danger, as sample to highlight the issue of deforestation and hunting, we have selected the tiger population. Give us minds possessing foresight; give us minds obeying what foresight tells. Tigers are beautiful, majestic and mysterious creature, which are in great danger of becoming extinct. In the 1900s, there were over 100,000 tigers in the wild. However, over the last 100 years, the World has lost more than 97 percent of the tiger population; there are less than 3,200 left in the wild. Tigers are some of the largest cats in the World, they are about three and a half feet tall, and are anywhere from five feet long to nine feet in length, and they weight about four hundred to seven-hundred pounds. The tail of a tiger is about three feet in length. At least four species of tigers are extent, including: Bali tiger, Javan tiger, Caspian tiger, and there are only a few South Chinese tiger left, but they are all in captivity.
The World still have nearly seven-hundred Malayan tigers, four hundred and fifty Sumatran tigers, four hundred Siberian tigers, about one thousand Indochinese tigers, and eighteen hundred Bengal tigers. Tigers eat about 88 pounds of meat, at one time. Tigers like to feed on antelope, baby elephants, berries, buffalo, carbs, deer, fish, frogs, lizards, snakes, and wild boar (pigs). Be careful around tigers, they like meat and will devour you. Tigers like to kill by sinking their teeth into the neck of their prey (food). Tigers mainly live in Africa, Asia, and they used to even live in Russia. Tigers are sensitive to heat and like to swim a lot. Tigers, in the wild, live about ten to fifteen years, but in captivity, they can live as long as twenty to twenty-six years. Tigers like to live in the tropical forest, mountains, swamps, and they usually keep to themselves, until mating season. Tigers will usually mate from November to April. Their gestation (pregnancy) period is about one hundred and three days, and they will usually give birth to 3 or 4 baby tigers, also known as cubs. When the tiger is about three years old, they leave their mothers and start their own lives, in the wild. Tigers are in danger because they are hunted for their meat, deforestation, and logging of trees. It is illegal to eat tiger meat, but many people like to consumer it like it is a steak and even make tacos out of tiger meat. There is a restaurant, in Florida, called “Taco Fusion,” which serves tiger meat tacos, and they are about thirty-five dollars each. Tigers also hunted for their beautiful orange and black stripped coats; sometimes they are white and black strips, and their eyes, teeth and paws. Orange and black tigers usually have yellow eyes, and white and black tigers have blue eye. Unlike other cats, tigers have pupils. There are also hybrid tigers called ligers, which occur when male lions mate with female tigers.
Ligers usually have the main of a lion, but strips like a tiger, but there are some variations. The first liger was produces in the year 1798, in the country India, by scientist Étienne Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire. Ligers are about ten feet long, about five feet tall, and seven-hundred pounds. So please do not hunt or harass tigers, there are not many of them left, and we want to preserve them for future generations. It is very hard for a fool not to be a fool. Fools must live in the World, but you do not have to become like them. I have seen wicked men and fools, a great many of both; and I believe they both get paid in the end; but the fools first. Forgiveness is never denied to sincere repentance. Meanwhile in the rain forest, specimens of trees from the rain forest may have made their way into your home or your dentist’s waiting room in the form of girl scout cookie boxes, furniture, or ficus benjamina, rubber plants, and tree ferns, to name a few. Also, it is important to keep in mind that the Girl Scouts and Barbie use materials from the Rain Forest for packaging and labeling, which is sad because rare trees and animals are being destroyed. Too bad they cannot just use recycle Christmas trees. In the forest themselves, vines twist around tree trunks and grow up toward the sunlight. Below the tall canopy trees, in the rainforest, there are also smaller trees, and shrubs. The foliage below the canopy usually does not grow very tall because they are not exposed to as much sun. The rapid growth in the rainforest can be attributed to all the fallen leaves, which quickly decompose, releasing important nutrients for plants to grow.

The rainforests have more types of trees than any other area in the world. There are between 100 to 300 different species of trees located in the rainforest, and 70 percent of the rainforest is composed of trees. The rainforest usually gets up to 93° Fahrenheit and usually do not drop below 68° Fahrenheit. The rainforest is very important because it produces oxygen, regulates the temperature and is a home for many rare animals and insects. The rainforest also produces medicine that helps to treat cancer, muscle pains and other ailments. Furthermore, the U.S. Cancer Institute has identified 3,000 plants that are active against fighting cancer cells and 70 percent of these plants are found in the rainforest, and 25 percent of pharmaceutical medications come from trees and plants in the rainforest, and this is amazing considering only 1 percent of the organisms in the rainforest have been tested to see how they can benefit human recovery. Orchids, mosses, lichens, and other planets and flowers grow on tree branches, absorbing minerals brought to them in rain water. Entire communities of inspects, spiders, and amphibians live breed, and die in small pools of water that collect in the leaves of aerial plants. Developing countries, in Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia have been clearing their tropical rain forests on massive scale. Those countries have great and growing numbers of people and not enough food, fuel, or lumber. If people not allowed to cut trees down, in the forest, for lumber, often times, as retribution, these individuals would start forest fires. (One of every four human lives in those countries, in 1990, were responsible for about 33 percent of the World’s human population growth.)

At present rates of clearing, most tropical forest will disappear by 2050. Nevertheless, many people only value the rain forest for lumber and are cutting down the trees to build homes, offices, ships and furniture. It is estimated that in 40 years, there will be no more rainforests left in the world, and this is alarming because of the health benefits that come from the rainforest and also because they produce more than 40 percent of the oxygen in the world. Without rainforest, we would lose a lot of medication that helps to save lives, we could experience more drought, warmer weather, and more floods. Also, there are more than 3,000 fruits found in the rainforest, many of which most people have never tasted. Experts say, if left intact, that the rainforest is by far more valuable because they harvest of the fruits, nuts and oil producing plants are very valuable. Anthropologists also say that Berkeley, California, USA used to be a rainforest, now it is home to housing projects, colleges, and other businesses. Similarly, Manhattan, New York was once filled with forest, swamps and hills. As the population was increasing, the Commissioners’ Plan of 1811 divided New York, all most all of the trees were removed, and officials filled in the swaps to make room for homes and office buildings. Lower Manhattan was created by dumping trash into the river and cementing it so they could expand the land mass. As a result, the river in Manhattan became narrower, and today it is eroding the land. In the near future, the tunnels in Manhattan will flood due to the way it was constructed. So please preserve our rainforest, it may save the world and the people in it.

For purely ethical reasons, many condemn the total destruction of a major chunk of the biosphere. For practical reasons, consider how the destruction might affect your own life. The World’s food supply depends on a very small number of crop and livestock species. That base of food production can be broadened and made less vulnerable if we can develop new or hybrid crop plants. By using genetic engineering and tissue culturing methods, we can tap the diverse organisms of tropical rain forests as genetic resources. They also can be tapped for developing new antibiotics and vaccines. Many tropical planets already give us the alkaloids for drug treatments of cardiovascular disorders, cancer, and other illnesses. Aspirin, the most widely used drug in the World, was formulated by using a chemical blueprint of a compound extracted from the leaves of the tropical willow trees. Coffee, bananas, cocoa, cinnamon, and other spices, sweeteners, Brazil nuts, and many others foods we love originated in the tropical rainforest. Massive destruction of tropical rain forests is changing the mixture of gasses in the atmosphere. Among other things, the burning releases carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, nitrogen dioxide, and nitric oxide—and atmospheric concentrations of these gases are increasing contribution to acid rain, smog, and dissipation of the ozone layer, and probably increases the World temperatures. If the World is to face another ice age, global warming may counter act that, allowing for climate change and not permafrost.

As an individual, you might choose to cherish, brood about, or ignore any aspect of the World of life. However, I want you to keep this in mind, whatever choice you make, the fact of the matter is that you and all other organisms, on Earth, are in the together. Your lives interconnect, to degrees that many are only now starting to comprehend. Some suspect that the internet is allowing ghost to take human form and that time travel is subtle taking place, and that astral planes are intercepting your timeline and distorting reality. There are all kinds of concepts going around, some even think the United States has an iron dome protecting us around the clock. Whatever the truth maybe, human population has undergone rapid and exponential growth since the mid-eighteenth century. Today, there are 7 billion people on Earth, we have the technology, and the cultural inclination to use energy and modify the environment at astonishing rates. The World of life ultimately depends on energy from the Sun, Moon, Ground, Air and Water, which drives complex reactions between the atmosphere, oceans, and land. The accumulation of human-generated pollutants in the atmosphere especially is disrupting those interactions. Those disruptions may have alarming consequences in the near future. Humans, as a species must come to terms with the principles of energy flow and resources utilization that govern all systems of life on Earth. I am not pushing an agenda; I am just giving you the facts. More than this, deforestation also can change regional patterns of rainfall as a result of altered rates of evaporation, transportation, and runoff.

Between 50 and 80 percent of the water vapor above tropical forest alone is released from the trees themselves. Without trees, annual precipitation declines, and the region gets hotter and drier. Rain that does fall rapidly runs off the bare soil. This has been a major concern after the rim fire– the Rim Fire was a wildfire, in the central Sierra Nevada region, and in Tuolumne and Mariposa counties, of California, in the United States of America. The Godzilla of a fire started on 17 August 2013, during the 2013 California wildfire season, and a major drought. Keith Matthew Emerald, accused of starting the massive Rim Fire, last year, in Stanislaus National Forest and Yosemite National Park, pleaded not guilty in U.S. District Court in Fresno. He is facing sentence of 11 years in prison and more than $500,000 in fines. The Rim Fire engulfed 257,000 acres, causing more than $130 Million in damages, and was the third largest wildfire in California history. Also, as the local climate gets hotter and drier, soil fertility and moister levels decline even more. Eventually, sparse grassland or even desert like conditions might prevail, where we once had rich tropical forest. The 2013, Black Forest Fire in Colorado cost $85 Million in damages, killed two people, destroyed over 430 houses, and burned more than 14,223 acres of land. Clearing large tracts of tropical forest also may have global repercussions. These forests absorb so much of the solar radiation reaching the equatorial regions of the Earth’s surface, when the forests are burned, logged, or otherwise cleared, the land becomes shinier, so to speak, and reflects more incoming energy back to space, which heats up the planet.

The trees of these vast forested regions help maintain the global cycling of carbon and oxygen through their photosynthetic activities. When they are harvested or burned, the carbon stored in their biomass is released to the atmosphere, in the form of carbon dioxide—and this may play a role in the amplified greenhouse effect. Almost half of the World’s expanses of tropical forests have already been cleared for cropland, grazing land, timber, housing, parking, landfills, and fuelwood. Deforestation is greatest in Brazil, Indonesia, America, Colombia, and Mexico. Another problem with ripping up forests is we are disturbing some dinosaurs like giant alligators, who have been alive since other dinosaurs walked the Earth. Alligators are as old as the dinosaurs, and now they are also on the verge of extinction. The alligator species is over 150 million years old, and they managed to outlive the dinosaurs, which died out 65 million years ago. Alligators live in fresh water like rivers, lakes, and swamps; they mostly live in the Southern United States, places like Louisiana and Florida. Sometimes alligators will sneak into swimming pools. In general, alligators live to be 35-50 years old and can grow as large as 20 feet and 1,000 pounds. On average, alligators are anywhere from 10-13 feet. Alligator babies’ hatch from eggs, they only take 40 days to be born; alligator babies are about 6-8inches long when they are born. The diet of the alligator is composed of fish, turtles, snakes, other small animals and sometimes pets or humans.

At one time, alligators were the most dominant animal on Earth, but now they are on the verge of extinction, as only 12 species of alligators remain. Alligators are killed and their skin is used to make shoes, purses, wallets, briefcases, and other leather items. Alligators are also hunted for their meat, and some are caught and sent to other countries. Alligator meat is actually very healthy, low in fat and very expensive, a pound of alligator meat cost about $7, and alligator skins can fetch $25 per foot. Because alligators are endangered, farmers have opened over 30 alligator farms, which are very successful. They produce about 300,000 pounds of meat and 15,000 skins a year. That is about 2.5 million a year in revenue for farmers. Please be kind and save our animals. Once they are gone, we cannot replace them. We have to live with Mother Nature. Only when the last tree is cut down, the last fish has been caught and the last stream has been poisoned will we realize you can’t eat money. At present rates of clearing and degradation, only Brazil and Zaire will have large tracts of tropical forests in the year 2016. By 2035, most of those forests also will be gone, leading to desertification. Yet, whatever come through has a validity that one would never deny. Even when a defenseless town is given up being sacked and pillaged, military officers do not put helpless men, women, children or animals to the sword with that just proportion of coolness with which a hangman ties the fatal noose, or a lawyer draws up a brief by which he beggars the wretched family he is employed against.

The Arrival and Reception of Reality

The World is immensely vast that it could hardly be comprehended by the imagination—there is so much beauty, on Earth, that is it often overlooked by the unaided eye. America was created under the leadership of extraordinarily wealthy and beneficial families like William Randolph Hearst, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, William Wirt Winchester, Paul Cuffe and Sam McCarthy. These contributors have left art that helps us see the World in new ways, revealing hidden or universal truths. There is so much aesthetic beauty, which transforms the World into a better and more beneficial place. A certain segment of the public has always sought out art, in galleries and museums, but art is everywhere and is not just visual. Art is about texture, shape, color, smell and sound. For example, when you walk into the grocery store and smell the fresh ripe nectarines and see the colorful displays of the produce gently arranged to appeal to the customer, some artist took his or her time putting that display together, so it is art, and this art happens to not only appeal to your visual senses, but the aroma also draws you in and you can always pictures yourself and image the taste of biting into a firm, but soft, juicy peach. The fruit is so fresh; it will make you forget all about candy and cake. And while we are on topic, smoothies, made from milk and fruit, are a great substitute for ice cream. Now, as you can see, art can be found in the grocery store, or even on the sidewalk.

Just take a look at the architecture of the historical buildings and look at all the detail that went into producing them—it is rare to find architecture up to the levels of the Victorian era. The Victorian era architecture is so beautiful because the World was going through a lot of changes and the architecture wanted to build homes and buildings to get your mind off of the World and make you feel like you were in a majestic fairy tale land with homes and buildings that looked like castles and European gardens. So people could intelligently have something to focus on and they could talk about the works of art and tune out unpleasant thoughts. The idea was that what you focus on will manifest, and if people were in the convention of habitually or generally thinking about the beauty and accepting a given culture, it would remove their own prejudice and other unwanted results from our conventional expectations. Roman, Greek and Egyptian architecture also focused more on people and buildings, to give rise to the greatness of being human. It also alludes to other realities, our connection to a greater race of beings. Beings that maybe even had special powers and were much larger than the modern human, many of the Greek paintings and statues are someone’s rendition of God or gods. For example, William Blake’s painting, The Ancient Days, represents God as a powerful and mature father.

However, in Western culture, many of you are taught to focus on Jesus because he is a real person, and it is far easier for him to represent his father—the spiritual unknown. People do not want God to be “Too human.” Nevertheless, a painting from 1432, by Jan van Eyck, God, depicts God as someone who trusts the World, and one that celebrates a materialism that is proper and right of benevolent Kings, “This is God, all powerful in his divine majesty; of all the best, by the gentleness of goodness; the most liberal giver, because of his infinite generosity.” God is supposed to be one who is loving and merciful, self-sacrificing love—one who would wound himself in order to feed his own with his own blood, if other food was unavailable. Art is a representation of one’s mind. What is it that you spend most of your time focusing on? Make sure it is something beneficial. All the sentiments of Worldly grandeur vanish at that unavoidable moment which decides the destiny of each individual. ‘Tis worthy to recollect, continued my father, how little alteration, in great end, the approaches of death have made. Vespasian died in a jest upon his close stool. Galba with a sentence, Septimus Serverus in a dispatch, and Tiberius in dissimulation, and Caesar Augustus in a compliment. –I hope ‘twas a sincere one.

The Revolution

The Universe is considered to be 14 billion years old, and is composed of particle of matter, energy, gas and light that exists in space. Some scientists, like Albert Einstein, believed there to be an infinite number of Universes’. Inside of our Universe is the Milky Way Galaxy, there are several other galaxies also. NASA estimates that there are 500 billion galaxies. To illustrate this point, The Whirlpool is 23 million light years from Earth. In our solar system are the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. The Earth orbits the Sun. Earth, the only planet known to have human life, but there more than likely are other life forms out there, considering the vastness of our Universe. Earth is located in the Milky Way Galaxy, this galaxy is considered to be 13.6 billion years old, and contains about 200-400 billion stars. Inside of the Milky Way Galaxy, scientist estimate there are 160 billion planets, and at the center of the galaxy is a massive black hole.

The moon, which orbits Earth, is also located in the Milky Way Galaxy, and is about 4.4 billion years old. The moon used to be a planet, until it smashed into Earth. This planet split into two moons, which orbited the Earth, until they collided into each other, and merged, forming one moon. The Earth is believed to be about 4.58 billion years old, and has only known to have human life for about 100 million years. The Sun, which heats and provides light for Earth is about 4.5 billion years old. Recently, there have been a lot of coronal mass ejection being projected from the Sun and they have been hitting Earth. The year of 2012, on Earth, is supposed to be very active with coronal mass ejections, and then the Sunspots, which produce these coronal mass ejections, will go dormant. The Sun will still continue act as a source of light and heat for the Earth.

However, in about 5 billion years, the Sun is expected to use all of its nuclear energy, expand into a red giant, then cool and retire as a cooler denser white dwarf. Also, it is likely that time travel is possible; the fact that the whirlpool galaxy is 23 million light years away is a strong indication. Also, consider taking a trip to China, this is what I call mini time travel, because China is a day ahead of California by at least thirteen hours. So if one was to take a flight from Sacramento, California, Thursday at 2pm, by the time one reaches Beijing, China, it will be Saturday at about 4pm, but in Sacramento, California, it will still be Friday and about 3am; that is technically time travel. “You must keep your mind on the objective, not on the obstacle.” -William Randolph Hearst

Your Love is My Drug

Oxytocin is a hormone, once thought to only be present in women, but studies have some that men also have oxytocin in their blood steam. Oxytocin is known for reducing fear and generating a feeling of well-being. It makes people feel like they are in love, which can help a pair enjoy mutual absorption of affection. Levels of oxytocin naturally increase when people are hugged, kiss, or shake someone’s hand. Also, people, who are in love, are shown to have increased levels of oxytocin in the plasma. High levels of oxytocin are said to make people more social, and can be used to treat people with autism by helping them to better communication their emotions. Oxytocin seems to have so many benefits; it is a hormone that is naturally created in the body, and released into the blood steam. Oxytocin is typically manifested in the hypothalamus and distributed into the plasma. This hormone is distributed by pituitary gland throughout the brain and the spinal cord, where it is bonded to oxytocin receptors, released throughout the body and influences behavior. In general, oxytocin is said to give a feeling of overall well-being. Although oxytocin is common in both men and women, this chemical has some enhanced functions for women. Studies have shown that women, who have higher levels of oxytocin in their blood, tend to connect better with their babies. These women have a special relationship with their babies, their babies are generally then center of their world. They tend to find joy in, “singing to their babies, pleasure in giving them bath, and enjoy feeding them. In looking at this evidence, it is possible that women with low levels of oxytocin may experience postpartum depression.

Studies have shown that newborns, which have a close relationship with their mothers, are more likely to be healthier. This is because women and babies get to know each other better, and the mother knows how to respond to the needs of her child. For the baby, connection with the mother and being held by the mother reduces stress on the baby because they cry less, are warmer, and have a sense of well-being because oxytocin is released, during skin-to-skin contact. These babies also get used to the natural bacteria on the mother’s skin and develop a natural immunity to other agents in the environment, so they are stronger. The more time two people spend together, the better they get to know each other. Since oxytocin is known to help people communicate better, synthetic oxytocin may help children with autism. Autism Spectrum Disorder is a range of complex neurodevelopment disorders, which create social impairments, communication difficulties. Studies have also shown that autism is linked to mothers who experience maternal stress. So to prevent Autism, women should limit the amount of stress they endure while they are pregnant. They should also have a close bond with their newborn babies. If Autism does develop, it is possible that oxytocin hormone therapy could help.

There is a clear connection that most people who are social, loved and hugged tend to develop better socially. We have focused on the benefits of oxytocin in women and children. However, oxytocin is also important for men, and helps to make a relationship better. Loving couples tend to want to hug, kiss, touch and have sexual intercourse. This is a good thing because it will increase their oxytocin levels. Skin to skin contact is known to generate higher levels of oxytocin. Oxytocin is released during sexual intercourse in both men and women, which encourages bonding. However, testosterone neutralized oxytocin in men, so men are less likely to want prolonged contact after sexual orgasm. So if you want a long-lasting relationship with a man, it is better to hold out on sex, until the man has genuine feelings for you. That way there will be an attachment between the couple and the man will not only want to have sex with you, but he will crave your attention and be more likely to stick to the relations for the long haul. Couples who share thoughts, ideas, and other commonalities will have a relationship that is far more intimate than just sexual partners.

How Many of You Men and Women have been Raped?

There are many ways to win in this World, but none of them is worth much without good hard work back of it. It is devastating to know that when you are in a room, nearly half of them men and women in the room have been forced to have sex. While the legal definition of rape varies from state to state, most states have laws that define rape as sexual intercourse occurring under the actual or threatened forcible compulsion that overcomes the serious and honest resistance of the victim. We are concerned about how many journalists have been raped by a coworker or photographer because you people work alone with your photographers often, and in isolated areas, at unusual hours, and it is possible that someone has been raped and is not speaking up. It is possible that these concerns have been brought to the attention of your legal department, but you were threatened by union staff that if you speak up, they will have you arrested, sue you, or make it so that you cannot work again. Rape can range anywhere from the violent assault by a stranger, to a planned romantic date that devolves into coerced sex. What these acts have in common is a disregard of the feeling of victims and a willingness to take advantage of and, often, to harm them. There are usually three different types of rape. Stranger rape, which is rape by an unknown assailant; acquaintance rape (date rape) is committed by someone known to the victim. Statutory rape is intercourse with a person under the age of consent (usually 18) or having consensual sex with someone is mentally disabled. If an individual is incompetent, they cannot consent. Despite the fact that rape is a significant problem, it has been difficult to obtain accurate statistics on its frequency. And 97 percent of rapists have never been sent to prison, but 50 percent of rape claims have been deemed as false accounts.

One of the reasons is that many individuals do not report when they are raped, and men and women are both often raped. It is reported that 38 percent of men have been raped, and 40 percent of women have been raped. That is alarming that at any time, half of the people you look at have been forced to have sex. Some people think that real rapes are only violent attacks, but that is not the case. This definition includes victims who were forced to penetrate someone else with their own body parts, either by physical force or coercion, or when the victim was drunk or high or otherwise unable to consent. When those cases were taken into account, the rates of non-consensual sexual contact basically equalized, with 1.270 million women and 1.267 million men claiming to be victims of sexual violence. 54 percent of men have been raped by other men, and 88 percent of women have been raped by men. However, women and especially men do not report being raped because they are embarrassed, fear they will not be taken seriously, fear reprisal by the offender or his or her family, and are concerned about unwanted publicity may deter individuals from reporting rapes. It just blows my mind that someone would get you drunk, assault you and seriously hurt you, then take advantage of you. Then the rapist walks around like they own the World and did nothing wrong. There are so many drawbacks to regard and intimacy, from pride, from property, and various other collateral causes, that rarely as we meet with people of brilliant parts, there is almost ever some objection to our desire of meeting them again.

Versatility is the Foundation of Success–Great President

It is fate of most individuals who mingle with the World, and attain even the prime of life, to make many real friends, and lose them in the course of nature. It is the fate of all Presidents and journalist to create imaginary friends, and lose them in the course of art. A treacherous friend is the most dangerous enemy. The President has to interact with the media frequently, and the problem is that not all journalist are good, some of them have bad intensions. So the best thing for you to do, is open yourself up to them, invite them into your home, for an art show or something. Not every event with the press has to be about a pressing issue. Sometimes you can just hang out with the reporters and treat them like they are your friends, but understand that they may have ulterior motives. On the other hand, you have members of the press that will have your back even more than your lawyer. The idea of public relations is to have a group, who is a management tool for your business, the media, your branch of government, and other institutions. You want your public relationship team to establish beneficial relationships to accomplish goals. If we could just cool it with some of the negative coverage, threats and crime, those seeking attention may stop misbehaving.

As the President of the United States of America, think as yourself as the father of everyone in this country, and the media as your children. Children seek attention. If a child cannot receive good feedback, he or she will seek negative attention. Often children seek attention when it is difficult for parents to give it to them, such as when a parent is engaged in another activity like signing bills, dealing with an economic crisis, or spending time with his family, who still lives at home. When the journalists are behaving, their parents may not pay attention to them because they are doing what they are supposed to be doing. However, to keep your journalist behaving well, compliment them, maybe give their station a compliment for great coverage on something you did well, or send them a nice letter. Journalist misbehave to get attention, power, revenge, or to make their parents feel inadequate. So basically, they are seeking good attention, in all the wrong ways. In modern society, institutions have many relationships. The President, for example, has relationships with Congress, its faculty, its staff, and law enforcement, its benefactors, the neighborhood, the community, colleges, accreditors, banks, and many other programs. The list could go on forever. Each of these constituencies is called a public—hence the term public relations. And the object is to be on good terms with the public, so the like you and share good things about you.

Through research, the public relations practitioner studies these relationships to determine how well they are working. This evaluation is an ongoing process. If a complaint comes to your office, you never want to overlook it, but at the same time, you do not want to issue a threat, that is how you make enemies. First of all, let them know that you can relate to their concern and will address the issues, but first you need to gather more information. Give a few weeks, and if you decide it is the issue at hand is serious, then take corrective action. However, if it is just someone who is upset about something, never apologize—the President is not supposed to say sorry, it will make you look weak. Also, if students and the Press are disrespecting you, do not let them taunt you. Put them in check, professionally, on the spot, and have them removed from your meeting. This will show people that you are a strong President and will not tolerate foolishness, and will discourage anyone else from stepping out of line. When people start to think they are better than the President that is when we have a problem. These social media accounts, which are disrespecting you, need to be shut down. Never in my life have I seen so many people make such bad remarks about a President and get away with it, but that goes to show bad behavior is contagious and need to be eliminated. On your public relations team, you may want to have a few lawyers, a few journalists, former members of congress, and people you know like you. Their job is to recommend policies to top management to make these relationships work better, not only for you, but also for the partners in each relationship. However, being too nice, which many think you are could have consequences.

During the great, of 1929, it was discovered that some corporations were too nice to the public and their employees, which put them at risk with many public, including its own employees. I am not saying go all out and be mean, but you have to let it be known that you are not a joke and there will be serious repercussions for slander, harassment, assault, theft and lies. You need to have enlightened self-interest, which is a mutually beneficial public relationship with the media. Face, bad news tanks the economy and makes people act ugly, but when you point out all that is going well, people feel better and see that this is not the end of the World. However, when you are too nice to others, they lose their motivation and will monolithically run all over you and get the notion that they are running the game. Nonetheless, have some less formal events. Have journalist play golf with you, playing golf with the President would make their career and life and they will be happy. Invite them over for an ice cream social, and this will get them to like you as a person, but they will also know business is business. You can also set up municipal programs with certain cities and grants for schools and scholarships for employees’ children and people who share your views. Still, you will need critics, on your staff, to keep you on your toes, and critics and haters are not the same.

Some of you most valuable supporters are your critics. It is often those who love you, who will do you wrong out of concern, until they learn the truth. Once you straighten the nation out and let them know what time it is and who is boss, you will benefit from a revised image, and in the spirit of enlighten self-interest, so will the rest of the America and the World. Public relations are used to accomplish goals. Plant good press releases that you know newspapers, magazines, and TV news and radio stations will pick up, do not be afraid to seek some good press. Maybe someone has overcome a challenge and it is found out that you are supporting this person through college. That will look good in the public’s eye, especially if that person is from a group, who opposes you. And keep in mind, many huge corporations found themselves in disfavor, in the late 1800s, for ignoring the public good to make profits. This idea that just because corporations have so much money and support the economy, so they skate on fraud, assault and corruption, because taking them down would hurt the economy is just bogus. If bad behavior keeps spreading, it will hurt us all more. This will be a nation fighting itself and at war with the rest of the World. We have to set an example. We do not need to arm anyone, people need to learn to communicate, be fair and show respect. Nothing is so dangerous, especially to those who are not much accustomed to it, as a little success.

A World of Our Own—Must End Poverty in America

A good mind ought to be incited and a bad mind restrained. A virtuous mind soon finds consolation is itself. Miracles seem impossible, just because they break the laws of Nature. There seems something blasphemous in supposing the Universe can mar ITS own order. The misery that overspreads so vastly a part of mankind exists chiefly because those are able to relieve it do not know that it exists. To love and live well is wished of many, but incident to few. To live and to love well is incident to few, but indifferent to all. To love without reason is an argument of lust, to live without love, a token of folly. The measure of love is to have no mean, the end to be everlasting. There is nothing in lobe more requisite or more delectable than pleasant and wise conference; neither can there arise any storm in love which by wit is not turned into a calm. Tender love maketh greatest show of blossoms, but tried love bringeth forth sweetest juice. If we want to understand the dark forces within ourselves, we must give up the haughty idea that we are unique in all creation. Just as every part of your body is interrelated with every other part, so each of us is interrelated and integrated into the larger human system—the society which we are a part of. And, by extension, each society is directly related to every other one, as nation is to nation, continent to continent. The entire planet can be seen ultimately as a gigantic network or web of interwoven parts. One thing you learn when you study your first spider web is that a slight pressure on any single strand of that web is felt everywhere on it. That is how the spider uses her web: when a bit of food lands there and becomes stuck in the sticky coatings, vibrations travel all along the network, and whenever the spider lies in watchful waiting, it picks up these vibrations and gets the message.

So it is in the network of human experiences: pressure on any part of it affects the rest of the web. An earthquake in Napa, California affects individuals the World over, as does a war in Ferguson, Missouri or Stockton, California, as the political-religious conflict going on in the State Capitol in Sacramento with the arrested of four Democratic Senator’s this year: Ben Hueso (DUI), Leland Yee (Corruption, guns, murder for hire in an FBI affidavit in support of a criminal complaint against him and 25 other people.), Ron Calderon (taking bribes in exchange for government acts), and Rod Wright (was convicted of perjury and voter fraud for lying about his legal residence in Los Angeles County) and the ethnic unrest all around the World. The network ties each particle of humankind to every other particle. There are virtually no dark or hidden groups of human life on the globe. When stone age tribes are discovered, in Stockton, California, it is only a matter of time until the entire World knows about them, and information gleaned from studying their lives provides insight to every culture and nation in the World. This sort of interrelatedness has its disadvantages. Communications media have literally shrunk the distances between individuals and peoples. A decreasing amount of privacy is available to each of us. Is this lack of privacy important? We think so. People drive enormous please from involvement with each other, but each of us also need time apart, time alone. Our own personal lives are in need of development just as much as our social lives. If privacy is eliminated, what happens to the interior World of each of us? What happens to meditation, introspection, self-study, to contact with oneself? These must not be lost in the patterns of growth and ever-increasing interinvolvement. Does that confuse and complicate the situation even more? It should not surprise you. Among the perennial and essential human dilemmas is this each of us must somehow find ways of developing our own life, gaining personal growth and depth, reaping advantages for ourselves—while still cultivating a healthy, outgoing, cooperative, and caring relationship with other people. This is almost as difficult as running in two directions, at the same time.

And I hear you thinking, “What if that was me, I would want someone to speak up?” Well, that aspect of it is a little hard to deal with, so I guess since no one wants to do the right then, whenever one feels betrayed or guilty, just go meditate and focus on the bright future. Trust, me, I really feel so good and am able to repress the memories, but then to look at these people know they know want is going on, but will not say anything makes me feel kind of blue and makes me want to distance myself from them. I have tried to share some of the best insights of the best human minds of the human species. These only begin to scratch the surface of what we need to know. The human relations problems yet to be explored are immense, and the solution will come no more easily than did the others. Children use words to express how they feel; adults use words to hide how they feel. To me, one of the most baffling aspects of the behavior of men and women in highly-responsible positions in some segment of our society, is their comparative lack of concern for—perhaps its lack of awareness of—the factor of communication, as such, in the problems and situations in which they have to deal—It is communication that makes human society possible. For communication to take place, the receiver must also be receptive. That means more than just having one’s ears cleaned. One must also want or need to get the message and be willing to decide ad fit it into his existing pattern of ideas or associations. If a student is asleep in a classroom, even the professor’s most exciting and beautiful message will not get through to him.

If I am angry at you, I may not receive your message, no matter what or how you try to send. If you are unwilling to hear me because you do not like or respect people of my gender, ethnic background, profession or generation, then I am spilling my message onto unreceptive ground. Influence through mass communication need not be blatant—it can be very subtle indeed. Even when communicators are not making a direct attempt to sell something, they can succeed in influencing the way we look at the World. All I have to say is we need to stop rewarding and supporting those we know have done wrong. And in the media, it would be nice to get news stations with different content, and not have every station go to commercial break at the same time. Sometimes it feels like the TV news, is all one station, ran by the government, with different labels. You all, for the most part do a great job, we understand that is just how the business has evolved, but we want to change the World back to when Walter Cronkite was reading the trade papers on national TV. The diversity is great, but more originality, research and reports. Through education, books, encounter and sensitivity groups, and programs on television and other media, we are trying to bring about awareness of such issues: racism (only one race), sexism, elitism—all these are increasingly being brought to our collective attentions. This is the era of consciousness-raising, when underrepresented groups are seeking to awaken their members to the abuses of racism and the glories of ethnic heritages long in disrepute, and when women are trying to draw the attention of other women (and men) to the problem of sexual stereotyping and discrimination. However, the major problems in society are the institutions they are controlled by evil people.

However, we are firmly committed to the idea that human nature is not instinctively violent—that we all start out neutral in this regard. It is in the learning that occurs in the home, the neighborhood, the classroom, the playground, the streets, shops, offices, military institutions, newsrooms and other places that individuals acquire the skills and attitudes needed to do violence. Cooperation, respect, appreciation, mutual interaction, and selflessness are often taught ineffectively, irrelevantly, or too late! To pretend to be a good person is not enough. Much violence is spawned by frustration. Frustration will always be found where people’s basic needs go unsatisfied—so if you are jealous of someone, it means you have an inadequacy someone in your life to make you hate that person. Where poverty is the frustrator, it is up to not only the government, but also to individual citizens and groups to pressure for the eradication of poverty. So before we jam pack this country, with people who do not belong here, we need to help the ones who are here legally, first and foremost. If one gets ahead at the expense of another individual—or of whole groups of people—that inequality pollutes the society of which we are all a part of, and one cannot be surprised at the violence that results. Some violence is created by mental and emotional disorders, for which successful treatment is sometimes available. However, society needs to create an improved climate of acceptance for these programs of help and therapy that are available. The stigma attached to mental illness must be eradicated, and so must the feeling of shame or weakness that keeps many people from seeking available professional help when they need it. On men reprieved by its disdainful mercy, the immortal sea confers in its justice the full privilege of desired unrest.

Democratic Senator Benjamin Hueso Wet and Wild

In the cold courts of justice, the dull head demands oaths, and holy writ proofs; but in the warm halls of the heart one single, untestified memory’s spark shall suffice to enkindle such a blaze of evidence, that all the corners of conviction are as suddenly lighted up as a midnight city by a burning building, which on every side whirls it reddened brands. After leaving a Latino Caucus dinner, at the Il Fornaio restaurant, honoring Latino Legislators, Democratic Senator Benjamin Hueso, of San Diego, California was arrested on 22 August 2014, at 3:27 a.m., in Sacramento California for Driving Under the Influence, and going the wrong way, on a one-way street. Senator Benjamin Hueso was elected to the senate in March 2013; he was not released from jail until 10am 22 August 2014. The arrest was conducted by the prestigious California Highway Patrol. It is reported that the Senator’s blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit of .08. “When I first came up to you, I could smell alcohol from your mouth Senator Benjamin Hueso.” The Senator has been described as, defendant and had watery eyes and heavy eyelids, and wreaked of the odor of an alcoholic beverage . . . and was unsteady on his feet and he failed two Breathalyzers — blowing .159 and .113. The meeting was over at 9pm, and Democratic Senator Benjamin Hueso sat in a conference room, for two hours, chatting, snacking, drinking and playing cards. By the end of two hours he had drunk three cocktails, but had no idea how many shots were in each. However, most people will tell us that they would not drive when they get to about an .04 or .05. There is no such thing as moral responsibility for past acts, no such thing as real justice in punishing them, for the reason that human beings are not stationary existences, but changing, growing, incessantly progressive organisms, which in no two moments are the same. Therefore, justice, whose only possible mode of proceeding is to punish in present time for what is done in past time, must always a person more or less similar to, but never identical with, the one who committed the offense, and therein must be no justice.

There is so such thing as Earthly justice, and especially none under the head of Christendom. Senator Benjamin Hueso “Quite the coward, it would appear. Ben Hueso wants to play dirty politics, but not to stand in front of the media to defend his unethical actions.” Just a year ago, Senator Benjamin Hueso claims he witnessed Former San Diego City Councilman, Carl DeMaio masturbating, in City Hall bathroom. However, many would like to know Why was Senator Benjamin Hueso stalking DeMaio in a private restroom, lying in wait, to rush a door, which locks shut after entry? Why did Senator Benjamin Hueso intentionally rush out of a council meeting to go to that restroom to grab the door before it closed behind Carl DeMaio? Senator Benjamin Hueso behavior is downright creepy, and his ulterior motives are crystal clear: he is determined to bring down City Councilman, Carl DeMaio, a Republican, at any cost … including the loss of his own integrity and moral compass. Senator Benjamin Hueso loved to watch men masturbate. It is a little fetish of his. Senator Benjamin Hueso had been watching Carl Demaio for a while. He would listen at the door and wait to wait to hear the low moans or slapping sounds. Ben Hueso, in 2009, acknowledged to this reporter that he witnessed Carl DeMaio engaging in the masturbation practice twice. Describing the scene that spring, when Senator Benjamin walked in on Carl DeMaio, who was in front of a urinal, with his pants down, Senator Benjamin Hueso said: ‘Carl DeMaio was masturbating. Then Senator Benjamin Hueso then slide his hands down to touch himself. Supposedly, Carl Demaio groaned as he erupted, spurting hot, white jets of it over his hand, landing thickly on his belly. Just the sight of his produce made Senator Benjamin Hueso release too, shuddering against the doorway, pressing himself there, like he was going to collapse. However, this time the senator could not just sneak out like he had often done in the past. Carl then jumped, caught by surprise. He jumped to the sink … saying “I’m sorry, I’m sorry” about six times and then washed his hands, darted out.’” Men in masses, when goaded by disappointment, are never just.
