What is Not Pink is Not a Flamingo and What is Not Just is Not to be Done

Sometimes words cannot express deep feelings of love. God knows from all eternity what an individual will do if His grace is extended to an individual, and He consequently gives sufficient grace to effect the congruent action of the individual’s will with his grace. An ordinance of reason is directed to the common good and that obligation is the essence of law and that responsibility is essentially an act of will. God’s law is an act of a just and right will by which a superior wills society to oblige to live by. Our life’s purpose is to understand and refine and grow so that we can teach others the love of God. The mystery of God’s love is the reason for everything he does from this beautiful World he created to the freedom He gives us to live and explore it. Human beings, in their groupings down through the centuries, have concocted, shivered, and patched certain social conditions well enough calculated to develop the best and the worst that is in us, making it easier for us to be bad than good, that good might be the standard. God never does anything accidentally, and He never makes mistake. God has a reason for everything he creates. #RandolphHarris 1 of 8

In the present day, we may not be living under an evil empire, but we could be living under another, more sinister menace that is walking among us every day. You may feel that you are under an existential threat. Therefore, emotions need to be addressed because without such attention, the darkness of humanity awaits. A crucial component of our journey on Earth is being compelled to model and magnify the love of God wherever we go. We are in sad want of good news about God; and what does other news signify if we have not that? For everything else comes to an end, and when we die we leave it all. However, God lasts when everything else is gone. What shall we do if He is not our friend? Within each of us is the pearl of a divine self still being molded, and God have given us a way to realize our potential. God have us Jesus Christ to atone for our sins and the Holy Ghost to testify of truth, comfort, and guise us. The three members of the Godhead—God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost—are distinctly separate entities, but united in a divine purpose to foster our happiness and salvation. #RandolphHarris 2 of 8

Society should stop forcing unnecessary labels on people and allow them to tell their own stories. Some people really are not evil. However, their actions are clearly bad and should be characterized as evil, but those actions are motivated by something else. People with evil actions are driven by a magnified emotion we all experience to one degree or another. Some people are motivated by anxiety and what matter is where they place their sense of control. Many individuals attempt to control everything external to them, they are self-important. People of God strive to demonstrate self-control and allow for free will. There is only one virtue in life, a single quality that could solve all the World’s problems, end all hatred, and cure every broken heart—to love God as our Father in Heaven. The love of God gives us purpose in life and compassion for all living beings. Happiness is the purpose and design of existence, and that is God’s purpose for our lives. All beings are to have virtue, uprightness, faithfulness, holiness, and keep the commandments of God to lead a happy life. #RandolphHarris 3 of 8

Eternal law is the divine providence which extends to all creatures and from which the other laws are derived. Defined as a free decree of the will of God, who lays down the order to be observed, it is immutable and has always existed with God. It differs from the other laws, whose origins depend upon their promulgation; the eternal law receives it promulgation only through other laws. Human’s knowledge of such a law is limited and is reflected in one’s acceptance of the divine aw, the discovery of the natural law, and one’s promulgation of the human law. Divine law is the direct revelation of God—the Mosaic law. The power and the will of God are the source of human obligation to obey the divine law. In contrast, the power and the obligation of the human law are directly the will of the legislator, although indirectly the will of God. Tyrannicide is rejected here. God Almighty is just and gracious, and gives not His assent to rash and inhuman curses. Once we are convinced that there is a God, and that we are here to save our souls, it is surely folly in the extreme to think of anything except Him. #RandolphHarris 4 of 8

God sees at one view the whole thread of our existence, not only that part which we have already passed through, but that which runs forward into all the depths of eternity. Before the creation of this Earth, our Heavenly Father provided a plan that made it possible for us, His children to become more like him. The will is placed in the soul, and who can enter there but He that created the soul? This plane was called the plan for salvation. Before this mortal life, we lived with God as His spirit children, without physical bodies. We chose God’s plan, which included the creation of this Earth and provided us the opportunity to come here to gain a body, make choices, develop faith, and accept responsibility for our actions. This allows us to progress beyond what was possible in the spirit World when we lived with God. Some philosophers believe that you even selected the parents you have. Beauty and pureness are everlasting; they are of God, and can never die. They may for a moment be obscured, but they shall reappear in brighter luster. Angels have charge over them that they dash not their foot against a stone. Let us turn to the pleasant face of God in what is about us. #RandolphHarris 5 of 8

Love leads to God. Because God made you for a reason, he also decided when you would be born and how long you will live. “You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!” (Psalms 139.16). God is the disposer of all. He can turn back the captivity of Judah, even by the weakest instrument. To execute His message, the snail as sure a messenger as the falcon. Natural law is the participation of the moral nature of human beings in the eternal law. The natural law is based on the light of reason, but it is the work of the divine will and not the human will; its ultimate source is God, the supreme legislator. The natural law is not identified with man’s nature; it transcends his will. The precepts of the natural law are the general and primary principles—to do good and avoid evil; the more definite and specific principles—that God must be worshipped; and certain moral precepts that may be deduced from the primary principles—that usury is unjust, adultery is wrong, and so on. A person’s will is embodied in the actions of a whole person. #RandolphHarris 6 of 8

Choose for yourself this day whom you will serve. I cannot give u my will—I must exercise it, putting it into action. I must will to obey, and I must will to receive God’s Spirit. There is no dispensation from the natural law; its precepts do not reflect a change in the natural law, for although the natural law conferred all things upon human beings in common, it did not positively enjoin that only this form of ownership should endure. Human law must be based on either the divine law or the natural law and is best exemplified in political philosophy. The state is natural, and legislative power is derived from the community and exists for the good of the community. The ultimate source of such power is God, whose bestows it as a natural property upon the community. Such power is actualized only upon the formation of a political society. The form of government is essentially a matter of choice by the people. Spiritual supremacy and jurisdiction is the aim of a spiritually vigorous saint “that I may know Him” (Philippians 3.10). #RandolphHarris 7 of 8

Do you have even the slightest reliance on anything other than God? Is there a remnant of reliance left on any natural quality within you? Are you relying on yourself in any manner? Will you examine yourself by asking these probing questions? Is your relationship with God sufficient for you to expect Him to exhibit His wonderful life in you? A spiritually vigorous saint never believes that his or her circumstances simply happen at random, nor does one ever think of their life as being divided into the secular and the sacred. Have a faith the God can see. Put actions behind what you believe. It is not enough to just pray, not enough to just believe. Take it one step further and demonstrate your faith. You may not see how your dream could ever work out, but as you increase your faith, you will see God begin to create new opportunities for you, giving you the strength to do what you could not before. God will show you His favor in miraculous ways. When the Creator of the Universe placed a dream in your heart, He also set a completion date to bring it to pass. #RandolphHarris 8 of 8
