We need not seek protection behind intellectual smoke screens and, indeed, this sort of evasion prevents any really dignified adjustment to the human situation based on knowledge and reason. One of the great secrets of relationship is acknowledgement. The behavior of others toward us always includes a hidden gift. Even if that behavior appears negative, there is something in it for us. Very often that something appears in the form of a signal to us to become more aware. Let us say for example that someone calls us a derogatory name. Our natural response is usually one of anger. However, instead, we can use that energy of the anger to consider what is that person asking us to become more aware of? Perhaps we are in an unsatisfactory situation. Very often in human relationships, internal dialogue can go on for years about our resentment over another person’s lack of appreciation for our feeling about them. Therefore, there are people in our lives who are walking around with endless mental stream of thoughts about us, having to do with our lack of appreciation of their feelings for us. #RandolphHarris 1 of 6

If our devotion is to the cause of humanity, we will be quickly defeated and brokenhearted, since we will often be confronted with a great deal of ingratitude from other people. However, if we are motivated by our love for God, no amount of ingratitude will be able to hinder us from serving one another. Once we realized that Jesus Christ has served us even to the depths of our meagerness, selfishness, and sin, nothing we encounter from others will be able to exhaust our determination to serve others for His sake. A higher state of mind and spiritual vision can only be achieved through the higher practice of personal character. If you live up to the highest and best that you know in the outer level of your life, God will continually say to you, “My child, come up even higher.” When God elevates you by His grace into Heavenly places, you will find a vast plateau where you can move with ease. Art is an immediate expression of the Christian experience in which the image of God in the human subject is remodeled on the higher paradigm of Christ. #RandolphHarris 2 of 6

The self is spirit, or word, and this word does not utter, but alludes to, the Absolute; in this way it reveals its dependence. The marginal cost (the cost added by producing one additional unit of product of service) is purest form of this allusion to the Absolute is the Word of God, Christ. The vocation of the Christian is to utter that Word in himself or herself. This most mature thought is personalism. The self is central to every form of participation and is the ultimate point of reference. However, the self cannot sustain itself; it rests upon the other, and the transcendent is therefore the principle of the self’s being. Transcendentalism is a very formal word that describes a very simple idea. People, men and women equally, have knowledge about themselves and the World around them that transcends or goes beyond what they can see, hear, taste, touch or feel. This knowledge comes through intuition and imagination not through logic or the senses. People cannot trust themselves to be their own authority on what is rights. #RandolphHarris 3 of 6

 A transcendentalist is a person who accepts these ideas not as religious beliefs, but as a way of understanding life relationships. The degree of commitment is much greater than we can imagine. It is a blend of natural science and speculative philosophy imbued with the general spirit of the romantic movement that views history of nature as a development or evolution from inorganic stages to organic and animate forms, governed by a divine purpose. Nature itself is creative, the acme of the natural creative process being the free individual human personality or spirit. Humans are a living unity of spirit and nature—a microcosm, in the sense that the history of humankind mirrors the development of nature itself. The self realizes itself as a person by its relation to the transcendent and this belief system inspires people to looking their hearts because that is where they are naturally good and everyone’s potential is limitless. Nature and art are intellectual contributions inspired by the spirit. In myths and mythological traditions, a true, though symbolically expressed, understanding and knowledge of nature is interpreted in our culture. The Romantic association of nature and spirit is expressed in the landscape, which is regarded as an extension of the human personality, capable of sympathy with the human emotional state. Also, nature is regarded as a vehicle for spirit just as human beings; the breath of God fills both the soul and Earth. Delight in an unspoiled scenery and in the innocent life of rural dwellers is a spirit of their freedom. They fight delight in notions of romantic love, mystery and superstition, and place an emphasis upon the imagination as a cosmic gateway to transcendent experience and spiritual truth as a spiritual science with theosophical material and fresh occult intuitions. Yet, our final destination is unknown, but our hearts still feel connected and ending might reveal because there is no tomorrow. And that is why the person who loves, and loves truly, should not permit its object to remain in any doubt of one’s feeling and intentions. I have seen your face before and I know that you know me.
