The unfortunate have claims upon the hearts of those whom God has blessed with affluence. Life is full of the saddest and the strongest contrasts and there are times when an individual must act as though life were equally sweet in any company. No single thing is so important to every person as to have for neighbors intelligent, companionable persons. There are three different meanings of “being” –a more general sense as “intelligible” and a less general sense as “something” and a particular sense as “real beings,” or being outside the intellect. Attributes are either original or derived. The original attributes are essence existence, and production. Production originates the derived attributes. God is the primary cause of motion and the planets are moved by vortices in the ethereal substance. The search for the most important element of space may be filled by God as a savior brining personal consolation to all beings. The idea of the Divine Being is splendid. There mere idea of a powerful personal Helper is harmonizing and it makes people express erudition in this colorful and animated World. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 11
The idea of the vital unity of the family of humankind is the reality of human fellowship. Rationality is inherent in nature. It is a logical order and is a procedure to order our objects of thought in a logical way. There is a necessity for such a procedure. The rational order is independent of human or supernatural mind. By no amount of reasoning can we altogether eliminate all contingency from our World. The Universe is ultimately what it is, and contingency cannot be eliminated. And by contingency, the World contains an irrational element in the sense that all form is the form of something which cannot be reduced to from alone. Although the essence of particular things is their invariant relations, our knowledge of these is only probably. Only in logic or in mathematics can we attain certainty; in the World of facts our knowledge is only probable, for we cannot prove that the opposite of a given factual statement is absolutely impossible. Every choice logically involves a principle of decision and the primacy of the feeling or perception of the demands in the actual cause before us leads us to believe that we may have an ethical system that is rigorously logical and at the same time richly empirical. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 11
Such an ethics must be grounded in what human beings desire and believe, and yet its primary condition must be the logical analysis of judgment as to what constitutes right and wrong, good and evil—an ethic that is the rational formulation of our ends. No statement can be known to be true until it is known to cohere with every other statement of the system; where the system consists of all true statements, such knowledge is unattainable. In practice, we sometimes reject as false an ordinary person’s assertions—for instance, that he saw a ghost—or even a scientist’s results—for instance, in experiments on extrasensory perception—on the ground that they do not cohere with the other common-sense or scientific views that we also hold as true. God has an infinite, all-productive mind. The fallen people are creatures diseased in their will and they take a tragic alienation from God in the area of moral significance and socioeconomic relationships, and the external actions of everyday public association. The individual’s experience, who believes in God, inevitably becomes a form of theosophy. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 11
Religion is the highest exercise of the human spirit, and philosophy is a kind of rational prolegomenon that prepares the way for human’s fuller appreciation of their relationship with God. God of powers, who is by His invisible strong power and great wisdom has created the World, and by His glorious counsel has surrounded His creation with beauty, and by strong word has fixed the Heavens and laid the foundations of Earth upon the waters, and by wisdom and providence has bestowed upon us a blessing of glory and joy, if we should only keep the commandments of God which we have received in great faith. God is freedom and immortality. The unconditioned must be conceived, apparently, as a primeval synthesis of subject and object, consciousness and nature, in the self-consciousness of God. In God or Spirit lies the identity of the two, of being and knowing in the “absolute I AM.” Thus, nature and the minds are to be conceived as two dialectical opposites resulting from God’s free act of self-alienation in becoming self-conscious. Do not thus reason with yourself, but with all your heart turn to the Lord and ask Him without doubting, and you will know the multitude of His tender mercies; that He will never leave you, but fulfill the request of your soul. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 11
God is not like humans, who remembers the evils done against them; but God remembers not evils, and has compassion on His own creature. Cleanse, therefore, your heart from all the vanities of this World, and from the words already mentioned, and ask of the Lord and you will receive all, and in none of your requests will you be denied which you make to the Lord without doubting. However, if you doubt in your heart, you will receive none of your requests. For those who doubt regarding God are double-souled, and obtain not one of their requests. However, those who are perfect in faith ask everything, trusting in the Lord; and they obtain, because they ask nothing doubting, and not being doubled-souled. For every double-souled human, even if one repent, will with difficulty be saved. Cleanse you heart, therefore, from all doubt, and put on faith, because it is strong, and trust God that you will obtain from Him all that you ask. And if at any time, after you have asked the Lord, you are slower in obtaining your request [than you expected], do not doubt because you have not soon obtained the request of your soul’ for invariably it is on account of some temptation or some sin of which you are unaware of that you are slower in obtaining your request. #RyanPhilippe 5 of 11
I cried to find so much goodness in the World when I thought there was so little. Wherefore do not cease to make the request of your soul, and you will obtain it. However, if you grow weary and waver in your request, blame yourself, and not God who does not give to you. Consider this doubting state of mind, for it is wicked and senseless, and turns many away entirely from the faith, even though they be very strong. For this doubting is the daughter of the devil, and acts exceedingly wickedly to servants of God. Despise, then, doubting, and gain the mastery over it in everything; clothing yourself with faith, which is strong and powerful. For faith promises all things, perfects all things; but doubt having no thorough faith in itself, fails in every work which it undertakes. That faith is from above—from the Lord—and has great power; but doubt is an Earthly spirit, coming from the devil, and has no power. Serve, then, that which has power, namely in faith, and keep away from doubt, which has no power, and you will live to God. And all will live to God whose minds have been set on those such as love, forgiveness, peace, intelligence, and salvation. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 11
Since conscious life exists only through contradiction, or doubleness, the whole of nature out of which the conscious life develops must exhibit opposing forces in the reconciling and recurrence of which consists the process and mystery of production. Art is produced through that same dialectical struggles for the reconciliation of opposites that takes place between nature and mind. Art is not, then, merely imitative, but symbolic of reality. Like all symbols, it is consequently an inherent part of the process it represents; and the artist as creator, one’s consciousness being the focus of nature and Idea, matter, and form becomes symbolic of God. So, like God, the artist or Genius must suffer alienation in order to create. One needs to be in a special sense disinterested, emotionally aloof for a while from one’s subject matter and from oneself. For in the joy of creation individuality is lost. One must first eloign oneself from nature in order to return to its full effect. Just as in the cosmic struggle for synthesis, so in the microcosm of art and in the individual artist’s mind, there is an attempted fusion of conscious and unconscious forces. #RyanPhillippe 7 of 11
A state of physical well-being can create a kind of joy, in spite of the profoundest anxiety of mind. The artist achieves such fusions in virtue of one’s special psychological make-up; that is, through having one’s power of Imagination. We do not create through merely imaginary (unreal) fantasy, nor do we imagine in the sense of making or to our readers a kind of supposal, veridical or false. Imagination is related to the notion of nihilation of consciousness. The power of primary Imagination is not peculiar to poets, but is standard psychological equipment of all humans. It is the term we use for what is considered to be finite mind’s repetition in perception of God’s creative act. Synthetically perceiving and categorizing things that are not me, I become conscious of myself, and that this state of human self-consciousness is analogous to God’s own creative schizophrenia. When looking at the reality of the Universe, the Sun, Stars, Moon, Earth and Gravity, it can be seen that God has manifested delusions of grandeur and from the stand point of a mere human, it may all seem like a hallucination because it is so bizarre and beautiful. Creation displays the power of God’s unifying chaotic experience into the significant form of art. #RyanPhillippe 8 of 11
It is clear that the God creation of reality is symbolic and the instrument of talent and genius is inherent in His sense of memory and source of ideas, and in God’s ability to transcend and transform the phenomenal embodies in works of art that the inner struggles between nature and mind are temporary points of resolution. God’s Renaissance is to embody the highest powers of critical response within a framework of philosophical concepts that seemed to explain and reinforce that response rather than inhibit to destroy it. I caught the faint smell of flowers and had the wild thought that perhaps, for a brief moment, God had somehow transcended the distance between us. However, it was soon replaced by a whiff of cigarettes and raucous laughter. The Patience to wait for this vision is not the same as indifference; patience conveys the idea of someone who is tremendously strong and able to withstand all assaults. Having the vision of God is the source of patience because it gives us God’s true and proper inspiration. A person who has the vision of God is not devoted to a cause or to any particular issue—one is devoted to God Himself. #RyanPhillippe 9 of 11
To a benevolent soul, the odds is worth the throw; and though it be against one at the present, one may win it in the future. What God wants us to do is to walk by faith, and it is free. Our desire of Earthly experience draws us to rebirth, and we are born into a form that fits our nature as a glove a hand; the soul of a warrior passes into the robust form of a warrior; the soul of a poet into the sensitive body of a poet. We should live our lives by our faith in God and His Truth, both of which are unseen, both of which have eternal significance depending on what we do with them. Instead of chasing after the same things the people of this World pursue, a child of God is superior and should focus on the unseen realities such a God, Jesus Christ, Heaven, morality, purity, and the consequence of sin. So, whether we are in Heaven or on Earth, at the house, at school, at work or at the park or nightclub, we should aim to please God. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what one has done in the body, whether good or evil. The truly beneficent mind looks upon every child of sorrow as their relation, and entitled to their assistance. #RyanPhillippe 10 of 11
God, my respected teacher, abled persons and pillars of the state are the results of your painstaking cultivation on this holy day, I pay respects to you with my devoted blessing. God, thank you for (your) tolerance and encouragement. When I was perplexed in mistakes, it was you who awoke my lost heart with your kind and affectionate smile. Luster of jewelry reflects the radiance of blue sky. Beautiful dark green reflects the holy Sun. The gentle breeze makes me feel the strength of your Scriptures. God, you bring me into a colorful World, a limitless World. God, my heart is calling you and saluting you. It is you who open the window for our souls. It is you who makes us see the vast and bizarrely beautiful World, celestial body beyond the Galaxy, tomorrow and future, yesterday and all things millions and billions of years ago. Because of your love, my spirit has been enriched, my intelligence ignited as a beacon of faith. Thank you, my dear God. Mind rules the World, but what rules the mind? The Body. The body is but a passive machine, calculated for the reception and influence of those amazing faculties which are annexed to human nature. #RyanPhillippe 11 of 11
