In the Western tradition, the ancient Greek had various mythological explanations for the origin of humans. One early view was that Prometheus fashioned humans out of water and Earth. Neanderthals used fire not only for warmth, but also for cooking and perhaps protection against dangerous animals. The remains discovered at the Neanderthal sites suggest that they were efficient hunters They hunted both small and large game, including such extinct creatures as European elephants, giant elk, bison, and huge bears weighing up to 1,500 pounds. These bears, related to the Alaskan brown bear, are known as cave bears and were formidable prey for Neanderthal hunters. The evidence surrounding cave bear kills has led some archaeologist to suggest that Neanderthals conducted religious activities. The Neanderthal man—give him his due—has extraordinary intelligence, an extraordinary cleverness. His World is full of proof of it. You cannot name a thing a Neanderthal cannot make. You cannot hardly name a scientific problem he cannot solve. Here he is now solving the problems of sending men exploring into outer space—and returning them safely to Earth. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 6
Thales of Miletus argued that life originated in the sea and that humans initially where fishlike, eventually moving onto dry land and evolving into mammals. In a cave in Switzerland, archaeologist found stone-lined rectangular pits containing more than twenty cave bear skulls and covered by an enormous flat stone. The site appears to be come sort of shrine. Similar findings at other locations have led some archaeologist to view these complexes as evidence of a Neanderthal cave bear cult. Intentional burial of their dead is another indication of religious beliefs among Neanderthals. These were the first hominids, as far as we know, to do this. This might leave some wondering how long ago did Neanderthals live? Well, about 600,000 years ago and the men were an average of five feet and five inches tall, while the women were an average of five feet and one inch tall. The brains of Neanderthals were larger than modern humans, but was essentially the same structure, which suggest that they had similar intellectual capacities. Nonetheless, the Neanderthals emotions superseded his intelligence. He will commit against others the most incredible spontaneous emotional acts, so psyche-deep in his cerebral superiority complex. The Neanderthal brain is about 2,000 cubic centimeters, while the human brain is at best 1,400 cubic centimeters. With a large brain, maybe the Neanderthal does have more instincts. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 6
It is possible Neanderthals are a superior being, they could hunt animals lager than they are, without modern weapons, frequently, and live to tell about it. Now in every human being there is a built-in human instinct system, without which we should not even come to birth. Human beings have only been in existence for about 40,000 to 200,000 years, so their species is much young than a Neanderthal. However, each of us has also been educated to a specific local culture system. The peculiar thing about man, which distinguishes us from all other beasts of the kingdom, is that we are born twelve years too soon. No mother would wish it to be otherwise; but so it is, and that is our problem. The newly born does not have the wit to fend for itself. The infant Homo sapiens is committed for twelve years to a season of dependency on parents or parent substitutes; and it is during these twelve dependent years that we are turned into human beings. We learn to walk, as well as to speak, think, and cogitate in terms of local vocabulary. As we mature, language becomes part of our repertoire, but the essential core of all dialogue—as was poignantly observed in the coronary care unit remains nonverbal character. We are taught to respond to certain signals. I developed a mental image of some reporters as human snakes—steadily sniffing, slithering, darting, probing for some way to trick me, somehow to corner me in our interview exchanges. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 6
When a person makes some statement, displeasing to the public power structure, and the reporters, in an effort to whip him back inline, they would spread rumors to discredit him. However, some reporters are very honorable and extremely helpful and kind. Some work on the roots of such ghetto deviance as the little children out in the streets at midnight, playing Pokemon Go, with apartment keys on strings around their neck to let themselves in, and their mothers and fathers drunk, drug addicts, thieves, prostitutes. Many reporters put pressure on these parents and let them know that they are expected to set a higher example and be better parents. They are at city halls, unions, and major industries tell the mayor and city council that we need more jobs and affordable housing in the community to remove so many of them from the relief and welfare rolls, which crated laziness, and which deteriorated the nice communities into ghettos, and the ghettos into steadily worse places for humans to live. It was all—it I all—the absolute truth; but what did I want to say it for? Snakes could not have turned on me faster than a liberal in the Stanford University hoe house. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 6
And so, it seems to be, there is a critical problem indicated here, which parents and families have to face squarely: that, namely, of insuring that the signals which they are imprinting on their young are such as will attune them to, and not alienate them from the World in which they are going to have to live; unless, of course, one is dead set on bequeathing to one’s heirs one’s own paranoia. More normally, rational parents will wish to have produced socially as well as physically healthy offspring, well enough attended to the system of sentiments of the culture into which they are growing to be able to appraise its values rationally and align themselves constructively with its progressive, decent, life-fostering, and fructifying elements. When it is badly resolved, the result for the miseducated individual is what is known as a Waste Land situation. The World does not talk to him, nor does he talk to the World. The ugly side that the adolescent may recognize as part of his personality is revealed only to his parents, mainly because he feels secure that his parents will still love him despite these problems. Consciously using impression management, always looking good, is an essentially adolescent attitude, yet many adults enter marriage with these adolescent notions about dialogue. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 6
When a person cannot effectively communicate like an adult and really address the issues at he is facing, there is a cut-off, the individual is thrown back on himself, and he is in prime shape for that psychotic break-away that will turn him into either an essential schizophrenic in a padded cell, or a paranoid screaming slogans at large, in a bughouse without walls. Unfortunately, this problem cannot be solved merely by living under the same roof or in the same bed with someone else for a trial period. A total commitment with no precondition cannot be simulated by a test period with such preconditions. What is medically important is the way we live together—the dialogue. The very idea that there are no cookbook rules, there is no book of recipes or directions explain how to prepare and build various kinds of relationships. The only major precondition for dialogue is trust. If trust exists between two people, then dialogue will naturally develop. You cannot do something wrong and then grin like the damn Cheshire Cat, with that distinctive mischievous grin, and think your sneaky, cunning, mysterious behavior will be understood. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 6
