A recordplayer maintained the right, soft music, the atmosphere, plus the food, made the place. There is a principle in the human mind destine to be eternally at dealing with improvement and science. The youthful heart belongs to you—a youngster, for you are in possession of all—mirth, sorrow, lightheartedness and somberness. Make the best of youth and applaud for your burgeon vitality. We cannot wait for the charity of nature; we must ask for it—that is our mission. The most welcomed people are those who have confident, hopeful, brave, and happy eagerness for knowledge. And be ready for the future; never are those who recall the hardships, sadness, failure, and frustration of the past successful. When I had been around long enough to show signs of permanence, inevitably everyone thought of my astonishing potentiality. I believed my power and youth and told myself everything was up to me. Readiness requires persistence, perseverance, and austerity. There is no one who does not reap what has been sown, and one can succeed only by firmness and concentration, after overcoming hardships and unproductivity. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 5
I always loved waking up before dawn, the dark hours were my favorite, early in the morning before the Sun rose. I felt like the World was mine. Everyone else was busy sleeping, and it was so peaceful. I enjoyed this time of day. This was a time when I could escape the realities of life, forget about those annoying people stirring about to cause trouble. Free to do what I pleased, upon impulse. We live in a World beset on all sides with mysteries and riddles—and so this is no matter—else it seems strange, that Nature, who makes everything so well to answer its destination, and seldom or never errs, unless for pastime, in giving such forms and aptitudes to whatever passes through its hands, that whether it designs for the plough, the caravan, the cart—or whatever other creature Nature modeled, be it but an ass’s foal, you are sure to have the thing you wanted; and yet at the same time should so eternally bungle it as Nature does, in making so simple a thing as a committed man. I really enjoy peace and wish that people could be good to each other and find what they loved, that did not cause harm to others. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 5
The World has long ago settled that morality and virtue are what bring men peace at the last. Unfortunately, though we are all of a mind about the main opinion that virtue is what tends to happiness, and vice what ends in sorrow, we are not so unanimous about details—that is to say as to whether any given course, such, we will, as smoking, has a tendency to happiness or the reverse. Is there any human character that is always consistently good? One reads of them sometimes in books. In the worst books you could possibly read—the only really immoral books written in our time. Why are they immoral? For this plain reason, that they deliberately pervert the truth. A good friend is enough to me and I will hold the same attitude to the World. When I enjoy success, you always make perfection still more perfect. When I meet difficulty, you provide timely help to me, you are my friend, indeed, like a brother. Expediency is the root of all morality. It is stupid to be unmoral, and that is the long and short of it. People seem to forget there is a God and that they will be punished for their sins. When your lives start to unravel, you will know exactly why and remember what you did. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 5
There are times when, the elements being in unusual commotion, those who are bent on daring enterprises, or agitated by great thoughts, whether good or deviant, feel a mysterious sympathy with the tumult of nature, and are roused into corresponding violence. The lifeless symmetry of architecture no man would be so mad as to put in competition with the animated charms of nature. Every greeting conveys the feelings of gratitude from your heart. Let these words carry all my gratitude from my heart, which resembled a stone, but is in blossom under your care. What I can do now is to report to you that I have learned how to repay you inculcation. The most valuable thing is youth in one’s life. Let our youth hold splendid the rising Sun emitting bright rays in the sea of our life. All hours and all seasons are alike to the genuine lover of nature. Nature has given to every man enough of frailty to enable him to estimate the workings of selfishness and corruption, but its truly privileged are those who can shroud their motives and intension in a degree of justice and disinterestedness, which surpass calculation of the designing. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 5
The head and the heart are at variance, but when nature pleads, the voice of reason is feeble. At any time, and under any circumstances of human interest, is it not strange to see how little real hold the objects of the natural World can gain on our hearts and minds? What you have given me is a beautiful reminiscence and what you have impressed in my mind is purity and love. You are like a short poem or a serenade from which waft an elegant rhythm and tender musical notes, which bring about health and mirth to me. Could you know from afar the feelings of someone jilted? Distance is melancholically beautiful, so I have left you for a better memory. I have collected all the past dates into a book of verse waiting for your autograph. The learned compute that seven hundred and seven millions of millions of vibrations have penetrated the eyes before the eyes can distinguish the tints of a violet. What philosophy can calculate the vibrations of the heart before it can distinguish the colors of love? The course of true love never does run smooth. May it not be because when there are no obstacles, there are no tests to the truth? Ships fitted for rough weather are those built and stored for a long voyage.
