The bearer of deviant tidings hath but a losing office. It is the law of rackets, a services that is fraudulently offered to solve a problem, such as for a problem that does not actually exist, that will not be put into effect, or that would not otherwise exist if the racket did not exist, that every criminal expects to get caught. He or she tried to stave off the inevitable for as long as he can. Drugs often help these criminals escape their guilty conscious by pushing the thoughts of the horrors and atrocities they committed in the back of their minds. These drugs become the center of their lives, every day they smoke weed, use cocaine, crack, or meth so that they feel above their worries, they cannot feel the thick sense of death and eminent punishment in the air. People wondered how these thugs could show their faces at work, and why they all acted like they were mentally unwell and thought no one knew of mayhems that had been committed? This may occur because a variety of reinforcers (drugs) activate the same pleasure pathways in the brain. In this sense, a person may be addicted to food, sex, or love as well as to drugs. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 8

People were hooked on drugs like it was candy, and they were acting mentally unwell. They would lock the kids in the bedrooms and party every night. Chemical smells and smoke would fill the rooms. People were so high that they hand no moral center and acted like zombies. They would go to the store and come back days later. They basically had circuit parities at different houses and no one worked, but they partied every night. Many men and women were selling their bodies to the dope man so they could get high and when he got tired of running through them, they would go back home to their families. Loose, mentally deranged, and with a vacant look in their eyes. Everyone walked around without speaking, probably because they could not form words. The drugs that are most likely to lead to physical dependence are alcohol, amphetamines, barbiturates, cocaine, codeine, heroin, methadone, morphine, and nicotine. The perversion that was going on was much like Imperial Rome. There was an unholy passion for pleasure of the flesh, infamous prostitutes, and anyone who opposed the Emperor, he would fiendishly invent a means of disposing of them, and more. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 8

The level of corruption that was sweeping across the city was not for the squeamish, not for the prudish—many were shocked and aroused as the deviant conspiracy was becoming known to the public, and the decadence beneath the surface of the grandeur that was once Sacramento. One man from Oak Park changed the culture of the entire city. Illicit use of amphetamines is widespread. These stimulants became especially popular because people thought drugs would improve their mental and physical performance. Some abusers even began injecting Methedrine (“speed”) directly into their bloodstream. These true speed freaks would typically go on binges lasting several days, after which they would “crash” from a lack of sleep and food. To stay high, the abusers were taking more and more of the drug as the body’s tolerance grew. However, the higher doses also caused nausea, vomiting, high blood pressure, and potentially fatal heart arrhythmias, and crippling stoles. It is also important to realize that amphetamines speed up the bodily resources; they do not magically supply energy. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 8

Because the drugs cause you to use up your body’s natural resources faster, the after-effects of an amphetamine binge can cause hair loss, rapid aging, weight loss, but some people actually gain weight, fatigue, depression, terrifying nightmares, confusion, uncontrolled irritability, and aggression. Repeatedly overextending the body with stimulants may lead to self-starvation, sores and non-healing ulcers, tooth grinding, chronic chest infections, liver disease, high blood pressure, and brain hemorrhage. Amphetamines can also cause a loss of contact with reality knows as amphetamine psychosis. Affected users suffer from paranoid delusions, the speed freak may become violent, resulting in self-injury or injury to others. A potent new smokable form of crystal methamphetamines has recently added to the risks of stimulant abuse. This drug, known as “ice” on the streets, is highly addictive. Like “crack,” the smokable form of cocaine, it produces an intense high. However, also like crack, crystal methamphetamine leads very rapidly to compulsive abuse and severe drug dependence. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 8

People reported that the use of these drugs makes them feel closer to others and heightens their sensory experiences. For the abusers, if any worries did manage to push their way through to the surface of their consciousness, they could float them back where they came from until tomorrow, and then the next day. While these drugs are relatively cheap, it may ultimately prove to be a costly trip into the unknown. Some people had been able to smoke the weed, and sniff the snow and rarely show it very much, but after a while it is not that easy. One week the gang was not working—after a big haul, they were staying high and would go out clubbing. They could tell from the bartender’s face something was wrong, but everyone knew not to ask questions. It was always a rule—never ask anybody in that kind of situation; they will tell you what they want you to know. The boss sat down on a stool and ordered a Manhattan, and then he saw them. Serena and her sister Blair sat at the table inside, near the dance floor, with a white man. The cocaine is his system compelled him to get up because that was not Serena’s husband. It was his friend, and her husband was out of town, Serena and her sister had dinner with this man. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 8

After dinner, they drove around and went to Oak Park, the black ghetto, it was the white man’s idea. He must have been high and wanted a little amusement by the “coons.” The girls tried to change his mind because it was a bad neighborhood, one where you might get shot or car jacked for looking too rich. They ducked into a nightclub, and everyone pretended not to know them. For some reason, when you are with a white man, the girls do not want to associate with non-whites. They ordered drinks and prayed that none of the black men would set trip and rush this white dude. However, the boss walked up to the table and blew their cover. They all sat at the table together, snorted some coke. And when the boss woke up he was at home in bed. Many of these drugs are created in clandestine labs to circumvent drug laws. Because the drugs are not tested for safety, some have extremely toxic effects. One notorious drug damaged the brain in a way that left hundreds of users suffering from severe Parkinson’s disease, which is a debilitating disorder of the central nervous system that affects movement, often including tremors, and cannot be cured with treatment. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 8

Parkinson’s disease can last for years or be lifelong, and it also destroys memory and other important executive functions of the mental faculty. These drugs can cause severe liver damage that can be fatal. that could leave you bedridden, living out the slow workings of death by cancer. It turned out the white man was an undercover detective. He crept up in the house with a key. He got the bosses address from his identification card at the nightclub. And the house was loaded with evidence—fur coats, jewelry, an arsenal of guns, and drugs. The girls got blocked in, too. However, their bail was low because they were white girls, the boss was not. The detective was mainly upset that he had turned out these upper class white girls and had them hoin’ and hanging out in ghettos establishments, so they set his bail at $125,000.00. The white women in leagues with Negros was their main obsession. It really bothered the social worker and the forces of the law because these were high class women from good families. #RyanPhillippe 7 of 8

The white man started jamming dude up, he wanted to know if he had had the sex with these women. They did not care about the crimes that had been committed because all they could see is this black man was taking privilege with the white man’s women. Even in the court house all the bailiffs cared about with the gang bangin’ Negro has some white girls in his house. The first thing the lawyer told the boss is he had no business with these white girls and the county was investigating him because they wanted to get them out from under him. They police threated to send him to jail for life and take his house if he came near these white women again. Growth never comes at the same rate or in the same way for every person. So our paths intersected and our paths move against each other and our paths move apart. We can be grateful when physical closeness changes into personal presence. We know what it is to be together. We have returned to the point where we began in understanding response to human pain. The personal demands of the visceral bring us back to the key, which is ourselves. #RyanPhillippe 8 of 8
