They are Called Africans, Not Slaves First Lady!

They were leaders and strong people to endure all that they faced. I have an issue and get offended when I hear people still referring to African Americans, who were enslaved, as slaves. To call someone a slave is a derogatory term, it robs them of all the humanity. Africans, who came to America in shackles, were first and foremost people, First Lady Michelle Obama. Calling these first and second and third generation Africans salves would be the same as calling you that black lady in the white house. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 2

And yes, in 1792, 66 percent of the White House that you are privileged to wake up in every day, and where your teenage daughters play with their dog was built by African Americans, who were free and enslaved. Please stop calling these people slaves. They were the architects, scientist, musicians, therapist, engineers, doctors, cooks, and homemakers, and teachers for many people, in spite of their socioeconomic conditions. So do not forget your roots, and remember these Kings and Queens came from the richest continent on the face of this Earth. There are also castles in Africa, like the Castle of Good Hope, in South Africa, and Fasilides Castle in Ethiopia and many more. #RyanPhillippe 2 of 2
