The Building and Cinderella Complex

Touch your heart as far as you are being as far as I see, with your trust, you feel my hunger and you can take anything you want from me. I am running on your love, sailing on my thoughts, drifting into your heart, a boat to take me home, to belong, to be one. The only constant in TV news are the personalities of the news anchors and reporters. Many of you see them more often, certainly in your houses, more than you do your friends, neighbors, relatives, and even your co-workers from whom several are increasingly growing distant. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 12

A recent Harris poll points out, many people are so stressed out on their jobs that they do not want to invite anyone into their houses, on the regular basis, who would perturb, anger, or raise unpleasant issues in any way. God forbid that we would actually have to engage in serious conversation which would probably lead to disagreements with which we would have to deal. However, could you imagine being jammed up about the case of Mike Brown over a Thanksgiving Holiday, when all you want to do is eat and pretend we live in utopia? #RyanPhillippe 2 of 12

Thus, a prime requisite for being a TV news anchor is not necessarily that of being on top of the news, but of being able to mollify the audience, soothe them after a long hard day of stress. Not many people want to constantly be reminded that pretty soon, only the rich will be able to afford to reproduce and that poor people reproducing would be considered irresponsible because they cannot guarantee that their children will be able to lifelong productive lives even if they work hard and graduate from college.  #RyanPhillippe 3 of 12

The reality of life is that poor are being exterminated through natural selection. Natural selection refers to genetic change or changes in the frequencies of certain traits in populations due to differential reproductive success between individuals. And with the cost of living rising in America, in Sacramento, California alone, the cost of housing has more than doubled over the last decade, many people are seeing that a college education is important to survival, going to school, and collecting huge amounts of debt, in the process. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 12

As a result of the demand of a college education to increase chances of success, this is also acting as a form of population control, many youth are not having kids because they are too busy trying to provide a future for themselves, and by the time they are done with college, several have between $35,000 to $100,000 and student loan debts and cannot afford to buy a home, or reproduce, so they focus on paying down that debt.  Some do feel lonely and want child(ren), but know they cannot afford them so they just buy dogs. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 12

hbjnjkm,

Other youth do not even realize they are lonely and want kids because they are so busy filling their lives with all the new and exciting technology, which replaces their desire for child(ren). They realize that it cost about $584,000 to raise a kid until the age of 18, and that money could be spent on cars, technology, or buying a larger home, traveling and clothing, so they forgo having child(ren). For others, by the time they pay off their student loan debt, they may have only been able to afford to produce one child, or their biological clock passed them up. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 12

No one framework exists in a complex World that can make sense of everything, even if the public was interested in what is going on with overpopulation, population control, the eradication of poverty through natural selection, it would take too much dull, boring, and stressful lectures to teach to them anyway. So little or no attempt is made to present a larger view in which these issues could be located in some coherent framework for TV. You have to find independent journalist, who will put the thoughts together for you and explain what is actually going on. #RyanPhillippe 7 of 12

When ideas and events themselves no longer carry any badge or mark of instant coherency and credibility then the cohesion we require to make sense of our lives has to be carried by some other elements in our society. In this age of huge, bureaucratic institutions, lacking not only the personal touch, care, and concern, but also the regard for the dignity of either their employees or those whom they pretend to serve, what better supplier of continuity could there be than the pleasant faces who make pablum out of chaos and soothe our fragile minds by masquerading as our “friends.” #RyanPhillippe 8 of 12

In a highly clever and skillfully crafted series of short promotional videos, we get to “know” the TV anchor personalities through intimate mini-portraits highlighting their lives, their interests, backgrounds, and families. The general theme is one of “We are family; you can trust us because we are just like you; we like baseball, kids, families, and love the community.” There has been talks about replacing TV anchors with robots, but many of your news anchors really do care and provide you with services you cannot get from a robot. #RyanPhillippe 9 of 12

Recently, Dale Schornack of ABC10 News in Sacramento, California USA took a vacation, and on his way to the Sierra mountain range, it was snowing, and he came across a family stuck in the snow because they did not have chains for their car to keep going, and they did not have food or water, so Mr. Schornack gave the family food and water, and they had a baby with them, so it was very kind that a TV news anchor gave his last to a family in need. Also, Mr. Schornack recently had a birthday, at the end of March, and while on vacation, he brought viewers a story about a historical home he thought would interest them. This was very kind, and these are the type of TV news personalities we want in our houses. #RyanPhillippe 10 of 12

TV news is entertainment and many of the personalities on TV are good, but not all of them, yet we should not stereotype them all as bad, or fake. Entertainment not only constitutes a significant portion of the content within the news, but it has become integral to the content leading up to the news. The personalities that constitute the news not only perform on and with it, but they perform off it as well, and in many cases what you are seeing is real, they care. That is the truth about the natural and social Worlds so that these people can help you improve your lives by leading by example and produce true knowledge. #RyanPhillippe 11 of 12

Anyone who appears constantly on the screen is by definition a celebrity. And to be a celebrity is to constantly fester the public’s incessant requirement to know what the people are like who appear before them continuously. So these people cannot be rude, they cannot be seen stumbling out of the club drunk at 2am, they cannot relieve themselves on the side of the road, even if it is an emergency, for fear of letting a view down. They are looked at as superhuman and expected to behave that way. They have to anticipate, expect, and plan ahead to keep their audience happy. TV personalities without the negative and dramatic emotions. #RyanPhillippe 12 of 12
