So recently, I was talking to my friend, who is a very attractive young professional, and doing well in her career, and she was telling me that she would not date a guy with kids, it is a deal breaker. And I told her, you never know. A guy with kids might be a good option. Sometimes they will treat you well because they have child(ren) and have the fatherly instincts and would want others to treat their kids with respect, and she might actually really love his child(ren) because she will see the man she loves in them. An instinct, experience, or tendency has survival value if it helps (or once helped) human beings to stay alive. And maybe she saw a bad situation, involving a man with child(ren), and it really turned her off and is not something she wants to experience. Some people like to start fresh, especially when they are young, and meet someone who does not have obligations or potential drama in their life. Unnecessary problems can be a detriment to one’s health and also hurt their career. And not that children are problems, but there are usually reasons people are divorced. Not too long ago, a premade family was also a turn off for me, you always hear these horror stories about problems with the other parent, but I am not as perfect as everyone else, so I figured it was a good idea for me to keep an mind because it would provide me with more options. The things she may be reflecting on may have to do for reasons for behavior. Like, “Why did you not finish that report? Why did you not show up to work? Why are you so tired?” And as a young professional she cannot respond, “Because my husband thought I was cheating, and I got into it with his ex after seeing pictures of them together on social media, when he was supposed to be at work or with me.” #RyanPhillippe 3 of 8

The study of motivation is a long and complicated one for anyone who really takes time and effort to look into it. As we have been saying all along is human being are vastly more complex than most of us realize. And motivation is one of the most complex aspects of any human. It is possible that existentialism will not only enrich psychology, it may also be an additional push toward the establishment of another branch of psychology, the psychology of the fully evolved and authentic Self and its ways of being. Anyone who has ever had an apparent clairvoyant or telepathic experience may find it hard to question the existence of ESP. Yet, the difficulty of excluding coincidence makes natural occurrences less conclusive than they might seem. For instance consider a typical psychic experience. During the middle of the might, a woman away from home had a vision of someone breaking into her home, and murdering her sleeping husband. So she called and woke him up, and moments later a man, with the smell of liquor on his breath, open the door to the apartment with a key. An experience like this is striking, but it does not confirm the existence of ESP. If, by coincidence, a hunch turns out to be correct, it may be reinterpreted as a premonition or a case of clairvoyance. It is also been a long standing rumor that police work with psychic detectives. In one case a man, who two witnesses, including a police officer, identified as shooting someone was acquitted because no one thought it was possible for the officer to see the shooter from 120 away, in a dimly lit area, so a criminal could be walking the streets, as the existence of ESP had not been scientifically demonstrated. In another case, during the middle of the night, a woman away for the weekend visit had a strong impulse to return home. When she arrived, she found the house on fire with her husband asleep inside. The fire depart was able to extract him from the home and save the house before it completely burned to the ground. So the moral of the story is to trust your instincts. #RyanPhillippe 7 of 8
