In many preliterate societies, the optimal amount of solitude was zero. They tried to avoid being alone like the plague. When people had to go into the bush to relieve themselves, they always went with a friend or relative, for fear of being harmed by witchcraft if they went alone. That sorcery is most effective against a lonely person is not an entirely fanciful idea. What it describes is a real fact, although it explanation is allegorical. It describes what many social scientists have noted, namely that the mind of a solitary individual is vulnerable to delusions and irrational fears. When we talk to another person, even about the most important subjects, such as the weather, or last night’s ball game, the conversation introduces a shared reality into our consciousness. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 5

Even a greeting such as, “Have a great day” reassures us that we exist because other individuals notice us, and are concerned about our welfare. Thus the fundamental function of even the most routine encounters is reality maintenance, which is indispensable, lest consciousness disintegrate into chaos. My love is complete within me. The development of critical thinking skills is an important and lasting benefit of college education. Such skills enable people to evaluate, compare, analyze, critique, and synthesize information so they will not accept everything that is presented to them as the truth, without concrete proof or explanation. Be skeptical. And if you do check on the validity of advertising, and political statements, you will find that they are frequently misleading or just plain wrong. Groups of plants and animals can be distinguished from other groups by their ability to mate with one another and produce offspring. When groups of organisms migrate to new areas, they will gradually be altered as a result of adaptation to somewhat a different environment. The external environment is an agent of change in species. However, one species cannot give rise to another. Life originated in the seas and all species descended from a common ancestor. Life evolves, there is a constant competition for resources, and the environment is important in the evolutionary process. There is a dynamic relationship between species and the environment such that if the external environment changes, an individual’s activity patterns will also change to accommodate the new circumstances. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 5

This will result in the increased or decreased use of certain body parts, and consequently, body parts would be modified. These physical changes would occur in response to bodily requirements so that if a particular part of the body felt a particular need, fluid forces would be directed to that point and the structure would be modified. Because the alteration would make the individual better suited to its habitat, the new trait would be passed on to the offspring. This theory is known as the inheritance of acquired characteristics, or the use-disuse theory. For example, a young man living in a city with tall trees and high-rise buildings will grow taller to try and absorb more Sunlight. As vital tissues move to increase the height of the body, it becomes slightly longer, and can absorb more Sunlight.
