The special private happiness of the free person comes from his finding ways that help him be present in what he is doing. When I feel most present, most unfree, it is usually because I am not there as me. I do not mean that I am not in what I am doing, necessarily, I mean that I am driving myself, treating myself as an object, a tool, an instrument. By loving others, being cooperative, and displaying motivation helps to share a larger vision of how great life is. #RyanPhillippe 1 of 13

There is a World, other individuals, our own self, and your own body. Many individuals take that for granted. However, how do you know? More, how do you know you know? What makes you sure of the truth of any of the ideas you have learned and the reality you have experienced in your life time? If an idea races through your mind, where does it go? What process is involved when you think, learn, imagine, dream of feel? #RyanPhillippe 2 of 13

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said. However, I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant. Words, like eyeglasses, blur everything that they do not make more clear, if the perception is not right, or my conversation is taken out of context. We are always trying to understand or make sense out of our own and others actions and emotions. One strives to find means everywhere, and usually succeeds. What we are doing when we interpret something, when finding means, is not entirely clear. #RyanPhillippe 3 of 13

Most of us have experienced the strong and dramatic feelings like anger, hate, joy, depression, passion, and ecstasy, and fear. However, the findings of psychologists remind us that most people go to their graves still infants when it comes to living their fullest and most interesting emotional experiencing. The experience to communicate something in hidden depths and heights reaches the mind, and we are starting to appreciate being able to openly express our emotions. #RyanPhillippe 4 of 13

Emotions refer to the internal states of consciousness. Negative emotions like sadness, fear, anxiety, or boredom produce psychic entropy in the mind, that is, a state in which we cannot use attention effectively to deal with external tasks because we require it to restore an inner subjective order. Hardship, which leads to psychic entropy can leave one feeling fragmented, unraveled, and paralyzed by self-conflict and worrying thoughts gnawing at the mind like a chain saw. #RyanPhillippe 5 of 13

Beneficial emotions like happiness, strength, or vigilance refers to a state of psychic negentropy because your energy and knowledge can be carried out in a productive manner, without waste and effort. A negagentropic system, whether it be physical, informational, or mental, is one in which the parts of your body and central nervous system function together in synergy, with minimal friction or disorder. You will feel good about yourself and others, experience happiness, friendliness, and good cheer. #RyanPhillippe 6 of 13

When we choose to invest attention in a given task, we say that we have formed an intention, or set a goal for ourselves. How long and how intensely we stick by our goal is a function of motivation. Therefore, intentions, goals, and motivation are also manifestations of psychic negentrophy. They focus psychic energy, establish priorities, and thus create order in consciousness. Without them mental processes become random, and feelings tend to deteriorate rapidly. The main thing is life is not to be afraid to be human. Our instinctive emotions can sometimes be those that we have inherited from a much more dangerous World, and contain, therefore, a larger portion of fear than they should. #RyanPhillippe 7 of 13

Goals are usually arranged in a hierarchy, from trivial one like getting to the corner store to buy something to whiten your teeth, to outstanding goals like risking one’s life for the country. In the course of an average day, about thirty-three percent of the time individuals will say that they do what they do because they wanted to do it, another thirty-three percent because they had to do it, and the remainder of individuals report they did something because they had nothing better to do. #RyanPhillippe 8 of 13

The proportions vary by age, gender, and activity: children feel they have more of a choice than their fathers, and men more than their wives; whatever a person does at home is perceived to be more voluntary than at work. Quite a bit of evidence shows that whereas people feel best when what they do is voluntary, they do not feel worst when what they do is obligatory. Psychic entropy is highest instead when individuals feel that what they do is motivated by not having anything else to do. #RyanPhillippe 9 of 13

We have an innate propensity to get ourselves noticed, and noticed favorably, by our kind. No more fiendish punishment could be devised, were such a thing physically possible, than that one should be turned loose and remain absolutely unnoticed by all the members thereof. Thus both intrinsic motivation (wanting to do it) and extrinsic motivation (having to do it) are preferable to the state where one acts by default, without having any kind of goal to focus attention. The large part of life many people experience as being thus unmotivated leave a great deal of room for improvement. #RyanPhillippe 10 of 13

Intentions focus psychic energy in the short-run, whereas goals tend to be more long-term, and eventually it is the goals that we pursue that will shape and determine the kind of self that we are to become. Without a consistent set of goals, it is difficult to develop a coherent self. It is through the patterned investment of psychic energy provided by goals that one creates order and experience. This order, which manifests itself in predictable actions, emotions, and choices, in time becomes recognizable as more or less unique self. #RyanPhillippe 11 of 13

Perhaps the most important lesson the World has learned in the past century is that it is not true that human nature is unchangeable. Human nature, on the contrary, can be changed with the greatest ease and the utmost possible extent. If this lies huge potential danger, it also contains some of the brightest hopes that we have for the future of life on Earth. You started off as a cute little happy baby, who just wanted love and attention. However, experiences may have made you hard and angry. Yet, there is hope. #RyanPhillippe 12 of 13

The mind is a muscle, it is not a stone. A muscle can be reshaped and altered to revert back to something more relaxed, pleasant and beautiful. That is what I have been trying to do with you. I want to restore you to the person you once were, the excited, happy, fun, and brave young man you used to be. You are not a robot nor a puppet, and I admire you for more than just your body, face, hair, and work, I love your superb mind. There is nothing in love more requisite and delectable than pleasant and wise conference; neither can there arise any White Squall in the Albatross of love which by wit and determination is not turned to a calm. #RyanPhillippe 13 of 13
