Every virtue may be learned and practiced at home; and it is only because we do not choose to have either virtue or religion among us, that so many adventurers are yearly sent out to smuggle foreign graces.

For a human being to adapt to a rapidly-changing World, he requires the companionship and support of other with whom he may sometimes disagree, but nevertheless feels a fundamental bond of like-mindedness. Some men are gay, and hide it, they even marry women, but still have sex with men. In some cases, the women know, but that is not always the case.

There are also men who are openly gay, but not flamboyant nor do they disclose their orientation. You might suspect that some men are gay because they are good-looking, and not dating any women, and that is possible. However, think how hard social life can be sometimes.

These guys who took a while to discover that they are gay, or for some reason decided to become homosexuals have people that have grown up with them for years, and although no one speaks about that individual’s sexual orientation, could you imagine if they were drinking with the straight guys and slipped up and called another guy cute or something? Or if they ended up messing around with another guy? It would change their entire relationship.

Sometimes when people are having relationship issues, they may go out and hook up with someone. So imagine how cognitive these guys have to be. You do not want to disclose your personal life and have to have a block in your head to hold on to your secrets.

Nonetheless, people usually are more comfortable disclosing their preference of a mate when they are in a committed relationship, and until then they do not own their sexuality because nothing is happening. It is an individual matter. And I know sometimes they hope their relationships last because they want to disclose this part of themselves and express how happy they are.

So anyway, I was watching 2 Broke Girls, and two girls, who were in high school, stole Caroline and Max’s original tee shirt that they produced for their business. It is a very cute shirt. So the two thieves refused to stop selling the shirts and were making a bundled off of them, while Caroline and Max were struggling just to pay the rent and working two jobs.

And to top it off, the other girls claimed it was their design, which is actually was not, and threatened to sue Caroline and Max. So Caroline and Max’s boss, Han, pretended to be a lawyer, but he did not threat a counter suit, instead he picked up the microphone and gave a speech about how he was bullied and how it hurt him. When people are constantly bullied, in changes them. Everyone has a light inside and when you hit them or make fun of them, it dims that light and they become different.

The speech was so compelling that the mean girls agreed to stop bullying Max and Caroline. While I was watching this episode, it made me wish it was that easy to deal with adults. You can talk to kids and tell them what they are doing wrong, in a nice way, and even without threatening to hurt them they will stop.

However, with adults many of them are just looking to hurt others and get over and no matter what you say to them it may not help, and it could make matters worse. I have seen people harass others and when they person speaks up for themselves, they are reported or threatened.

Because many bullies now play the victim role, it is really hard to stop harassment. I have seen an office full of people physically attack one of their coworkers and they bully him to the Max and nothing is done to stop them that we know of, even though everyone knows what it going on.

A person’s self-concept is strongly rooted in his early experiences. Many people probably, even as adults, require role models. Another thing I find interesting is some people are not really racist and they find people of different cultures attractive.

My friend is mixed race. His mother and African American and Father is European American. The kid mostly hung out with blacks and the grandfather disowned his son (and I cannot tell you why, it might hurt someone’s feelings), and was extremely private. Like his grandchildren did not even get to know their other family members besides the black ones, unless it was at a family reunion.

Many of our ideas about the World come from personal observation. The mixed race son, heard bad things about a certain culture in history books, and whenever a white person is mean, many black people assume that they are racist. So after years of hearing these jokes and even being mistreated by some people, the biracial son refused to date them, and although he found them beautiful, he could not imagine kissing them or probably anyone for that matter.

He is like a preteen in a way, they find kissing gross. So anyway, he ended up falling in love with this white guy, and ended getting over all the prejudice thoughts in his head, and was so thankful that they have been so kind and helpful today them. They are actually his largest support group.

When he was a kid, he did have a friend named Zach, who was white, with blonde hair and blue eyes. And they were really good friends, he recalled how nice and gentle white boys are when they are kids, and after a while of not having white friends, he started to miss them. And the interesting thing is when he was kind of offset by white guys, he felt like they were two different races, and wondered why they are so cold.

However, since he started saying nice things about them, they seem to have become nicer, and it is not just like one are two. A lot of them, and they have conversations and stuff and that is good. He did disclose that he felt like because of what we learned in history is the reason he would not date them initially, and also for fear of being rejected for being black. Disclosure of man to man, honest, direct, uncontrived, is the necessary condition for reducing the mystery that one man is for another.

Have you ever seen a person and found them attractive, but wonder what you might have in common with them? Well, that happens to a lot of people, and people are so afraid of even being rejected as a friend. Nonetheless, if you can, get to know them.

I know in my life I imagine being married, living in a modest house with a nice yard, and me and my spouse having a couple of cars. I am a homebody and love staying home. Travelling is nice and partying is fun, but I want my life and marriage to be like Darrin and Samantha from Bewitched. A person feels comfortable with his norms established by his culture. Virtue consists in actions, and not in words.
