Microchimerism (MC) is the presence of a small number of cells that originate from another individual, and are therefore genetically distinct from the cells of the host individual. Women and men absorb and carry living DNA cells from every male they have ever had sexual intercourse with, they have assumed sperm into their bodily system, and the living cells and genetic material implant themselves into your muscles and skin. This phenomenon may be related to certain types of autoimmune diseases; because your body does not recognize the foreign material and attacks it.
