If people deny us the prerogative of being rational creatures, they give us ample liberty to range in wide precincts of folly. Even the smooth surface of family union seems worth preserving, through there may be nothing durable beneath because families are the most beautiful thing in the World, and the duty we owe a parent is sacred. My son and daughter keep your father’s commands and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. Wise sons and daughters bring joy to his father, but a foolish man despises his mother. One that leaveth his or her own house is worthy of no house, and parents must always love the child they once loved. Most of us have no idea what it is like to being in a World, without family, and be thankful for that. Right now, the World is in an uproar. There are volcanoes going on, Earthquakes decimating cities, leaving tens of thousands of people without mothers, fathers, and children. And there are thousands of people rioting because of the loss of a young man, in America. What is public life without private ties? Clearly, these private ties, we like to call family, mean the World to us, or there would not be such outrage at the loss of loved ones. Your family may not be perfect, but that is all you have. Family likeness has often a deep sadness it in. Many people have been ready to give up on their family and walk away. However, nature, that great dramatist, knits us together by bone and muscle, and divides us by the subtler web of our brains; blends yearning and repulsion; and ties us by our heartstrings to the beings that jar us at every movement. If a kingdom be a great family, a family likewise is a little Kingdom, torn with factions and exposed to revolutions. There are people out there, who will try to tear you apart from your family, because they are jealous and want to convince you the World is full of doom and gloom and no one loves you. However, those people are deeply hurting, even when they smile, they are really crying inside, there is something deeply wrong with those type of people, and their souls are full of darkness, they are trying to suck the light and life out of you. Your family often extends beyond those you are related to. Appreciate the love that comes your way.

Your family is also other people who love you and wish you well. Some people spend years trying to find you because they care. Never think you are better than your family and forgive them for the wrong they may commit.

None of us are perfect, and we are all growing and learning. Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land of the of your Heavenly Father, your God is giving you.
