Forgiveness is a human’s duty, but that can only mean as you are to give up all thoughts of taking revenge; it can never mean as you are to have your old feelings back again, for that is not possible. Forgiving sins is not blotting them out.

The blood of Christ only turns them red instead of black. It leaves them in the record. A dissolute and selfish mind is commonly an unforgiving one. So many people are upset with the beautiful ESPN reporter, Britt McHenry, because they saw an edited tape of her calmly having words with a tow truck company, who towed her car.

No one knows what the other party said to Britt McHenry, but everyone is jumping down her back for what she said without understanding the full context of the situation.

Many of us have had words with someone, and we have also experienced people taking what we said out of context and spreading it around to make us look bad. However, I find it amazing that so many of you are judging Britt McHenry, without even seeing the full tape.

Also, having your car towed would upset anyone, not only is that inconvenient, but it also cost a lot of money and time. We have no idea what this young woman was going through, what was said to her, or even if she was late getting somewhere.

The person who cannot forgive any mortal things is a green hand in life. It is ourselves that we cannot forgive, when we refuse forgiveness to our friend. I am asking you to please not judge Britt McHenry, but try to understand and move past this situation, without calling her names.

Our hearts warm more to those warm more to those we have been kind to, than to those who have been kind to us. If you forgive others, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. However, if you do not forgive people, your Father will not forgive you.

None of us are perfect, and when we see someone is suffering and in pain, we should try to understand them and lift them up with our words, thoughts, and prayers. What Britt McHenry did was really not that bad, and she was not even on the clock, so it is unfair that she is being suspended from work and harassed by the public.

Other reporters, like Kenny Holmes (NBCLA), Tony Lopez (CBS13), and Cody Stark (CW31) have done far worse and actually gotten a viewer seriously hurt, but never faced any consequences, did not make the news, and never issued an apology.

Love must suffer in this stern World. Is is possible that the only reason people are upset with Britt McHenry is because she is a beautiful young successful woman who stood up for herself? She was provoked, and we need to let this situation go. It is not even that serious.

God gives more when we forgive others. We that fight the living World must have the universal for succor of the truth in it. Cast forth the soul in prayer, you meet the effluence of the other truth, you join with the creative elements giving breathe to you.

Prayer is power within us to communicate with the desire beyond our thirsts. We know what to pray for when we pray, that God’s will may be done, and that we may be resigned to it. So let us forgive this young woman and wish her well.  The Lord, our God is merciful and forgiving.
