Being a Real Human

Blackman 337

Some people are more gifted at living then others. They do have an effect on those around them, but the process stops there because there is no ways of describing in technical terms just what it is they do. A fully human person does not demand perfection, but tires to fulfill his own potential.

One recognizes one will make mistakes and accepts this as much as one’s ability to succeed. One uses neither their success nor their failures to prove they are superior or inferior to other people. Nothing contributes so much to tranquillize the mind as a steady purpose.

A fully human person recognizes they have a capacity for enjoyment and pleasure. One sees life as a time for fun, it is not a game, but fun is possible in life. One is not afraid of pleasure and seeks to share it with other people.

One realizes that life must be a balance between seriousness and fun. One can be childlike and open to spontaneous enjoyment of life. Love is the child of love only; to love the creature who we are assured hates us is not in human nature.

Park 020

A fully human person tries to be real and open in his relationships with others. One is willing to risk another person’s reaction to one’s open expression of feelings. One uses openness and authenticity, not to manipulate or control, but to share knowledge of oneself with others.

We attempted to imagine what thought and awareness might have been like for early humans. All persons are doomed to be in love once in their life.

Peace is with those who Love.

Peace is with those who Love.
