Cease to be astonished, and only learn to love–an important lesson, and one not too well learned. And I know you may be tired and the struggle has been long and tumultuous, but that is how the process of building faith goes, and when you finally get your reward, you will feel you deserve it because you know, in your gut and integrity, that you earned it.

There is something you should never put on the line and that is your integrity, do not allow it to be set aside for one short term gain. When an individual is aware of oneself, and the World and lives in accord with these conditions of being alive, you are a harmonious part of all being. There is nothing in love more requisite or more delectable than pleasant and wise conference; neither can there arise any storm in lobe which by wit is not turned into calm.

No human being springs forth from the womb as fully-grown, sophisticated, wise, ready-for-anything adult. Nor does anyone possess all the necessary skills for effectively interrelating when they come into the World. We have to learn the techniques of relating to other humans. However, we do bring some characteristics into the World with us.

Exactly what is inherited and what do we learn depends on what we are exposed to. I must learn that the purpose of my life belongs to God, not me. God is using me from His great personal perspective, and all He asks of me is that I trust Him. When I stop telling God what I want, He can freely work His will in me without any hindrance.

We learn much about how to deal with authority figures in general from our interactions with parents, who are the first authority figures most of us encounter. Not all parents are alike. This is one of the main reasons people react different to authority figures and we must continually keep our soul open to the fact of God’s creative purpose and never confuse or cloud it with our own intentions.

If we do, God will have to force our intentions aside no matter how much it may hurt. All the Earth, though it were full of kind hearts, is but a desolation and a desert place to a mother when her children are absent. A mother’s love perceives no impossibilities. God also loves you like a mother loves her only child, and when a man is in love, there is nothing else of him. God loves all of his children.

Think of building faith in this way: remember when you were a kid, and were on a sports team, and everyone tired their hardest, but you never won a game? Well, the thing about sports is it is NOT just about winning. Playing sports is about getting exercise, having fun, learning to work with other and follow direction. Sports are also about trying to improve, learning to control your mind and body, and being thankful that you have the ability to be physically active, as everyone is not able.

Formed by nature for love, the human heart sympathizes instinctively in the misfortunes too often occasioned by it. These are the same concepts that go in to building faith, and know that one day, with perseverance, you will win the game, but if you quit or have a bad attitude, that defeats the purpose. Keep trying and know that you will one day have the faith required to overcome any challenge.
