A laptop computer (typewriter) stands on my desk, in my book lined study. It is a tangible symbol of mental youthfulness that makes me willing to use any modern tool I have found to be efficient. I type all my own stuff straight on the machine. I do not find that my work is any better, or any different, if I draft it by hand. To those dedicated writers, who believe every word must be hand-written, with pen or pencil, if not to suffer some subtle loss of quality. The laptop is just common sense, it is easy to use, not easy to leave behind, and so expensive that it will not get misplaced. I do not despise new-fangled things merely because they are new technology. This does not mean that I am one of those people who endeavor to cling to youth long after youth has gone. I try to delude neither myself nor anyone else by pretending I am not a young man, and I write frankly of many concerns of youth. However, neither love nor crushed red velvet jacket, nor a juicy valor track suit withstand the test of time.
Suppose this year that the federal government passes legislation to control population growth by limiting the size of each family to three children. Supposed they mandate the sterilization of each father, after his third child is born, and that is he refuses, he will be sterilized with or without his consent. Such an invasion of privacy would never be tolerated in the United States of America. However, family size is also an issue in America, China, and Japan. Standard food production costs are increasing, hygiene is becoming a concern, and medical care is costing taxpayers a trillion dollars each year. Most Americans take the luxuries they have for granted, and the population is growing at alarming rates. The human population has undergone rapid exponential growth since the mid-eighteenth century. Nature has made the heart the magnetic point of mutual attraction in affairs of a first and mutual passion, and the head of the wisest individual is here out of its sphere.
We now turn to the existing spectrum of life. Today, humans have the population size, technology, and the cultural inclination to use energy and modify the environment at astonishing rates. To gain perspective on what is happening; at sometime between 6 million and 4 million years ago, the first humans emerged. The birth year of the World’s billionth human very likely took place in the year 1805. By the year 1927, there were 2 billion people on Earth. Fast-forward to 2014, there are now 7 billion people on Earth any by year 2025, there will be 8 billion people on Earth, and it already seems like we are overcrowded. You cannot drive or walk down the street without being hit by a car, cannot get into an elevator, without smelling someone’s foul odor, and cannot walk outside your front door without two or three of your neighbors either fishing for information, trying to subliminally insult you, or saying hello. Still, health is the normal condition.
The human body is continually under siege. It is the preferred home for a variety of pathogens—including viruses, bacteria, fungi, protozoans, and parasitic worms. Sickness palls every appetite and makes us hate what we loved. Pathogen means that these agents are capable of infection—of invading and then multiplying in the cells and tissues of a host organism. Disease may be the outcome of an infection. It results whenever the body cannot mobilize its defenses quickly enough to prevent the pathogen’s activities from interfering with normal body functions. Direct contact, as by touching open sores or other lesions on an infected person can be a mode for disease transmission as well as some other mediums. Infected people also can transfer pathogens from such lesions to their own hands or mouth and so contaminate someone else through a handshake or a kiss. Gonorrhea, syphilis, and other sexually transmitted diseases are spread through direct contact.
Indirect contact can also spread disease, as by touching doorknobs, food, diapers, pet waste (even if it is in a plastic bag), hypodermic needles ( as used by drug abusers), or other objects that were previously in contact with an infected individual. Food that is moist, not refrigerated, and not too acidic can be contaminated by an assortment of pathogens, including the ones responsible for amoebic dysentery, bacterial dysentery (Shigella), and typhoid fever. Inhaling pathogens that have been injected into the air, as by coughs and sneezes can also cause illness, makes you think twice about pot luck or your next buffet, I suppose? Also, encounters with biological vectors can lead to disease. These include mosquitoes, flies, fleas, ticks, and other arthropods that transport pathogens from infected people or contaminated material to new host. Some say it is okay to wear a pair of jeans more than once, but you may want to wash them after every use. Many pathogens only use vectors like public seats, taxis, digital phones, keyboards, and microphones to spread disease and virus.
Bacteria and most protistans are microorganisms, meaning they are is so small that they cannot be seen without a microscope. There is a new class of pathogens, smaller than bacteria, currently being studied. Other the other hand, many viruses also can have devastating effects on humans, animals, insects, plants, fungi and bacteria. A virus is a noncellullar infectious agent having two characteristics. Viruses are not alive, and consist of a nucleic acid core (its genetic material) within a protective protein coat. Next, a virus can be replicated only after its genetic material has entered a host cell and subverted the cell’s biosynthetic machinery. The immune system can be weakened by chronic fatigue or chronic stress. In some cases, they can be essentially shut down (as during AIDS). AIDS eventually kills its victims, and there is no cure. So no sex is better than risky sex.
On rare occasions, cell-mediated immunity is weakened and the body becomes highly vulnerable to infections that might not otherwise be life threatening. This is what happens in AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome). That is why the Centers for Disease Control recommend that all men, who are practicing homosexual contact, even if they are negative and disease free and using protection to use antiretrovirals drugs like Truvada. Huge prevention and reductions have been seen, in rates of infection, death and suffering when use is made of a potent ARV regimen, particularly in early stages of the disease. Daily doses of Truvada cut the risk of infection, by 44 percent, when prescribed with condoms, counseling and other prevention services. Men, who took their pills most faithfully, had even more protection, up to 73 percent. AIDS is a set of chronic disorders that can follow infection by the human immunodeficiency virus. AIDS is caused by the human immunodeficiency virus or HIV. The virus cripples the immune system. AIDS is mainly a sexually transmitted disease, with most infection occurring through the transfer of bodily fluids during vaginal or anal intercourse. Such fluids include blood, semen, and urine, anal and vaginal secretions. The virus enters the body through cuts or abrasions on the penis, vagina, or rectum, or by contact with your skin or the inside of your body, through mucous membranes in the mouth. Once inside the body, the virus locks onto cells that are capable of sustaining its replication.
There are currently 33.4 million people in the World living with AIDS. At first AIDS shows not symptoms and there is currently no vaccine. There is a common misconception that skinny people, especially those who are gay have AIDS, simply because they are thin. That is a myth, there are many people, who are and have AIDS. And as unfathomable as it may sounds, with the economy being so bad, so people even lie about having the terminal illness to get special consideration for jobs, promotions and housing. Nonetheless, more than 1.1 million people, in the United States of America, are living with HIV infections; and 16 percent of the cases, people who are infected are unaware of their infection. In 2013, 12,400 White men were infected with HIV, 10,800 Black men, and 7,200 Latino men. 80 percent of the infected White men report they got HIV from homosexual or bisexual contact, in contrast, 44 percent of Black men report getting HIV from homosexual or bisexual contact. 25 percent of all new HIV infections are from people ages 13 to 24, and since 1981, 25 million people have died from AIDS.
In 2008, 2 million people died due to HIV/AIDS, and another 2.7 million were newly infected. Almost all those living with HIV (97 percent) reside in low and middle income backgrounds or countries However, San Francisco, California is an exception, as it is a high rent district. The spread of HIV has led to massive public education programs, including the strongest possible advocacy for people to save their virginity, through celibacy, abstinence or by using latex condoms, together with a spermicide that contains nonoxynol-9, is assumed to be highly effective in stopping transmission—but there is still a small risk of irreversible infection. Openmouthed, intimate kissing, with a person who has AIDS or HIV should be avoided. Caressing carries no risk—if there are no lesions or cuts through which the virus can enter the body. Such lesions commonly accompany other sexually transmitted diseases, and they are apparently correlated with increased susceptibility to HIV infection.
Fevers are never at their height once, they must get there by degrees. Phillipe Padieu, age 53, from the state of Texas, had unprotected sex with six women, even after he learned he was HIV positive, in September 2005. In 2009, Phillipe Padieu was convicted on all six counts of assault with a deadly weapon. Prosecutors called Phillipe Padieu a predato, ticking time bomb, and weapon. All things going well, HIV cuts your life expectancy by 10 years, as a result, Phillipe Padieu could serve up to 99 years in a Texas prison. There are some landmarks on the road to the tomb, which, but for the impiety of the aspiration, many wished they never had passed. The greatest object in the Universe is health. You may be struggling financially and with adversity, yet there is still a greater, which is the good that comes to relieve it. There are so many draw backs to regard and intimacy may be one of them at times. We cannot always be repaired is not to be forgotten.
Midtown Sacramento, California was once known as the herpes triangle. Faces and a few other nightclubs formed this triangle. Genital herpes is also another extremely contagious viral infection of the genitals. It is transmitted when any part of a person’s body comes into direct contact with active Herpes viruses or sores that contain them. Mucous membranes of the mouth or genital area are especially susceptible to invasions, as is broken or damages skin. Transmission seems to require direct contact; the virus does not survive for long outside the human body. There are an estimated 20 million people with genital herpes in the United States of America alone. From 1965 to 1979, the number of reported cases increased by 830 percent, which is interesting because that is known as generation X. Generation X, commonly abbreviated to Gen X, is the generation born after the Western Post–World War II baby boom. And 200,000 to 500,000 cases of genital warts are still being reported annually. When a person of robust and vigorous constitution has a fit of sickness, it produces a much more powerful effect than the same indisposition upon a delicate valetudinarian.
